A question about Pokemon GameCube Games and GBA
Sorry bad english, I am from Brazil
In the past I have a Game Boy + Pokemon Red and A nintendo 64 + Pokemon Stadium So much fun, I loved so much to train my pokemon in my Game Boy and after they become very strong to play in Nintendo 64 in that Pokémon tournaments. Nowadays is very cheap a old used Game Cube in Internet , also a Game Boy Advance , However, before to try to buy it, I need to know more: I read a LOT of reviews about Pokemon Colosseum of Game Cube, but, ALL review talk only about the "Story Mode" and talk very few about the "Battle Mode" I have absolutely no interest in the story mode. I want to play something like the Old "Pokemon Stadium, however, using the Game Boy Advance Generation of Pokemons. Please, someone can say to me more about the Battle Mode of Pokemon Colosseum ? please, someone answer my questions: 1- Is possible to transfer the pokemons that I use in a Game Boy Advance to play in Pokemon Colosseum ? If "yes", they keep the same LV, or all pokemon transfered become LV 50 ( or something like that ?) Or we can use in "Battle Mode" only pokemons that we can get in the "story mode" ? 2- How many "tournaments" we can play against the CPU using our GBA pokemons ? Or not have any "tournament" to play ? Please, someone can say more about this "Battle Mode and their connectivity with GBA and the usage of pokemons from GBA in the Game Cube game ? 3- And about "Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness" ? Exist any of these "features" that I am looking for ? Thank you very much for your time reading it. And , of course, thank you very much If you get the work to try to answer me. |
1. From what I remember, I think Battle Mode lets you have your Colosseum team and a GBA game battle. I can't remember if you can upload them into Battle Mode though. It's worth noting that in Story Mode, you can eventually trade Pokemon between Colosseum and the GBA games. And you can use your Colosseum team in Battle Mode to go up Mt. Battle and get a Ho-Oh, so that's pretty neat. So if you want to use your GBA Pokemon for that, you'd have to trade them to Colosseum first, then take on the Battle Mode Mt. Battle challenge. I think you can upload Pokemon from the GBA to do that as well, however if you want Ho-Oh, you have to use the Colosseum team.
2. I think I explained most of that in #1. 3. I'm a little rusty with this game, but I think it is the same as Colosseum in this regard. You don't get a Ho-Oh in this game though. If this doesn't help much or you have more questions, please go to the Spin-Off forum and use the Question and Answer thread there. It's at the top of the forum, so you can't miss it. Hopefully I've helped you enough here though. Good luck! Locked. |
