Hilarious! lol but could be true. Some people type how they type meaning words or phrases used in different parts of the world.

Livewire_ April 17th, 2012 10:23 PM

I'm actually pretty good at emulating accents, haha. Learned from my Dad.

Cello April 17th, 2012 11:21 PM

Do you mean by speech, or by typing Live? Because if by typing, i'm going to have to demand you share. :O

I would try, but i'd probably offend somebody in some way knowing me.

donavannj April 17th, 2012 11:32 PM

The only accent I'm any good at imitating is the hokier version of my own accent that a lot of the older people here have and that so many from outstate Minnesota have.

vaporeon7 April 18th, 2012 12:03 AM

I suck at emulating accents, it doesn't take too long before my Australian accent takes over.

Turn-it April 18th, 2012 12:43 AM

I do a pretty good Drake accent....or rather impersonation! lol

Read that as hooker at first loooool.

I don't think I can do many accents myself.

Karma Police April 18th, 2012 1:17 AM

I never tried to imitate accents, so I don't think I would be able to do well lol.

Nihilego April 18th, 2012 2:49 AM

You are now reading this post in a Scottish accent.

I'm crazy good at those. Although it could be down to me being part Scottish, but having never lived there and never having a family member with a strong accent who I've been around for a while, I'm more or less putting it on.

Oryx April 18th, 2012 3:38 AM

I wanna go to a foreign country where my accent is admired. Is that a thing?

Legendary Silke April 18th, 2012 4:06 AM

I think my accent is so bad that people from the other side of a voice chat can get confused.

cacturne4512 April 18th, 2012 5:03 AM

According to people who come here from out-of-state, I have a standard Vermont accent. Meaning I pronounce Vermont Vermon.

Not as exiciting as some of the other accents out there, but it's still an accent I guess.

Archenoth April 18th, 2012 5:22 AM

I have no accent, but I can emulate an Australian accent with relative ease... It's kinda nifty actually.

British speakers have an unfair advantage where I live, because the accent somehow manages to make the speaker about we 20% cooler for some reason. It just sounds awesome.

Shining Raichu April 18th, 2012 7:09 AM

I'm sorry, did someone say accent?

Oryx April 18th, 2012 7:21 AM

No the accent challenge sucks :(

Nihilego April 18th, 2012 7:22 AM

Let's all talk about accents but not talk with them!

Shining Raichu April 18th, 2012 7:28 AM

The accent challenge is amazing, it is you two who suck.

Karma Police April 18th, 2012 8:22 AM

We all obviously need to hear rl's scottish accent and then spam him with all kinds of stereotypes.

I RESENT THAT STATEMENT!

I will talk however I darn well please, thank you very much!

Also we must hear your fake Scottish accent.

Ivysaur April 18th, 2012 10:03 AM

I can use a wide arrange of Spanish accents in my day-to-day life, sadly I'm stuck with my weird nondescript English one for the time being.

Hagumi April 18th, 2012 10:07 AM

I would also like to hear Razor Leaf's Scottish accent, being a Scot myself. You should recite some Robert Burns poetry!

And I can't really emulate any other accents. I'm quite bad at them.

Netto Azure April 18th, 2012 11:07 AM

Scottish accent? Throw in some Irish in there when u can. lol

Kura April 18th, 2012 11:47 AM

I've got a regular Canadian accent.. not an eastern-coast Canadian accent. : | I guess a Torontonian accent.. since I pronounce Toronto like Torronno like the rest of the natives there : |

Everyone says I sound posh when I try to do a British accent.. but I can only do one around British people.

Oryx April 18th, 2012 11:54 AM

I guess my ignorant American is showing because I can think of dozens of American accents, but only one Canadian, one Australian, etc. The only one I can think of more than one for other than America is England and that's 2 instead, lol. x.x;

Overlord Drakow April 18th, 2012 11:58 AM

British Overlord accent over here. I've surprised people online because some of them expected me to sound Indian or something.
