I agree. It just doesn't seem to make sense. Even if it is a dark furred rabbit.

Lol xD

Wow it's been about 5-6 years since I last saw a Monty Python movie. xD
Maybe watching some over the Holidays wouldn't be such a bad idea.
Was gonna do Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, maybe Die Hard. But I just recently saw all the HP movies before I saw the last one.

Hey quick question, once I have 15 post will I then be able to post images in the Graphics section?

I've seen like... two of the HP movies lol. Patchisou Yutohru Various people are nagging me to watch the rest, and to read the books now. Idk about all of them but Die Hard 4 was decent imo.

Yep!

Lol, only 2? xD
So I'm gonna assume you read all the books? ^^;

I like Die Hard 2 the most.
Number 4 was kinda different from the first 3, but it was fun. :)

Karma Police December 24th, 2011 5:16 AM

I have never even heard of Monty Python. /googles

Seems interesting, but I have no idea how I'll be able to see that. Maybe youtube lol

I've seen all HP movies. I'm sure I've seen all the LotR movies too, but I can't remember a single one of them ;~; Die Hard 4 is an okay movie, I saw it about 4 years ago.

Mew~ December 24th, 2011 5:17 AM

I've watched bits of a few of the die hard films, but not properly, just whilst flicking through channels trying to find something good to watch. My mum loves them though, she tried nagged me to go watch 4.0 with her when it came out in the cinemas, which I obviously said no to. xD;

As for the harry potter films, I'm a massive fan. You should certainly check out the movies and reading them if you find the time. I'm hoping to read The Hunger Games series before the movie comes out, a friend of my persuaded me. xD;

Impo December 24th, 2011 5:25 AM

I just started Hunger Games today. :P After seeing all the hype bout the movie and all I decided to give it a go.

A lotta times I start these series after I usually watch/hear about a movie based off that book. Eragon, Percy Jackson, Alex Rider, even Harry Potter, I started all of them after seeing the movies. (except for Alex Rider, I only heard about the movie)

Impo December 24th, 2011 6:00 AM

I like reading books then movies of the book.

It helps you see how differently someone else interpreted how you read the book - it's nice seeing thing from someone elses interpretations.

Zeffy December 24th, 2011 6:01 AM

Ya'll should stop these nonsense, read Harry Potter now or I'll nag ya to death! If not, go watch them movies! >:C

Impo December 24th, 2011 6:27 AM

Zeffy is commanding you, I think you should do what he says.

I haven't read many books apart from the HP series. Though I do like Enid Blyton and her books

Shining Raichu December 24th, 2011 6:30 AM

I've been at this forum longer than Razor Leaf the fact he's a mod means nothing especially because he's only been one for like two days? I'M A VETERAN and I agree with this statement.

Much loves.

Also The Hunger Games is excellent, Die Hard films are also amazing.

Mr. X December 24th, 2011 7:34 PM

That just reminded me about a peice in one of George Carlin's shows.

Edit - As for presents, most of the time the wait is the good part. Really. You spend a couple weeks wondering just what you got, and then when you open it... Meh. Nothing special, odds are something that you'll either wear once, use once, never wear, never use, or lose peices to in about a week.

...

I'm 18 but I'm REALLY wanting a chemistry set or a electronics kit. (Can't remember what its called. Its the cardboard/something panel with circuits, lights, speakers, switches, ect, and spring connectors. Depending on what you connect you can make some really interesting things... Or just make the entire thing blow up... Like I did... twice... about a hour after I got them.

But you're supposed to love their little precious baby! That's the best gift in the world. In fact they should charge you for those pictures because their baby is just that awesome! WHY AREN'T YOU ADMIRING THEM?? >:(

Yeah, some parents are weird like that.

