Easiest Gym Leader

I saw a post about who was the hardest gym leader so i thought that a thread about who was the easiest will be good too.
For me, Erika was the easiest. I just had to battle with either Charizard or Pidgeot and there was no losing possible. It was so easy! Now what about you guys?

Captain Gizmo January 24th, 2013 9:35 AM

I would say Blaine. Because by the time you get to him, you already got a water Pokemon and your Pokemon are high leveled so even if it's a grass type, you wouldn't have trouble beating him.

Seth Rollins January 24th, 2013 10:19 AM

Erika too! My Charizard KO'd her team. It was soooooo easy. Add a poll for this thread.

Kikaito plush January 24th, 2013 10:27 AM

I found Lt.surge easy with my ground type Sandslash digging through his party no problem.

Brendino January 24th, 2013 6:56 PM

As long as you have a moderately trained Bulbasaur or Squirtle, Brock is incredibly easy to get by, since you've got the type advantage over relatively low-leveled Pokemon. I've always found Blaine easy, too, but I'd still have to say it was much easier to get by Brock.

The Amazing Justin January 24th, 2013 8:47 PM

Brock, anyone with a Bulbasaur or Squirtle can back me up.

obiwan362 January 25th, 2013 4:38 PM

Brock was always the ultimate pushover. I always picked Squirtle to start and always trained a Caterpi into a Butterfree. So, it was way too easy.

Seki January 25th, 2013 6:12 PM

Brock, regardless of whatever starter you choose, you will stomp him in ease.

Well, unless you're playing Yellow.

Tackle January 25th, 2013 10:37 PM

Brock is easiest to beat, whichever Starter you choose, Bulbasaur with Vine Whip, Squirtle with Bubble, and Charmander with METAL CLAW! And he has only 2 Pokémon. =/

Gyardosamped January 26th, 2013 7:59 AM

IMO, Brock was the easiest gym leader in Kanto.

satotaku January 26th, 2013 8:51 AM

Poor brock lol he's abit too easy though if you chose Squirtle you're set.

Caelus January 28th, 2013 9:50 PM

If I started out with Squirtle, Brock tends to be the easiest because of the type advantage, but he's pretty easy no matter which starter I choose (thanks to charmander learning metal claw), but if I choose charmander Erika becomes a cakewalk.

Schwan January 29th, 2013 10:27 AM

I can't even vote because I've beaten them so many times that I don't have an issue with them anymore.

The one time though I battled Blaine with Arcanine at level 38 and all Blaine did was use fire moves, so Arcanine got stronger every turn...took out Blaine with an Arcanine at level 38, no damage. Easiest battle ever I guess.

Nusdogg January 29th, 2013 6:11 PM

Brock of course. Knocked him out in no time with my Butterfree.

Hikamaru January 29th, 2013 8:43 PM

Personally, I think Brock. He's easy if you picked Bulbasaur or Squirtle but even if you choose Charmander you can catch Mankey nearby whose Fighting-type attacks also do the job well.

Evey February 2nd, 2013 5:34 AM

Erikas the easiest for me since I chose Charmander. But if you choose Squirtle or Bulbasaur then probably Brock or Giovanni are the easiest. Misty is also pretty easy for Bulbasaur-choosers. Squirtles kill Blaine and Charmanders burn Koga. Lt. Surge is dangerous generally but especially to Squirtle-ppls. Honestly its all about whatever starter you choose and the type of pokemon you train. However, leaders like Sabrina are pretty well-rounded I guess..

vaporeon7 February 3rd, 2013 5:27 PM

Blaine was easy for me, seeing as I always use water type Pokémon.

Halipoke February 4th, 2013 8:55 AM

As I always started the game with squirtle, Brock was the easiest. Seems like I'm not alone in this. :D

Fransferdy February 5th, 2013 12:19 PM

Rock, both Bulbasaure and Squirtle destroys him.

Aryan143 February 8th, 2013 8:49 PM

Brock. Two Water Guns and gone!

SoraTheTruth February 8th, 2013 8:59 PM

Brock because my charmeleon learned metal claw and Erika because she's a grass user and my two strongest pokemon by then were charizard and pigeotto

RenegadeClyde February 10th, 2013 9:27 AM

Erika and Blaine were the easiest. I've slain Erika's team using only Growlithe's Flame wheel, and Blaine's team using only Vaporeon.

KriegStein February 10th, 2013 9:29 AM

Brock without question. He is such a pushover I can hardly accept him as a gymleader. :/

Iceman3k February 11th, 2013 7:28 PM

I defeated Erika in under 60 seconds. That's how I figured she was the easiest.

Sweets Witch February 11th, 2013 9:47 PM

Brock, although he was TOO easy so I'm going with LT Surge. They put a cave full of Digletts right near his gym as if to nudge you and wink.
