Guess That Pokémon!

NOTE: This is in no way related to "Who's That Pokémon" in any way.

Guess That Pokémon:

This game is simple. The first Poster posts up to three clues about the Pokémon they're talking about. Your job is to guess the Pokémon.

Example:

Poster 1:
This Pokémon is of the Fire Type.
It is a Fully-Evolved Pokémon.
It is a Legendary.

Poster 2: Moltres!

-This Pokémon is of the Steel Type.
-It cannot evolve, nor has it evolved.
-The name starts with M.

Poster 1:
@Poster 2: Correct!
Mawile!

...And so on.

I'll start:

This Pokémon can be evolved by Trading.
It has already evolved once.
This Pokémon is of the Normal Type.

C_r_e_a_m_p_u_f_f February 20th, 2013 2:26 AM

Porygon Z of course!

Next:

This Pokémon is of two starter-types
It evolves with a stone
It was first introduced in Hoenn

Serperion February 20th, 2013 2:44 AM

I can only assume you are talking about Lombre or Ludicolo I'm conflicted on whether it evolves via the stone or if it evolved from the stone.

Ok:

This pokemon has had many signature moves over the 5 generations
It gained a pre-evolution
It is part of a split-line evolution

classiccartoonsftw February 20th, 2013 3:06 AM

Incorrect. The correct answers were either Sneasel or Murkrow. Both came under the description.

It is a Psychic-Type.

Correct

To answer Umbr30n I can only assume you are referring to Lugia
Although there is no pokemon who is the leader of a Trio who is also part of that trio and Psychic type, removing the Psychic type you may refer to Rayquaza or Kyurem

This pokemon cannot see
It lives in caves
It is Poison-Type (whether whole or part)

ShadowMirror February 20th, 2013 3:53 AM

Is it Uxie for Umbr30n's one

It it Zubat for serperion's one

Ok

This is a Dragon, ground type
It is at its fully evolved stage
Ash had its pre evolved form

Lugia is correct. It is the Boss of the Legendary Birds Trio (Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno).

Just a few notes:
-When I say "This Pokémon is of ? Type", it is either the Pokémon's only Type or one of it's Types.
-Some Legendary Trios have an Extra Pokémon that is the Boss.

Nope. Lugia.

Garchomp.

This Pokémon is weaker than Magikarp as of Base Stat.
This Pokémon is of Bug-Type.
It is exclusive to White and White 2.

ShadowMirror February 20th, 2013 5:18 AM

Is it caterpie

And Umbr30n you are correct when it comes to Garchomp, and couldn't I get 1 point for the Uxie one since it still meets the criteria even though it was wrong

Serperion February 20th, 2013 1:12 PM

I can only assume you mean Kricketoto however it starts with 2 and learns 2. The others are Burmy and Skorupi but Skorupi definetly doesn't fit the description.

It evolves twice
It's primary colour is White

Correct and it can't be burmy because it learns a 3rd move just before evolving.

And as for the question, it may be Gorrebys(or however you spell it)

Next:
It's usually said that it evolves by combining it's prevolved form in the anime
It's prevolved form is used by a Johto leader
It gained a fighting weakness in Gen 2

classiccartoonsftw February 21st, 2013 12:32 AM

Nope it is not Vanillite though that does fit the category

Virizion seems about right

Aryan143 February 21st, 2013 7:30 AM

@Serperion: Correct but please give me a new one.
And maybe the question of that answer could be Togepi because it's based of an egg, is white and evolves twice.

TaichiWind February 21st, 2013 8:20 AM

It learns two moves that don't make sense for it to have based on their Japanese names

TaichiWind February 21st, 2013 12:00 PM

Hitmontop.

No, it's not Pikachu. (Epic fail, might I add. None of my hints fit it.) *waw waw waw waw waaaw*

It learns a move that doesn't make sense for it to have based on its (the move's) Japanese name. (fix because of my derp, the other was an ability (hint hint))
Its Japanese name means "Red Face".
