The World of Chaos

The Story

Twenty years have passed since Luso Clemens and Clan Gully prevented the great monster Neukhia from destroying Ivalice. Luso returned to his strange home in another world, and Clan Gully went on with its leader: Cid the Rev to become the most famous clan in Jylland. Famed, glorified and enriched, all of its members soon fell victim to retirement. But its name was forever to be etched into the history books.

Khamja, however, had been reduced to mere thieves and assasins after what Clan Gully did, and so have been trying to reach the status they once held... Until they became a part of something much bigger than they would ever know...

Jylland, Ivalice is now experiencing strange and horrible things. Natural disasters are being reported from all sorts of places. Floods are reported in small places such as Wood Village, and earthquakes of up to 7.0 have been reported in places like Goug and Fluorgis. More murders have been recorded, believed to have been sacrifices done by a cult. Cases of genocide have also taken place in some towns, making people scared to go out of their houses... All except those brave enough to become a part of a clan.

New clans are being formed more than ever, to try to profit from all the bills at the pub. The bartender has so many bills that he's had to throw out a few. Jylland is in chaos, and some distant travellers from other places in Ivalice report the same thing. All of Ivalice is undergoing these strange shifts in nature. It is as close to turmoil as the land has ever gotten.

Clan Gully has reacted to this danger, and has risen from the ashes. They now go under a new leader, and has been completely re-structured. The land of Jylland, and even beyond, expect the historical clan to make another great achievement in solving the mystery, and uncovering the truth behind these strange happenings.

Meanwhile, Khamja, now known as Nex Malum, have a new goal, along with new leaders. They are once again becoming feared, since many believe that it is they who are committing the murders and the cases of genocide. What many of the people don't realize is that even the former members of Khamja do not know what they are doing these things for. They don't even know what their goal is. All they know is that they must find something known as the "Chaos Staff," and they are going to do whatever it takes to find it.

You can be a part of two factions. Clan Gully, the good guys, or Nex Malum, the bad guys. Clan Gully will not know that Khamja even exists still, now as Nex Malum, while Nex Malum won't know of Clan Gully's existance. Clan Gully's goal is to investigate the occurrences, while Nex Malum's purpose is to locate the Chaos Staff while doing what their Elders tell them to do. At the point in the RP when both sides find out about each other, the goal will become simple: Find the Chaos Staff before the other. However, keep in mind that the Elders of Nex Malum won't be telling why or what the Chaos Staff is needed for until much, much later into the story.

Job System

In this RP, there are seven playable species: Humes, Moogle, Viera, Bangaa, Nu Mou, Gria and Seeq. Each species comes with their own unique job system, that meaning you can select a profession for your character. For example, if you want to be a human, you can select out of any of the jobs available for that species, like Soldier, Fighter or Paladin.

There is something that should be noted, however. As you may or may not find, certain jobs are now able to use weapons that they weren't able to use in the games. An example of this would be the Hume Fighter job. In the games, the Fighter job can only use Blades. In this RP, however, a Fighter can still use Blades, but now they can also use Axes AND Lances. Also, I have added another kind of weapon to this RP, and that would be the Whip. Please click on the link I provided if you want more information on them. Now, whips are comparable to lances. While they are not long-ranged weapons, they have more range than your standard sword.

And yes, the special jobs will be available. If you want your character to have a special job, you better have a decent SU. Oh, and there is a limit. Only one person can have that special job.

The Hume:

The most populous race in Ivalice, there are a few places where humes have made their mark. A well-rounded race, humes are equally suited to swordplay and magery. The Jobs available for them are:

A fluffy pom-pom and bat-like wings set this race apart. Their small stature lends itself to leaping out and surprising people, in which they take great delight. With tiny and nimble hands, moogles excel at a number of unusual Jobs. The Jobs available for them are:

(Note that Moogles say "kupo" at the end of each sentence, so if you're narrating in First Person you should say "kupo" at the end of each sentence even when a Moogle isn't talking. If it is third person, you are not required to say "kupo" at the end of each sentence, however when your character talks, it is traditional for them to say kupo at some point in the sentence. This is not a rule, however, so don't worry.)

Members of this female-only race with hair of spun silver are often called People of the Wood or Wood People. Viera are lithe of limb and tremendously quick. Their slender bodies belie superior strength and masterful combat skill. Viera Jobs are:

2) No godmodding!!! This is your first warning already. You will receive only one more warning if we see any case of it. Bunnying, however, is different. If you bunny someone else's character with that person's permission, it's all good. If you bunny them WITHOUT that person's permission, then Xilfer123 and I will see it as godmodding.

3) No Mary Sues, Gary Stus, etc.

4) DO NOT ASK ME IF YOU CAN HAVE A SPECIAL JOB ALREADY TAKEN! PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU, DON'T DO IT!

5) This RP is rated T for Teen. It may involve romance, violence, and bad language. However, we do not want graphical romance (meaning keep it to kissing), gore, and/or continuous bad language.

15) In regards to having a character with more than one job, yes, that is possible in this RP. The only thing I ask is that you keep to keep it at three jobs max throughout the RP.

Jylland

The land this RP takes place in is named Jylland. Jylland is a region in Ivalice made up of two peninsulas and several islands, and is divided into five territories that span two continents, the Loar Continent to the west and the western half of the Ordalia Continent to the east. Within these territories are several locations such as battlefields and towns. The River Silennia flows east through Loar.

The Loar continent:

Targ Wood - Birdsong fills this peaceful forest. A small village stands among the watchful trees.

Camoa - Camoa is a famed gathering spot for adventurers. The countryside surrounding the city is a verdant patchwork of crops and pastureland.

Baptiste Hill - Green grasses cover the gently sloping hillside. A refreshing wind eases the burdens of passing travelers.

Graszton - This narrow stretch of land overlooks the sea of Ewohl and goods stream the busy port city of Graszton.

Bisga Greenlands - Thick vegetation grows across this broad plain. Many travelers pass along its extensive network of roads.

Aldanna Range - Rugged highland with row upon row of soaring peaks. Hardy mountain shrubs grow among its crags and cliffs.

Zedlei Forest - Warm light plays through the canopy of this beautiful forest. The Silennia river runs through the heart of the wood on its eastward journey to the sea.

Moorabella - The magick city of Moorabella and its aerodrome sit atop this high, forest-covered plateau.

Galerria Deep - Countless tunnels make up this vast underground cavern. It's known in some circles as the Pit of the Larva.

Rupie Mountains - Said to be raised in the age of myth, these mountains have a stark, captivating beauty.

Ruins of Delgantua - This sprawling ruin is thought to date back to the Galtean era. The lost arts of the time are evident throughout.

The Ordalia Continent:

Fluorgis - Quaint shops and age-old houses line the streets of Fluorgis. Beyond the city, ruins of once mighty fortresses stand watch over the wilderness.

Tramdine Fens - The sun shines wanly over this desolate swampland. A pervasive gloom falls on all who enter.

Sant D'alsa Bluff - This high bluff looks down on the sea crashing against the rocks far below. The region is geologically active and warm the year round.

Nazan Mines - This magicite mine has lain dormant for long years. Only creatures of the dark now crawl its passages.

