Where Would You Want to Live?

Where would you want to live in the pokemon world?

Kanto: Vermillion City

Johto: Olivine City

Hoenn: Slateport City

Sinnoh: Sunyshore City

Unova: Driftveil City

I like the beach, okay?

Chaos Dragon June 20th, 2012 11:54 AM

I'm going to go with Charicific Valley, Sootopolis City, Black City, and Village of the Dragon.

Oryx June 20th, 2012 11:56 AM

Gonna send this into polls. :3

Aquacorde June 20th, 2012 12:37 PM

Slateport or Lilycove. It's always been between those two. They're the only cities I've ever explored where one of my first thought was 'oh I'd love to have a house here'. I like Slateport for the busier atmosphere and the open-air market while at the same time liking Lilycove for its peacefulness and artsy focuses. Also beaches and open waters for both. If I lived in either I'd probably end up running a ferry service for resources and passengers to various island towns and cities like Dewford and Mossdeep. Boating for a living and living at the seaside? Yes please. It's like a year-round vacation.

Kanto - Lavender Town (I like ghost pokemon)

Johto - Ecruteak City (It just looks cool)

Hoenn - Sootopolis (Living in a volcano...sweet)

Sinnoh - Hearthome City (Lots of stuff to do here, contest, gym, park etc)

Unova - Black City (Big city woop woop!)

PlatinumDude June 20th, 2012 5:11 PM

Kanto: Vermillion; there's a good view of the sea there.

Johto: Goldenrod; I'm a bit more used to city life

Hoenn: Slateport; it's near the sea and there's also a beach down south

Sinnoh: Veilsone; there's a Game Corner there

Unova: Nimbasa, for the amusement park

giradialkia June 20th, 2012 6:12 PM

Kanto: Vermillion City
Johto: The route leading to Mt. Silver. Strange? kinda. :P
Hoenn: Fallarbor Town
Sinnoh: Eterna City
Unova: The town near Giant Chasm, whose name I can't remember, shamefully :O

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ June 23rd, 2012 5:01 AM

Kanto: Celadon City, because of Erika and the Department Store.

Johto: Goldenrod, becuase of the Department Store, and Whitney.

Hoenn: I'd rather burn in the deepest depths of hell than live anywhere in that horrid region.

Sinnoh: Hearthome City, because it's the largest. Strangely, Fantina living there is not as much of a factor as it is with Erika and Whitney.

Unova: Castelia. The Leader in town is an oddball, but the city itself is suitably large and busy with plenty to do.

Orre: Phenac City. It's just a beautiful place, with the flowing water everywhere.

Hikamaru June 23rd, 2012 5:28 AM

Where I would like to live in the Pokemon World:

Kanto: Saffron City cos they have a Psychic Gym Leader (Hikari liek Psychics)

Johto: Ecruteak City for its Japanese look

Hoenn: Slateport City for its beach

Sinnoh: Hearthome City cos I love the Contest Hall

Unova: Nimbasa City because its Gym Leader (Elesa) is one of my fave characters!

Palkia June 24th, 2012 3:02 AM

Kanto: I don't personally care for Kanto, but if I had to live in that region, I'd probably pick Cerulean City.

Johto: Olivine City by far. I really like it's location and the lighthouse is one of my favourite place in the region.

Hoenn: Fortree City or Sooptopolis City. Both of them are really interesting areas that I can't choose between, although I might go to Fortree because it is more convenient.

Sinnoh: Sunyshore City. Basically Olivine City but in Sinnoh.

Unova: Castelia City is really the only city in the games which actually has more than 15 buildings. Plus, there is a lot of people living there which would be fun to socialise with.

katiedawn121 June 30th, 2012 10:35 AM

Kanto: Cerulean City
Johto: Goldenrod City
Hoenn: Petalburg City
Sinnoh: Hearthome City
Unova: Nimbasa City

For the most part, I'd like to live in the city with the most hustle and bustle in each region. Because of this, Castelia in Unova is a definite, and probably Saffron in Kanto as well. However, I could use a few homes-away-from-home, and they'd probably need to be in more relaxed areas. Snowpoint in Sinnoh could be my skiing getaway (not that I've ever skied before... but there's always time!), Blackthorn in Johto could be my mountain retreat, and Mossdeep in Hoenn could be my own private island once I'd kicked those pesky twins and their community off the island! :P

As much as I love the hustle and bustle of big cities, I'd have to say Undella Town of Unova.
The beach is probably one of the most luxurious places to live, and I'll be the first to admit that I'm a princess. I would live in a nice little condo, with a gorgeous patio that overlooks the Undella Bay. The calm waves cruising across the shore, the Wingull and Pelipper sailing on the wind, and the cute little Luvdisc playing in the water with the little kids on the beach while there mothers laugh at the show. yeah, I've thought long and hard about where I'd like to live if the Pokemon World were real. Just me and my Pokemon and Marlon walking around the town with our bare feet across the sand. Sounds like paradise to me!

The Legend of Zorra July 2nd, 2012 10:27 PM

I'd probably live on the edge of Celadon City in Kanto -- it's large and central, yet close enough to the forest and the seaside. In Johto, I'd be in Ecruteak City ... or MooMoo Farm. Hoenn is Fortree City, no contest, because the idea of a city of trees I find immensly appealing. Sootopolis would be amazing to live in, too, because I love fire in general and would be able to walk over to the springs. Mmmm.

