Jean mi is right, it's impossible to Nuzlocke this game, since the Ai uses a set strategy, and you really would need the right team to beat them. Unless I'm misunderstanding, wouldn't call it a relaxed game either, since it seems like the game is devoted to competitive battling, meaning you would have to go through the boring process of Ev training. Worst part about it, is the lack of Ev holding items. Most people on this thread though, seem to just overgrind and hope for the best.

Actually there are ev holding items in the latest episode 13 in the department store, cant remember what level that is tho, but there is a guide on where to evtrain.
Its here if u need it: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7866

This game looks really cool, I love the art style. If you need any scripting help I'd be glad to assist.

Jean mi October 4th, 2014 1:17 AM

I don't EV train and before the psychologist and the ability changer appeared, I didn't even have the right abilities and natures and I was doing fine. The gym leader are tough, they require several tries and strategy to beat them but the game is not difficult at the point you need to EV train or overgrind.

@brianwee2012 I'll need to check that out then, would have saved me major time.

Matter of opinion of course. I mean you really can't say you can beat this game by spamming a 90 power move, like in the handhelds. And I'm mostly judging how ev training might be a necessity due to my own experience playing it, and previous comments on this thread, stating that they had to overlevel, which many have said.

Wild Magnemite sometimes have it, and there's one at the cave where you fight Giga-Steelix

There's an Ice Rock at Adventurine Cave.
Ame changed a lot of it since Ep 13.

Regarding the "Obtainable" page in the site.
Magikarp and Chinchou, and by extension, their evolutions areobtainable but the website states the contrary.

brianwee2012 October 14th, 2014 12:38 AM

Thats cause they might have changed some things like how the magikarp event got extended in the recent episode 13, hence the evolution is obtainable for those who obtained it in episode 12, but the pokemon, magikarp itself is still not able to be gettable in episode 13.

Kurapika October 14th, 2014 8:03 AM

Alright.
I just defeated Luna and saved the game to upgrade from episode 10 to episode 13.
When I started the game I found myself near Luna but above her and I can't go down to where she is, there is a crystal there that takes me to a cave that contains an Item named "Dark Matter". I was stuck there not able to use an Escape Rope nor get a wild battle to suicide in it or anything. >.<
Anyway I was able to get unstuck by hacking the savefile.

Emolga and Vivillon are underpowered, especially against Reborn's extremely challenging Gyms. So I suggest you replace them with something more competitive.
If you have enough Heart Scales I suggest you visit the moves tutor and teach Noivern Hurricane and Dragon Pulse.
You can also equip, for exemple, a Ground Gem to Krookodile to make his Earthquake OP.
Magnezone is the best pick against Noel.

Fixed.
The item required to get to the place where you can evolve Magneton (and also a Reuniclus) can be got after you beat Noel.

You can mine for Heart Scales or thieve them off of wild Luvdisc, although the rate for those holding them has been lowered.

As for Type Gems, you can buy them in the Obsidia Department Store, although I don't remember which floor, off the top of my head. There are also some hidden literally all over Reborn, but I don't remember where a Ground Gem is, specifically.

Other than the old power plant, where else can I go to evolve Magneton?

Gamingmama October 20th, 2014 8:55 AM

Hey, this game sounds amazing, As soon as I started reading your post I was instantly drawn in and got very excited about the possibility of playing this. That's the only place where to evolve it, and Nosepass too. (The Rotom room)

Just wondering so I can finally get my favorite Normal-type, but where do I need to go to get Eevee?

There is a cave to the east of chrysolia(sorry if its misspelled) forest. I think you need certain weather to reach there(windy weather i think but not sure). You can get there
