Triple & Rotation Battles

The 5th Generation of Pokemon brought us two new battling styles, with a little extra strategy added in.

Triple Battles

3 vs 3 Pokemon, the Pokemon on the sides can only attack the opponent on the same side as them and the middle Pokemon. The middle Pokemon can hit any opponent on the field, side Pokemon can also target the opponent on the opposite side with the following moves: with Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Aura Sphere, Heal Pulse, Water Pulse and all Flying-type moves (excluding Air Cutter). In B/W, they are showcased most often in White.

Rotation Battles

3 Pokemon on the field, but only one is active and can rotate between its teammates at any time, whether it'd be to cushion the hit from a Pokemon's attack or just strike unsuspectingly. In B/W, they were most often showcased in Black.

What were your thoughts on Triple & Rotation Battles? Did you like the new added strategy with them? Were you surprised at the lack of Triple/Rotation Battles in B/W compared to B2/W2? Share your thoughts.

Unfortunately we already have an active Triples/Rotationals thread right here! Remember to search next time when making future threads. :)