Goug - This island rising from the Mirhelian Sea is home to the moogle city of Goug.

Neslowe Passage - A cave passing beneath the narrow sea once connected this volcanic island with the mainland.

Aisenfield - The legend of the Thirteen was born long ago on this sweeping plain that time forgot.

Kthili Sands - Waves of sand rise and fall in this barren waste. The scorching sun burns bright in the sky.

Name: Zellum Lacerti

Age: 40

Gender: Male

Race: Bangaa

Job: Master Monk (Former White Monk)

Side: Gully

Appearance: A red Bangaa that is six and a half feet tall is a rather intimidating sight, and guess what? That's what Zellum is, a red Bangaa that is six and a half feet tall with a lean body, the result from years upon years of training as a White Monk. Unlike the usual Bangaa however, which has green eyes full of fierceness and intensity, Zellum has blue eyes that appear soft and gentle. His ears are just a little shorter than the average Bangaa as well.

His uniform looks just like the usual Warrior Monk uniform, except that where the usual uniform is red, his is black, and where the usual uniform is green, his is white. The reason for this is because his old uniform was worn out from years of training, so he got a new one that reflects his belief in yin and yang. On his left hip is a ceramic jug full of sake that he has personally made himself. A small silver rope is looped around the neck of the jug and tied around his waist. When in battle, Zellum has a Templar Shield on both of his arms, due to him fighting with just his fists. The reason as to why he can weild shields is thanks to his brief training as a Warrior, which was required for him to become a Master Monk.

History: The life of a Bangaa isn't easy. Usually, a Bangaa is taught to fight to survive, to kill in order to live. This might seem barbaric, but that's the way life works for a Bangaa. When he was born until he was twelve, Zellum was taught the same thing, and he was proving to be a great warrior. However, he would always think he was for some higher calling, to protect more than to kill. So, when a traveling clan of monks passed through the town he resided in, he went with them, leaving every possesion of his and his family behind. At first, the monks didn't pay attention to him, believing him to be too thirsty for battle, and they were right. Zellum, wanting to become one of them, simply kept on traveling with them, learning what he could. Luckily for him, the monks would share their food and tents with him while he learned.

Three years... It took Zellum three years before the monks finally accepted him as one of their own. When he was accepted, he was placed under a fierce master and trained under him, learning what it really meant to be a monk. To serve the gods, to keep one calm, to keep oneself balanced... Yes, these were the ways, and Zellum learned them. When five more years passed, Zellum proved himself as a White Monk and was sent away from the group, having learned all that they could teach him. Thanking the monks, Zellum went on a journey for self-improvement, becoming stronger and smarter as he did. Things stayed this way for three more years, until Zellum crossed paths with the leader of Clan Gully, Cid.

Zellum remembers that day well... He was in Zedlei Forest, just passing through when he was suddenly ambushed by multiple Marlboro. He was able to fight many of them off, but they eventually overpowered him with their numbers. Having not lost hope, he still fought, until a clan began helping him, slaying the Marlboros one by one. Cid, being the fearsome warrior he is, had slain the majority of them. Upon seeing the heavily injured Zellum, Cid took the White Monk into his clan, where Zellum was soon healed back to full-strength. Believing himself to be in debt after such a good deed, Zellum asked to join the group, to which Cid agreed. So, Zellum became a member of Clan Gully, where he continued to learn and become stronger, having stayed devout to the ways of the monk... Except for the usual sip of sake.

That was seventeen years ago. Cid and several other members of the original clan have retired since then. Zellum, now a Master Monk, has thought about retiring, but has decided to stay in the game, since Clan Gully is starting to rise up again. He is also still on his journey of self-improvement too, hoping that he may find Enlightenment.

Personality: When thinking of the Bangaa, one usually thinks of brash, crude, and loud lizard people. That couldn't be farther from the truth for Zellum. He is kind, gentle, and usually quiet and is always ready to lend some advice, be it for battle or life. He is also extremely patient. When he is drunk, which doesn't happen often, he will become a little loud, but it is with pure joy, as evident when one hears him sing a song, despite however bad it sounds.

Zellum keeps that part of his personality in battle as well. While he doesn't wish harm upon his enemies, he will do what it takes to make sure his allies survive any battle. Gods help you if you heavily damage one of his comrades though. If that happens, expect no mercy. Now, if Zellum ever fights while drunk, be ready to have the most intense battle of your life, as he fights with a speed almost unrivaled when like this.

Appearance: In terms of appearance, Gaol isn't such a regular moogle. He's Albino, albino being completely white. Almost any living thing apart from plantlife can be albino. He was born with a white pom-pom, white wings and slightly paler skin than other Moogles. Despite all this, he is tall above average for a Moogle. He has a slight tuft of snow-white hair upon his head, which matches perfectly with his pale skin and the same-coloured pompom growing from it. His eyes, as with most albino, are red. Bright red, just dark enough so nobody will think they're pink. His ears are rather short, being only three forths their normal height. However, somehow this gives Gaol excelerated hearing. Gaol likes to keep his fur tidy, and so brushes it every now and then. The only place he cannot reach is the tip of his ears, so they remain as scruffy as ever. The rest of him would appear to be groomed every day.

Gaol wears the normal getup for a Bard. The wooden-like boots and the short, moogle-sized, brown baggypants, along with the light blue Bard shirt, however it has green buttons, pockets and lining, as opposed to the usual yellow. Over this he wears the short, formal vest that every Bard should have, with a blue bow tie under an absurdly large ruff. His arms are covered with long dark blue sleeves extenduing from the vest, all the way down to the wrist where they are folded to reveal the white underneath.

Unknown to the naked eye, however, under all this is concealed chain-mail, silver, glistening chan-mail. Under his light blue shirt, Gaol has a belt, with his Adamant Blade strapped to it. Over his right shoulder he has another strap, clearly holding his Shining Lute across his back.

History: Gaol was named after the hero Gaol from the book. He was born into a rich family, with a duke and duchess for parents. He was raised to be a Moogle Knight, like his father, and his father before him, and the whole lineage of Coppersun. However, the poor boy Gaol always wanted to be a Bard. He loved, enjoyed, and hade a passion for nothing but music, and wanted to be able to create some of his own brilliant tunes someday. His father, however, home-schooled him to be a Moogle Knight, he was trained in the ways of his father, but was never any good. For he lacked the enthusiasm. Instead, the training his father gave him only inspired him to develop his own style of fighting. He used absurd techniques, teaching himself to be nimble, quick but powerful. He bested his slow father many times over, and defeated the likes of Bangaa and Hume alike. Unfortunately, this was never enough for Gaol's father, and eventually he renounced him, and taught his brother, Zyle, the way of the Mog Knight.

Gaol was distraught. At the age of fourteen he'd been left to wander the streets. He'd been reduced from duke's heir to practically nobody. He had no parents, as far as anybody knew. Eventually he was taken in by a bunch of street rabble. kids of all sorts of ages and species. A group dedicated to surviving. Over the next five years, they got to know Gaol, and he taught them everything he knew of how to fight. Eventually they grew from a small rabble, to a band of thieves, to a gang in their small town. Their leader, of course, was Gaol.

