Arc January 18th, 2013 7:41 PM

Leech Seed.

I love this move due to the fact that it leeches life and I gain HP, nothing more to say LOL.

dragonfly_dust January 18th, 2013 10:03 PM

Protect. Useful to any pokemon you give to it!!

Starry Windy January 18th, 2013 11:40 PM

Calm Mind because it raises both Special Attack and Special Defense of my Pokemon in battle.

RoreyG January 19th, 2013 3:02 PM

Swords Dance- Stack up 3 of these in a row (and not faint) and you'll be OHKO machine.

Hikamaru January 19th, 2013 3:34 PM

Swords Dance.

That move helped save my Lucario and Excadrill in Black 2 a lot. The 2+ Attack boost is always handy.

And also Nasty Plot, its Special equivalent.

XtinaIsMeLuvinWWE January 21st, 2013 8:49 AM

Agreed with Ravenfreak - Toxic + Leech Seed = gold!! :D

Also love Spore, Parasect's one of my faves and it's a great move :)

thedestinedblade January 21st, 2013 12:41 PM

Always a fan of stat boosting moves. So moves like Dragon Dance, Hone Claws, and Quiver Dance are a must have.

Shadow Shed was pretty decent too.

There's always been something about Safeguard for me. Not sure why, but trainers who use mostly poison types are rendered a load less annoying.

dungeonmaster201 February 3rd, 2013 11:01 AM

A crobat, with this moveset
Mean look,
Toxic
Confuse ray
insert damage inducing attack here.
but on its own I have to give props to doubleteam

Caelus February 3rd, 2013 12:44 PM

Sword dance and stealth rock are my favorites. Sword dance gives you a 2+ attack raise while stealth rock can inflict a lot of damage on the next pokemon your opponent uses (especially if its a dual type and both are weak to rock - takes away half of their health).

ChocolateCrunch February 3rd, 2013 1:13 PM

Curse on Pokemon like Lickilicky. Yes, the Speed sucks but with 4x ATK and DEF, it's just a big, fat killing/stalling machine.

The amount of change Stealth Rock has caused to the metagame is all the more reason to dislike it. Well, one says 'change' but at this point it's really just a silly status quo of a field condition that only serves to stagnate competitive battling. It's too powerful for a one turn setup, too ubiquitous with the large number of monsters able to learn it, and thus demands that every team be made with consideration for the foe potentially using it (which serves only to narrow the pool of candidates), so it may as well be banned in general competitive play.

Thunder Wave. Mainly because paralysis lasts much longer than sleep, and still helps to catch pokemon, even if it is slightly less potent.

SoulSilver10112 February 23rd, 2013 5:12 PM

I like protect... wastes some of your opponent's PP.

Hydro Pumper February 23rd, 2013 8:48 PM

I love the move Substitute. <3 It's pretty versatile since it can be used for a stalling/defensive Pokemon (with Toxic/Leech Seed/Protect etc), or offensive Pokemon with set up moves (like Dragon Dance on Kingdra, or Bulk Up/Calm Mind users). :)

mikey February 24th, 2013 12:15 PM

Thunder Wave has always been my favorite for this category. It helps me in sticky situations. I can move first and the enemy can't because they are too paralyzed >:D (most of the time anyway)

Iny Gage February 24th, 2013 10:14 PM

Will-O-Wisp
Its a nice way to give you some nasty damage as well as cripple an attacker.

theSyko501 February 25th, 2013 12:09 AM

I really like nasty plot just for the sound it makes

Kikaito plush February 25th, 2013 9:19 AM

I really like Mean look as it really helps with roaming legends.
also there is forsight which really helped me when fighting ghosts.

Thursday March 8th, 2013 11:46 AM

I love how a lot of people said toxic when the OP said non-damaging, non-healing, and non-status ailments XD

Anywho, my fav has to be sand-attack. Lower opponents accuracy? Heck yes! I spam the crap out of that when fighting Red (which is as bad as it sounds XD ), especially when he pulls out snorlax.

imevil March 8th, 2013 12:17 PM

Swords Dance/Nasty Plot make me feel so strong. I hate Attract, especially on the enemies...

B-L-A-Z-E March 8th, 2013 3:14 PM

I really like Cotton Guard and Dragon Dance, but unfortunately, the only only Pokemon that can do both of these is one of the Pokemon I hate the most. (Altaria if you didn't get where I was going with that)

Munchlax11 March 8th, 2013 3:52 PM

Spore is great because it puts the opponent asleep.... 100 % accuracy!

Austin March 8th, 2013 6:29 PM

Swords Dance/Dragon Dance/Nasty Plot/Cotton Guard.

All really great moves used correctly.

Tackle March 8th, 2013 8:01 PM

My favorite non-damaging and non-healing are Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, Quiver Dance, Nasty Plot and Cosmic Power.

They're all boosting move, they're very useful if you use them the right way.
