September 23, 2013

Professor Fennel contacted me and told me that while she was doing some research on Route 15 just west of Nimbasa City, she came across a pair of little Larvitar. She said although it is common to find wild Pupitar in that area, wild Larvitar are rare to see in Unova. She said they were sleeping, and she had Musharna use Dream Mist on them, so I might find them in the Dream World.

Dream World: Heatmor. Found: nothing new; female Torkoal with the ability Shell Armor.

Dream World 2: Flareon. Found: Larvitar that can use Stealth Rock! Another female Larvitar that can use Dark Pulse also was in the Rugged Mountain area, and was happy to return to its parent Tyranitar on Route 15 once it woke up. Meanwhile, the first Larvitar waited for me in the Entralink forest, and seemed eager to join me on my journey. It will definitely be a powerful Pokémon to help me complete my journey in Unova!

“Larvitar, the Rock Skin Pokémon. Larvitar are born deep underground. They come aboveground to eat the surrounding soil. Once they eat a large mountain, they go sleep so they can grow.”

275. Larvitar

Come to think of it, in all my years of training Pokémon, I don’t think I’ve ever had a Larvitar. I never caught one during either of my unfinished Johto Journeys. So to signify the event, I caught Larvitar in a Premier Ball.

September 24, 2013

During some early morning training at the Nimbasa City Sports Domes, my Lairon evolved into Aggron!

“Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon, and the evolved form of Lairon. Aggron claim entire mountains as their own. While seeking iron for food, they dig tunnels by breaking through bedrock with their steel horns.”

Dream World: Volcarona. Found: nothing new; Swinub that knows the move Ancientpower.
Dream World 2: Leafeon. Found: Crustle that knows the move Night Slash.

September 25, 2013

Dream World: Serperior. Found: nothing new; Qwilfish that can use Aqua Jet.
Dream World 2: Roserade. Found: Tympole that can use Water Pulse.

And so another team has been retired. The next group to come with me is Magneton, Umbreon, Nosepass, Wingull, and Bronzong.

September 26, 2013

On their way back to Nuvema Town, Professor Juniper and Fennel discovered some new wild Pokémon on Route 2, just outside of Accumula Town. Juniper told me that there were quite a few evolved Pokémon in the area now, as well as wild Jigglypuff and Lickitung. It’s quite the assortment of normal-type Pokémon that live there now! Once again, some Dream Mist was used on some of the Lickitung, to help me catch one, since I won’t be getting to Route 2 anytime soon.

Dream World: Emboar. Found: nothing new; Venonat that knows Skill Swap.

Dream World 2: Tangela. Found: Lickitung that knows Rock Climb! I found the group of Lickitung from Route 2, but this one was special because of its ability and the move it knows. It woke up in the Entralink Forest, while the rest returned to Route 2 upon awakening.

As for myself, I revisited some old territories to do some training. While passing through the Chargestone Cave, both my Magneton and Nosepass evolved! The electric rocks here must give off the same type of energy that’s found on Mt Coronet in the Sinnoh region.

“Magnezone, the Magnet Area Pokémon, and the evolved form of Magneton. Magnezone emit magnetism that can sometimes be too strong, making them attract each other so they cannot move. Scientists have tried finding ways to make Magnezone evolve, but all such efforts have ended in failure.”

“Probopass, the Compass Pokémon, and the evolved form of Nosepass. Probopass freely control three small units called Mini-Noses using magnetic force.”

278. Probopass
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/7/71/Spr_5b_476.png

Shortly thereafter, I was training at the Sports Domes in Nimbasa City, and my Wingull evolved into Pelipper! (It’s already registered in my Pokédex though from when I caught my shiny one.)

http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/2/2e/Spr_5b_279.png

I then passed through the Entralink Forest, and caught the Lickitung I befriended in the Pleasant Forest!

“Lickitung, the Licking Pokémon. Lickitung have tongues that can extend over six feet long. Being licked by this long, saliva-covered tongue leaves a tingling sensation. Extending this tongue causes the tail to retract, so there is a possibility they are connected.”

279. Lickitung
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/2/22/Spr_5b2_108.png

And finally, upon returning to Humilau City, I was awarded a new medal at the Pokémon Center. Apparently Lickitung was the 10th Unova Pokémon I caught from the Dream World! (I had to think about it awhile, since I was curious which 10 they were, but I figured it out to be: Swinub, Heracross, Tropius, Carnivine, Slakoth, Corphish, Yanma, Croagunk, Larvitar, and Lickitung.)

The Journal of Mario the Pokémon Trainer:

It's the start of a journey! I chose Snivy as my first Pokémon and nicknamed it Nobuyuki. I also got a Pokedex.

I now have a Purrloin and a Patrat nicknamed Watchy on my team. I arrived in Floccesy Town. I visited Floccesy Ranch that has lots of flowers and plenty of wild Pokémon. Now it's time to explore this wide area!. My friend/rival Luigi also happened to be there as well, and we battled. We met the owners of the ranch and they said that one of their Herdier went missing. I follow Luigi to start the search.

I found Herdier with a suspicious person, who for some reason gave me a TM. After that, he fled.

Picking up White after taking a hiatus. I booted up my game and I left off with 5 badges in Mistralton City. Tirtouga, Servine, and Darumaka evolved sometime ago.

I went to the Celestial Tower, but I already defeated most of the trainers. I met Skyla at the top and allowed her to return to the gym to meet her demise. My Carracosta and Darm whipped her Pokemon. I think getting through the gym maze was more of a challenge than Skyla.

My team was lacking in diversity, so I traded a Tynamo from Black version. I raised her level enough so that she would soon evolve. I also equipped a Thunderstone so I wouldn't have to look for one. Anyways, I named my Tynamo Levina, which means lightning bolt, but it also reminds me of Leviathan.

Nickname: Levina | Nature: Quiet

She then evolved while defeating trainers in Twist Mountain, which I still currently am in. ;_;

I made my way back to Aspertia City and battled the Gym Leader. Things were not easy, but I won. Next stop is Virbank City.

I've now arrived in Virbank City. There's a large industrial complex in the city, and I went to explore. I encountered wild Magby, Magnemite, and Growlithe.

After challenging Virbank Gym, I traveled to Castelia City.

Rai October 9th, 2013 5:27 PM

I have not been here in a while.

I completed my Unova Dex! Well... almost. The only pokemon I need is a Genesect and I am waiting for my friend to trade me one. Once, I have that my Unova Dex will be complete!

It is my goal to complete my National Dex before I get Pokemon X on my birthday (November 2nd). There is no way that is going to happen. I have started working on my National Dex by transferring all of the pokemon I have in SoulSilver that are unobtainable in Black 2, such as Chikarita, Bulbasuar, etc.

Wish me luck! I am going to need it...

OffRoadSP October 11th, 2013 4:41 AM

Good luck on that bold goal, Rai! And congrats on completing the Unova Dex. That's the goal I'm hoping to complete sooner than later... just 21 more to go!!

Dream World: Watchog. Found: nothing new; female Roselia with the ability Leaf Guard.
Dream World 2: Octillery. Found: female Scolipede with the ability Quick Feet.

September 28, 2013

Dream World: Stoutland. Found: nothing new; Beldum that knows Zen Headbutt.
Dream World 2: Wailord. Found: nothing.

I did some training at the Humilau Gym to help give my team experience.

September 29, 2013

I’ve rotated my team again, and this time brought out Growlithe, Leafeon, Claydol, Lunatone, and my recent caught Delibird.

Dream World: Simisage. Found: nothing new; female Growlithe with the ability Justified and a female Tropius with the ability Harvest. I’ve also started transferring the hundreds of items and berries I’ve amassed in the Dream World, but I may be too late to transfer all of them.

Dream World 2: Seel. Found: Basculin that can use Zen Headbutt. That was the last Unova Pokémon I needed from the Sparkling Sea! I still need a handful from the Pleasant Forest and Rugged Mountain, though.

September 30, 2013

It’s time for one last trip to the Dream World for a few weeks, if not permanently.

Dream World: Simisear. Found: nothing new; female Teddiursa with the ability Honey Gather.
Dream World 2: Carnivine. Found: Durant that knows Endure.

So in the main Dream World, I found one of each Pokémon with the rarer special move, except for three: Poliwag that knows Sleep Talk, Bagon that knows Outrage, and Combee that knows Air Cutter. If only I didn’t have large gaps where I wasn’t going into the Dream World! Still, finding over 200 Pokémon isn’t that bad, and in a lot of case I also found a female or the same Pokémon with the other special move. Not bad I suppose. And I racked up a lot of Dream Points too, which I hear might earn me a nice medal in the Kalos region…

October 5, 2013

I did a lot of training with my Pokémon today, and my Growlithe evolved into Arcanine after I used a Fire Stone on it!

I've met up with Bianca at Aspertia City, she was waiting for me to give me a Pokemon and a Pokedex for my journey. She showed me three Pokemon: Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott. Granted, I've decided on Snivy, and named him Ivan. Because you know...it's an Ivy Snake Pokemon...kinda? Well, anyways, Then I met up with my friend..er, rival, named John. He had his Tepig, and then we both battled. Of course, I kicked his butt, seeing that Ivan and I could really bond quickly.

I'd see John later on in Floccesy City, Bianca taught me the basics of being a Pokemon trainer, like catching Pokemon, using the Pokemon Center, etc. She even handed me 10 Pokeballs to get started. Later on, I walked on Route 19 and captured two Pokemon on the way. One was a Pidove. I'm a huge NASCAR fan, so I've decided to name all the Pokemon I captured after NASCAR drivers. So, with the Pidove I captured, I nicknamed it Kenseth (after Matt Kenseth). Shortly thereafter, I arrived to Floccesy City and skipped on over to Route 20, where I captured my third Pokemon, Sewaddle. Due to its eventual nurturing of its evolved form, Leavanny, I named him Truex, after Martin Truex Jr.

Arriving at Floccessy Ranch after battling a dozen trainers out there (which strengthened my three Pokemon a bit). I met with John once again and we battled. I noticed his Tepig grew slightly...it was at Level 8. Truex was the lowest of the three, but I made him go first...until I called him back and released Ivan to battle. It was a no brainer for the three of them, as I defeated John once again. He wasn't all that mad, really.

He then helped me out with finding a missing Herdier which belonged to the ranch owners. In the meantime, I ran into more Pokemon in the wild. I caught two water-type Pokemon that I had never seen before ever. One was a Psyduck (named Brad K., after Brad Keselowski), and an Azurril named Johanna. I now have five Pokemon in my Party, but I felt that I was missing something.

Until next time, journal. ★

October 11, 2013

It’s been a busy two weeks at work, with no sign of let up in the near future, so Pokémon training has taken a back seat to other priorities.

I did take my current team out for some significant training on Route 22. I had a few Magmarizers that I got from Alexa’s Antique Shop on Green Grimer Avenue, so I used one on Magmar, and it evolved into Magmortar!