By the time he'd become nineteen years old, Gaol had had enough of stealing and ravaging, he figured he'd made enough money to start a life. He bid adios to his rabble of thieves, bought his own home, and made a comfortable living. After a year, he grew bored and decided it was time to do what he'd always dreamed of: Make music.

The Moogle Knight got a job as a Bard in less than a year, everyone saw him as a prodigy. However, during the course of that year, Gaol had already decided that he wanted to use his newfound skills in a clan. He found Clan Gully, the famous clan which he had heard so much about, had started to investigate the recent shift in nature under a new leader. Gaol became obsessed with joining them. After countless asking and asking and asking, he finally caught up to them, and proved his worth to them.

He is a great warrior and an asset to the clan, able to aid his allies while flawlessely striking down his foes. And evades blows easily due to his small stature. He wields an Adamant Blade that he had stolen from a distant traveller-blacksmith who came into town. Along with that, he wields the beautiful Shining Lute he recieved as a gift from the guild of the Bard.

Personality: Gaol is a very social, interactive person. He has no problem making new friends, getting along with just about anyone easily. This leads to not having many enemies. He is also very graceful and peaceful. He always tries to stay optimistic, and is very nice to be around. His witty remarks will get him out of anything, and he is quite trained in verbal combat as well as physical. He can make just about anyone laugh, but he won't even try if he knows they don't have a sense of humor, as he hates getting embarrassed.

Gaol is competitive, very competitive, and always loves a challenge. He is confident and is always sure he can win, but he's not vain. He has a great sense of humor and doesn't get angry easily or often. Despite all this, when he does get angry, he gets very angry, and almost always attacks physically, unless he doesn't want to hurt that person.

Gaol isn't very sensitive, and isn't very sympathetic either, but he is compassionate. He will aid his allies in battle and outside of battle whenever he can, in fact, he takes pleasure in it.

Gaol is a Moogle and he is proud, he does not get angry often, and he is not sensititve, but if someone spits on the name of Moogle, that's when they light the fuse. He has no pride in his heritage, name or even his fighting capability, but he has pride in his status as a Moogle.

Appearance:

Florence looks like most Grias, as she adorns the signature pointed ears, wings, tail and horns that most Gria wear proudly. She's not exceptionally tall, probably a little shorter than the average hume and keeps her body well in shape, fit for any battle. Her eyes are a dark brown and her fiery red hair is parted to the right and long at the back, tied off usually in a ponytail (though this sometimes varies). To any hume, she probably looks quite cute but her temper has been known to get the best of her at times.

She's usually armed with the high class sword, Estrella, and a Reverie Shield, which she spent years gathering the items needed and saving up the Gil for it. Her clothes are usually suited for a Raptor class, which means she's not wearing a whole lot of heavy clothes (or much clothes at all). They include a bikini and tight fitting undershirt, which is a dark grey in colour, a protective red and blue vest and a pair of brown gloves. Below her torso are traditional Gria pants, which are belted, dark blue in colour and cut off just below her knees. Her shoes are a protective pair of boots, brown in colour, fit with socks underneath. She also wears accessories to keep herself safe from magic and attacks, including a ring on her bicep, a pair of silver charmed sleeper earings and studs and a ring on her leg.

History:

Florence was born in Fluorgis to a loving Gria mother with two, younger twin hume half-brothers. She knew naught much of her father, only that he was a hume and was some kind of leader of a famous Guild, or so her mother told her. She spent a great deal of her childhood helping her mother take care of her brothers as financially, they weren't doing so well. Florence's mother worked in a tavern then finally joined a clan, often being away for months at a time. So, it was up to the young Florence to take care of Edward and Andrew. At first, she had no idea what she was doing and how she would get food. At once point, infact, a group of bandits passed through the town. Being only 10 years old and trying to protect her 7 year old siblings, she could do nothing when the bandits turned to them for Gil and jewels. She was saved in the nick of time though, by a few members from a clan passing by. They took them to their guild safehouse and took care of them until Florence's mother returned. From then on, these clan members inspired Florence to toughen up, join a clan and protect the innocent, just like those members had done for her.

She had her mother train her whenever she could, so that she could defend herself if the problem was to arise again. She was quite determined to become a respectable fighter, training by herself when her mother was away on quests. Indeed, when she turned 15, she was able to fend off a pair of hellhounds with ease. At this point, her mother had retired from her clan and returned to work at the tavern, now having time to look after Edward and Andrew (though, they were old enough now to look after themselves). Florence took this time to move on. She wanted to pursue her dream in becoming part of a clan. That didn't take long at all, as a small guild called Clan Don accepted her and took her on several missions. Though not all were successful, Florence always did the best she possibly could and made sure there were never any casualties. Though, with each passing quest, her rate of failure became smaller and smaller.

After five years with Clan Don, she decided she needed to move onto bigger things. That's when she found Clan Gully, a clan she had heard much about. Their name was known far and wide about their defeat of the evil Khamja and Neukhia about a decade ago. At that time, Cid was still Leader and the team was known to take on a variety of missions, several units out at once helping all kinds of people. When Florence initially approached Cid, she was declined a spot and was told come back when she had more experience. Not taking no for an answer, she challenged Cid to a fight, which he accepted with a laugh. Though she lost miserably, she kept her ground the entire time, never giving up or backing away. Cid commended her for her diligence, her persistence and her never-give-up attitude and offered Florence a place among Clan Gully, which Florence hastily accepted.

Florence has been in Clan Gully for a good eight years now, now at the top of her game and one of the best Raptors around. She's an asset to any mission always does the very best she can to complete the mission. Though she does have the odd failure now and again, she always makes sure that the targets she is defending are safe and sound and her team members are never in mortal danger. And now the leader of Clan Gully, she takes this more seriously than ever.

Personality:

Florence is a no nonsense kind of Gria. She's quite blunt and doesn't like to sugar coat the truth. She tends to get angry quite suddenly or without warning, throwing off her cute demeanour. If you're being annoying or doing something stupid, she'll make sure you know about it. If you're her subordinate, she'll demand at least some kind of respect. If you treat her like a kid or underestimate her, she'll give you a mouthing and make sure her place is known. In saying that, she knows when you've made an honest mistake and knows how to give second chances; she herself had to get one to become a part of the clan in the first place. She's quite firm, but fair.

She's a fairly bright Gria, she knows tactics and how to get around the battlefield with strategy. Though if she does go into plan with a strategy or two, she can get snappy and crack under pressure if her plan(s) don't go according to plan. She can improvise, but it can get sloppy sometimes and mainly involves her putting herself at risk. This rarely ever happens though, as her plans are usually well thought out and she goes into battle having at least two ways of attacking the enemy. She never underestimates anyone, and hopes her foes doesn't make the mistake of underestimating her; she enjoys battles that challenges her wits.

Appearance: Kupeeri is average height for a moogle. He is very skinny, and not very muscular either. His fur is a pristine white, and he keeps it very well groomed. Unlike most other moogles, his pom-pom is blue, not red, as are his wings. His ears are a tad bit longer than most moogles, and he keeps them just as well groomed as the rest of his fur, yet how he reaches all the way to the top is a mystery. His eyes are a deep blue color, with a slightly sarcastic look to them. He generally is not smiling, instead, keeping a scowl on his face.

