It's good but... you're so mean to Shiny Eevee and Shiny Eeveelutions ;.;

Absol June 26th, 2013 9:22 PM

I agree that not all shiny eeveelutions look good. I prefer most of them nonshiny too :P Good job though Omicron.

So jealous of all those Dittos Mia >.<

And for what I've been RNGing recently... finally decided to give 4th Gen another go for ID abuse. Took awhile but I managed to RNG HeartGold to get the ID/SID combo I wanted for shiny HP Grass Timid/Modest for the 3 legendary birds \o/

Yay! 4th gen RNG!

@Omi
How can you not like green Espeon?!!!!! *feelings are hurt*

My attempt to get all HP dittos has been delayed. Can't find any good seeds. :/
They must be shiny. *ching ching sparkle sparkle*

Ugh, so I'm having some serious troubles breeding guys, please help :3.

Okay so what I want is a non-shiny, male, Timid/Modest Riolu with Inner Focus, HP Ice 70 and max special sweeper IVs. Corresponding with HP Ice 70 that would be 31/30/30/31/31/31 I have worked out (Manually because PPRNG crashes when I try searching for HP).

What I am working with is a male Lucario 29/22/8/13/28/31 and a shiny ditto 31/31/31/30/31/31. And no Everstone.

This is the seed I'm going for:

Now, when I'm hatching an egg to check for my shifted frame I get the highlighted offspring as a result no problem:

But when I'm using my Chatot's to shift the frame over 31 times I hatch an egg that isn't even on the list of nearby frames.
Suggestions please I've been doing this for days!

All I can think of is that when you try again you're being timer0 trolled. Are you absolutely sure you're hitting the right seed every time? Here's a way to check if you hit your seed when RNG breeding:
(Copied from TwilightBlade's RNG Guide located here: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?p=7464113#7464113)
step 11: optional shortcut
— Let's say that you have a really troublesome Pokémon to hatch, like Dratini or Larvesta. Upon completing your Chatter advancements, immediately collect the egg. Fly to the Pokémon League. Go to Victory Road and immediately enter a wild Pokémon battle (either by using Sweet Scent or turning your character in place). Catch it and find its approximate IVs.
— Go back to RNG Reporter's Main Menu. From the dropdown menu, change Method to Gen 5 IVs (Standard Seed). Change Starting Frame to 1. Click Generate.
— Look at Frames 14-20. If the caught Pokémon has roughly matching IVs on the table, you have successfully hit your seed. If there is no match, your egg will not be shiny flawless, but this saves you from hatching the wrong one.

This has helped me to know whether I was being timer0 trolled or if it was something else that wasn't working. It's also saved me time form hatching the wrong egg when I didn't hit my timer0. Hope this helps. ^^

I found an Entralink RNG Guide, but since Smogon is down, so is the guide. D: Here's the link though so when Smogon is back up you'll be able to view it: http://www.smogon.com/forums/group.php?do=discuss&group=&discussionid=8893

I haven't found any guides for 4th gen Cute Charm though, and since I haven't done much 4th Gen abuse I can't help you there. >.<

I'm positive I'm hitting the right seed, what can I do if I am being timer0 tolled? And I didn't think that was something that is an issue.

Absol June 29th, 2013 9:18 AM

Sometimes it's an issue and sometimes it isn't. You can try hitting the second at different times. If you're pressing A late in the second, you can try pressing A sooner for the same second. I've been doing that and usually I hit my seed no problem when I'm having trouble hitting my timer0. I'm not sure if I explained that right though. >.<

I agree with Iloveeevee. Something similar just happened to me recently while rng'ing a marill. If I pressed A immediately I would get a completely different result then if I hit A later.

Plumpyfoof July 1st, 2013 5:06 AM

Tried hitting the seed at different times, turns out if I hit it exactly as it turned over I hit the seed. Thanks a lot for that guys.

You will be happy to know that I am now a proud owner of Aurum the Lucario.
Ev trained: 4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe.
Haven't had a chance to properly use him yet but when I get around to hatching a Scyther and Ev training him as well I might take on the battle thing.

Yay! Congrats on getting Lucario :D Btw mia told me that tip so we all have her to thank for that. Thanks again mia! ^^

I think everyone has that timing issue every now and then (or all the time like me). xD

I wanted to go back to working on my collection of Dream World Pokemon in DreamBalls.... but it's been a few months since I was RNGing them. Does anyone know where there is a guide I can reference to get a refresher? I remember B/W is a lot like Gen IV hitting a delay, and that B2/W2 was "easier" although my Timer0 kept trolling me....