“Magmortar, the Blast Pokémon, and the evolved form of Magmar. Magmortar shoot 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit fireballs from their arms. When they do, their bodies take on a whitish hue from the intense heat.”

281. Magmortar
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/f/fe/Spr_5b_467.png

I retired that team of Pokémon, and then rotated the next group for training: Electabuzz, Sandslash, Seviper, Absol, and Metang. This time, I went south of Humilau City to Route 21 to explore it further.

October 13, 2013

When exploring more of Route 21, I found a cave entrance on one of the shores. According to the map, it’s apparently the north entrance to the Seaside Cave. This must be how people travelled between Undella Town and Humilau City before the underwater tunnel was created. After doing significant exploring in the cave, I stopped in the Pokémon Center in Undella Town to rest my Pokémon. I unexpectedly received a new medal while I was there!

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 85/125
New Medals:
Hustle Muscle

I returned to the Seaside Cave, and found another exit further in. This exit lead to a small beach where I saw a large ship moored there. It was the Team Plasma Frigate! When I arrived, I found Marlon onboard, lowering a bridge to make a way to enter the frigate. Hugh arrived just a few moments after me. Marlon said he didn’t want to get involved in our quarrel with Team Plasma, but did want to help Hugh and me out. Marlon took his leave, but the noise alerted the Team Plasma members on the ship. So Hugh and I boarded the ship, and battled the many Team Plasma grunts aboard.

October 14, 2013

I continued to battle aboard the Plasma Frigate. I stumbled upon an Electirizer in one of the cabins, which I needed and promptly gave to Electabuzz. Hugh and I did finally find Zinzolin, and he had already succeeded in capturing Kyurem! They drew upon Kyurem’s power to freeze Opelucid City and the surrounding area. So that was their secret weapon! We battled Zinzolin, and won, but not before the Shadow Triad showed up and dumped us on the beach. The Plasma Frigate took off to the east. We were so close!

I stopped back in Humilau City to rest up at the Pokémon Center. After getting my Poké Balls back from Nurse Joy, I found my Electabuzz had evolved into Electivire!

“Electivire, the Thunderbolt Pokémon, and the evolved form of Electabuzz. Electivire close in on their opponents and shove their tails onto their foes. The instant they do, they send over 20,000 volts of electricity into the foe.”

282. Electivire
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/9/95/Spr_5b_466.png

Later that evening, I found out Fennel was ready to send more Pokémon to the Dream World, so I figured I’d go back there to see what I could find, and I had a stroke of luck!

Dream World: Zebstrika. Found: Combee that knows Air Cutter! Finally, I found the last Pokémon I needed from the Dream Park. That leaves just two more Pokémon to find in the Dream World! We also found a female Drowzee with the ability Inner Focus.
Dream World 2: Croagunk. Found: female Crustle with the ability Weak Armor.
(I had an afterthought. If females are no longer needed to breed hidden abilities in Gen 6, I probably don’t need to keep looking for them in the Dream World… hm, I’ll think more about it later.)

I also earned another medal. It seems Electivire was the last electric-type Pokémon I needed to obtain in the Unova region!

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 86/125
New Medals:
Electric-type Catcher

I then left the Pokémon Center, and headed towards the cave I found at the end of Route 22.

I remained in Floccesy Ranch in preparations for my first gym battle against Leader Cheren. In the meantime I had caught a male Mareep named Dale (like Dale Earnhardt Jr.). It was a breeze to train him. Truex and Brad K. were training really well and reached up to L10, which was my goal. Ivan was already in L10 but I warmed him up for battle a bit. Kenseth needed a little help, but the one that was lacking so much patience was little Johanna. The training was too fierce for her, so I had to box her in, unfortunately.

After all of the Pokemon reached L10, I immediately healed them, and walked all the way back to Aspertia City, where the first gym was located. I walked inside the Pokemon Trainer's School, and battled the two trainers. Both of them students from the school. Brad was up first against the boy, and was raised two levels during that battle. Then Kenseth was up against the girl, but did not survive the 2nd Pokemon battle. Until then, Brad K took over.

Brad was up during the battle against Cheren. It was able to go against his L11 Patrat, but his L13 Lillipup was too strong for him. It was also strong for Dale Jr. as well. Truex was up next, despite the level difference by 3. Lillipup was already paralyzed by Dale's static ability, so that gave Truex so much advantage, even though Cheren gave it a potion to refill its energy. But it still didn't make way for the paralysis. Truex defeated the Lillipup with a few bug bites, and raised only one level, and won the match. It was a very close one.

I was given the Basic Badge and the TM Work Up. I was then given Professor Juniper's phone number by Bianca and my pokedex was upgraded. Afterwards, I was now on my way to the next city, Virbank.

I’m getting so very anxious to visit this Kalos region I keep hearing so much about. But first I have to stop Team Plasma!

I checked out the Hidden Grotto on Route 22, and caught an Amoongus with the special ability Regenerator.

Then I proceeded into the Giant Chasm to do some exploring, as well as to try to find Team Plasma. Not far into the cave, I came across a wild Sneasel! I sent out Absol to battle it, figuring a dark-type would be a good way to catch a dark-type. I had my Absol use Slash to weaken it. I threw a Poké Ball, and caught it on the first try with a critical capture! I caught a Sneasel! I’m getting closer to finishing my Unova journey, and completing the Pokédex. I wonder if there are any other Pokémon I have left to find in Unova?

October 17, 2013

Dream World: Sawk. Found: nothing at all.
Dream World 2: Weezing. Found: Cottonee that can use Worry Seed.

I finished exploring the Giant Chasm cave, and found an exit that comes out not far from Lacunosa Town, where I was first told about Kyurem. I then went deeper into the cave, and it finally opened up onto a large crater. In the center of the crater was the Team Plasma Frigate, surrounded by ice. Just ahead of me, I saw Hugh, Rood, and a group of former Team Plasma members trying to talk some sense into the current Team Plasma grunts that were following Zinzolin. They did not seem to be succeeding. Hugh was battling many of the grunts, still searching for his sister’s Purrloin. I decided to make for the Plasma Frigate.

I saw several wild Pokémon in the area, and was shocked to see one in particular: a Ditto! It used Transform to copy my Metang, but my Metang did well battling it. I threw a Poké Ball and caught it!

“Ditto, the Transform Pokémon. Ditto have the ability to reconstitute their entire cellular structure to change into whatever they see. They return to normal when they relax.”

284. Ditto

I then boarded the Plasma Frigate. There were plenty of grunts onboard that I battled through. During my battles, my Metang evolved into Metagross!

“Metagross, the Iron Leg Pokémon, and the evolved form of Metang. Metagross have four brains, which give them the intelligence of a supercomputer. They use complex calculations to analyze foes.”

285. Metagross
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/b/be/Spr_5b_376.png

October 18, 2013

I fought Zinzolin yet again, and defeated him. Then, I finally found Kyurem in a lab on the frigate, and it looks like the lab belongs to Colress! He went on about how he wants to bring out the full potential of Pokémon by whatever means possible, whether by the love and care a trainer has towards his Pokémon, or forcibly through technology. I told him I’d show him the power of my Pokémon, and so we had a battle. His Pokémon have become much stronger than the last time we met, but my Pokémon were able to win. It wasn’t an easy battle though! His Klinklang holding an Air Balloon was an unexpected twist.

After defeating him, I discovered the true mastermind behind Team Plasma’s actions. It was Ghetsis! He planned on conquering Unova by using Kyurem’s power to freeze all who stood in his way. I was going to attack, but the Shadow Triad showed up and covered his escape. Hugh entered at that point and finally found the Purrloin he was seeking. It was now a Liepard, now under the control of one of the Shadow Triad. I sent out my Pokémon to battle all three of them. They used an annoying number of Pawniards, as well as a few other Pokémon. After a long hard fight, I defeated them.

I chased Ghetsis off of the Plasma Frigate and into a cave at the back of the crater. Apparently, this is where Ghetsis captured Kyurem. And now both of them stand in front of me in the frozen cave!

“Kyurem, the Boundary Pokémon. Kyurem can produce ultracold air. It generates a powerful, freezing energy inside itself, but its body became frozen when the energy leaked out. This legendary ice Pokémon waits for a hero to fill in the missing parts of its body with truth or ideals.”

Ghetsis ordered Kyurem to use Glaciate to freeze me solid. I was unable to dodge such a powerful attack, but I didn’t have to. Suddenly, I heard a voice cry out:

“Reshiram, Fusion Flare!”

It was N! Riding in on Reshiram, he had it counter Kyurem’s Glaciate. But it seems that Ghetsis planned for this. He used the DNA Splicers he stole from Opelucid City, and ordered Kyurem to attack Reshiram. Reshiram tried to dodge Kyurem’s attacks, but eventually Kyurem struck, and Reshiram was reduced to the Light Stone! Then, at the order of Ghetsis, Kyurem absorbed the Light Stone, and changed its form. It became White Kyurem, a combination of Kyurem’s and Reshiram’s bodies!

N and I stared in horror, unsure what to do. Then I felt my Poké Balls shaking. All six of my Pokémon let themselves out! Electivire, Sandslash, Seviper, Absol, Metagross, and Grimer all had the angriest of looks on their faces.

“We won’t stand for this!” I yelled. “We have to save both Reshiram and Kyurem! Grimer, use Ice Punch!”

My Pokémon attacked, landing a hit on the legendary Pokémon. But Kyurem used Ice Burn, and knocked out Grimer.

“Grimer, return! You did your best! Ok, time for a powerhouse! Metagross, Meteor Mash!”
Metagross moved very quickly due to its Light Metal ability, and struck a critical hit with Meteor Mash!

“Great job, Metagross!” I yelled. “Finish it with Bullet Punch!”

My Metagross quickly attacked with a barrage of steel punches, and White Kyurem was knocked out! The two Pokémon were separated, and Kyurem flew off and finally escaped Ghetsis’s clutches!

Ghetsis was not too happy about that on bit, so he attacked for a full six-on-six battle! It was a long and tough battle, and I needed all six of my Pokémon to very slowly but surely beat each of his Pokémon, and finally defeat him! Also, Ghetsis had a Pokémon I have yet to see in Unova on his team.

“Toxicroak, the Toxic Mouth Pokémon, and the evolved form of Croagunk. Toxicroak have a poison sac at their throats. The croaking that they produce before a battle is for churning the poison they have stored in this sac.”

With Ghetsis’s defeat, the Shadow Triad teleported away with him, N flew off on Reshiram, and Colress took off in the Plasma Frigate, apparently convinced that true friendship between Pokémon and trainer is the best way to bring a Pokémon to its full potential.

Team Plasma is finally no more.

Back at the Pokémon Center in Lacunosa Town, I was awarded two more medals, since it looks like Metagross was the last of these types of Pokémon I needed to catch in Unova:

Dream World: Leavanny. Found: nothing new; female Shuppet with the ability Cursed Body.
Dream World 2: Arcanine. Found: Maractus that can use Leech Seed.

