Which is your favorite?
Which Gen II game was your favorite (GB and NGC)?
My favorite was Fire Red as a little kid (where can you go wrong with Charizard?) but for some reason now that I'm older I like Leaf Green better...idk haha What did/do you like and why? :) |
Tie between LeafGreed and Emerald.

Emerald was a close second for me :P |
Pokemon Emerald is still my favorite game in the franchise to this day.
|
Emerald is my favorite. Like Kirbychu, it's my favorite in the series.
|
I also agree with Kirbychu and Sydian, Emerald was my favorite out of all the generations (even if I never owned it). Fire Red would be my second favorite, though.
|
I only played Sapphire, so I'd have to say that. I remember really liking it at the time, but I subsequently can't remember anything concrete about the experience. Nevertheless, I never bought either of FRLG, and only played my brother's Ruby for a few minutes - and remarked how different yet same-y everything was! - so Sapphire gets my vote by default.
|
Emerald, definitely. It was the first Gen III game I played, and I was skeptical at first, but it was amazing.
|
Leafgreen and Firered are garbage.
I'd have to go with Emerald, battle frontier for the win. |
Sapphire without a doubt, although Emerald is good it's Sapphire that introduced me to the Hoenn region which was and always has been my favourite region.
|
Emerald for sure. It's got to be one of my favorite Pokemon games as well. it was my first steps into Hoenn since I didn't have a GBA when RS came out. It introduced me to an amazing region. It has the Battle Frontier which is a good plus.
|
I like them all, but Colosseum gets my vote. I mainly like how the main character was significantly older than previous players and the cool feature that you can steal Pokémon from other Trainers. But of the other games, Emerald's in second on my list.

Plus it was the newest pokemon game that had "3d" battles at its time And yea that MC was one of my fav ones to use |
Along with the vast majority of this poll, my favorite is Emerald. I've owned like four copies at one point, and still have two – one of them full of hax0red stuff that came with buying it used XP.
I really wanted to warm up to Ruby and Sapphire, but its featurelessness compared to Emerald ruined most of my experiences with the two original games :/. |
Leaf Green. It has better exclusives than Fire Red, and is far better than the Hoenn based games. Plus it has the best female protagonist ever to grace a Pokemon game.
XD Gale of Darkness is second because of its story and variety of available Shadow Pokemon. Oh, and Miror B. |

I really really really hope that they make a remake in the near future! |
Actually my favorite was XD Gale of Darkness.
I really liked the story of it and I love seeing the Pokemon in 3D! |

I feel alone 0.0'. Looks like I'm the only one that voted FR ^^;
I do love me some FR. I had Red Version on my GBC as my first Pokemon game, so it's really nostalgic to me. Hacked games though, I like Moemon LG. Wewt for Moemon! |
Leaf Green, for it was my first Gen 3 game and I found it to be a pretty good remake of the originals.
Emerald and XD get honorable mentions though. The Battle Frontier and the Orre Colosseum are both fun challenges. |
I love all of them but if I had to choose it would be between Leaf Green and Colosseum due to how addictive they were at the time.
|
Coolio!
Awesome guys and gals! :D I don't know why but it's cool to know other peoples opinions and stuff :)
To the FR loner: Red Version was my first too and Fire Red was my first GBA game, but for some un-explainable reason I shifted to LG :P Also, nobody has voted for Pokemon Box Sapphire & Ruby lolz! It sounds like it COULD be useful...haha |
I'm assuming that these don't include spin-offs such as PMD, because that would get my vote. Other than PMD, it would be a tie between Emerald and Colosseum(not XD).
|
Sorry :P

Colosseum was cool and all, but I can't stop loving Emerald. It just had more stuff to do compared to its predecessors–especially taking down two teams at once–and the Battle Frontier first introduced me to competitive battling.
