training larvesta

alright, i have been using lucky egg with larvesta as suggested, but i was wondering how training her against a certain type of pokemon would affect her EVs, if at all?

Just complete League over and over again. Give Exp. Share to Larvesta and you're ready to go on. I have evolved almost all of my Pokémon in that way. Fast and powerful way. I have 100lvl Samurott and 100lvl Kyurem so League is soo easy. Just make sure that you're Pokémon are over 70 lvl or it might take little longer. Don't use Larvesta at the battles. Just make sure that it have Exp. Share.

And you can also use Exp.Share with it against Cynthia or Morimoto. The strongest trainers in the game, but other than that, use Exp.Share on it @ E4.And when it can fend off by itself, use Lucky Egg with grinding, around level 20 in Pinwheel Forest should start helping.

I used an Exp. Share on mine while I let all my other Pokemon battle for her.

I trained on Route 14 in the dark grass and used my Samurott and Gothitelle to battle while Larvesta held the Exp. Share.

Now she's a Volcarona!

I got mine and trained it using the old fashioned way, now she's a volcarona and one of the most powerful pokemon in my team...besides my vicinity which is like Lvl 48.
It takes a while, but if your really dedicated what i'm sure you can get a high leveled one :3
just don't resort to rare candies unless you have a TON of defense and other stat increasures cuz' then even though its level may say like 100, its stats will more then likely be the same as when you started using rare candies :3

Thanks to the server drop-out, my nicely formatted post went kaput. So I'm referencing a page on Serebii, instead. If any staff have an issue with, that, please say so. Ta

Yes, every pokemon you fight will give off EVs. So if you care about that, you'll need to train against pokemon that give off Sp. Attack and Speed EVs.

EXP Share will give the holder the same EVs as if they were fighting, so keep that in mind. You might want to use that to get up to a similar level and then switch to Lucky Egg.

Good luck and sorry for the brief-ness. :D

Guys before you give advice, maybe pay more attention to what the user in question is asking? Some of those answers aren't what the user was asking for. But yes Archer, linking Serebii is fine. Either way, please ask in Quick Questions next time as you were told to do in your last thread. Also for greater details about ev training, check out this post.