I finished training the team of Pokémon that helped me beat Team Plasma, then sent the five back to Professor Juniper for retirement. I had the professor then send me Raticate, Vibrava, Tangela, and Seel. With my Grimer, that makes five.

“I finished studying your Pelipper you caught a few weeks ago,” Juniper told me. “It’s got quite a sassy nature, and is a little quick-tempered. It’s picked a few fights with some of your other Pokémon.”

“Well, my Grimer likes to fight, so they should get along,” I replied with a laugh.

“It’s just an unusual personality for a Pelipper to have,” she continued. “Still, it might mean you could have success teaching it a variety of attacks. Should I send it over to you?”

“Yes, please,” I said. “I’d like to start training with it a bit.”

I received the Poké Ball from the transfer. I had my Grimer play a bit with it at the Pokémon Center in Lacunosa Town. The only moves it knows are Brine, Stockpile, Swallow, and Spit Up, so I really need to improve that first. So we started to work on learning Ice Beam!

I travelled back to Green Grimer Avenue, and stopped in at Alex’s Colosseum to do some training with Pelipper. First, I gave it a bunch of Protein and Zinc, and even a half dozen Resist Wings. Then we trained its attack power, and followed it up with some special defense training. After a hard work out, I treated it to Bistro Leah for some treats and Salon Flint for some grooming.

October 20, 2013

I took the team out to a new area for some training and exploration: Route 23! On the way there from Lacunosa Town, my Tangela evolved into Tangrowth!

286. Tangrowth
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/8/88/Spr_5b_465_m.png

The trainers we battled on Route 23 were quite tough. I guess I should have expected that, though, as we are very close to Victory Road. During a battle with a trainer who had a Sawk, I decided to work on another new move with Pelipper. I won the battle easily, and Pelipper learned Aerial Ace!

Dream World: Scolipede. Found: nothing new; female Grimer with the ability Poison Touch.
Dream World 2: Magmortar. Found: female Maractus with the ability Storm Drain.

I reached the Badge Check Gate at the entrance to Victory Road. N was there, waiting for me. He wanted to thank me for helping him see that Pokémon battles and Pokémon trainers are about more than just keeping Pokémon in captivity, that both Pokémon and humans work together and help each other out. He thanked me for defeating Team Plasma, and wished me luck on the rest of my journey. Then he left. I feel that may be the last I see of him.

I decided to backtrack and explore another new area called the Abundant Shine. It is said to be a shrine to the legendary Pokémon Landorus, and is just off Route 14. When I stopped at the Pokémon Center in Undella Town, I found I had earned another medal. Tangrowth was the last grass-type Pokémon I had to obtain in Unova!

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 89/125
New Medals:
Grass-type Catcher

During my exploration on the area, I battled a handful of Pokémon trainers, and my Seel evolved into Dewgong!

“Dewgong, the Sea Lion Pokémon, and the evolved form of Seel. Dewgong have streamlined bodies that have low resistance as they swim around cold oceans at a speed of eight knots. In snow, the pure white coats covering their bodies obscure them from predators.”

287. Dewgong
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/a/ad/Spr_5b_087.png

I finished seeing the whole area, and found the shrine to Landorus. I wonder what would happen if I brought the Landorus I caught using the Dream Radar here? I might have to explore that later. I also found a Hidden Grotto tucked in the back corner, and caught a Psyduck with the special ability Swift Swim! I got lucky with a critical capture on that one I think. Finally, as I was leaving the area, I saw some wild Vulpix running near the fields!

“Vulpix, the Fox Pokémon. Vulpix control balls of fire. As they grow, their six tails split from their tips to make more tails. As each tail grows, their fur becomes more lustrous. When held, they feel slightly warm.”

I hadn’t seen Vulpix yet in Unova, so I chased a few around, and eventually caught one in a Poké Ball without even battling it!

288. Vulpix

So I returned to the Pokémon Center in Undella Town, and I found I had earned yet another medal towards the medal rally!

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 90/126
New Medals:
Evolution Expert

I did a little more training with my current team, and my Vibrava evolved into Flygon! Just a dozen more Unova Pokémon to go!

Dream World 2: Electivire. Found: Scolipede that can use Superpower.

5:35pm (Black 2)

I was training my team in the Seaside Cave, when suddenly, in the deeper level, I came across a different colored Golduck!

“No way!” I exclaimed. “That’s a shiny Golduck! I can't risk knocking it out… I know! Raticate, maximize! Use Super Fang!”

My Raticate used its attack, and the Golduck struck back with Aqua Tail.

“Hang in there, Raticate!” I urged on my Pokémon. “Use Super Fang again!”

My Raticate landed another attack, and this time Golduck used Zen Headbutt to knock Raticate away.

“Great job, Raticate! I’ll take it from here. Go, Poké Ball!” One Poké Ball was all it took.

I CAUGHT… A SHINY GOLDUCK!

On the way back to Undella Town, I caught a Jellicent in Undella Bay that had its hidden ability. Just ‘cause it was there.

October 22, 2013

I sent my new Golduck to Professor Juniper to check out. I then had her send me four more Pokémon to come with Pelipper and Grimer. This time Crobat, Gligar, Vigoroth, and my recently caught Vulpix get a turn. I’ll need a Razor Fang if I want Gligar to evolve though, since I haven’t come across one yet. I figure the best place to look is the area where I caught Gligar. So I decided to head towards Route 11, training my team along the way.

Dream World: Lilligant. Found: nothing new; female Wooper with the ability Unaware.
Dream World 2: Muk. Found: Tympole that can use Earth Power.

October 23, 2013

Dream World: Darmanitan. Found: nothing new; female Cubone with the ability Battle Armor.
Dream World 2: Jolteon. Found: Maractus that can use the move Spikes.

I did some training late that evening, and since I did find a Razor Fang the other day, my Gligar evolved into Gliscor!

“Gliscor, the Fang Scorp Pokémon, and the evolved form of Gligar. Gliscor dance silently through the sky. If they succeed in catching even a faint breeze properly, they can circle the globe without flapping once. When they approach prey, they can land critical hits in an instant.”

October 24, 2013

I did some more training with the team, and I had a Fire Stone in my bag, so I gave it to Vulpix so it could evolve into Ninetales!

“Ninetales, the Fox Pokémon, and the evolved form of Vulpix. Ninetales can live for a thousand years. Their nine tails are said to be imbued with a mystic, supernatural power.”

Dream World: Garbodor. Found: nothing new; Magby that knows the move Thunderpunch.
Dream World 2: Leafeon. Found: nothing new.

October 26, 2013

While exploring the Giant Chasm again, I found Ghetsis trying to capture Kyurem again. This time, he was using the DNA splicers to fuse it with Zekrom! When Black Kyurem attacked, my Pokémon were able to rise to the challenge and defeat it, thanks in large part to Vigoroth’s Yawn and Gliscor’s immunity to electric attacks. After the battle, my Vigoroth evolved into Slaking! It was then thanks to Slaking’s power, boosted by having its ability changed from Truant to Mummy during the battle, which allowed us to have a much easier time than the last time defeating Ghetsis again.

“Slaking, the Lazy Pokémon, and the evolved form of Vigoroth. Slaking are the world’s laziest Pokémon and they live lying on their sides. They only roll over and move when there is no more grass to eat. When they are lounging during battle, they are actually saving energy for striking back.”

292. Slaking
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/3/32/Spr_5b_289.png

Back at the Pokémon Center, I received a medal since Ninetales was the last fire-type Pokémon for me to find in Unova.

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 91/126
New Medals:
Fire-type Catcher

Then I rotated my team, retiring Crobat, Gliscor, Ninetales, and Slaking, and having Muk, Shuckle, Sneasel, and Corphish sent to me. Wait… since it’s still pretty early on a Saturday, maybe I’ll hold off on Sneasel for now. I switched it out for Ditto. I’ve got a full day with no other priorities, so time to get some solid Pokémon training in so I can wrap things up in Unova!

I took my Pokémon back to the Giant Chasm for some training, and my Corphish evolved into Crawdaunt!

“Crawdaunt, the Rogue Pokémon, and the evolved form of Corphish. Crawdaunt love to battle. They pinch all Pokémon that enter their territories with their pincers and throw them out from their ponds.”

293. Crawdaunt
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/4/47/Spr_5b_342.png

Next I went to Route 23, and spent the entire afternoon there training. Once I returned to Lacunosa Town, I was awarded another medal.

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 92/126
New Medals:
Water-type Catcher

So I retired those four Pokémon, and had Steelix, Sneasel, and Tropius sent to me. Since I still had Grimer and Pelipper with me, I asked Professor Juniper to send me my new Golduck.

“Your Golduck is quite a serious Pokémon,” Professor Juniper explained. “We’ve found it to be very finicky, too. Other than that, it’s fairly average.”

When I received Golduck, I scanned it with my Pokédex to see what moves it knows. Screech, Zen Headbutt, Aqua Tail, and Soak. I’d rather focus on teaching it some special attacks rather than having it know these physical ones, so we’ll work on that.

Dream World: Amoongus. Found: nothing new; Ralts that knows Helping Hand.
Dream World 2: Roserade. Found: female Shelmet with the ability Overcoat.

I gave Golduck some vitamins to begin its training. It got HP Up, Calcium, and Zinc. Then I took Pelipper and Golduck to Alex’s Colosseum on Green Grimer Avenue for some significant training. When we were done there, I treated them to some power meals at Bistro Leah. Next, it was off to Nimbasa City’s Sports Domes to give the whole team some training. Then as we traveled to Driftveil City, I worked on teaching Golduck the move Scald. Once in Driftveil, there was a move tutor there who helped teach my Pelipper the move Seed Bomb! I figured that would be an interesting move for it to learn.

Finally, I returned to Route 23, where my Sneasel evolved into Weavile!

Almost there! So close, I can taste it! :P

October 27, 2013

Dream World: Galvantula. Found: Bagon that can use Outrage! That’s the last Pokémon I needed to find in the Rugged Mountain area. Just one last Pokémon to find in this part of the Dream World! We also found a female Dunsparce with the ability Rattled.
Dream World 2: Heracross. Found: female Krookodile with the ability Anger Point.

I did some more training with Pelipper and Golduck at Alex’s Colosseum, followed by some special meals at Bistro Leah. I’m pretty much satisfied with Pelipper’s training; we just need to finish up a little more with Golduck.

October 28, 2013

Dream World: Eelectross. Found: nothing new; female Larvitar with the ability Sand Veil.
Dream World 2: Pinsir. Found: nothing new.

October 29, 2013

Early in the morning, I took Golduck to Dragonspiral Tower to finish up its training. Then I trained the rest of the team on Route 23, and then retired Steelix, Weavile, and Tropius.

Dream World: Accelgor. Found: nothing new; female Abra with the ability Magic Guard.
Dream World 2: Volcarona. Found: Durant that can use Thunder Fang.