His clothing matchs the rest of him, neat, tidy, and organized. His Black Mage robes are precisely the right size for him, neither too long, nor too short. There are no rips or tears in them. His shoes are well polished, and shine like no tomorrow. As for the hat, he refuses to wear one. He hates the way it looks on his head. He is armed with a Thor's Rod, as he is still mastering the mighty Thundaga, the last spell he can learn. His robe's are Sage's Robes, though he has mastered the arts of Geomancy. He has nothing better to wear, and he likes the way the robe fits him. On his finger is a Fortune Ring, which protects him from many status efects (If that's still what it does.). On his feet, he keeps a pair of Dash Boots, just so that he can keep up with his taller allies.

History: Kupeeri was born in Tarq Woods. He was raised by a Hume White Mage that happened to be living their as well. It was clear from the beginning that Kupeeri was skilled in magic, and the Hume knew it. He taught Kupeeri everything he knew about magic, though it was of little use to the moogle. Kupeeri soon was sent to Moorabella to learn more in depth magically abilities. He trained at the mage city for many years, gaining a reputation as a quick study, but soon grew bored when it was clear he was more talented than his tutors. So, at the age of fourteen, he set out on his own to teach himself more magic. He wandered the land, chasing after rumors of lost relics. And, more times than not, he found them. To survive, he would offer his magical services to those that would pay for it, considering he had no friends or family to support him, as his adoptive father had died long ago.

However, artifacts weren't the only thing he found. He also found trouble, and a great deal of it. At such times when he got himself into trouble that he couldn't get out of, he would put up a request for a clan to aid him. One such clan was Clan Gully. The new clan has come out and helped him rather a lot, and he surprisingly found himself longing for the fellowship and companionship they showed. He had spent far too long in isolation. He felt it was time to rejoin the world instead of chasing off after lost treasures. So, after he got back from his latest journey, he found Clan Gully and joined them.

Personality: Kupeeri is in a word, tidy. He always has to keep things neat, pristine, and organized. Always. And not just his things. Anyone else that he views as dirty or disorganized he automatically has to fix. He has to. Something compells him to keep everything clean and neat. Though, he will never tell anyone why he feels this way. He doesn't even know himself. And when things are up to his exacting standards, he's a very friendly moogle. Though, he'll always be distracted be even a piece of dust on the table or a hair out of place.

However, given his odd obsession with cleaning, he's a generally nice guy. Even though he may annoy people with his oddities. He'll stop at nothing to protect the people he cares for, except getting himself filthy. That one he isn't sure which would be worse to him. On the battlefield, he's all about buisiness. He does what's asked of him, seeing as how he's both a support mage and a damage mage, he feels he is invaluable to the clan. He doesn't want to lose his new found friends.

Kupeeri, when confronted with something dirty, goes into an odd state. He gets highly agitated, and will become very pushy, especially if denied being able to clean said item. And if he does try, and finds he can't get it perfectly, he gets angry and frustrated. He becomes very irrate, yelling and screaming like a child who didn't get his way. However, even in anger, he would never do anything that might injure his new friends.

Appearance: Torgaz stands at a height of roughly five-and-a-half feet, with amber eyes that can register minor details and black hair that is kept neck-length in the back and on the sides. He wears a Gold Hairpin that keeps his bangs out of his face. His skin is a light shade of brown, with several scars on his forearms and hands. He has, thus far, never been able to grow any facial hair. Physical-wise, Torgaz is wiry and built more for offense and speed, which is often reflected in his personal strategy.

Torgaz wears the usual parivir uniform, with a smoke-grey variation of the shirt, and a set of Ninja Gear, also smoke-grey in color, underneath. He carries a Sumihomura as his weapon and would likely throw a fit or something if it were to be stolen, as he inherited it from his father. Torgaz wears a pair of Brigand's Gloves and a Ruby Earring, which hangs from his right ear. He carries no shield.

History:

Torgaz Zheitk grew up in a family that was at the head of one of the better clans, Hayabusa, of the eastern realms beyond Jylland. He was the fifth of seven brothers and sisters; though he was often overlooked, Torgaz was expected to do his part of the work and do it well. Throughout his childhood, Torgaz was homeschooled and tested to see what area he'd be best in. He showed some promise in the areas of magic and just as much, if not more, in the areas of melee combat and thieving skills.
It was during the months leading up to his fourteenth birthday that Hayabusa began to receive news of one Clan Gully based in Jylland. Over the years afterwards, as he heard more and more of Clan Gully, Torgaz wanted more and more to be a part of that fame. After all, during his childhood and teenage years, there was nothing that really challenged the Falcons anymore.

After an argument among adults (which he didn't understand at the time), Torgaz became an apprentice White Mage at the age of fourteen. It became apparent after several months, though, that he wasn't committing himself to it, instead being more interested in combat magic. After several months of being a Black Mage, Torgaz had lost his interest in that, as well (though he did learn a useful passive skill during that time). When his father learned from Torgaz's teachers that the boy, now nearing the age of sixteen, simply was not the mage-type, Torgaz was pushed into his other areas of talent - melee combat and thieving skills. He flourished in these areas, growing to be adept at one-on-one combat and stealing valuable accessories from enemies.

At the age of eighteen, mainly as a Thief, Torgaz was allowed to go on his first mission. His job was to steal what he could from the opponents during the battle. The mission was a success, but Torgaz felt that stealing wasn't enough for him - he wanted to fight. After asking and pleading and arguing with his father, Torgaz was granted his wish after he threatened to renounce his family and clan. At the age of twenty, he began his training as a Parivir, one of the jobs that Hayabusa specialized in. The passive skill he'd learned as a Black Mage was now a real benefit to Torgaz, who continued as a Parivir for four more years, with some thieving on the side.

When he was twenty-four years old, Torgaz was thrust into the middle of a new feud between Hayabusa and a rival clan, Clan Taka, that insulted and challenged his clan and, specifically, his family name. This feud was mostly fought out through battles for the next few months...then a member of Clan Taka assassinated Torgaz's father and oldest brother, leaving the second-oldest brother as Hayabusa's leader and only Torgaz in reserve if the leadership was to stay in the Zheitk family. From his father's inheritance, Torgaz received the Sumihomura katana he now wields and a somewhat small portion of his father's personal wealth.

Torgaz wanted revenge, and he did not want to wait for the chance. He became reckless in battle against members of Taka, more often going on the offensive when he should have stayed defensive. After several battles such as this, a few assassination attempts, and some years, Torgaz's remaining brother sent him to Jylland, as much to protect him from further attempts on his life as to keep him from becoming too reckless in the feud against Taka. Once in Jylland, at the age of twenty-eight, Torgaz found and joined a Judge-less clan to avoid becoming a lazy sit-around.

For the next four years, Torgaz stayed with this clan and, with some various deeds, made it more notable. He left, though, after a mission during which he was Charmed and nearly killed one of his clanmates. The main thing that stopped him was an arrow to each of his arms. Torgaz bought a Ruby Earring from the bazaar in the following weeks. He remained a loner in Jylland from that time to when Clan Gully rose from retirement. From what he could see, they needed a few more members. Torgaz had nothing better to do in Jylland, and he hadn't received any word that he could return to his homeland.
Torgaz asked to be a member of Clan Gully, proved himself, and was accepted into the clan.