But with Smogon still down, and as near as anyone can tell it's going to be a while... I can't seem to find any other guides on Entralink RNGing. Does anyone have a guide somewhere they can share?

Oh, MY are you the little life saver Mia!!!

I waded my way through the various menu's on the archive of Smogon and FOUND IT! It's onder "In-Game" / "Guides" then "Dream World".... at the bottom of that page is a link to it. Strangely the link is to a thread on the forum, and I would think that would not be on the wayback machine... but apparently it is, maybe closed threads are? I don't know.... regardless, I got what I needed now!

THANK YOU!!!

Here is the direct link to the page that had what I was looking for in case anyone else is likewise in need of it:

RingoH July 3rd, 2013 11:23 AM

Morning All:

I had a recent experience I wanted to share, the following Pokemon are not available for trade, due mostly to the fact that they should be considered hacked. I asked Mac if it was ok before posting about this, due to the nature of using a cheat.

I really wanted to have a shiny Mew, which as we all know is impossible (not impossible, but the only legitimate shiny Mew would be one captured on Faraway Island in Emerald, which required the Old Sea Map, and that was only released as an event in Japan).

On my North American Emerald I started by using a gameshark to unlock the Old Sea Map. I had actually done this a long time ago, and captured a Mew. So, now not only did I need the Old Sea Map, but I needed a "Re-Battle Legendary" code. Please keep in mind that the rest of my tale involves that I used those codes.

Mew, like all legendaries in Emerald is generated via Method-1. If you do not know, Method-1 is not effected by Synchronize. So, you have to hit your seed exact.

To make matters worse, each legendary is going to offer you a slightly different shifted frame. If you are going on a quest to get all your Emeral legendaries as shiny, you need to re-calibrate for each one. I stood on Faraway Island, and entered Battle with Mew over a dozen times, just trying to calibrate for which frame I was hitting. I threw my master ball each time, as all I was attempting to do was calibrate. I actually found one during my calibration attempt that had two perfect IV's, which I ended up deciding to keep.

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/icon/151.pnghttp://www.pokecheck.org/i/notshiny.png #151 Mew ♁ (level 30) http://www.pokecheck.org/i/itm/001.png
OT: http://www.pokecheck.org/i/lang/2.png RINGO ♂ (Emerald, 49191/51162)
Brave - Synchronize - 10/31/31/11/23/11 - Untrained
Pound - Transform - Mega Punch - Metronome

My shiny frame I was attempting was only about 20 seconds in for me (Lucky me). Which meant that once I was done calibrating I was able to go right to work attempting the actual capture.

The fun began:
I tried for two hours. Resetting. Watching the timer. When I didn't face a shiny I reset again. About every tenth attempt I would capture again to verify that I was close to my seed. Each time I was within 10 frames of my desired frame. Close enough to not mess with the settings in Eon Timer.

I take a break for the night. Next day, an hour into trying, and checking what frame I hit I get my shiny frame. I wanted my Mew to be in a Premier ball, my favorite, and also for the challenge. I knock Mew down to 1hp with my false swiper, and start trying to capture. Eventually, Mew knocks itself out with struggle. *cry*.

Two more tries later, I hit the frame again. I false swiper to 1, I keep trying to put mew to sleep, but it won't stay asleep. I keep throwing premier balls. Finally, on my last premier ball I capture it. *whew*

http://sprites.pokecheck.org/sicon/151.pnghttp://www.pokecheck.org/i/shiny.png #151 PANTHRO (Mew) ♁ (level 30) http://www.pokecheck.org/i/itm/012.png

Now, here is where I have found what I believe to be an oddity. My first Mew above passed legality analysis:
https://www.pokecheck.org/?screenshot=5023696&la

However, the Shiny Mew, it DOES flag as a hack on the legality analysis. Reason stated as English Mew can not be shiny:
https://www.pokecheck.org/?screenshot=5023707&la

I am curious if anyone knows why this situation exists? Is it because the location met is flagged in Gen IV as "Pal Park" instead of "Faraway Island"? I would assume ANY Gen III Mew caught on Faraway Island should flag as hacked on an English Emerald... but if the location met is no longer Faraway Island, is Pokecheck now assuming that my Mew was an event Mew from that Generation?