October 30, 2013

Dream World: Serperior. Found: nothing new; Mantine that knows Mirror Coat.
Dream World 2: Seviper. Found: Krookodile that knows Counter.

I was hanging out at the Pokémon Center with Grimer, Pelipper, and Golduck, deciding what to do next. I do still have a half dozen Pokémon left to train, but then I came to a decision. I’m going to search for Kyurem!

October 31, 2013

Dream World: Simisage. Found: nothing new; female Aipom with the ability Skill Link.
Dream World 2: Heatmor. Found: nothing new.

I called Professor Juniper and asked her to send me some friends I haven’t seen in about a year. She transferred my Joltik and Karrablast over to me! Both looked healthy and extremely excited to travel with me again. Along with my Grimer, Pelipper, and Golduck, these Pokémon will form my core team for the remainder of my journey through Unova. The last spot I will rotate among the handful of Pokémon I have left to train. To start, I had Jigglypuff sent to me.

As I did some training with them, I decided to work on a new move with Golduck. Focus Blast will give it a little variety, and should work well for it being a special-based fighting-type move.

And after a little more training, I figured Halloween was the perfect night to break out a Moon Stone. I gave it to Jigglypuff so it could evolve into Wigglytuff!

“Wigglytuff, the Balloon Pokémon, and the evolved form of Jigglypuff. Wigglytuff can expand their bodies by inhaling air. Their fine fur feels so pleasant, those who accidentally touch them cannot take their hands away.”

295. Wigglytuff

November 1, 2013

Since I’m off from work today, I decided to get an early start on Pokémon training. After a little more work with Wigglytuff, I sent it to Professor Juniper for retirement, and then had her send Lickitung to me. By late morning, not only has Joltik been able to take its Hidden Power and refine it to learn Energy Ball, but my Lickitung evolved into a Lickilicky as well!

“Lickilicky, the Licking Pokémon, and the evolved form of Lickitung. Lickilicky have a long tongue that is always soggy with slobber. Their saliva contains lots of components that can dissolve anything, as well as a solvent that causes numbness. The numbness caused by their lick does not dissipate.”

296. Lickilicky
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/5/50/Spr_5b_463.png

After more training, I was able to finish up with Lickilicky, and then traded it for my Yanma.

Dream World: Zebstrika. Found: nothing new; Spheal that knows the move Fissure.
Dream World 2: Tangrowth. Found: female Karrablast with the ability No Guard.

OffRoadSP November 3rd, 2013 7:15 AM

I think I'll likely be saying good-bye to Unova after this weekend. We'll see!

November 2, 2013

I went back to the Nimbasa City Sports Domes to train my team, and my Yanma evolved into Yanmega!

“Yanmega, the Ogre Darner Pokémon, and the evolved form of Yanma. Yanmega have incredible jaw power. They battle by biting apart foes while flying by at high speed.”

297. Yanmega
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/c/cc/Spr_5b_469.png

Dream World: Leavanny. Found: nothing new; female Wobbuffet with the ability Telepathy.

I finished training Yanmega, rotated it out for Carnivine, and then trained awhile with Carnivine also. Once I was done with Carnivine, I swapped it out for my Croagunk. I also received a few more medals!

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 95/126
New Medals:
Normal-type Catcher
Flying-type Catcher
Bug-type Catcher

I spent the afternoon battling and training near Lacunosa Town, and my Croagunk evolved into Toxicroak!

298. Toxicroak
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/a/af/Spr_5b_454_m.png

I trained more with it then sent it to Professor Juniper for retirement. I then had her send my last Pokémon that needs to be trained. Together with my five shiny Pokémon, I plan on using this Pokémon to help me catch Kyurem, and complete the Unova Pokédex. I received the Premier Ball the professor transferred me, so it’s time to train my Larvitar!

But first, I had a few more medals to accept towards the Medal Rally.

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 97/126
New Medals:
Fighting-type Catcher
Poison-type Catcher

I started to explore the Giant Chasm, which has become much colder than the last time I was here. I wonder if that means that Kyurem has returned? After a short while, my Larvitar evolved into Pupitar!

“Pupitar, the Hard Shell Pokémon, and the evolved form of Larvitar. Pupitar have bodies as hard as bedrock. They fly around wildly by venting with great force the gas pressurized inside their bodies.”

299. Pupitar
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/a/ac/Spr_5b_247.png

Then, I returned to the Pokémon Center for a little Pokémon break and for some dinner. I gave my Pokéballs to Nurse Joy, and I was awarded yet another medal.

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 98/126
New Medals:
Ground-type Catcher

Dream World 2: Mienshao. Found: female Durant with the ability Truant.

During our exploration on the Giant Chasm, my Golduck learned a new move! Instead of the physical Zen Headbutt, it learned to use Psyshock instead, making better use of its stronger special attack, yet still dealing physical damage.

A short while later, Golduck also learned Amnesia! This rounds out its movepool with a defensive move. Golduck has come a long way in a short time! It’s a shame that I won’t have more time with it as my Unova journey is coming to an end.

OffRoadSP November 7th, 2013 10:23 AM

Thank you to everyone and anyone who's read my record of my Pokemon travels over these last few years. I plan on continuing in the Kalos Travel Journal thread. Thanks again, and see you there!

November 3, 2013

The clocks went back an hour last night, so I got up early to finish my hunt for Kyurem! I returned to the Great Chasm and traversed the maze, battling some of the strongest wild Pokémon in Unova in order to train my team. Eventually, I made it to the center of the forest, when suddenly I heard a roar from overhead! A blizzard of snow started to blow in the area, and through the haze, I saw a silhouette of a large dragon flying towards a cave to the north of me. I pressed through the snow, and entered the cave. Standing in the center of the cave was none other than Kyurem!

“Everyone, come on out and help me out!” I released all my Pokémon. My Pupitar looked ready to battle, and then it started to glow. My Pupitar is evolving!

“Tyranitar, the Armor Pokémon, and the evolved form of Pupitar. Tyranitar can knock down mountains and bury rivers if they rampage. The quakes caused when they walk make even great mountains crumble and can change the surrounding terrain.”

300. Tyranitar
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/5/5c/Spr_5b_248.png

“Ok, Tyranitar, you’re up first!” I was preparing for a very long, drawn out battle with Kyurem. “Tyranitar, use Rock Slide!”

Rock Slide hit, and was super effective! Kyurem merely used Imprison in return, leaving an opening for another attack.

“Quick, use Rock Slide again!” Another critical hit landed, and Kyurem seemed angrier. This time it struck back using Dragon Pulse! But Tyranitar took the hit with no problem!

“Way to go Tyranitar!” My other Pokémon were cheering it on too. “One more attack, hit it with Crunch!”

My Tyranitar got in close, and bit down on Kyurem, who was extremely weak at this point. (Read: in the red!) Now there’s just the tedious task of throwing Pokéball after Pokéball.

“Ok, go Ultra Ball!” The Ultra Ball scooped up Kyurem, and it rocked once… twice… three times…

Click!

I stood there staring, just blinking.

Did I just catch the most powerful legendary Pokémon in Unova with a single Ultra Ball?

“Jol-tik!” Suddenly, my Joltik landed on my head and gave me a shock to snap me out of my astonishment. I can’t believe it. I did it. My Unova Pokédex is complete. I caught Kyurem!!

301. Kyurem

Back at the Pokémon Center in Lacunosa Town, I was deciding what to do next. First, I decided I would take one final trip to the Dream World.

Dream World: Scolipede. Found: nothing new; Shroomish that can use Focus Punch.

So close. I’ve obtained one of each Pokémon with a special move in the Dream World, except an elusive Poliwag that can use Sleep Talk. Still, that’s not bad, all things considering. I also caught most of those Pokémon a second time with their other special move, coming up roughly 20 short. I also found a majority a third time as females with their hidden ability; but that might be a moot point, as I hear in Kalos even a male Pokémon can pass a hidden ability. I also found quite the plethora of items, though had to leave a lot of berries behind, since I wasn’t aware of the limits on transferring items to the Entralink. Overall, not bad for two and a half years of the Dream World!

I also received another batch of medals towards the Medal Rally, and since I’ve passed 100 medals, I’ve been advanced to Elite Rank!

Medal Rally: Rookie Rank 103/127
New Medals:
Ice-type Catcher
Rock-type Catcher
Dragon-type Catcher
Dark-type Catcher

Elite Medalist

I called Professor Juniper from the Pokémon Center. She was at a lab on Route 15. I traveled across the Marvelous Bridge from Nimbasa City and met her there.

“Well done on completing your Pokédex, Steve!” she congratulated me.

“Thanks, professor,” I responded. “I’m not sure what to do next though. I’d like to see how my Wailmer is doing, so I might travel back to Hoenn. Or maybe I’ll see my other Pokémon at Haley’s ranch near Sinnoh.”

“I have another idea for you,” said the professor. “How about starting a new journey? There’s a place called the Kalos Region where there are some new Pokémon even I’ve never seen before. And if I remember correctly, there are many more Pokémon native to that region than Unova!”

“Really? It took me two and a half years to catch 301!” I laughed a little, and then changed the subject. “What is this lab, anyway?”

“It’s a lab focusing on Pokémon transporting,” she informed me. “We can transfer Pokémon now, but the current system has its limitations. For example, I won’t be able to transfer any of your Pokémon from Unova all the way to Kalos. But, we are studying a new method that might allow us to increase our range someday.”

“Well, it would be awesome to see all my old friends again,” I said. Then I took out my Pokéballs. “Everyone, come on out for one last time!”

Karrablast, Joltik, Grimer, Pelipper, and Golduck all appeared with a shine.

“Thank you, all of you.” I looked at each one of them. “I hope to someday have you fight by my side again. And who knows, maybe I’ll meet some new friends to join us.”

Professor Juniper put her hand on my shoulder. “The boat to Kalos leaves in a few hours from Castelia City. I promise your Pokémon will be well taken care of at my lab in Nuvema Town.”

I made the short journey to Castelia City, and then boarded the ship. As the ship left the dock, I saw a flock of Wingull in the distance. Then, a Pelipper appeared among them. Riding it was Grimer, Joltik, and Karrablast! Inside its large mouth was Golduck. They were all waving as the ship sailed away. I waved back, remembering the fond times we all had together in Unova, but knowing that it was time for me to move on.

Next stop: the Kalos Region!

Marionz November 15th, 2013 11:38 PM

Manage to get my hands on Black and Black 2 just now and am itching to play it for the first time... Well i will refinish black again then play black 2 for the first time.. Maybe I will put a stop to playing Y (and well I may decide to delete my save game there if ever).

Anyways Marionz decided to abandon all his progress on Kalos so far and travel to Unova region to search himself. His flight is yet to come but he is estimated to arrive there at 16:00 or so. I hope Unova will welcome him as much as Kalos welcomed him so far.

