The Evolution Delusion
What do you think about the new ways that Generation IV found to evolve? Good, bad, ugly, too complicated, tell me what you think.

Ooh, interesting topic.
I liked the area-specific evolutions personally - they seemed a neat idea to me. What I didn't like about them is that that aspect carry over in HGSS that well if memory serves? Which is somewhat annoying, even if it is continued in B/W. |
bobandbill is interested. O_O
area evolutions are by far my most favorite way of leveling up, aside from the traditional level up evolution. The Moss rock and the icicle rock are cool! |
I like the area evolutions that is one of the most unique ways of evolving a Pokemon. I wish there were more Pokemon like that such as Magmar evolving into Magmortar near Heatran or any other place that resembles lava. I really don't like the Dawn and Dusk stones evolutions just because there were enough stones to begin with.

It might've been just me, but I thought the methods of evolution were just weird. I've been so familiar with basically just leveling up, and now you got to learn these new moves and go to these places, it was all just weird. And it was not just one pokemon, there were quite a few that used these new evolving techniques.