Method-1 was VERY tedious. I would say more tedious than Gen IV delays. It WAS however well worth it, as the personal satisfaction of now owning a Pokemon I really wanted, and REALLY had to work for all the same is now in my pocession. (Not Only that, I cloned it on Emerald before sending to PalPark... I have every intention of getting as many Gen III ribbons on it as I can... This is going to be one special Mew when I am done.) I DO have every intention of completing more Gen III Legendaries now that I have done this once. I think Deoxys may be my next capture project. But I wonder what Shiny spread available to me I should aim for... There is a Calm Shiny spread about 45 minutes in for me, which has all states accept Speed above 20 (the speed is at only 4). As I don't competitively battle I don't typically aim for super perfect spreads, so maybe this is where I should aim on this one?

Would love to hear some feedback on my Mew experience... and if anyone wants to help me pick which shiny spread on my Emerald to aim for on my Deoxys, I would appreciate any suggestions.(ID: 49191 / SID: 51162). I have no intention of restarting my Emerald to be able to RNG my ID/SID for a specific spread. I have over 250 hours on that save file (and all my Pokeboxes are close to full)... I used to chain breed for super strong Pokemon before I knew how to RNG, and I can't justify killing that progress or going and buying another Emerald either. All my future Legendary RNG projects in Gen III will have to be on that save file. (For that matter, I have yet to capture the trio of Reggi's on Emerald, and should RNG those if I have the patience, so anyone who feels like helping me with suggestions on spreads to aim for that would be super appreciated as well).

Thanks for letting me share this experience with you all. I hope my experience can help you decide if Method-1 Gen III is for you or not. That resetting can be a major pain, but I think it was well worth it for the trophy. It may not be worth if for everyone though. Also, as Gen III is becoming such a source of fun for me, I would be happy to advise anyone looking to do Gen III captures (I am not yet good at RNGing eggs in Gen III, captures only).

Cheers,
Ringo

tabor62 July 3rd, 2013 11:29 AM

One thing before I explain the Mew thing with Pokecheck, we can't see the legality analyses for those two. Now the thing with Mew, is that the recognize English Faraway Island Mews as legit because of an oversight on their part. Quite a simple explanation if you think about it, though I'm too lazy to ask them about, plus they're mean ;.;

RingoH July 3rd, 2013 11:42 AM

I think it must be more than an oversight. There must be a reason. I think it probably can not tell the difference between a Faraway Island Mew, and an event Mew from Gen III. Only the Faraway Island can be shiny. But I am too afraid to ask them, as like you say "they are mean." I assume part of their answer is going to involve that I know the Mew is hacked. I didn't do this capture to try to trade and pass off as legit, so I don't need anyone there jumping down my throat.

I wonder why you can't see the legality analysis. Did I need to do something other than copy the link?

Cordelia July 3rd, 2013 11:45 AM

Thanks for sharing, Ringo. That's definitely an oversight on their part and would need to be taken up with them, but good luck. I think they have a thread on project pokemon if you want to post your experience there and the results from Pokecheck. Nice trophies, though. I have a HoO Arceus myself so I understand wanting to have an unobtainable trophy. :-)

I will consider bringing it to their attention... But do you have any clue on what I am doing wrong when I try to share my legality anyalsis with you?

One of these days I will get around to my HoO Arceus too. It is rather sad to me that they never released the flute legitematly. My next Gen IV project though I think will be a shiny Manaphy. Sticking to my Gen III Legends, and some more Dream World Pokemon for now though.

Too hot to be outside... Got to work on my Dream World RNG's on my Black. Still have a few left to do, but here's the first five. I have way too many waiting on my White, so getting to work on White next.

junior403 July 9th, 2013 3:35 PM

I have successfully RNG'ed standard seed mons before, but could someone help me with this one?
I'm attempting to RNG an Excadrill on White. On the Time Finder Settings I've chosen Standard Seed > Cave Spot Pokémon and got my Seed.
On the main window, PIDRNG > Wild Pokémon (Cave Spot), and found my results.

Now, how should I generate the dust clouds? Should I chatot-advance up to my desired result, and try to get the cloud to appear in less than 20 steps?
Please tell me if I did anything wrong.

Any help is appreciated

Yes, we are but it can cause a lot of debate. If you want help finding your parameters you are on your own.