He also decided to release all of his pokemons on Kalos exactly leaving everything behind him. He wants to fully explore Unova first before returning to Kalos once more. And before he returns to Kalos, Marionz wants to make sure that his time and journey on Unova region would not go to waste.

Marionz November 17th, 2013 4:03 AM

Marionz successfully arrived on Unova. Wanting to get a head start, he RNG abused his TID/SID and was successful and thus he is now ready to get his shiny starter pokemon.

Marionz got his first pokemon and didn't nicknamed it. He won his battle against Bianca and Cheren too so "Snivy" really trusts him well now.

14/2: Woke up and decide to train my Virizion along with my other high level pokemon, but before that I went to join revenue to check the progress, there I trained Virizion DEF and ATK since DEF is awfully low and wanted to balance SP DEF and DEF together. Next, I head to old plasma HQ in Drifveli and battle my rival, and yet was easy due I set the difficulty to easy mode, after tons of struggle. I headed to Gamefreak HQ and battle the "normal" trainer and unexpected tough customer type, it was intense and still victory for me. Later at 3:00, I decide do multi battle with chilly(pun intended), the poison jab took slightly half of my Virizion's HP and doesn't matter if Maractus use cotton guard excessively because I would just use Sacred Sword and instantly whoosh it to submission and the final pokemon sent by cris and cres it's a 1-vs-2 battle, but I manage to win it with my virizion <3.

After it's done, time to do some more training. I headed out to Dream Yard and battled Schoolgirl and again it was easy, also battled a youngster with slakoth's evolution line and was a breeze.

Black 1
____________

Here I am. I have scaled the Pokemon League, and N's castle. N awaits me beyond this door, but I am not scared. Legendary dragon or not, I will defeat him.

Ghetsis taunts me, but I pay him no mind. I enter, and approach the throne upon which N rests. He greets me, and notices that Reshiram has ignored my calls. Summoning Zekrom, he gives me a choice: Fight him, or leave.

I utter the hardest words I have said in my life, with the giant dragon glaring down upon me: "Whether Reshiram helps me or not, I will fight you."

As soon as I finish, the Light Stone begins to shake. Pulling it out, it is enveloped in a bright white light, and Reshiram awakens! N steps back, allowing me a chance to combat Reshiram without interference.

I send in Jellicent, who should be effected the least by Reshiram's moves. It takes a few turns, but after several Recover and Night Shade attacks, Reshiram is captured in a Dusk Ball. N compliments me on handling Reshiram. To my surprise, he heals my team as well. "There is no honor in defeating a weakened opponent." He states.

The battle begins, and Reshiram surges to meet Zekrom in brutal combat. Ideals and Truth, clashing once more after thousands of years. Zekrom's tail generator spins up, and it launches a intense bolt of lightning, which impacts Reshiram, causing it to roar in pain. Reshiram follows up with a white-hot blast of fire, peppering Zekrom's body with miniature burn marks - though none of them are severe enough to inhibit it's movement. Zekrom, perhaps sensing the hazard of launching another bolt of lightning, uses Dragon Claw to further weaken Reshiram, and taking another blast of fire in the process. Zekrom attacks once more, landing a Zen Headbutt, and Reshiram falls.

My morale is damaged, but I have prepared for this. I only hope I prepared enough.

Sending out Excadrill, I hope that his Steel-Ground type will protect him from the fury of the Dragon-Electric Zekrom. Luckily, it seems Zekrom is tired from it's fight with Reshiram, resulting in Excadrill being unharassed as it burrows into the ground. Excadrill bursts from the ground beneath Zekrom's feet, and the Legendary topples.

The next pokemon N sends out is a Klinklang. Excadrill burrows once more just as it launches a Focus Blast, nearly missing a surely painful move. Scoring a direct hit reveals that the Klinklang is actually Zoroark in disguise!

Because the Zoroark is not weak to ground type, it remained standing after the attack. I switched Jellicent in, allowing it to absorb a Night Slash before finishing the Zoroark with Brine.

N started dancing nervously as two of his pokemon fall. He then sends in Klinklang, and I have no doubt that it's real. I swap Excadrill in once more, and he absorbs a Thunderbolt harmlessly. A quick Dig later and this round is over.

N decides he's had enough, so he sends in Vanilluxe. I switch to Galvantula, thinking it could handle the Ice-Type. I am proven wrong, after trapping it in Electrowebs twice.

I then loose my closest friend, Emboar, into the battle, and with a roar and a gout of flame, Vanilluxe is vanquished, much to N's frustration.

The next pokemon N sends in is Carracosta. I respond with my Zweilous, creating a no-advantage battle. Zweilous gets a few good hits in, but Carracosta ultimately emerges victorious. Sending in Jellicent, he is met by Crunch, but he holds out. Unfortunately for N and Carracosta, the damage done by Crunch is easily repaired by Recover and the obsenely massive pile of medical supplies I had in my bag. We wait Carracosta out until it's jaw was too sore to continue biting at Jellicent, then proceed to weaken it with Night Shade before finishing it with Brine.

The last pokemon N has is an Archeops. I switch to Excadrill, who begins lobbing stones at the airbourne opponent. Despite the disadvantage, it takes two volleys for the ancient bird to tumble.

My victory is assured... or so I thought. It is now that Ghetsis decides to intervene, and reveals that he was behind all of this from the beginning.

Unlike N, he does not battle for honor, and he doesn't bother to restore my pokemon before sending his to meet them in battle...

Part II, coming sometime.

It's late where I am and I'm too tired to continue right now.

White 2

Started my journey late one evening. Answering to my mother's call, I go out too the assistant of Professor Juniper, Bianca! My friend Hugh and his little sister meet me outside of my home, and Hugh decides to come with me to get my first Pokemon!

Finding Bianca was a bit difficult, but we finally found her at the sight-seeing point! I was shocked to shocked to hear her ask me if I wanted a PokeDex AND a Pokemon! Each of the Pokemon, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, were so cute, but I finally decided to go with Snivy. From what I've heard from Hugh, they're a little more defensive than most Pokemon, but they're incredibly fast as well. Hugh seemed to get a little jealous that I got a PokeDex, and he asked Bianca for one, too. To his surprise, she gave it to him, though, I had a feeling like she was secretly planning on it, anyway.

Much to my surprise, Hugh challenged me to a battle! He's had his Tepig ever since he was little, and sure enough, his experience proved to be better than mine. Snivy and I lost, but we had fun regardless! Hugh is a really good trainer! After our battle Bianca took me to the POkemon Center, and Hugh ran ahead. My mom and Hugh's sister met me and Bianca outside of the Pokemon Center. My mom gave me some Running Shoes, and Hugh's sister gave me a Town Map! She asked if I would bring one to Hugh, as well, so I set off towards Floccesy Town! I finally arrived and met a weird old man named Alder. He seemed really excited to teach me something, but I wasn't paying too much attention to him. he did tell me that hugh ran off to the ranch, however, so I chased after him. On my way there, I happened to run into a wild Litwick! It was so cute, just sitting there. It almost looked as if it was stalking this Youngster...odd. I decided to catch the little guy and add him to my team!

I met Hugh at the ranch, but it turned out that the owner and his wife couldn't find their other Herdier! Little guy probably wandered off into the nearby woods, but Hugh got really upset for some reason...
I decided to help them out, plus i was able to catch a lot of other Pokemon around the area, too. After catching a few Pokemon and storing them in the PC, I headed into the nearby forest and found out that some weird dude in this weird costume had planned to steal Herdier! He heard Hugh call out to me, and when he realized I wasn't alone decided to run out of there. Herdier followed me back to its owner, and the couple offered Hugh and I place to stay for the evening. Before heading off to bed, I decided to train Snivy and Litwick a bit before going to sleep!

Damn this is gonna be a long ass update, and as such, will be placed in a spoiler. c:
Spoiler:

White 2

It's me against one of the heroes of Unova! Two years ago Cheren accompanied Unova's leading hero in their journey to be the greatest Trainers, and fought with the hero against Team Plasma, and the evil Sage Ghetsis. After the victory against the evil group, Cheren began working on his skill and his connection with Pokemon much more than he had done before, and through his own journey of self-discovery, inherited the Basic Badge from Lenora, and became the Gym Leader of Aspertia City.

After defeating Cheren's two students, I was finally able to challenge him at last. His first Pokemon was a rather rowdy Patrat with one heck of a Bite! Litwick was caught seriously off guard from this attack, and unfortunately was forced to retreat. However, the combination of Snivy's Growth and Leaf tornado proved to be far too much for the little rodent, and defeated it swiftly. Cheren's second, and final, Pokemon was a little Lillipup! It had a Tackle that could kill, and it honestly almost did! It managed to land a pretty hefty hit upon Snivy, but Snivy once again was able to defeat his opponent in a single blow! Cheren gave his congratulations, when all of a sudden Snivy began to glow! Seconds later, he evolved into Servine!

With that, I won the Basic Badge, and Cheren's respect, and continued out the door. I was stopped by Bianca, who rewarded me with the C-Gear as well as her contact info! Cheren, stopped us outside to give me his information as well, and was then interrupted by none other than Hugh, who challenged him to a battle.

Finally, I head off to Virbank City. I decided to head to the Virbank Complex for a little training, but was stopped along the way by a strange sound just at the edge of the water! A cute, yet rather large, Wailmer was being attacked by a small group of Grimer (no doubt attracted to the area due to the complex being so near). Litwick managed to scare them all off with a powerful Fire Spin, and I was able to save the Wailmer by bringing it to the Pokemon Center. Afterwards, I captured the little guy, and brought him along with me to the Complex to do a full team training.

Man, is it loud in there! Roxie was in the middle of a jam session and was unable to hear me entirely. I decided my best option was to make it quieter by beating her band-mates in a battle, and then challenge her. Thankfully, their Poison type attacks were nothing against Litwick's resistance (thanks to being part Ghost). They did manage to Poison him, however, which would make the battle against Roxie much harder, and boy did it! Her Koffing started out with a Strong Assurance, which would have knocked Litwick out if not for the earlier Super Potion! Countering with a strong Flame Burst, Litwick was able to knock out Koffing in an instant. Her final Pokemon was a large, menacing Whirlipede. I lucked out when its Pursuit missed Litwick, and one-shotted once again with Flame Burst. Her defeat meant my reward of the Toxic Badge!

Afterwards, I was invited to star in a role in a movie at PokeStar Studios! with not much interest in being a celebrity, however, I declined the offer. While on my way to the docks however, I spotted Roxie and Hugh being confronted with a group of the same type of people I saw at the ranch! They revealed themselves to be the revamped Team Plasma, and are out for pure domination over the world! We as a trio defeated them all too easily, and scared them off. But what were they doing there?

Oh, well. For now, I decide to head off to Castelia City, and challenge the Castelia City Gym!... only to find out that the Gym Leader is not present. Bummer. All of a sudden Hugh comes running about shouting something about having seen a Plasma Grunt. We follow the Trail to the Castelia Sewers, where we find two members lurking about. Having defeated them, Hugh chases after more members, when all of a sudden Burgh reveals himself! He seems to come here often for inspiration for his art. He returns to the gym, and I follow.