Personality: One of Torgaz Zheitk's main traits is his recklessness in battle, developed in part during the last several years. Torgaz now constantly favors an offensive approach with little regard for his personal safety, which has gotten him into trouble in the recent past. He feels that one only prolongs one's defeat by continuous defense and that the sooner you strike, the better. The parivir's general strategy of striking hard and fast appeals to Torgaz.

Another trait of Torgaz's is his short temper in combat. Having to be on the defensive is one thing that will certainly get him simmering; taking his time about bringing down his opponent is another. Torgaz is also short-tempered if he can't defeat an opponent in just a few minutes and more so if he's defeated in battle. He doesn't like to lose. What he'll be especially angry about is unfairness. Torgaz believes that everyone should fight fairly and, after the deaths of his father and oldest brother, have a chance to fight.

Recklessness and short temper aside, Torgaz strives to be as honest as possible at all times, and he deals fairly with his friends and clanmates. He tends to be more calm outside of battle. Torgaz can usually be found doing something or other, as long as he feels it's productive. If he was taught anything in his childhood, it was that lazy sit-arounds never last long.

Appearance: Eos looks like most Viera, save for one difference: Her ears are floppy rather than straight and make her look more like the daughter of a Nu Mou and a Viera. She's as tall as the average Viera, however, and has the same tan-brown skin. Her eyes are a crimson red and her hair silver white, albeit some black streaks on the tips (dyed by Eos herself).

Eos's weapon of choice? Greatbows. Her favorite greatbow in specific is the Hades Bow, a Dark-elemental greatbow that Eos inherited from her late parents. Her uniform is also the typical Assassin style, but it is pitch black. Eos got it colored that way believing she would be able to blend into her surroundings better at night and thus becoming invincible. She had originally planned to have it colored a greenish color to hide in forests during the day, but decided against such.

History: Eos grew up in Moorabella with her parents and two older sisters. She was named by her mother, who thought a contradicting name would be fun ("Eos" means "dawn" whereas "Nyx" means "night"). Though Eos grew up innocent and carefree, she had no idea what sorts of "activities" her parents always seemed to be involved in. They would leave in the morning and not return until late night or later. Eos seldom saw her parents, but when she did, she noticed wounds that couldn't have just been simple accidents.

One day, curiosity got the better of Eos, so she followed her parents. As a result, Eos learned that her parents were mercenaries, taking on jobs for money.

Personality: Turn away from this section now if you were hoping for a bubbly, sane personality. Eos is neither. She has a huge aversion to practically all other races (including hers), and she will not flinch if she manages to kill anyone. Instead, Eos will smile whenever she watches someone die before her very eyes. Unless the person's another member of Nex Malum. Because they took her in as one of their own, Eos cares for them as if they were her true family, and so she would be devastated to find them dead on the ground. Eos also cares greatly for Chocobos, her reasoning explained earlier. Do not kill a Chocobo or eat Chocobo meat in front of Eos, ever. Your remains will never be found.

Besides her aversion to most species and love of Chocobos, Eos likes reading stories about knights and dragons. No, not stories regarding saving the princess and the village from fire-breathing dragons. She likes stories where the dragons burn the knights to ashes or swallow them whole. She has always liked dragons since she was young, and her love of them has yet to wane. Eos also enjoys being an assassin with a greatbow, and will not hold back. Did I mention she is a few cards short of a full deck? As for dislikes, Eos is not a fan of "girlish" things, though she does not mind skirts as much because they are easy to move around in. But begin talking to her about some "dreamy" male idol and she will either begin walking away from you or she will shoot an arrow at your face . Oh, and do not insult Eos in any way or form as she has a greatbow and will shoot you as many times as possible until she is 200% certain you are going to die.

History: Errion was raised by 2 master arcanists.His parents always lead their clan when some pirates want to invade their place.He also wants to defend their city so he decided to train early at the age of 10.His parents stood as his trainers.Errion pursued hard and when he turned 18,his parents let him join the battle.With his help,they always defend their city and celebrates.

It was midnight when some troops from far west invaded their city.It was a surprise battle and his parents tried to defend but they were defeated.Errion escaped and promised to revenge for his parents.He went into the wilds and trained himself there.He defeated many enemies but he thought his power was not enough.

While walking,he saw a giant ogre running towards him.He thought it was just a ordinary ogre so he went battling it.After some minutes,Errion was out of energy but the ogre is fully alive.When the ogre was about to attack him,a Human quickly slashed the enemy and at last,Errion was saved!He thanked him and the Human asked him to join their clan.Errion had no other choice and decided to join Clan Gully.

Appearance:

Corth is a brown bangaa sporting a height slightly higher than that of the average hume. Corth believes in keeping the blood of his enemies as trophies and so while he will bathe himself he will never clean his equipment, save his sword. Corth goes into battle like all gladiators do, whi no shirt, a brown helmet, brown gauntlets, brown leather shorts, and brown greaves. He also carries with him his trusty blade and his lucky round shield he has used ever since his warrior training.

History:

Corth was raised on the streets ever since he was born. With his family in desperate need of money Corth would use his special knack of intimidation to scare the living daylights out of higher class kids who happened to stray too close near the alleys. It was only after a few "conversations" with his prey when he was approached by one of the members of a street gang who offered Corth great wealth if he would help the gang with "reminding" clients of overdue loans. Corth eagerly agreed and during his time on the streets he learned a powerful lesson, to stay loyal to the guys who had power.

He had only spent two years in his new line of work when a rival gang began to weed out the competition, which fortunately included Corth's. I say fortunately here based on the fact that Corth realized that his new gang held more power than the one he was currently aligned with and in soon-to-be classic Corth fashion he abandoned his "client" to seek employment where there was more power, and of course more money.

Years passed and Corth eventually matured, and from all of the power swapping that had happened in his neighborhood he had gained a 'sense' to spot individuals with great power. It was this sense that happened to tune him to a nu mou that just happened to pass by him one day. Corth followed him to the Nex Malum headquarters into which the man disappeared. Corth, of course, demanded entry. When the two guards attempted to stop him, he bashed their skulls in. The nu mou he had followed was slightly impressed with the ruthlessness that Corth demonstrated and when he appeared before Corth the bangaa wasted no time in pledging his loyalty to him. The nu mou simply smiled and ordered him to rip off one of the guard's arms. He gladly did. Intrigued by the bangaa the nu mou offered him a spot in Nex Malum which Corth accepted in two seconds flat.

Personality:

Corth is considered a very obedient ally. As long as Corth is working for someone who holds all the power he will not cause trouble and will do anything his "client" asks of him. Of course if his "client" is no longer the most powerful individual in the room Corth will waste no time in backstabbing whoever he has pledged his loyalty to, will renounce any oath or promise he has made to his former employer and will go on to pledge his loyalty to his new "client".

Appearance: An ogre of a man, Barrowfort at full height stands 7’, with broad shoulders and a muscular build. His chestnut hair, capable of falling down between his shoulder blades if let loose, is kept neatly tucked around his head and neck within his Solder hood, insolating his flesh from the cold of Moorabella, though it can be unbearably hot in warmer climates. When not wearing the hood, his hair is restrained in a ponytail. Barrowfort’s face is that of a veteran, with a hideous scar on the left side of his face, across the cheek. Ice-blue eyes glare out from under a furrowed brow and a pair of bushy eyebrows. A demonic Hanya Mask often covers the opening of the Solder hood, hiding the man’s face and adding to the intimidation factor.