WingedDragon July 13th, 2013 5:55 PM

Two questions. 1. Will most of the RNG tips apply to non shinies. I dont need shinies I just wanted flawless ones? 2. How do i set up a profile?

Cordelia July 14th, 2013 3:56 AM

Yes, RNG can work for non-shiny too. And just open the RNG Reporter profiles and enter your information and hit save. :3

Do I need the Secret Id to?

Cordelia July 14th, 2013 7:17 PM

For non-shiny, no. You do not need your SID.

WingedDragon July 14th, 2013 8:12 PM

Regards to my 3ds why is that delay so important to note? I know that it delays and the time sounds correct. Just want to know why its important.

Squirrel July 15th, 2013 3:44 AM

Do you guys prefer to RNG for shiny or non-shiny Pokémon?

I personally prefer non-shiny. First off it's a lot easier and takes much less time, but also because having too many shinies seems kind of boring haha. I prefer for my shiny Pokémon to be more random/chance like they were designed to be, but whenever I'm training a competitive team I ensure to RNG the lot of them.

retinaburn July 15th, 2013 4:59 AM

Adrian: In RNG it is crucially important to hit your seed (game launch time w/ other parameters involved) at a specific time down to the second. 3DS games have a bit different launch time than a DS Lite, which is commonly used for RNG purposes. 3DS launch time is roughly 8 seconds, as opposed to 1. Plus, there is no clock with a second hand on the 3DS display, so you have to rely on other means such as eon/zomgtimer for synchronization with an external clock.

Needless to say, in my personal opinion, there is less to worry about when RNG'ing on a Lite.

There's only 2 reasons why I'd rng shiny stuff... and that's because it's easy to tell when you've gotten it right and it's got really nice colors. Otherwise I like to rng non-shiny because shiny is everywhere now and just doesn't appeal to me. And I like to avoid disasters like Hariyama.

Plus, there is no clock with a second hand on the 3DS display, so you have to rely on other means such as eon/zomgtimer for synchronization with an external clock.

My problem is I cant afford even a used ds or dsi atm

Cordelia July 16th, 2013 4:46 AM

For me it matters on the Pokemon. If I like its shiny, I do shiny, otherwise I do non-shiny. :x

Ooka July 16th, 2013 5:48 AM

Like Mac, I'd only want a shiny if it were one of my favorites (Beldum). Otherwise too many ruins the fun of having a shiny. D:

In regards the current topic, I usually do Shiny because my goal is to just breed everything I can Shiny at least once. Then after that I'll just breed whatever o 3o

Cordelia July 16th, 2013 2:51 PM

Nice work! It's always nice to see new RNG abusers n_n

WingedDragon July 16th, 2013 7:43 PM

when getting my seeds down. will any time do like if I wanted to start at the top of the minute?

Cordelia July 17th, 2013 4:55 AM

Uh, you can do whatever the seed says? I'm not totally sure what you're asking though. :(

Thats what im figuring out I dont understand what the seed is asking for

Cordelia July 17th, 2013 6:00 PM

It gives you a time to start the game. You need to do it at that time. :)

So if a time is 16:50 I do it at 4:50pm?

tabor62 July 17th, 2013 6:13 PM

Depends on your DS model. If you are using a DS Phat or Lite, you start one second early, ie. 16:49. Likewise, for a 3DS you would start at either 16:42 or 16:43. I'm not very knowledgeable about the 3DS delay, but I heard it varies between 7 ad 8 seconds. I dunno about DSi though.

Also 16:50 is different from 4:50. 16:50 is 4:50pm, not am.

I am aware of that if you read my last post

Cordelia July 17th, 2013 7:23 PM

OK seems like there's some confusion here. For example, your seed is 16:50:50. You'd start the game on your 3DS at 16:50:42 to account for your eight second delay.

Yes?

Yes?

Ya I just have clock on it no secs on my profile

Cordelia July 18th, 2013 8:26 AM

Use eontimer's custom clock. Set it to 42000 -- that'll be 42 seconds. Start it when you change the time. I did this on my DSi when I had it and it worked OK.

WingedDragon July 18th, 2013 1:06 PM

Where is the custom clock?

tabor62 July 18th, 2013 1:22 PM

Not sure if this is the most recent version or not, but you can go here to download it. It's the Eontimer that Mac was just talking about.