Burgh's Gym was absolutely beautiful! Glittering, multicolored spores from the wings of Bug Pokemon filled the air, making it seem like fairy dust was scattering all about. Pure white, silk tubes connected each of the floors to his gym in a wonky, twisting puzzle. through careful navigation, I finally managed to make my way to Burgh, and what a sight it was! His room's floor was completely covered in a multitude of different colors of wet paint, making the room seems surreal. He accepted my challenge and started with a calm Swadloon. I naturally sent out my Litwick and burned it to a crsip with Flame Burst. He then switched to Dwebble, a Bug/Rock type, and I decided my best option would be to switch to Wailmer. Wailmer's Water Pulse proved to be too much for it, and Dwebble fell with just two hits. Lastly, Burgh's ace in the hole, Leavanny. Litwick had a slighter more difficult battle, but ultimately my little flame ghost proved to be too much for the Bug/Grass type Pokemon.

Now, with the Insect Badge in my possession, I make my way towards Nimbasa City, to challenge Elesa. On the way to Route 4, I am stopped by a strange looking scientist, who asked that I accompany him to a group of Crustle. They appeared to be exhausted from a long journey, to which this man, who calls himself Colress, uses a strange machine to restore their vigor. With the Crustle gone, he challenges me to a quick battle, and it was a rather tough one, at that! His Magnemite and Klink both received quite a boost in their special defense thanks to the unending sandstorm, but ultimately fell to Snivy's Growth boosted Leaf Tornado. The strange man thanked me for the battle, and left.

Just before exiting Route 4, I stumbled upon a building known as Join Avenue, which I somehow ended up manager of! I was able to convince a few people to set up shop, and finally left. Nimbasa City sure was grand. So many lights, sounds, and colors all in one place! I left westward for Route 6, where I bumped into Bianca! She showed me a passage called a Hidden Hollow, which sometimes has Pokemon with strange Abilities that they normally would not have! Inside, I found a cute little Gothita, that had the ability Shadow Tag! I decide to add the little gal to my team, and then decided to train all of my Pokemon on Route 6.

Elesa, the most beautiful woman in all of Unova, supermodel extraordinaire, and powerful Electric Pokemon master to boot! Her gym as a runway is rather suiting for her, and her Pokemons' dazzling moves suit it just as well. She started off with a pesky, fast Emolga that almost immediately used Volt Switch on Gothita. Flaffy came in, and took the full attack of Gothita's Psyshock, landing quite the critical hit! She sent out that Emolga once again, and decided to attack ith a double Aerical Ace combo! Gothita proved stronger, and managed to endure both attacks, returning her own Psyshocks! Lastly, Elesa's Zebstrika. I recall Gothita and sent out Servine, who managed to lay down a quick Leech Seed before getting hit by a strong Flame Charge. Luckily, Leech Seed healed it just enough to survive a second attack, and combined with Mega Drain, healed right back to just enough health to survive once more. After a second Mega Drain, and a final sapping from the Leech Seed, I came out victorious, and obtained the Bolt Badge.

I return to the Pokemon Center and heal my friends, when I notice Hugh confronting more Team Plasma members. Why is he so actively fighting against these people? After helping him defeat the sinister group, I find out why. His late grandfather apparently gave his sister a Purrloin for her birthday, and Team Plasma stole it five years ago. Since then, he swore to get it back. Still, I'm not so sure I agree with how actively, and how aggressively, he opposes them...

We chase them into Driftveil City, and spot one of the older Plasma members trying to cinvince his frined (who works for the new Plasma) to quit, and join the side of good. The Neo Plasma grunt calls his former friend a traitor, and leaves the scene. The Good Plasma member spots me, and ask that I accompany him to where he and the other older members are staying. There, I meet one of the former Seven Sages, who challenges me to a quick battle. He judged that I was close and loving to my Pokemon, and invited me to stay inside, when Hugh appears! Hugh's anger is not subtle towards these people. The Sage can do nothing more than apologize, and Hugh was not going ot have it. He said some rather unnecessary remarks, and storms out.

Later, I find Hugh still fuming about Clay, the Driftveil Gym Leader, allowing the old Team Plasma take shelter in his city. Clay happens to overhear this, and tries to tell Hugh that people constantly change, and that nothing is definite. Their evil deeds and their twisted hearts changed, and that is why Clay let them live there. Hugh is unable to accept this, and storms off once again. With a hard sigh, Clay accepts my challenge to a battle for his badge. Before I did that, I decide to train my companions in the nearby route, and happened to manage evolving Servine into Serperior, and Gothita into Gothorita!

Clay sure is one tough cowboy! He started off strong with his Krokorok, who's Crunch almost knocked out my Gothorita! I decide to switch in my Wailmer, and knocked Krokorok out with a strong Water Spout. Next, Clay sent out his sturdy Sandslash, but it fell just as hard (and as easily) to yet another Water Spout. Finally, Clay's closest friend, Excadrill. Excadrill was a bit faster, and managed to land a good Bulldoze on Wailer, significantly lowering the power of Water Spout, which let Excadrill survive the attack with plenty of health left. I decide to switch out with Serperior, who was able to knock out the drill-happy mole with two Mega Drains.

With his defeat, Clay gave me the Quake Badge, and invited me to the Pokemon World Tournament! The building took the place of the old Cold Storage, and was home to many huts filled with move tutors. In the PWT, I see Cheren and Hugh waiting outside. They decide to enter with me, and the strange man from Route 4 was entering, as well. I defeated Hugh and Cheren in the first to rounds, and ended up against Colress once again. His team not much different than the last time, but much easier than before. After the tournament, Clay, Hugh, Cheren, and myself spot Team plasma outside. Cheren and Hugh chase after them, but Colress pleaded they stop, saying that it was much too dangerous. They ignored his warning and boarded their ship. I decided to at least help them survive. After we defeat a large amount of their grunts, we were kicked off by the mysterious Shadow Triad.

I rested at the home of Old Team Plasma, and made my way through Chargestone Cave, where I met Bianca once again. She was conducting research of Professor Juniper on the Pokemon named Tynamo. I travel through the static dungeon and came out to Mistralton City! There, I met Professor Juniper herself, along with Mistralton's Gym Leader, Skyla. I headed to the Gym for a match against Skyla and her Flying type Pokemon after some training at Celestial Tower, where Wailmer and Liwick both evolved!

She much be some kind of sadist, because her Gym was insane! Strong gusts of wind every few seconds that would slam you into a wall with extreme force if you weren't already propping yourself against or behind one. However, I was quick enough to avoid being blown away, and was able to challenge her. She sent out her Swoobat first, and I replied with my newly evolved Lampent. Lampent easily knocked her out with a single Shadow Ball. She then sent out her Skarmory, yet it was no match for Lampent's Flame Burst. Finally, her Swanna, who fell to a swift, yet strong thunderbolt from Gothorita, who learned the attack after having a spiritual journey in Celestial Tower... I promise.

With victory n my hands in the form of the Jet Badge, I head outside only to be stopped by Skyla once more. She invites me to fly with her and Professor Juniper to Lentimas Town, when we were interrupted by Bianca, who exclaimed he wished to join as well. We head off in Skyla's massive jet, and land safely at our destination. In the desert town, a man taught Serperior how to use Dragon Pulse, a move that would definitely come in handy for a later battle!

One the way to Reversal Mountain, I saw something dark, and strange in the distance. When I finally arrived to what I saw, I saw that it was a spooky and abandoned house! I entered with caution, with Lampent already out of its Pokeball to act as my guide and light. I found some stairs that led to the basement library, and found the TM Shadow Ball! I taught it to Gothorita, and I also found a Dusk Stone! I decided it was time to use it on Lampent, and evolve it to Chandelure. I make my way back upstairs and found a ghost, a real one, not a Pokemon! She seemed lost, lonely, and confused. I entered what seemed to be her bedroom and found the Lunar Wing the ghost appeared once more, and revealed she died due to an unending nightmare, and by time the Lunar Wing was in her possession, it was already too late... After leaving, it seemed as though my Pokemon learned moves they did not once know, and Serperior's ability seemed to have changed. Did that ghost girl do this?

Finally, I make my way to Reversal Mountain, where I meet up with Bianca and decide to travel with her once more. She seems to be looking for a certain Pokemon, whose blood is thick like magma, and whose skin is as tough as hardened lava. We reach the cave where this Pokemon is meant to be, only to be suddenly surround by violent lava! The cave was far too small for Wailord to cool down the lava with its water, and we thought all was lost. Suddenly, Gothorita appeared form its Ball and evolved into Gothitelle, using its newly much more powerfuul Psychic power to clear a path for us all. rjoicing our escape, and high off of the adrenaline, Bianca and I rush to the exit like giddy children. I finally arrived at Undella Town, known for its serene beach, calming waves, and beautiful Marine Tube. I decided to rest in one of the rental villas, and call it a night.

I wanted to start playing White 2 again and since I transferred all my strong and legendary Pokemon to Pokemon X that normally would be the perfect opportunity to restart the whole thing. But that's not how I roll :P
I don't want to play through the whole game again, to get a couple of Pokemon that I want to try out and I'm also no fan of those "trainer travels through the world and has an adventure"-stories. Instead I came up with what I call "the Post-Pokebank-alyptic" time: the legendaries and the strong Pokemon have disappeared and the world lies in disarray, because a couple of corrupt Pokemon now try to take over the world.

But who would stand up against these guys? Well that's still to be seen. Without any goal in mind a group consisting of a Volcarona, a Ferroseed, a Zangoose and a Braciary made their way through Route 9. While taking a break suddenly sounds of a fight came to their ears. A quick interference allowed the group to rescue a Pawniard, who was fighting a big group of bad guys.
The Pawniard was out to defeat all who would stand in his way to become the strongest, but even he had to realize that he needed help in order to achieve his goals, which is why he joined the group. As he made himself the leader his first issue was to train in order to become stronger. Unfortunately only Ferroseed joined him, so both of them trained hard until they finally evolve.
After the training was finished Bisharp wanted to test his skills which is why he decided to participate in the so called Pokemon World Tournament. He also forced Ferrothorn and Volcarona into the whole thing and who would have thought: the three of them took the whole tournament on and achieved a blazing victory.

The first step being made in order to get more intel on the bad guys the group was chasing someone (whose Xtransceiver they found) who was supposed to know about their hideout but it turned out to be a fake. But at least they were told to meet someone in Nacrene City.
The group made their way to Nacrene City and met up with a guy called Tirtouga who not only told them about an ancient tower, but also joined the party. As Bisharp issued the command to head there, Zangoose picked a fight with Bisharp since he could no longer stand this guy giving commands. But not being able to accompish anything Zangoose decided to leave the group.