The Soldier’s uniform is darker blue with a standard red cape and mostly unmodified, though Barrowfort goes without the hood in hot climates, for obvious reasons. The cap of the hood hangs back between his shoulder blades, in this case. Below the armor and uniform, Barrowfort’s body bears numerous additional scars from his training. At his side is a Vitanova sword in its scabbard, which Barrowfort wields in his left hand, and upon his right arm is the daunting glare of an Aegis Shield. A gauntlet protects each of Barrowfort’s forearms.

History: Born in Moorabella to a pair of hume mages, Barrowfort grew up with pressure to study and learn magick. While he did have natural talent for it, Barrowfort never took an interest in the arcane arts. During days when he could get out of the house, Barrowfort would go into the snowy outskirts of the city with a group of other boys whose heads were filled with fairy tales and heroic legends. Together they would chase after Cockatrices with large sticks, either practicing magic or combat. Once the boys’ overprotective and disapproving parents discovered the trips, the young adventurers-to-be were rounded up and kept under strict watch. Barrowfort’s training was mostly focused on White Magick, with some Black Magick study on the side- for though he showed talent for it, his overprotective parents would not allow him to study the dangerous art of Blue Magick- Once he was old enough to move out, of course, the rash youth abandoned his studies and left his home against his parents’ wishes.

From Moorabella, a young Barrowfort traveled with a caravan to Camoa, where he planned to learn the art of the sword. Once there, it proved far more difficult to gain an apprenticeship than suspected. Eventually Barrowfort found a Parivir mercenary, passing through the city, who was looking for a student to teach his skills. Though the boy trained hard, and had some natural talent in each, he proved unable to combine magick and swordplay. The Parivir dropped Barrowfort off in Graszton after the apprenticeship failed, and left. In the new city, Barrowfort did his best to find a job, but to no avail. Eventually the wannabe adventurer was forced to join up with a gang of poachers, who allowed him to test his skill with Blue Magic. Unbeknownst to Barrowfort, this group was a smaller faction ultimately controlled by the larger Khamja.

Barrowfort’s determination, loyalty, and swordsmanship with a saber eventually caught the eye of the group leader who was a part of Khamja. Offered a chance to receive special training and move up in the world, Barrowfort immediately agreed. The prospective Blue Mage was placed in an arena with four others to fight monsters and learn their abilities. To toughen them up, the trainees were given nothing to defend themselves except for the abilities they learned therein. The entire time a Beastmaster would command the monsters, so as to make sure the mages were hit with abilities they could learn. During this time Barrowfort received many of his scars, including the one on his cheek- a memento from the Deathscythe the Blue Mages fought. Intensive training continued for three months, until the recruits had learned all they could. With training over, each of them was assigned to a different squad, and learned secondary jobs to suit whatever roles were needed.

Nineteen at the time, Barrowfort had only just started to get into his new role in the organization when Clan Gully brought about Khamja’s downfall. The organization more or less dissolved, and Barrowfort was alone once again. After things settled, the Soldier started doing mercenary work on his own. This carried on for several years, until Barrowfort happened to meet the leader of the old poaching group while on a quest. The Hunter, still with the now rebuilding Khamja, offered Barrowfort reemployment. The Soldier of course accepted- after finishing the job he had come to the are to do- and became part of the Nex Malum faction. After a test to assess his skills, Barrowfort was assigned to a new squad- this one.

Personality: Barrowfort’s key defining characteristics are his loyalty and stoic determination. The Soldier does not have any moral dilemmas over killing or breaking the law, as long as it serves the goal. All the same, when it would be detrimental to long-term goals, Barrowfort will avoid it if at all possible. A shrewd tactician due to his forced studies early on in life, he is not one of the warriors who run headlong into battle, preferring to plan and prepare beforehand. While respectful and obedient to superiors, Barrowfort will not hesitate to bluntly point out the flaws in any idea or scheme- and then go along with it anyways when they won’t listen.

Name: Luther Luna

Age: 37

Side: Nex Malum

Appearance: Luther has many scars strewn across his body. Mainly from the various fights he's been in. And he's been in a lot of fights. There is one scar in particular, although heavily covered by clothes, that may peak the interest of one's eyes. He has a heavily guarded scar on his left leg. It is shaped like a sword with various diverse markings upon it. It looks both elegant and painful at first sight. The Bangaa guards it under three layers of bandages, and his uniform. He wants nobody to see it.
He wears the standard uniform for a Trickster: white vest with folded sleeves coupled with the purple scarf, plus the knickerbockers with the funny symbol on them, almost like a Ninja's throwing star. His footwear is all but extraordinary, but he refuses to wear goggles. Says it distracts his razor sharp eyesight. His eyes are a piercing blue, and he has quite a muscular build, not to mention his tail is a little curled at the tip. A minor birth deformity.

Luther stands at a great 6 "8". While not the largest stature, it is certainly not the most regular either. However, he is not a brute. He is much the opposite. Despite his size and strength, he prefers to steer clear of fights.


History: Luther Luna's transition from honorable Templar to cretin Trickster is quite fascinating to say the least. Born into a small streetear family, Luther's childhood was quite uneventful. Luther had always been torn by desire. One minute he wanted one thing, the next another. Finally, the day came when his goal was set: to become an honorable Templar Knight. After failing to become one at first, the twenty-three year old Bangaa set out on a journey of self-discovery. After his return to his hometown, he was a full-merited Templar Knight. Shortly after his prideful arrival at his home, he was asked to join Clan Silpher. This was a great honor-Clan Silpher was a great clan, and a main rival of the great Clan Gully. Luther accepted the invitation with enthusiasm, and stayed working with this clan for the next three years. After that-something terrible happened.

Luther and Clan Silpher had been asked to bring down a great monster by the name of Klork. Apparently, a mad Alchemist had used one of his growing serums to create a giant Antlion. The Antlion had been stalking the Khitli Sands ever since, and had been named Klork. It was a coup. A villainous Clan by the name of Clan Kroft had created Klork, and with its help they totally eliminated Clan Silpher, only its leader and the current second in command-Luther Luna-were taken hostage by the clan. A mark was burned on them. The leader-a Hume by the name of Cole-struggled and was murdered, leaving only Luther. Not wanting to suffer the same fate as his partner, Luther indured the pain of the burning metal as it touched his yellow skin. A strange sword mark was imprinted on him, and then he was left to rot in the streets of Fluorgis. Fluorgis was a very polluted city, because of the Aerodome, so Luther had trouble surviving in the harsh environment of street life. Soon, he became involved with gambling in an effort to gain money, this lead to necessary lying, cheating, fighting. Which soon twisted Luther Luna's view of the world. In just three years, he had become a lying, cheating, cretin.

