Psy - Gangnam Style You should all know it by now, but oh god it is such a crazy song. |
"Think Not Forever" - Lost Horizon
Extremely obscure band, but they rock extremely hard. |
Britney Spears - Sometimes I still don't find her annoying despite that horrible lip-synching act she did a few years back. |
Wind Waker Staff Credits - Koji Kondo, Toru Minegishi, Kenta Nagata, Hajime Wakai Favorite song in my favorite Zelda game. :] |
Crash Bandicoot Soundtrack - Hog Wild/Whole Hog I always adored the music in this game, and I love the fast pacing of this one. |
Been listening to The Classic Crime's albums Phoenix and Vagabonds. Gonna delve into more of their stuff later too, because both of these albums are sooo good. |
A major classic for those who grew up on id Software FPS's. |
Save the World is an awesome song by Swedish House Mafia, but my love of music is mostly acoustic stuff, and this cover gives me the best of both worlds. |
Spyro The Dragon Soundtrack - Opening Theme Again, I'm going to share some more nostalgic video game music of my childhood, the fact that the entire music soundtrack to this game was penned by Stewart Copeland made me love it so much. No wonder why it's so great! |
Been listening to this guys stuff for quite some time now, and I just can't get enough of it. |
Pierce the Veil - Hell Above This is a band that I've never managed to get to grips with, other than this one song. I've always looked at them and considered them to be standard 'emo' rock-pop, but I heard this song playing in HMV a month or so ago and it's slowly working its way into my top 10 playlist. It's really different from most of what I listen to so it's a nice break and it's great to vent to :D |
Major Happy - Fred V & Grafix THIS IS WAY TOO HAPPY AND THE VIDEO IS WAY TOO HAPPY AND EVERYTHING IS WAY TOO HAPPY. But seriously - one of the happiest without being absolutely obnoxious songs I've heard for a good while. Really into this right now, although I do tend to prefer some of their other stuff. |
Five Finger Death Punch - Bad Company Way better than the original of this song, in my opinion. |
Fragma - You Are Alive I feel so sad for how neglected these sorts of songs are. |
Sonata Arctica - Deathaura I haven't listened to this in such a long time. Still know all the lyrics, though. |
Two Door Cinema Club- Next Year
Was browsing Facebook, it suggests that I listen to this. I would of either way cause I love Two Door Cinema Club. |
Excellent for listening to while studying. |
I blame a certain PC user .Aero for getting me addicted to this song. Wouldn't call myself a 1D fan but this song is pretty. |
Hole - Celebrity Skin Who could ever remember the awesome voice of Courtney Love? |
"I am the doer who undoes, the creator who un-creates. And yet I would gladly be the destroyer who un-destroys, the dangerous one who protects." |
Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You Such an awesome 90's classic. |
Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence? |
Bring Me The Horizon - Sempiternal [Album]
There's a playlist on YouTube streaming the entire album, and I've been listening to it the past couple of days. I really, really love this album! It's different from their other albums; very melodic, and the clean singing was a nice surprise. I cannot wait until this album is released! Only thirty days left, yeah! |
Obey these theater rules or so help me God, I WILL BREAK INTO YOUR HOUSE AND TEAR YOUR WIFE IN HAAAAALLLLFFF!!!!!!!! |
We Ain't Them - Childish Gambino Album: R O Y A L T Y Say what you like about him, I really think Gambino's done well for himself between his acting career and his music which, surprisingly, is actually pretty decent imo. He's a long shot short of the best rappers out there but he's got a weird way of making what he does interesting and catchy without being, for lack of a better word, awful. Maybe I'd say he sometimes sounds a bit tacky but... meh. I like it anyway! |
Hold On Till May - Pierce The Veil I never gave this song a chance until a few weeks ago, but it's actually really nice. |
Best breakup song EVER. |
A Fine Frenzy - Blow Away
This song randomly got in my head today and I decided to listen to it. It brings back some good nostalgia despite it not being that old. It's one of those songs that make you tap your foot or clap along to the beat and dance. I see it alot of people dance around and clap to when she performs it in concert. |
"Orgasm = Love" - Psychostick
There goes any remaining family friendliness in this topic. |
I have no idea how or why, but dang this song is catchy. |
Emma Bunton - What Took You So Long More solo hits from former Spice Girls, in this case Baby Spice. |
"Dead Embryonic Cells" - Sepultura
Classic Sepultura is the best Sepultura. |
The Natatorium - Burning Out
Rather unknown band, but there's this station called Air 1 that I listen to that plays this song. It gets in my head constantly and I'm always singing the chorus. |
"Old" - Machine Head
If Jesus came down, he'd be shocked... |
Stars by Youngblood Hawke This one's way better than there single "We Come Running," imo. |