After a long flight the party finally reached Dragonspiral Tower where they found a really old machine which was still working and which introduced itself as Golurk. He decided to help the group and told them about an ancient cave deep in the White Forest, but they needed a key to get access to it. Unfortunately due to the bad guys interferring with the group Braviary got shot down and so the group, not being able to fly anymore, was wandering around aimlessly finally reaching Giant Chasm. There the group had the pleasure in meeting with Vanillish who not only joined the group but also turned out to be a good mechanic which is why she found out that Golurk had the ability to fly (which he didn't even know himself).

With new wings the group managed to procure the key and made their way to the White Forest in order to solve the ancient tests that are hidden in the cave.

The party:

Bisharp (m) (the leader)
Level: 60
Ability: Defiant
Lax Nature
- Iron Head
- Aerial Ace
- Night Slash
- Hone Claws

Golurk (the ancient mashine)

- Shadow Punch
- Fly
- Earthquake

Vanilluxe (f) (the mechanic)
Level: 49
Ability: Ice Body
Relaxed Nature
- Acid Armor
- Ice Beam
- Hail
- Mirror Coat

Carracosta (m) (the old marine)
Level: 42
Ability: Sturdy
Brave Nature
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Shell Smash
- Smack Down

Ferrothorn (f) (the tank)
Level: 41
Ability: Iron Barbs
Quirky Nature

- Gyro Ball
- Pin Missile
- Iron Defence

Volcarona (f) (the artillerist)
Level: 40
Ability: Flame Body
Adamant Nature
- Psychic
- Leech Life
- Flamethrower
- Gust

The group still has a ways to go and still a lot to learn. Will they find out who is trying to conquer the world? Will they be able to bring peace to the world once more or is a bad ending inevitable and all their tries in vain? Well, find out next time!

This is my play through Black 2.
Character: Kaythe - ♀ - Age: 16

Mom pulled me away from the television to ask if I wanted a Pokémon. What was with this sudden question? She had come bursting through the door and barged into my room to ask silly questions? That would be likely. When I answered yes to all her annoying questions, she told me that she was asking because I was going to get a Pokémon from a woman named Bianca who was the assistant to the well known Prof. Juniper. Mom shoved my bag, full of random things, into my arms and basically pushed me out the door. With a grumble, I looked around the town. Did Mom even know where this girl was? She had a green hat... was I supposed to find her just based on that? Well, the Aspertia City lookout would give me a good view of the town, so I began to head that way. My friend Hugh ran up to me, panting with exertion. "I heard you're getting a Pokémon?!" he shouted. He was waaaaaaay too worked up over this. I nodded. "I'll follow you, then!" he shouted again. I rubbed my ears, and his cheeks turned red. He scratched the back of his head, "Sorry, I'm just excited. I know you are someone I can count on!" I decided to let Hugh follow me. I headed towards the lookout. As I headed up the stairs, Hugh said, "Oh, I get it. You can probably find this Bianca-person easier from up there!" I nodded and headed up. A blond woman with a large green hat looked over the ledge, staring into the wilderness. "Bianca...?" I asked. She turned around, shrieking in shock. I stepped back a little. "Oh, ah, sorry, sorry. I was so fascinated with the beauty that I wasn't paying attention. Say, would you know where a young lady named Kaythe would be?" she asked, a sheepish grin on her. "That would be me," I responded. She blushed in embarrassment. "Oh! Sheesh! Silly me. You look exactly how Prof. Juniper said you would!! I'm Bianca... Oh, but you already know that... Haha, sorry, I'm a little nervous... Anyways, here are the three starter Pokémon you can choose from," she stuttered, holding out a case filled with three Pokéballs. I looked at each Pokémon through their Pokéball. I chose Oshawott, because he was so adorable and his grin was mischievous.

Next, Bianca handed me a red device. I looked at her in confusion. "This is a Pokédex," she explained, eager to teach, "It records all the data of Pokémon you catch!" I took it. Hugh suddenly came charging up the stairs. Bianca looked alarmed, but I stared at Hugh, deadpanned. "Hey! What's that red thingy-majiggy?!" he shouted. I sighed. So he was back to the shouting? "Huh? Oh, that's a Pokédex. Its an encyclopedia of Pokémon you catch," Bianca said. "Will it make me a better trainer?" he asked her. The blond nodded. "Give me one, then!!" he demanded. "Well, okay. I don't really get it, but if it helps... Pokédex distribution has become more wide spread now. So, here you go," Bianca said. She handed Hugh a blue one. I glared at the blue. I wanted blue!! "Well, now that that is all done, why don't we battle?" I suggested. "Sure! I'll take you on using the Pokémon I raised from an egg!"

To be continued....!!

I was grinding before the E4 and I got infected with the Pokerus. So that gave me an even bigger reason to start grinding even more for to get those EV's up. This is the 2nd time where I get infected with the Pokerus during one of my playthroughs. So this is a 2 points in getting the Pokerus and 0 for encountering a shiny Pokemon in any Pokemon games, lol...

Guildmaster Wigglytuff's White Adventure

http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110516220410/pokemon/images/6/68/Pokemon_White_Logo.png

So I decided to start replaying White, since I haven't played it much since completing it for the first time. And, after I complete this playthrough, I'll start transferring my Pokemon to Y using Pokemon Bank/PokeTransporter! I'm looking forward to this, since Unova is the region that I have the least amount of experience with. So without further ado, let's get this started.

-----

The journey begins with Prof. Juniper asking me basic questions, although she really should be able to tell my gender. She then introduces me to my two best friends. Which is strange, since if they're my best friends, I shouldn't have to be introduced to them. Oh well.

I start in my room. Cheren is there, and Bianca arrives shortly after. We all pick a Pokemon from a box that Prof. Juniper gave us. Naturally I pick first. I am the main character, after all. After very little thinking, I choose Snivy because it seemed to be the Serperior Pokemon. (see what I did there?)

Just kidding, I chose Oshawott.

Bianca then convinces us to all have a Pokemon battle in my room. I easily defeat both Bianca and Cheren, although my room is basically destroyed in the process. There are even footprints on my walls. All I did was use Tackle a few times... The Wii in my room is unscratched, though. Can't have any Nintendo consoles damaged.

Cheren and Bianca go downstairs to apologize for the disaster they caused in my room, but my mom stays calm and says she'll clean it later. I can tell that she's secretly furious. Anyway, I then leave to thank Prof. Juniper for the Pokemon.

Bianca is taking her time going to the lab, so I go to check on her at her house. As I arrive, I can hear her and her father arguing about her being able to go on an adventure with Pokemon. I quickly apologize for interrupting their family affairs, and head back toward the lab, with Bianca coming as well.

At Prof. Juniper's lab, the professor introduces herself and asks us to travel the region, collecting data on hundreds of Pokemon. Sure, why not? She asks us to meet her at Route 1, and then leaves. I guess we have to follow her. Outside, my mom appears and gives all three of us Town Maps so we don't get lost on our adventure.

As we approach Route 1, Bianca decides that we should all take our first steps together. What. Since apparently I have no choice, we all walk together for a few steps, like this is some magical event. Prof. Juniper greets us and demonstrates how to catch a wild Pokemon. She catches a Patrat and gives us some Pokeballs before going ahead to Accumula Town. Cheren and Bianca both say that they are heading to Accumula town, as if there were any other place to go. Cheren makes a challenge to see who can catch the most Pokemon before reaching Accumula Town. I guess I should go catch some wild Pokemon.

Just started my Unova Adventure.

Chose Oshawott as my starter.

Began on Route 1.

Hilbert July 30th, 2014 4:39 AM

A journey never ends

I just finished my White 2.
Here's my team and also the pokemon used in the journey
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/673/wIAuKP.png

I will speak for all of them
Servi(Serperior) male lv.59 Calm Used from begin to champion
Took it as starter(the only genertaion where I take a grass starter). I used it as main against Cheren, helped against Elesa and especially Marlon. A reliable guy who was of the best switches.

Altos(Altaria) male lv.60 Hasty Used from after 6th badge to champion
The newest member of the team who althought I would say my most weak managed to face Iris in the climax. Really he helped a lot against Drayden and Iris, which both were the toughest chellnges for me in the game(especially Iris).

Figus(Cofagrigus) male lv.59 Rash Used from after 3rd badge to champion
A slow yet reliable guy who went almost against anything and a perfect shield for healign and reviving. Yet even if slow with quick claw it was not just a few times he made the reversal.

Arcan(Arcanine) male lv.61 Mild Used from after 1st badge to champion
What to say about Arcan? If there was an award for best pokemon of the Journey that would go to him. He was main against Burgh, Elesa, Skyla and dared to face also against the ground and water gym leaders! He did not hestitate to fight water pokemon with his Thunder fang. Althought in the Elite four he was not much used for the rest of the journey he was the best!

Azuma(Azumarill) female lv. 61 Serious Used from begin to champion
Azuma started as a weak Azurill. Yet after evolving to Azumarill she was powerful. A main at the 5th gym and also the greatest fighter against the hard Drayden and the brutal Iris she proved herself to everyone.

Eon(Espeon) male lv.60 Naive Used from after 2nd badge to champion
Eon althought I would not say a main(expect when he tottaly ruined the Fighting Elite) managed to support the rest of the team in times of need. With Figus those two made a team you don't want to mess with.

Others that were put on PC
Dove(Pidove) female lv.20 Serious Used from begin to after 2nd badge
Dove was a strong Pidove and was the main against the poison girl(supported a little by Arcan). Eventually until I got Altos I switched her to use her for Fly.

Lucas(Lucario) male lv.24 Relaxed Used from begin to after 3rd badge
Lucas was no good at start but quick grew to one of the best fighters almost matching Arcan at that time

Lili(Liligant) female lv.39 Brave Used from before 3rd badge to after 6th badge
When I saw Lili I instantly wanted to catch her. It was that moment that she was added to my favorite pokemon list. She was great and almost unbeatable. With Servi they were a perfect team. It was the most sad parting. But now I wil ltrain her again.

Pharos(Flaafy) male lv.18 Calm Used from begin to after 2nd badge
Another reliable guy who managed to slow down the enemies for the others.

Now on to create my 30-members team for PWT!

I've just started a new save file on a French Black ROM, since I've already played both Black and White before, and I wanted to change things up a bit. If the team is going to be a bit imbalanced, that's because it's actually a challenge where I pick my six Pokemon based on zodiac signs. Naming theme is the mythology behind the constellations corresponding to the zodiac signs, and my trainer is also based on that. Here we go!

Ouranie is a young girl who is passionate about the stars. She has her heart set on climbing the Victory Road and reach the highest spot in Unova for the ultimate stargazing experience! But in order to this, she must collect all eight badges and challenge the Unova League!

Nuvema Town
I'm starting my journey in Nuvema Town, together with my best friends, Tcheren and Bianca. Professor Juniper has delivered the three starter Pokemon to my house, and each of us gets to chose one. I have first pick; we're in my house after all, and since I've always loved Water-types, I quickly decide on Oshawott.

