WingedDragon January 28th, 2013 5:25 AM

Ive used just Pikachu in Gen 1 and it was like level 67 or something. Gen 2. Ive done it with just one but it had to be totodile.

xxReshiramxx January 28th, 2013 8:55 AM

I've used a Lv 100 Zapdos on the Elite Four I was able to do it with just that one on Yellow version.

Kikaito plush January 28th, 2013 9:24 AM

I have used Lucario lv 99 to beat the leugue 4 in pokemon pearl before.

Arcturus. January 28th, 2013 9:54 AM

Back in Leafgreen, I used a level 100 Mewtwo to take out the league and Champion. He knew Flamethrower, Psychic, Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam, so he had a easy time with each league member.

Captain Gizmo January 28th, 2013 10:23 AM

It was 3. Blastoise, Articuno & Gloom.

Sweets Witch January 28th, 2013 12:22 PM

I can do it with just Swampert in Sapphire, but it requires an Ether or two.

Moist January 28th, 2013 12:52 PM

When I was playing my first pokemon game (Diamond) I was blasting through the elite four with only a level 68 infernape and a level 66 Dialga. Bronzong was the worst, though...

Killjoy January 28th, 2013 5:32 PM

Back in Cristal, I would do a solo run every day with my Typhlosion, from around level 60, up to level 100. Some times I would do it twice a day, cause it sure didn't give me much XP in later on lol

Schwan January 28th, 2013 8:40 PM

Blaziken in Gen III when I ALWAYS used him. Went through with Crobat against the Hoenn Elite Four, I think he was level 77 before I started a new game. He went on a tear every time we went through. EVEN against Glacia. He was faaaaaaaast and very high attack as well.

Come to think of it, I actually used to do the exact same thing lol. I remember his moveset too, it was Thunderpunch, Fire Punch, Earthquake, and Cut lol.

I beat the Hoenn E4 constantly with my Suicune. It was maybe.. 80-some? I don't remember.

I think, for like the "first time" beating the E4, I used 5 Pokemon in FireRed. I remember Jynx, Raichu, Rhydon, Arcanine and Vaporeon. I can't recall anything else. And I also remember Jynx and Rhydon did most the work.

smurf January 28th, 2013 9:38 PM

the least i used was 2 i used it was my alakazam and charizard

Brendino January 28th, 2013 11:58 PM

I know I've done it with just one Pokemon at least once before- I'm thinking it was with the event Celebi on HeartGold. I also got a hacked Spiritomb with Wonder Guard over the GTS on Platinum, and rather than release it right away, I had a little fun taking it through the Elite Four, with only a level 5 Magikarp for backup. I won, but neglected the fact it could still get hurt from confusion, and nearly had to bring in that Magikarp at one point.

GhastlyGastly January 29th, 2013 1:40 AM

I've defeated the Elite Four in every generation singlehandedly with Mewtwo at Lv. 100.

LightningAlex January 29th, 2013 7:44 AM

In FR, I usually defeat the whole League with either my level 100 Mewtwo or Dragonite, but I'm not sure if it counts since my party is always full of weak Pokemon I level up with the EXP-share. I don't use them in battle at all, though.

Definitely this. Typhlosion had some really great coverage! :)

Also with Leaf Green I used to do them with Venusaur, Magmar and Poliwrath.

Corvus of the Black Night January 29th, 2013 9:13 AM

I once used a level 100 fearow just to see if I could do it without items.

Because fearow.

Yoshikko January 29th, 2013 9:22 AM

Uhh, I've always had 6 Pokémon on me but there was one time when I only had to use one so I suppose that counts. But it had flawless IVs and EVs so it's not much of an achievement haha. Oh and it was a lvl 100 Tyranitar.

Gyardosamped January 29th, 2013 9:33 AM

I've done this with both my gen 1 and 2 games. In my old Red, I used a level 60+ Charizard, and I also did the same with Typlosion in the old Silver. I haven't done this for the past few generations because I wanted to catch more than one Pokémon. I don't like just having one on my team. :p My teams usually consist of having four main Pokémon with two HM slaves.

Overlord Drakow January 30th, 2013 1:49 AM

I've used just the one many times going through the E4 when I used to level my Pokemon to 100 the hard way. Stuff like Salamence, Flygon, Altaria and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Arlo January 31st, 2013 2:08 PM

1 - a Stoutland, about level 70, in White, in a solo challenge.
Probably the most boring game of Pokemon I've ever played, honestly.

halcyonic February 1st, 2013 6:47 AM

Just 1 time and 1 Pokemon in Pokemon White, I took my darn Kyurem and gave the E4 a go, hehe..... just to know what I should expect when I face the E4 the next round with my original team.

BanditThePikachu February 1st, 2013 12:02 PM

I beat it with a Typhlosion, a Nidoqueen, and a Lugia in Soulsilver.
I can't remember the level, though. Somewhere in the fifty's.
It was miserable though, I had to use a lot of items.

Nolafus February 1st, 2013 9:01 PM

Because of a challenge I beat the Elite 4 the first time with 2 pokemon Beartic and Scrafty on Black 2. They actually did very well against everybody and they covered eachother's weaknesses except for fighting. Marshal was almost impossible. they were both level 80

I had Thunder Punch, Flame Wheel, Earthquake and Flamethrower but either way Thunder Punch is the important move here. The G/S/C Elite Four wasn't particularly difficult.