I've never used it myself as I mostly stick to Gen V RNG on a DS Lite so I can't help you with that though it's mostly just an external clock. Though if you already downloaded and can't find what Mac was talking about I can't really help you there, sorry >.<

Is Chatot a requirement? Or is it possible to go w/o. Also Can someone point how to set up eggs on the steps. I dont see it perhaps Im missing it

Cordelia July 18th, 2013 3:01 PM

Chatot is a requirement -- you can download a pair from pokecheck.

Absol July 18th, 2013 4:07 PM

Yes, Chatots are a requirement, unless you rather save your game hundreds of times instead. For setting up for eggs, here's Step 1 from TwilightBlade's guide:

step 1
— Gather good/flawless daycare parents and an Everstone. Know IVs of parents.
— Give Everstone to the parent with a desirable natue. Do NOT give Power Items to the parents. Deposit them into the Daycare and ride around on your bike until they produce an egg.
— Have a party of 5 or less Pokémon, including helpful Pokémon: Chattering Chatot, Quick Egg Hatcher, Flier. Optional: Sweet Scenter.
— Save your game directly in front of the Day-Care Old Man.
— Open the RNG Reporter.
— Click the Time Finder button.

Gonzo July 19th, 2013 12:46 AM

SO I finally managed to get one of my Jirachi:

Jirachi http://www.pokecheck.org/i/lang/1.png (lvl 50)

Nature: Careful || Ability: Serene Grace || OT: デコロラ (07013)
IVs: 31/31/31/31/31/31
Healing Wish|Psychic|Swift|Meteor Mash

I was too lazy to hit any keypresses, but when I found starting frame 45 and my target frame 46 with just one keypress, I decided to make the effort of holding a button, lmao.

I also RNGed the 1st prize in NecrumWarrior's tourney:

Victini http://www.pokecheck.org/i/lang/1.png (lvl 15)
http://sprites.pokecheck.org/icon/494.png http://www.pokecheck.org/i/itm/007.png

IVs: 31/2/30/31/31/31 [HP Ice 70]

In this abuse, laziness took a dent on me again - two keypresses, starting frame = target frame.

TOO MUCH EFFORT, GOD! I'M SO EXHAUSTED INSANE, lol.

Gonzo July 19th, 2013 9:58 AM

LOL, Dragon 68 just says you don't care about Hidden Power.

Also, I'd rather have 0 Atk than perfect HP with 2 or 3 Atk, because I can receive less confusion and Foul Play damage.

I need your help guys. Has anyone here id/sid abused a 4th gen game in a dsi? Does the procedure change in any way? I've been stuck for days trying to id/sid abuse my SS, but oddly enough, RNG reporter won't find any result as if I'm not hitting anything. I need a delay to continue, but I'm sure I'm doing everything right, Iloveeevee can vouch for me. Please halp me! (I know I need a ds lite)

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but can any of the gift pokemon in Black 2 other than the shiny dragon be shiny? I wasted a lot of effort trying to RNG the Castelia Eevee to be female and shiny and apparently, It can't. Just want to make sure before I try to do something like this again.

I'm not sure about shiny, but I know for sure the gift Eevee will always be male. There's also another gift Pokemon that will always be shiny. After you beat Black Tower in B2, you can receive a shiny Gible. For Pokemon that can never be shiny, there's Reshiram, Zekrom, Victini, any Wondercard Pokemon that is not already shiny, the event Zoroark, any Pokemon from the Dream World, and Hidden Grotto Pokemon. Ok, thanks for the info. Does anyone know if you can RNG an egg in one game and hatch it flawless and shiny in another?

Yes you can. The IVs are set when you pick up the egg anyway. The shinyness is determined by the TID/SID combination of the game you hatch on. Just change your TID/SID in your parameters to match the game you want to hatch it on.

Absol July 20th, 2013 8:49 PM

I dunno if it works for anyone else, but I tried doing what mac said and it didn't hatch shiny. :/ I got the exact IVs and nature I wanted but it wasn't shiny. I don't know if I did anything wrong though. >.<

Yes I did, lazy y'know. I'm going through and finding everything that's good Adamant with the Ability 1 that doesn't need a Hidden Power. Saves a lot of time y'know o 3o I'll start doing captures after I get my emblem and then beat the game.

Does anyone know how to RNG Shaking grass, surf spots/fish spots(dark circle)?

