If you were a Gym leader

If you were in the Pokemon world and you could have your own gym, but you could only use one type:

1) Which type would you use ?

2) Your Team ( move set and nature are optional)

--------------------------------------------------------------

I would be a ghost type gym leader

last gym

-Spiritomb Modest

Dark pulse, hidden power (bug), pursuit, hypnosis

-Golurk Adamant

Earthquake, ice punch, thunder punch, hammer arm

Drifblim modest

Thunderbolt, shadow ball, hidden power (bug), explosion

Chandelure timid

Fire blast, shadow ball, energy ball, Will-O-Wisp

Jellicent timid

Water spout, shadow ball, ice beam, energy ball

Gengar timid (last pokemon)

Shadow ball, thunderbolt, focus blast, hidden power (fire)

First Gym

Litwick, Drifloon and Rotom

If you win i would give you the specter badge and the Tm 30 (shadow ball)

Sirfetch’d October 23rd, 2012 1:31 PM

I would be a Bug type Gym Leader. I like bugs and it would be fun. I would be the last leader you face before the Pokemon League. My Gym would require you to complete a series of battles facing every bug Pokemon(non legendary) to date. The gym will be a big cocoon puzzle and I would be in the back of the gym awaiting your challenge.

Flying, probably 7th or 8th so my Pokemon can all be evolved. I can get the sprites, but too lazy to do moves. x)

Vespiquen lv. 49 http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/416.gif
Skarmory lv. 51 http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/227.gif
Mantine lv. 51 http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/226.gif

Aerodactyl lv. 54 http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/142.gif

Hikamaru October 23rd, 2012 10:59 PM

I'd specialize in Water-types and I'd be the 7th or 8th Gym Leader so I can have a fully-evolved team.

My team would be:

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/134.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/121.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/131.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/516.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/593f.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/503.gif

These are among my personal fave Water-types, and I'd prefer my Jellicent being female while Samurott is my star Pokemon. Simipour is there cos I love monkeys, Starmie cos it hits hard, Vaporeon cos it's my fave Eeveelution and Lapras for something bulky.

As for my badge, I'd call it the Coral Badge and I'd give out Scald (one of my fave Water attacks) as the TM.

Gunter's Mew October 24th, 2012 6:29 AM

I am waiting for the day when the games start making dual type gyms.

Fire types

I would be an early gym, maybe even the first gym to greet new trainers. Of course no puzzles though I would have at least more then 3 trainers hanging out with me.

My Pokemon would be Slugma (very weak), Growlithe (weak), Charmander (only decent one)

Charmander being my favorite Pokemon would be the only reason I would make a gym.

Wateria October 24th, 2012 6:42 AM

if I was a Gym leader I would be a Dark type one

My pokemon would be
Umbreon
Krocorok
and my parter:
Mightyena

I would be the fourth one of my region because having a krocorok before then seems unlikely.

Haunted Cupcake October 24th, 2012 10:13 AM

I Think if i was a Gym leader i would have to use a mix of ghost and poison type's. i can't choose just one type.My Gym would be a graveyard with a toxic pond.My Gym Badge would be the Spiritvenom badge. The TM i gave to the winner would be Venoshock and Shadow claw.

My team would be:http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l44/darksylph_2006/seraphim%20clan%20pics/pokemon/scolipede.gif
jolly nature swarm ability @focus sash
Spikes
Toxic Spikes

Rock slide

http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l44/darksylph_2006/seraphim%20clan%20pics/pokemon/1289949607598.gif
timid nature cursed body ability @leftovers
taunt
shadow ball
ice beam
pain split

Modest nature levitate @life orb
focus blast
thunderbolt
shadow ball
dark pulse

and that is my team. i think i would be the last gym or second to last. hehehehe.

Tyrantrum October 24th, 2012 12:22 PM

I'd most likely go with Fire-types, because they're my favorite type! :3 As obvious as it sounds, I'd like to be the final gym leader, because of the Pokémon I'd want on my team. I think I'd call the badge the Inferno Badge and the TM you'd receive would be Flamethrower, I guess. :x

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/136.gif
Flareon ♂ - Level: 49 @ Charcoal
- Bite
- Sand Attack
- Double Team
- Fire Fang

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/229.gif

- Faint Attack
- Sunny Day
- Solarbeam
- Flamethrower

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/038.gif
Ninetales ♀ - Level: 51 @ Flame Orb (I believe, because of Flash Fire and Ninetales being a Fire-type, it'll nullify the burn status, but still give Flamethrower an attack boost. If not, then Wide Glasses, I guess.)
- Calm Mind
- Confuse Ray
- Extrasensory
- Flamethrower

Typhlosion ♂ - Level: 51 @ Silk Scarf

Bounsweet October 24th, 2012 12:40 PM

Water-type for sure. Dark-types, Normal-types, or Ice-types would be a close, second, but I'd go with these guys.

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/184.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/423.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/593f.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/350f.gifhttp://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/134.gif

If I was a leader in the beginning of the game, then this would be my team!

ZettaSlowbro October 24th, 2012 12:54 PM

I'd probably go Steel type, if I had to stick with one type. I'd hand out, TM75 Swords Dance, and the "Dead Weight Badge"

I'd probably be a Water/Dragon type gym leader as they are my favourite types of all. I would also be the last gym leader of the game as well. Below is my team.

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/055.gif
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/171.gif
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/612.gif
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/334.gif
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/272.gif
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/230.gif

If I was the first gym leader, my team would be a bit more like this.

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/116.gif
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/170.gif
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/610.gif

Synerjee October 24th, 2012 1:31 PM

If I were a Gym Leader....

I think my speciality would have to be..the Fire type.

My team would be:

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/555.gif Darmanitan

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/637.gif Volcarona

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/631.gif Heatmor

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/609.gif Chandelure

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/500.gif Emboar

This could be the 8th gym.

Or if I were the first Gym Leader..

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/607.gif Litwick

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/554.gif Darumaka

The badge would be the Scorch Badge and it comes with the TM Flame Charge.

KungFuPurp October 24th, 2012 7:08 PM

hmm pretty difficult to pick one specific type but i'd have to go with a Dark type gym, it being the 7th gym you face with 3 trainers at my assistance.

My Pokemon lineup would look like this-

LV.59 Cacturne
~Absorb
~Sucker Punch
~Payback
~Needle Arm

LV.57 Sableye
~Shadow Claw
~Power Gem
~Foul Play
~Zen Headbutt

LV.50 Umbreon
~Pursuit
~Faint Attack
~Assurance
~Last Resort

LV.49 Shiftry

~Leaf Storm

LV.64 Zoroark
~U-Turn
~Foul Play
~Night Slash
~Night Daze

LV.60 Absol

~Night Slash
~Razor Wind

i would give out TM85 (Dream Eater)..Yep that would be my gym, it was hard to choose from Ghost Type Pokemon or Dark Type as those two are my most cherished types..To bad i can't post there avatars but im sure everyone knows what they look like although it would be more flashy with pictures :disappoin

Sabrewulf238 October 26th, 2012 1:26 PM

It's hard to pick just one type.....not sure whether to pick the type of my favourite pokemon or overall favourite pokemon.

I think it would have to be a mixed Psychic & Ghost type gym. I don't think I could choose between them. (It would be this or no gym at all)

My team would be:

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/563.gifhttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/121.gifhttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/477.gifhttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/579.gifhttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/094.gifhttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/475.gif