I agree that Snowpoint would be a neat area to live in. And Unova? I kind of like Nacrene City, a quiet town on the edge of the train tracks. It's near Pinwheel Forest, which is great (by now you've probably noticed that I need to live by trees), and I'd have a cozy little warehouse loft. Lacunosa and Icirrus are also definite contenders.

The more I consider this question, the more fun it is to think about. Each and every town has its own unique atmosphere, making it fascinating to imagine.

LadyAyeka July 4th, 2012 12:40 AM

I kinda like Celestic Town in Sinnoh. It's a nice, peaceful, out-of-the-way place, and it's also has the legends tied to it with that ruin, which I think is cool.

Sunyshore City is also cool too; the fact that it's solar-powered is pretty cool. (Eco-friendly FTW!)

I also like Floaroma Town just cause of all the flowers.

I can't think of any towns I like in Kanto or Johto. I haven't played the Gen III games yet so I can't say for Hoenn, and I'm not far along enough yet in White to judge for Unova.

The towns in the Ranger games are cool too; I would probably live in any of them, except I think Boyleland.

Livewire July 5th, 2012 10:29 AM

Hmmm. In Kanto I would probably like to live in Fuschia City, in Johto it would be Blackthorn, an Hoenn it would be Mossdeep City, I guess. Sinnoh's is obvious, Sunyshore. XD And in Unova I think I'd like to live in Undella. With Cynthia

Shining Raichu July 5th, 2012 6:11 PM

In Kanto, I think I'd split my time between Celadon City and Cerulean City. Cerulean seems pretty and has a laid-back energy, plus you have that awesome route right above it that leads you across the pretty water... and Celadon City would be beautiful because Erika presides over it and has pretty Grass-type Pokemon to make things nice. Also, it has that huge Pokemart, and I love shopping.

In Johto, I'd live in Ecruteak City. There's no question whatsoever. It is the prettiest town (like wow is it gorgeous) and has this deep, rich history of powerful Pokemon.

In Hoenn, I'd live in a secret base. Because those are epic :P

I have no idea about Sinnoh - probably the Resort Town because you get a big pretty house haha.

In Unova, most definitely Castelia City. It is the most modern, technological, bustling city the Pokemon world has ever been able to come up with and I think that's really awesome. I could live a high-powered life there 8D.

Tamaska July 6th, 2012 1:57 PM

Snowpoint, I love the Climate and The Environment, and the Pokemon around as well.

XtinaIsMeLuvinWWE July 10th, 2012 8:34 AM

I haven't played Black/White yet so I don't know about Unova but I'll do the rest :)

Kanto - Cinnabar Island - (Blaine!! That is all haha)
Johto - Cherrygrove City - (It's just beautiful, I prefer smaller cities and I LOVE the name)
Hoenn - Team Magma's Hideout (Emerald) - (I'd love to be a part of Magma so it makes sense lol)
Sinnoh - Floaroma Meadow - (I quite like the idea of living in that house with my own honey tree, sounds weird but I like my privacy lol)

Hiatus July 22nd, 2012 11:45 PM

If I were in Kanto, then I would live in Saffron City. It is one of Kanto's biggest and busiest cities, and it closely relates to where I live, which is New York. In Johto, I would be in Goldenrod City. I'd live in Fortree City if I were in Hoenn, because it seems to be a very relaxing place. In Sinnoh, I would live in Hearthome City, and in Unova, I'd live in Castelia.

psyanic July 24th, 2012 8:10 PM

I'd probably end up in Cerulean City if I were to be in Kanto, because it has plenty of water to go swimming around in as well as some lovely scenery, apparently. And to me, it doesn't seem overly busy or crowded, nor does it seem to be completely boring and void. Similarly, I'd be in Cherrygrove City for the Johto region, as it's right next to the beach as well as having a moderate source of traffic coupled with a relaxing atmosphere.

In Hoenn, I'm inclined to say that I'd be in Fortree City, because it looks fascinating and exciting, as there would be something new and wondrous every day. Of course, that could be the same if I were to go on a Pokemon journey, but whatever. Also, Sootopolis City looks like a nice place to live. As for Sinnoh, I'd probably be in Floaroma Town for obvious reasons, or possibly Snowpoint City, because I actually like the snow. It seems like it'd have a colder climate, which I can tolerate to a degree.

In Unova, I'd definitely be in Undella Town.

Snowdrop July 25th, 2012 12:22 PM

Sky Tower from PMD seems like it would be rather nice XD

As far as main cities go, then probably Snowpoint City.

Brendino July 27th, 2012 6:33 PM

Kanto - Vermilion City
Johto - Olivine City
Hoenn - Slateport City
Sinnoh - Pastoria City
Unova - Driftveil City

The cities I would like to live in are all what I would consider medium-large cities, and are all situated near a body of water. There would still be lots of things to do in these cities, and most are only a route or two away from some of the more major places (Saffron/Celadon, Hearthome, Castelia/Nimbasa).

Know-Nothing Bozo the Non-Wonder Dog July 31st, 2012 10:58 AM

Castelia City, for sure. I just love huge, busy cities. And, it's full of businessmen! <3

I guess Celadon City would be nice too, since it has the department store (I do love to shop) and the game corner.

Twilight Sky August 26th, 2012 3:45 PM

Anywhere in Hoenn would be fine with me. Preferably a populous city, but I wouldn't mind if it was someplace like Sootopolis. Being in an underwater city seems fascinating. xD