I wish I was doing something exciting for Christmas but it's my first day off in ten days so I'm gonna sleep and relax all day. I don't do family Christmas until January 8th, haha. So I don't get any of the presents or awesome food or company of family, which is what makes Christmas so special for me. Maybe I'll play video games on my brand new bean bag chair. Oh the horror, that's one way guaranteed to ruin Christmas, some newbie parents can be so selfish! xD

Lol, tho was kinda expecting my cousin who just had her first kid to give our grandparents something like that. But to my surprise she didn't..
She painted the bottom of her kids feet in purple and yellow, and stamped both feets on to a canvas then drew something black in the middle so it looked like a butterfly.. Kinda cool. xD

If you mean you didn't get the 'non-obligatory' part, I meant that some presents come along with Christmas cards, attached to the wrapping. These I consider obligatory, since to me it looks like an appreciated etiquette, lol.

Oh yeah! You mean the once sent in mail.. Yeah I got over 20 of those.. Poor in each year.. xD

I kinda call the once sent before Christmas not attached to a gift obligatory, I call the once attached to the gift gift-cards/labels.. xD

miltankRancher December 25th, 2011 6:45 AM

I call those things "sender's name". :) nah, just joking. :)

I haven't gotten anything for Christmas. Not expecting anything, and that's alright. Let's just say I'm going to be doing a lot more giving than taking this Christmas! :'D

My cousin sent me a picture of her kid. Who I have never met. And I doubt I will anytime soon.
It was a Christmas present.
Really?

Anyway yeah other than that (and some absolutely hideous clothing) I got loads this year because I AM SO SPOILED.

MERRY CHRISTMAS M'LOVELYS <3

vaporeon7 December 25th, 2011 3:17 PM

I'm gonna re-list my major presents:
A coffee cup, an umbrella, a $100 Gametraders giftcard: This wasn't a bad idea, probably the best store that could've been chosen, a pillow with an inbuilt speaker: It's not actually half bad, it's pretty comfortable, $100 - Always a good idea, a pin art thingy: Is actually pretty cool, lollies and a coke: I don't eat/drink either of these and a $15 giftcard for where I work

I don't know why my dad got me an umbrella though, I had like four.

O'Keafe December 25th, 2011 3:28 PM

My parents were generous this year on Christmas; they rarely show any spirit or interest in the holiday but this year they did from some reason. But, who am I to complain when I got what I want and more? Tickets to see Coldplay with my friends is probably the best gift I have gotten from them.

Kano Shuuya December 25th, 2011 3:39 PM

I got a Japanese fountain and it's pretty small, so we're going to kind of move it around the house on occasions to look cute. I also got a new MP3 player, which I'm already abusing like mad, and I bought myself a 3DS because it's Christmas, that's why. XD;

I got my mom three or four things that she really liked, and that was what made it the most amusing probably.

Netto Azure December 25th, 2011 4:21 PM

Hmm lets see what I bought as pity gifts for the past month or so:

2x 4GB laptop RAM
2x 36GB MicroSD Cards
1 R4DSv.2
1 Used Pokemon Heart Gold
1 Used Pokemon Platinum
1 Used Pokemon Diamond

I am still thinking about that 3DS and maybe an Apple iPad or Tablet. Hmm...Yeah I've spoil myself lately, all that pent up techie spender in me for the past 6 years had been unleashed a few months ago so...I should go back to good old penny pinching me.

Arctic Eclipse December 25th, 2011 6:35 PM

Hi PC :P I'm kinda new here so I'd like to make friends and since everyone is posting of what they got from Christmas I'll do the same.

Some Converse All Star shoes
2 Sweaters
5 T-Shirts
1 Pair of Jeans
1 Cologne
1 Rosary
10 Pairs of socks :P.
1 Chicago Bulls Snapback

Didn't ask for much but I'm happy with what I got.

Nihilego December 25th, 2011 6:46 PM

I got a Pot Noodle.

Yum!

Shining Raichu December 25th, 2011 9:45 PM

Your Christmas presents aren't official until you've posted them in this thread imo.