Thanks

Gonzo July 22nd, 2013 10:36 PM

1. find a place with no NPC (it's a must).
2. find a narrow patch (1 or two tiles) of grass, a piece of land without grass near narrow piece of water or a cave without NPCs.
3. hit your seed (each of these encounters have their own method) and verify it with Chatot flips.
4. Start walking to see if you can activate shaking spot before you reach 128 steps. If yes, stand in front of it, advance remaining frames using chatot flips and walk/surf into the spot. Doing this advances 1 frame, so be sure to stop advancing one before your desired frame. If not, repeat step 3 and add one chatot flip while verifying the frame. Rinse and repeat about 5-6 times. If it doesn't help, find another seed.

Troubleshooting:
1. In cave, you have to count all your steps as each step advances your PIDRNG frame by 2 and each turn does exactly the same thing. (DAT REPEL) The target frame should be high for shiny, so you won't miss it by walking around the cave.
2. Making 128 steps will advance your IVRNG by X where X = number of pokemon in your party. This means the desired IVs will change, so you might want to find a seed for the frame equal to number of your party members + 1 so you can gain additional 128 steps.
3. The 128 step counter does not reset when you turn your game off. This means, that after just 1 step, the IV frame can change, so be careful or just find a seed for higher IV frame (equal to number of mons in party +1)

I hope it'll help!

Good luck, this kind of abuse is a pain in the neck, so you have to be really patient.

What I've RNG'ed today :D (I'll edit it later and add more 'mons, I'm taking a break)

Is it possible to do tests outside the time frame?

I'm sorry, I really don't understand what you're trying to ask. Can you be more specific please?

WingedDragon July 26th, 2013 4:10 PM

Is it possible to test to see if I RNG my pokes correctly. Outside the time constraints that the program gives me?

Cordelia July 26th, 2013 4:14 PM

The program gives you the time that you can get those Pokemon. If you go outside it, they won't be RNG'd.

shayminskyforme88 July 26th, 2013 8:42 PM

Is it possible to RNG Fished Pokemon in areas with NPCs?

I believe so, albeit quite difficult as you need to take into account their movements, although for trainer npcs, using the vs seeker and battling them (if using gen 4) helps to avoid random npc advancements.

Thanks for the info although I RNG on Gen V. Nice that you are able to RNG on Gen IV, I can't seem to . :P
Update: Finally captured it after it struggled last week, I decided to Synch it with another nature though.

Nice RNG! Keep it up. My newest (and yes, I know it'd be cooler if I captured it in Hidden Grotto in B2W2 but I wanted it German).

Are two chatots required or is it just easier with two

Tyrael July 28th, 2013 11:07 AM

A lot easier with two, allows you to advance to your desired frame a lot easier.

WingedDragon July 28th, 2013 11:53 AM

For RNGing an egg which seed do I set it at? Two where do I find such settings for eggs? Also If I am understanding this correctly for the IVs does it have to have a parent with 31 in desired IVs? What if the Desired IV is 0

Once you generate your list of seeds... the results will vary according to your desired outcome. IE. looking for flawless shinies will result in far less seed results to choose from.

Per the Art of RNG guide on first page... refer to the hatching flawless shinies section. Step 5 illustrates seed results that you can choose from. Choose the one that you think you can best achieve, with the desired outcomes you are looking for. Depending on what you've searched for you may see different results for nature shiny/non shiny, IVs, ability, etc. I like to choose a seed at a second of somewhere between 15-25 seconds, that way I am not sitting around for minutes at a time in case I miss my seed and have to retry.

You do not need parents with 31 in desired IVs.... but if you are going for flawless or near flawless parents, the probability and resulting seed list will be greater if you have flawless parents.

WingedDragon July 28th, 2013 2:47 PM

I am setting up my profile I believe

OK i am looking for my actual seconds for my 3ds. It says I should load my game 8 seconds before time im targeting. I did that. I did the search it says actual seconds is 25. I started my game at 17 seconds. Now the instructions are stating that I need to find the search time 8 seconds AFTER my targer time. Which would be 33 seconds. Did I do this correctly or did I miss something.

This is what I see.

Ya, that looks about right. Because you're on Black 2, you'll have a range of Timer0's. So you'll want to do that as many times as you're comfortable to find your particular range of timer0's. You could have a range of around 4 common timer0's that your set up will commonly hit.

Melinda July 28th, 2013 4:45 PM

I'm jealous of everyone's RNGs. My KR RNG still isn't working right. :|