Sleeping With Sirens - Roger Rabbit A nice acoustic song off their latest EP. |
"Melancholy" - Iced Earth
One of my favorite songs by these guys. |
Two Door Cinema Club - Something Good Can Work My fave song from this Irish three-piece band. Definitely worth a listen. |
Popped up in my suggestions on Youtube, and it's a rather well done medley |
Ratchet & Clank 3 Soundtrack - Qwark's Hideout Along with being one of my fave game franchises (despite only playing the original trilogy), R&C also had some of my fave video game music ever, penned by a guy known as David Bergeaud. It's a bit more serious compared to Stewart Copeland's work on Spyro The Dragon but I guess the music was why I was hooked on Ratchet & Clank so much. This was actually my fave track from the third R&C game cos of how sorrow it sounded, and it fits my usual gloomy persona as a whole. |
Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out
One of their best songs but one of their worst videos. |
The Pussycat Dolls - Wait A Minute I have to say they were the worst girl group I ever listened to, when Carmit (the red-haired one) left their music went totally downhill for me. |
July - Youth Lagoon Album: The Year Of Hibernation One of the very very very very very few songs that can actually make me well up if I think hard enough about it. An incredible track from one of my favourite albums that, we'll say, reminds me of someone particularly special. So yeah - much love for this song. <3 If you do happen to listen to it and you decide you like it, then please go check out the whole album. It's wonderful. They've actually a new one out too just a few days back now which I need to be picking up some stage. |
Red - Feed the Machine self harm reference near the beginning, so ignore this post if that'll bother you. This was my first favorite song in ages. c: |
Been listening to Monstercat songs for the past little while now. |
Can't beat a bit of metal-cover pokemon.
|
"Permanent Changes in Consciousness" - Wolves in the Throne Room
Sometimes I love it when a band gives you a nice ambient piece before blasting you in the face with the next track. |
Planet Funk - Chase The Sun The quirkiness of this video is very contradicting to the song itself if you know what I mean. |
A song that describes my very being, word for word...
Love Machine, by The Miracles! Too new to embed a video, but it should be easy enough to find if you really need it. Such passion, such... Oh, I'm sure the song will describe how I am. ;D |
Beneath your Beautiful- Labyrinth
I can't describe this song well enough. It is one of my favourites with a wonderful meaning behind it, I can't help but smile every time this comes on TV or a radio. The lyrics are also great and honestly if you haven't listened to it yet, you definitely should! :) |
"Down to None" - Machine Head
So heard they just fired long time bassist Adam Duce and I was like "....damn, that sucks." Apparently his heart just was no longer in the band. |
Rex Riot - Luv Machine
Normally the name alone would turn me away but after hearing the beat by the time the lyrics came in I couldn't help but grin. |
Been looking for some more stuff with Adam Young, and stumbled across this. Its got a nice, unique feel to it, and I'm enjoying it. :) |
Jet – Cold Hard Bitch
Liked this song years ago even thought I didn't even know what ***** meant. |
"Unforgiven" - Exhorder
I wish they'd make a third album already. |
Forekast - Lifer. Something about this one just makes me wanna drive in the middle of a foggy night in search of a 7/11.
|
|
Oh my gosh that sax is freaking epic in this song. <3 Can't get enough of it, TwoThirds is a genius. |
Stereophonics – Too Many Sandwiches
Can't find a song on par with Dakota. |
Lately I've been streaming David Bowie's newest album, The Next Day, which is kind of fabulous and amazing and wonderful, not the least because it's David Bowie back from a decade long hiatus.
It hasn't been released yet - only streaming in iTunes so far, but this is one of the songs that's available right now: |
Kitcalibar - Bokeh Future
Been listenig to this new Lapfox Trax release for a while now. |
Jay Chou - Huo Yuan Jia
I am still amazed at the fact that there is actually no woman singing in this song, but rather Jay Chou singing in falsetto |
Avicii vs Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One I've been taking a fond liking towards Avicii's music lately even though I never even heard about this guy until listening to an old song of his. My new fave from this guy! |
Owl City- Embers
I love this song. Like lots of Owl City songs, it gives me hope. When I feel like I'm at the brink of destruction, sometimes it's just enough to pull me from that edge. |
Anarbor - You And I Been one of my favorite songs since 2009 since it was featured in commercials for "Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins" a few years back. |
Baauer - Harlem Shake
Now that's what I call regular-ass. |
"My Dimension" - Immortal
When all you want is some raw sound. |
Corey Taylor - "Bother"
{: I had forgotten about this song until today. |
Superstar - Lupe Fiasco. If you are what you say you are, a superstar, then have no fears.
