I am all too familiar with that shrieking. Certain kids pretty much only do it for attention.

Like my 7 year old sister, for instance.

Shining Raichu June 18th, 2012 9:30 PM

What the hell, you got to 14 years of age and your parents decided they wanted to do it again from the beginning?

Go find them and ask what's up with that.

When people at the supermarket used to come up to my trolley when I was a kid and tell my mother how adorable I was, I'd say "You're ugly." Then Mum would say "ANDREW!" and I'd say "Well she is!"

That's a true story, I don't remember it but my mother certainly does lmao.

Apparently once when we were in public, I turned to my mom and said "You won't hit me today, right?" She had NO idea what to say/do because people were looking at her warily. I don't remember this, of course, since I was like 2 or 3... but my mom said she was just mortified because she'd never (and has never) raised a hand at me or anything. XD I have no idea what possessed little!Me to say that.

LOL omfg. OK you win the awesome child story competition. I don't think even the time I knocked an old lady over and kept running can beat that.

Wow, that is just so much win. You definitely knew how to get what you wanted as a child I see! So good I have nothing even worth mentioning now you've posted that.

I don't really have any interesting stories about mini-me. Other than my grandma saying (and having video of) me reciting certain movies line for line in sync with the movie while watching it (because I had seen it waaaay too many times at her house while being babysat by her) at her house.

Actually, I was 13. She's about to turn 8. And she wasn't exactly planned... though neither were my brother or I

Oh right, I forgot to factor in the 9 months it takes to cook one :P

bewbs June 18th, 2012 10:33 PM

I'm going to be in a placement with children in September.

In that case, I was 12! Though she wasn't a planned child anyway. That's why there's the HUGE gap between her and my brother and I. again, not that either of the older two of us were planned, either

Livewire June 18th, 2012 11:38 PM

With me, it's more like what I didn't do as a kid. Where to begin.

Mr Cat Dog June 19th, 2012 2:00 AM

I was such a good kid, it's sickening. Although apparently I used to cry all of the time when I was a wee baby. Apart from that, I was plain sailing to raise! :P

Nihilego June 19th, 2012 2:05 AM

I was definitely an... interesting kid at times. I like to think I was more "fun" than "perfect"!

Netto Azure June 19th, 2012 2:56 AM

Hmm...how would I describe myself.

Sheltered Kid: PreK-Grade 1
Cry Baby: Grade 1-3
Happy Kid: Grade 4-6
Serious Studious Teen: Grade 7-11
Lazy Person: Grade 12- 1st Year College.

Captain Fabio June 19th, 2012 3:53 AM

I was a lazy child; never wanted to do any work, read or anything like that. I just wanted to play games! >:3

Then I got my ass in gear and learned to play games and work! \o/

Ayselipera June 19th, 2012 4:57 AM

All your children will be terrors and you will want to kill yourself the end.

Captain Fabio June 19th, 2012 5:10 AM

I will whip mine into shape; no way in hell will he/she be one of these bratty kids/teenagers.

This is just lovely.

On bratty and spoiled kids...I think I've witnessed the epitome of their class. 9 year old cousin, complete diva. So much character at this age, didn't think it was possible. And her obstinance...is irritating beyond words.

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ June 19th, 2012 6:52 AM

Another reason I have no desire to have kids... I don't need my kids giving me attitude. I'm not going to tolerate it from them.

Ho-Oh June 19th, 2012 6:57 AM

I behaved as a kid. I didn't do anything bad. I was like, the one that always told on the others despite getting bullied and uhhhh I liked to sing??? /all I care to remember rn

Nowadays I just... I can't even describe myself anymore.

Esper June 19th, 2012 7:54 AM

I wasn't that well behaved as a kid and never listened to my parents, but I would do things that really weren't bad at all, like staying up late to read a book or sneaking out of the house to see a friend who was having a really bad day.

Shiny Celebi June 19th, 2012 8:07 AM

I was a good kid for the most part. I never really did anything too bad. I fear my kids would though if I had them and not being able to control them.

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ June 19th, 2012 10:58 AM

I was a good kid in school, but at home I was always picking a fight with my parents. I found (and still find today) some of their house rules to be complete bull, and I wasn't afraid to let them know exactly when I wasn't happy with them.

Kura June 19th, 2012 12:08 PM

Money and time aside, (because who doesn't like being a little selfish), I don't think I would mind raising my own child. I wouldn't want to do it anytime soon (lol more like 10+ years from now or something sounds more reasonable) because it is the biggest commitment/ responsibility you could have.

>_> Though, if anything, it's pregnancy that scares me the most.

Sweet Candace June 19th, 2012 12:12 PM

I was a very closed-off person in school and often kept to myself. I endured a lot of bullying over the course of the years in school, and it made me for a time, just keep to myself.

Ephemeral Euphoria June 19th, 2012 12:29 PM

I was the devil's avatar back in elementary school but I cooled down by the time I hit 12 since I was more focused with Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire than with playing psychological warfare with my peers at the time lol.

Oh and new theme, feels good man.