Soon he joined the ranks of a gang. They were named The Fluorgis Wave. Luther soon murdered their leader and took control of the gang. He led them to become a feared gang, and learned the ways of the Trickster, changing his attire and everything. Until finally, one day, Luther was contacted by a member of Nex Malum, who were looking for powerful squad members. They'd just re-risen. Promised wealth and power beyond imagination; Luther left for Nex Malum. His gang did not want him to go, however, and tried to stop him. He killed them all. Now in Nex Malum, Luther is more powerful than ever.

Personality: Luther Luna is an extremely deceitful, unkind person. He is in almost every sense: a cretin. He is a liar, a thief, a murderer and many more things. He does not give anything, he simply takes it. He does not ask, he just does. Nobody can stop him doing what he wants. He has a great knowledge of people: the way they behave and react, and so he is very convincing. Only those who know him all too well can escape his oh-so convincing lies. Luther craves money. Over all things, he craves money. He would kill someone for a quarter, and kill a hundred people for one gil. He steals from just about everyone anywhere, and takes every opportunity he gets to take someone's purse. Luther is also a traitor, he would betray anyone, even if he'd known that person forever. Another thing Luther craves is power. He loves the thought of ruling over people. Towering over them. But he's mostly a coward, and despite his size and strength, loves to avoid a battle.

I think thinking 6 days and writing 1 hour was a bad idea. Anyways, this is my "masterpiece". *avoids tomatoes*


Name: George McCollum

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: Hume

Job: Paladin/White Mage

Side: Gully

Appearance: George's appearance is quite different than other Paladins. He wears a Platinum Helm instead and has a Platinum Mail on top of his coat. He has a sword he calls "Baptism" which is actually "Save the Queen". A name, Lucas McCollum, is engraved on the sword. George has a shield on his left hand. He also has a healing staff just in case somebody needs healing.

George is 5'8 feet tall. His skin is tanned white, his eyes are stormy gray. His hair is spiky short and blonde. He has a scar on his arm because of an accident during his sparring practice with his clan mates.

History: George’s story starts 20 years before FFTA3. In the outskirts a peaceful town of Camoa, a man with a white coat and hood was talking with 2 other people like him. Their faces were grim and full of weariness. The man was tanned white with brown hair and gray eyes. His companion, a woman, was bleached white with long blonde hair and icy blue eyes. The other person had brown hair and a scar across his eye. Soon, the fourth person came, breathing heavily and holding a bag full of potions and phoenix downs. He had red eyes full of regret and anger. His hands were red, probably soaked with blood. The man impatiently hit the stone floor with his staff and began screaming at the latecomer. It seemed like time had stopped when his first word came out. The man then turned and walked away from his companions. The other three nodded to each other and followed the angry man. The gentle sound of a wind. Trees bending towards the mountains. So peaceful. But would peace be with 4 fugitives, who were running away from everybody just because they had an important artifact of ancient times and killed a man because of it?

The 4 were being chased by different clans and were wanted in public. 3 years they were chased and the guilds never gave up searching for them. Not until they found the quartet in Baptiste Hill.

The 4 were going through the boulder passage. They didn’t want to be detected by other travelers, so they decided to go through the mountain passage to get to Zedlei forest, where they could try to hide themselves and finally have a rest there. That was their plan. Until it was crumbled into pieces. A man was leading the group, a woman with a baby in her hands following close by. The second man was behind them, but the third one was nowhere to be seen, probably scouting ahead for dangers and ambushes. The rocky path was hard and tiring, but the fugitives didn’t care about it. Raindrops were pouring down, hardening the path even more. They wanted to get rid of the artifact. No other person should suffer because of this thing. The man slowly took his bag and opened it. He took a pile of towels and slowly opened. There right in front of him was a black tiger. Its pelt was grayish black, its striped were black like darkness. The man remembered how he had to kill the man. He was innocent. He had nothing to do with this. But he died. Just because of—

Then suddenly an ear-piercing cry came. A man was tumbling down the passage. He was wearing an identical white coat and a hood. Then he fell right in front of the group. “Jason!” – the leader of the group cried after shoving the artifact back to his bag - “No…”. The man took off his hood and threw his coat. There stood a Paladin, his holy armor dirty and worn out, but shining. On one hand he held a crystal sword and on his other hand was a bright shield. “Jason… Let me ease your pain a bit.” Suddenly the man’s hands started to glow. He breathed in deeply. Then, a ray of light came from his sword and went inside the body of the weathered man. A second of silence passed, and Jason opened his eyes. “Hey, brother. Glad you helped me.” He stood up, taking out a staff.

“A group of men, wearing masks and black outfits ambushed me. They’re gonna get you soon enough. We should run, brother. We won’t be able to beat them.” Then at the other side of the road came out 5 people with masks and ninja-like outfits. They all had sharp katanas, ready to slice the travelers. “They’re going to pay for this. For Ivalice!” And the man charged at the men. No movement came from the man’s enemies. When the distance was about 5 feet between them, then they suddenly disappeared, confusing the man. “Chris, roll away from there!” – came out the cry from behind. The man rolled just in time to see hundreds of blades falling at the place he should have been. “Close call. Nadia! Get out of here! Take others with you and don’t come back.”

“NO! Don’t leave me! We still have to name the baby-“
“Stop! The baby’s useless if you won’t survive!” – Chris said. He knew that he will have to stall some time for others to run away. Then he added: “They’re after me. Don’t worry. I’ll come back.” Then the man held up his shield, guarding himself from a blade.
“Wait, brother! Let me-“ – Jason’s yell was interrupted by a gunshot. He stopped, then suddenly fell face first into the mud. Blood was tickling from his chest. The man dropped his staff, which rolled away from him until it felt into the crevice far in the right.
“Jason! They’ll die today. By my sword!” Chris dashed forward with anger, unaware of a moogle standing right up on the peak of the riff, aiming for Chris’s chest. Then a gunshot sounded again. The bulled passed fast through the rain and dug into the Paladin’s arm. Chris staggered from the blow. He felt a tremendous amount of pain on his arm. He turned around, staring at Nadia’s cold eyes. Then he muttered: “By the way… Name our baby George… Now, go.” Then he took his bag pack and threw into the crevice. Then he rushed forward into the growing mist and was never seen again.


Nadia returned to Camoa safely with Blake, the other paladin. There she separated with Blake, who insisted on staying with her, but agreed after being convinced by Nadia to leave her alone in peace. After that, she went further deeper into the woods until she collapsed because of lack of sleep and hunger. Fortunately, a couple of Humes found her and took her in with the baby. 3 days later, mysteriously, Nadia disappeared, but left some armor, a sword, a staff and a letter, telling them to keep George with them. The letter also asked them to raise him into a Holy Paladin and never let him fall into the hands of evil. They raised the child as their own for 10 years until they heard of a newly formed legendary Clan Gully. They took the child and asked one of the members to take him in. After some convincing, the Clan finally took him in. The young George studied basic arts of healing and fighting from the clan members and soon knew how to cure and how to handle a sword. Now, he was a Paladin, ready to back his clan mates up and do good deeds for residents of Ivalice. He wanted to make a better life for others. He wanted to stop Nex Malum and it’s evil plans.

Personality: George is a peace-loving human. He wants to achieve peace for the sake of others. He doesn’t like fighting, but for his “ultimate” goal, he would fight and help his clan mates whenever they nee help. Also, George likes to whack his clan mates’ heads with his staff whenever he thinks he needs to put them back into sense. George likes jokes, but doesn’t like it when somebody pulls pranks at others.

