I still have my Ds Lite and I'm probably not going to upgrade. The main reason being so I can still play old Gameboy games without actually having to break out the old SP.

Snivy063 November 3rd, 2011 8:47 AM

Although, I'd be getting really cool if you got all of the versions. :'3

That depends, I wouldn't have wanted to collect them all, it would've gotten extremely expensive.

Oryx November 3rd, 2011 8:53 AM

I want Nintendogs tbh. /girl But I had a train mixup recently which put me out 80 bucks so I don't really want to spend money. :(

If your a huge fan of them and if you can afford them, why not? But as for the ones who can't afford like me, guess we're unlucky! xD

Sweet Candace November 3rd, 2011 9:02 AM

I wouldn't be able to afford buying all DS models, one at a time would be fine with me.

That's strange... Last time I checked, wasn't there already a global price drop? If it still costs €250, well... something seems to be very wrong.

My rear.

Many things seem to be very wrong here. 3DS prices should be the least of our worries, don't you agree?

Waitwaitwaitwaitwait... the 3DS is region-locked? Dammit! There goes my sneaky plan to buy a 3DS for cheap when I go to the US next year. Now I'll just have to wait until it goes down in price for real. Stupid, expensive UK...

>_> Exactly! But your games are also crazy expensive compared to the US ones. And sometimes the censor out stuff in the UK game versions. It's so frustrating. I'm just gonna buy one here in Toronto and have my boyfriend ship me games cause we'll be shipping each other packages anyways <3 I'll just paypal him the cost of the game. Easy-peasey, though I am sure if you wanted to do it that way, you can just ebay the games with worldwide shipping. Dunno if you'd need an American credit card though..

I'm looking forward mostly to Tales of the Abyss and Phoenix Wright Vs Professor Layton. Plus I also really want Ocarina of Time remake *_*.. <3

blue November 3rd, 2011 11:40 AM

The one game I mainly bought the 3DS for was Mario Kart 7 but since then, there has been many more that I want i.e Pokemon Rumble Blast, Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man etc.

Impo November 3rd, 2011 1:20 PM

oh, the DS is in a combo for around $250 AUD, but mum's getting me a PS3 for Christmas. I don't think she'll like me getting two consoles

Mr Cat Dog November 3rd, 2011 3:01 PM

UK prices for DSs

Nintendo 3DS: £130
Nintendo DSiXL: £140

Huh. Wouldn't have guessed that. Hopefully in a few months, the 3DS will have gone down even more, which avoids me getting it in the US. Great!

Charizard★ November 3rd, 2011 3:16 PM

When I bought my DS Lite, it cost about $150. Wish I could have that money back, seeing as I stopped really playing it after SS came out. And to make it even worse, I'm pretty sure some kid stole it/lost it.

blue November 3rd, 2011 3:16 PM

I think I got my 3DS for around £130-£145 but that was on release date so it was good value and by the looks of things it's still worth that value so I'm happy with that!

MuffinPaula November 3rd, 2011 3:46 PM

Ill get a 3DS when they come out with a new DS so I can compare it..

Alley Cat November 3rd, 2011 4:35 PM

I just stopped buying DS products because they did that whole rapid-release of all their products, releasing version 4 when you just bought version 3. blahh.

alisaie November 3rd, 2011 4:38 PM

They're not as fast as Apple and their new releases, but hell I could be wrong. I'm still stuck with my crappy DS Lite mainly because I have no money. Though I do have the option of playing my games on my siblings' DSs, so it isn't too bad.

Sweet Candace November 3rd, 2011 4:39 PM

Yeah, Apple seems to be the one most guilty of releasing new products right after you bought the old one. :|

Kenshin5 November 3rd, 2011 4:43 PM

I bought the 3DS when it was expensive, and the Ambassored Program is a mah trade off for price at best. Hopefully the exclusive GBA games are worth it. As far as what I am looking forward to number one would be SSB, then probably Paper Mario. As for upcoming Super Mario Land 3D <3.

Is it just me... or does it seem incorrect that DP has been around for nearly 6 years, it just doesn't seem that long at all.

Centuries ago in internet years. I only learned about them at the beginning of 2010, lol.

Like I said in your old topic, if you were apart of it at the beginning it seems a bit old. I personally got tried of it 3 or 4 years into it. OMG Heart Gold and Soul Silver are two years old!

Oryx November 3rd, 2011 5:59 PM

Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright. No one can not be excited for that.

blue November 3rd, 2011 7:25 PM

Professor Layton looks very intresting..

A Pixy November 3rd, 2011 7:43 PM

I always thought Professor Layton was cool.

Just never got around to buying any of his games. o3o