|
The Classic Crime- Heaven and Hell
Cosmotone8, my good friend on PC recommended me to listen to The Classic Crime's new album Phoenix . I really haven't heard alot of The Classic Crime's songs so I had no idea really what to expect. Though so far I'm really enjoying it and alot of the tracks are unique . This track seems a bit slower than the first four on the album. |
Let It Go - Dragonette
Gosh, I love everything Dragonette has made, and this song is no exception. Delicious dance pop that hasn't been overplayed to death by mainstream radio (at least where I live)? YES PLEASE. (◕‿◕✿) |
Wake Up - Arcade Fire Album: Funeral Ahhh, this brings back a fair few memories. Both online and offline, now that I think of it. It's a nice listen once in a while and kinda prompted me to go on an Arcade Fire binge. So I'm off to do that now! |
I just can't get enough of Monstercat lately.<3
|
Church Window - Machine Head sounds great on my 300w subs!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF3xuvTJ044 |
Emma Hewitt - Rewind
I'm so gonna have this blasting when I face a boss in something like Dante's Inferno or SMT 3 Nocturne now, the rush it just gives me is something I haven't felt in a long time. |
Heard it on the radio today and it's stuck in my head |
This song is great and has so much meaning behind it. Love it. <3 |
2Pac - I Get Around
Can't believe I used to avoid listening to Tupac and other rappers from the 90's; rap nowadays suck compared to the 90's. |
The Airborne Toxic Event - All I Ever Wanted
I've been listening to these guys tonight. The first song I heard of thier was their newest one 'Timeless" which has been getting in my head lately. They're great if you ask me. |
Five For Fighting - Superman (It's Not Easy) When I first heard this, I thought it was so different than what I was expecting. |
Blur - Jubilee
Parklife (1994) One of the few songs that got me into Blur. |
The Hives - Tick Tick Boom I was always fond of Sweden's musical scene, and I remember first hearing about these guys back when I heard a song of theirs on the old PS2 game Rolling. |
Kanye West – Two Words
Not really a fan of the collage dropout compared to the other album I heard by him ( MBDTF). |
Delphic - Doubt These guys are a three-piece from the UK, I never even heard of them until I listened to this. |
Katy Perry - Wide Awake
-_- I'm listening to radio don't blame me.(Katy Perry sux) |
Raspberry Cane - Youth Lagoon
Album: Wondrous Bughouse I can't find a YouTube video so this'll have to do. Shame, really; I wanted to share this quite a bit because I think it's seriously incredible. Highlight of this new album for me, I think, and one of the best things to come out of 2013 for me so far! |
"Carried Away" ─ Passion Pit
Probably my favorite song from Passion Pit currently. Alone the song is great, but when you watch it with the video it just speaks volumes. The song itself feels uplifting, but the lyrics tell a story. The music video plays up on those lyrics and it's just perfect. Whenever I listen to the song, I kind of just have to watch the video with it too. |
Ugh Foster the People needs a new album. Playing Torches on repeat has started to lose its novelty. :( |
The Offspring - Original Prankster There's something about this song I liked, and I tend to be a prankster myself lol. |
"Manifest" - Sepultura
Friday, October 2nd, 1992 Chaos has descended in "Carandiru", the biggest penitentiry complex in South America Over a hundred inmates dead and hundreds injured on the massacre The police arrived with helicopters and over two hundred armed forces They took the jailblock called "Pavilhao Nove" and opened fire on the inmates in a holocaust, method of annihilation. The government of the city of Sao Paulo cannot control the brutality of its police Holocaust, Body piles Confrontation, Mutilation Discipline, Ignorance Conflagration, Torture Over eighty percent of the inmates were not sentenced yet. The bodies were filled with bullets and bites from the police dogs The police try to hide the massacre saying there were only eight deaths The violence of Brasilian cops is very well known outside of Brasil. This kind of extermination is a method that they use to get rid of the overpopulation in the jails The violence of the cops left the whole pavillion destroyed after the rebellion "Pavilhao Nove" (Pavilhao 9) Just because someone is wearing a patch and uniform doesn't mean they're not corrupt. |
Not only is Imagine Dragons amazing, but an a capella cover getting the same amount of sound is just ridiculous. |
Mylo - Drop The Pressure I don't get why I started getting so addicted to this song, I guess I am biased towards robot-like voices I guess. |
Arcade Fire – Rebellion (Lies)
Reminds me of Sitting on top of the world by Delta Goodrem. |
Ahh...Listening to this whole album brings back nostalgia, along with Hot Fuss, of course. <3 |
Mafia something - Dn't you worry child.
OMG one of my fav. Still listening to radio. |
Figured I'd run through all the Panic! albums today, this is the song I'm listening to right now. :3 |
Frankmusic - confusion girl: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS5vAZa9xlI
|
R.I.P Clive Burr (8 March 1957 - 12 March 2013) |
|
Probably my favorite song from the king of pop, Michael Jackson. RIP. |