George likes working in groups and hates working on his own. He likes company and friends. But sometimes, he can become a little bit rude when he’s angered. George is also quite confident in himself. He’s optimistic and never loses hope in danger. But sometimes he can be a coward if he’s fighting alone.

Likes: Jokes, groups, backing up, hitting everybody with his staff, learning more white magic
Dislikes: Pranks, ambushes, solo works, lamb meat, raisins

@Everyone: I and Game Over have decided to add a new NPC Character to Clan Gully. Since nobody has joined it as some type of healer character yet, Game Over and I will share this Alchemist Nu Mou character as the healer of the clan. Unless someone else wants to make a healer character by Monday, which is when the RP starts.

@Spellsun: Your SU is nice. I think your character will make a nice addition to Nex Malum. Never heard of combining great size with cowardly tactics. Man, you are quite unorthodox my friend. Accepted

They both deal in a monster infestation, a Marlboro infestation in Zedlei Forest, or a Vampire infestation at the Ruins of Delgantua.

@ MEMBERS OF NEX MALUM: A simple introductory post along with your character showing up at the Council Chambers of Nex Malum for orders. Your character's opinion on the leader of the Nex Malum Elders (The Nu Mou Sage, who will simply be referred to as "Master" for now) is also something that could be mentioned or talked about.

@ EVERYONE: Once the IC Thread is up, get to posting and have fun! :)

She has a tribal tattoo depicting a dragon on her right arm from her elbow to her shoulder. Her uniform is black, but still the classic Ravager style. She’s about 5’8”, making her a tad taller than most Gria. She’s very athletic


History: Shadow had been a loner before Gully, abandoned by her mother.She was considered an unwanted burden to her mother, hence the abandonment. She fought to stay alive, slaying countless beings in order to secure a safe place to sleep for a night, or to get food and drink. She became much more self-confident in Gully, often times being a jokester when her team mates were feeling sad. She has a surpisingly soft heart once you get past the prickly, cold, heartless exterior.

Personality: Shadow is quiet, not speaking often. When she does, she speaks with great calm and clarity. She is generally a very easy-going girl. Her temper becomes apparent when she’s on the battle field. She has a very competitive spirit, as is inherent of the Gria race. She loves to run and can run for hours without tiring.

@ Garet: In the games, Vampires usually have some really good loot on them once you exorcise them.

@ EVERYONE: So, I've been wondering what moves everyone knows, so here's what I propose: How about we show the abilities our characters know? Here's Zellum Lacerti's abilities...

Action: Martial Arts - Pummel, Dark Fist, Holy Strike, Inner Focus, Cross-Counter (Master Monk abilities)
Action: Discipline - Roundhouse, Air Render, Earth Render, Aurablast, Revive, Exorcise, Holy Sign (White Monk abilities)
Reaction: Blink Counter (Master Monk ability)
Support: Shieldbearer (Warrior ability)

Have them looking like that please. For a list of jobs (just click on the links at the bottom of the pics for abilities) click here. This way, Xilfer and I will be able to better understand your character's strengths and weaknesses. Remember, no Scions or Ultima abilities. Xilfer and I will decide when those become available.

Revision. Here is my SU. I hope it's a bit better than the last.

She has been called “Cute” and “Adorable” by many people. Mostly by men. To which she will turn and utter a soft warning growl while glaring at them. She has a vain streak, so she’s constantly checking her uniform, hair, and wings for any sign of dirt, blood and the like. This can annoy her team mates at times, but she will go all out and get dirty in order to protect them. She does have a bright blue feather in her hair, presumably so that she stands out from other Gria, but also to attract some attention from potential male interests.

They took care of her until she was 15. They then taught her how to be a Ravager. She has become much more self-confident in Gully, often times being a jokester when her team mates were feeling sad. She has a surprisingly soft heart once you get past the prickly, cold, heartless exterior. She doesn’t know the meaning of the words “Quit” or “Lose”, which has helped her survival tremendously. She has often times thought about her birth mother, wondered what she looked like. She’s also thought about her father. All she knows is he was a Hume. She hopes that one day she will meet her mother and father, and show them what she has become. Hopefully, maybe, they might be proud of her and what she has done with her life. With this latest crisis, however, her dreams and hopes are being put aside so she can focus wholly on the tasks ahead of her. She is at the age that she is starting to day dream about boys. Her team mates tease her about this, and she knows that they are just playing around. She’s desperately trying to focus her thoughts away from boys, and onto the mission. However, she does tend to slip up a bit, which is easily forgiven as she then does more than her share of the work load. She loves to draw things, like birds and flowers. She never thinks her work is beautiful, despite her team mates approval.


Personality: Shadow is quiet, not speaking often. When she does, she speaks with great calm and clarity, which calms anyone who hears her. She is generally, and contradictory to her race, a very easy-going girl. Her temper becomes apparent when she’s on the battle field. She is a very understanding creature, and will listen to her team mates if they want to tell her about a certain problem. She is extremely loyal to Clan Gully, and will fight to the death to defend them. She does have a bit of a temper, but she can keep it in check most of the time. In a fight, she will unleash her temper to relieve stress. It's believed that she got her unusual calmness from her Hume father. No one, however, is quite sure where she got her vain streak from. She is also a bit of a helpless romantic, sometimes day dreaming about meeting a nice boy. Not a Gria, of course, perhaps a Hume. She also loves the arts, and anything that has to do with the arts. She is a fast learner, and enjoys being challenged. She does know, however, when to submit to her leader's orders and when to protest against them.

@Darkangel: Your SU is a little short overrall, but your character nseems like a good addition to Gully. I agree with Game Over, Reserved. However, I'm afraid you'll have to lengthen your SU just a little more. Maybe four to five lines more.

Well, better stick up Florence's! Shes been around a while so she would be quite talented and experienced when it comes to abilities, I guess;

Primary Action: Devastation (Raptor)

Power Crush, Mind Crush, Speed Crush, Soul Crush, Cyclone, Bulwark, Shield Bash, Whirlwind

Secondary Action: Geomancy (Geomancer)

Shining Flare, Venom Squall, Nature's Embrace, Artifice's Embrace

Reaction: Regenerate (Hunter)
Support: Attack↑ (Hunter)

The reason she has Hunter abilities is that Grias have to start as Hunters before they can become Geomancers and Raptors. She has a limited knowledge in Trapping, about two or three abilities (and probably went back to a Hunter for a short while to gain experience in it but was useless at it; swords are her thing) and has a much higher knowledge in Geomancy.

Oh! And currently equipped, she has Estrella, the two handed sword. She has a shield, Reverie, but can't equip it thanks to her double hander. Do we need to state what armor they have?

Haha I feel really bad giving her these really great items but she's the leader, has been doing stuff for years and therefore should have good stuff, right?

@Game Over1375: There are 8 others. They have a BIG moveset, but mediocre stats. That's why I gave him the fairly ordinary Soldier to balance it out.

@Everyone: Nice ability sheets so far. Try to keep em in mind when battling.

c) Some stuff going on between friends, and I need to be there.