Poke Ball in hand, we all call out our new partners: Bianca's very hyper Tepig, Tcheren's very smug Snivy - how fitting for both of them, I thought -, and my very... apathetic Oshawott suddenly appear in the middle of the room. I must confess, I'm rather surprised how despite his species' reputation of being curious little fellows, this one seemed rather uninterested in all the commotion.

Ganymède ♂ Lv. 5
Lax, often lost in thought
Torrent
Tackle · Tail Whip

Tcheren is quietly assessing the trio, while Bianca can't stop gushing over them and immediately suggests we all battle each other right away. These guys are so tiny, it's totally safe to battle indoors, she says, and I can't say no to that. We end up thrashing the whole place. My mother's pretending not to mind it much, but you can tell that she can't wait to have us out of the house.

After a quick detour over at Juniper's lab, we're on our way to Route 1, and the start of our adventure. Tcheren wants to become League Champion, Bianca just wants to prove to her father that she can manage by herself, and me, I just can't wait to soak in the night sky at the peak of Victory Road!

Accumula Town
After an uneventful trek through Route 1, we're reaching Accumula Town in the evening, and it seems like we're in for something different. While Bianca goes ahead to the Poke Center, Tcheren and I join a large crowd in the plaza, where Team Plasma is holding a rally, with their leader, a scary old man who goes by the name of Ghetis, preaching for Pokemon liberation. The two of us are unimpressed, though some of the people seem confused. One man in particular stands out; he's young, very tall and slender, but what's most intriguing is his expression. He seems enraptured, but distant somehow. I wonder if he's a Trainer? I notice a cute Purrloin rubbing up against his legs, so he must be.

We're having enough of this, so we're off to the Pokemon Center. Tomorrow we'll be on our way on Route 2.

Striaton City
Both Bianca and Tcheren have found a new partner of their own. Tcheren's team of Snivy and Purrloin excel in speed and accuracy and are boasting with confidence, especially after their recent win at the Gym against Armando, the Fire-type specialist. Bianca's team of Tepig and Lillipup are all over the place, severely unprepared and quite disheartened, and haven't even challenged the Gym yet. I'm having a hard time too, as my Oshawott, Ganymède, seems rather lax in battle. We've already lost twice against Rachid, the Grass-type specialist's prized Pansage, but today, we have a secret weapon.

vs Rachid
Rachid sends out his Lillipup, while I send out Ganymède. They're cautiously eyeing us, while Ganymède uses Water Gun to soak Lillipup. It tries to come closer and Bite, but the jet of water is keeping it away, and it finally succumbs, falling down in a puddle. Water won't help you against my Pansage, Rachid boasts, as to remind us of our previous failures at his Gym.

While Pansage is building up his strength with Work Up, we go right to the offensive with a Tackle, and then another one. Don't let it hit you, I cry out, but Ganymède is just standing there. Pansage unleashes a strong Vine Whip, and it hits its mark directly behind the head. Nearly out of breath, Ganymède takes out an Oran Berry stashed inside his scalchop and is munching on it. Another Vine Whip is coming fast, but with newly found strength, he goes for another Tackle. My strategy is working! He slams into Pansage, but takes another Vine Whip in the same spot. They're both standing there, both obviously on the brink of fainting. Pansage is the first to fall down and the match is over.

I meet with Rachid at the center of the battlefield. We both collect our Pokemon of the ground, and he presents me with the Trio Badge, as Armando and Noa are watching from the balcony. Finally the coveted first badge is ours!

As I go back to the dining area, a silly grin plastered on my face, I see Tcheren and Bianca waiting for me at a table. I get it that we're good to leave town, then?, he says, while Bianca's expression goes blank.

I'm dropping out of the League challenge, she says, so I won't be coming with you two... Wait, what? Are you going back to Nuvema? How about your father, proving yourself? No, no, I'm not going back! I'll be staying here in Striaton, as Dr. Oryse's assistant. She's one of Juniper's associates and she needs help with some experiments she's doing in the Dreamyard, Bianca explains, trying to go back to her usual cheery self. I can't believe we won't be traveling together anymore...

Route 3
Route 3 is quiet, or rather, until you reach the Daycare. There's a Minccino and a bunch of Cottonee running around in the yard, and children laughing and having fun on the playground. I built this Pokemon Daycare with my husband when our daughter was born, and then she built the children daycare when my granddaughter was born, the old lady explains. They ask us if we'd like some dinner and then spend the night, it is late after all, and we agree, but as we're going inside, Tcheren asks for a 1 vs 1 battle. And he means a real battle, now that we both have the Trio Badge.

vs Tcheren
He sends out his Snivy, I send out Ganymède. This is gonna be a tough one. Let's distract them, use Tail Whip! Ganymède turns his back to Snivy and cutely wags his tail. That won't work on us, he smirks, and commands a Vine Whip. The vines quickly wrap around Ganymède's tail, pulling him slightly. To my surprise, he seems almost... annoyed? He turns around and shoots a jet of water to Snivy's face. Snivy couldn't care less, he's a Grass-type after all, and lets go of Ganymède's tail and prepares for another good whipping.

But then something even more amazing happens: Ganymède takes out his scalchop, waving it in the air. There's a blade of water coming out of it, could that be...? He's deflecting the vines with his scalchop, and Snivy is forced to come closer. Focused on hitting his target, he leaves himself open. Now, Tackle it! Ganymède lunges at Snivy, who's toppled over and knocked out.

Tcheren is shocked, and frankly, so am I. If Ganymède has just learned Razor Shell, this means that surely, he's ready to evolve. For the moment, though, he's just standing there, absent-minded, looking at the night sky. At least that's something that we have in common.

The next day, we can't help but stay for brunch, but as we're packing our bags to leave the daycare, we hear some ruckus outside, and then a very familiar voice. Wait, give it back!, she cries, and we see a disheveled Bianca rushing on the path, giving chase to a couple of Plasma Grunts who are running off in the distance. They stole this girl's Pokemon, she says, and points to a lass who's clearly to exhausted to run anymore. In a moment, Tcheren and I are on Plasma's tracks.

Wellspring Cave
The thugs are trying to take cover in a nearby cave, and we catch up to them just as they're getting ready to dive into the cave's spring. Cornered, they both send out a Patrat at the same time, but we're on it. Ganymède uses Razor Shell to knock out one of the Patrat, as the other Patrat lunges at him. Two against one, it's not very nice! Tcheren's Snivy unleashes his Vine Whip after the Patrat, but it evades, much to Tcheren's chagrin. Ganymède meets its attack with his Razor Shell, and the battle is over.

The grunts have escaped in the commotion, though, leaving behind the stolen Purrloin, and both their Patrat. Tcheren and I are dumbfounded that they've abandoned their own Pokemon. But this is no time to waste, so we grab all the Pokemon and head back. As we leave the poor Patrat to the daycare lady, and return the Purrloin to its rightful Trainer, we're shocked to hear even more disturbing news from Bianca.

She was collecting Dream Mist in the Dreamyard yesterday, as part of her assistant duties to Dr. Oryse, when she found the same two Plasma thugs kicking a Munna to force it to expel her Dream Mist. Luckily, a Musharna chased them away. If only I had been strong enough to battle them, they wouldn't have escaped and steal this girl's Pokemon today, Bianca says, disheartened. But she's going to do her best, and for now, she's going to accompany the girl back to Striaton.

Nacrene City
I finally reached Nacrene at dusk. I don't know if Tcheren got here or if he's camping out on Route 3. After Bianca went back to Striaton, he decided that it was time for us to part ways too. He said he knows he was useless in the battle against Plasma, and that the way he lost against me even with a clear type advantage was pathetic. He wants to get stronger on his own, so from now on we'll be traveling separately.

But this is no time to be gloomy, I'm not alone. On the roof of the tallest warehouse in Nacrene, me and Ganymède are watching the night sky, and tomorrow will be one step closer to an even higher spot.

That's right, I got the White trainer card on my main White 2 version that i've had since shortly after the NA release. The first three objectives (defeat Iris, defeat the Champions Tournament at the PWT, and get good endings on all the Pokéstar Studios films) I did that fall, then I completed my Pokédex in May 2013. I got the last one - get the Black and White Entree Levels to 30 in the same game - just tonight. I had to do a lot of Funfest missions between all three other copies of the game I had (two copies of Black 2 and another White 2) to get there, and before this week I was at I think 19 for Black and 10 for White. The work was awkward and time-consuming, but I got it done.

So yeah, that feels pretty darn good, considering probably not many people have it.

I turned on White after a very long break and I have 7 badges. I somehow
made it out of Twist Mountain. Current team is still Serperior, Darmanitan, Sigilyph, Carracosta, and Eelektrik. I needed to make my way through Dragonspiral Tower now. Alas, I didn't have Strength, so I had to backtrack somehow to Nimbasa. I taught Fly to a spare Woobat I caught in Twist Mountain because Sigilyph doesn't benefit from learning Fly, but it made the trip faster.

While heading towards Dragonspiral, I ran into a winter form Deerling, which looked adorable. I think I'm gonna end up using it instead of Serperior because it evolved after two levels. :D
I beat up the Plasma grunts in the tower and set my sights on Relic Castle next. I had to visit Nacrene, but then my DS battery went red, so it's a good time to take a break.

Started playing last week and spent a few days deciding on a starter and resetting for a decent Nature. Initially I went with Oshawott as usual, but I eventually decided to go with Tepig since I'll be needing a decent Fighting type later and I can't get Conkeldurr due to lack of another Gen V game at the moment and everything else is boring. I wanted an Adamant Tepig but I eventually got impatient and settled for Brave when I got that instead.

As per usual when I play through these games, I've been catching just about everything I come across and use whatever has a type advantage or resistance to the current Gym Leader. My teams for the first three Gyms were:

Striaton: Lillipup, Pansage, Tepig
Nacrene: Sawk, Throh, Timburr, Pignite
Castelia: Woobat, Tranquill, Roggenrola, Swadloon, Pignite

Now I'm grinding before going through Route 4 + Desert Resort and eventually moving onto Nimbasa City. Might also take the time to level up a few other Pokemon and evolve them for Dex entries.

After a multiple months long break, I returned to my little White prototype challenge run, that I had been testrunning. What's important to note about said challenge, is that I sticked to one team only, which was partly consisting of decent mons and partly of stuff that nobody would ever use. When I paused the challenge, I was already at the last Cheren fight with my team of (Klutz) Swoobat, Samurott, Scrafty, Excadrill, Lilligant and Eelektross, all of them being around level 40. Now, the level was so low, because I wanted to awoid leveling as much as possible and even after picking it up again, I still beat the game with minimal grinding (if at all), however, I had to realize, that this game especally didn't hand you out most of the good TMs untill the actual postgame, which for me meant, that I was extremely underpowered and at a hugh disadvantage.

Fortunately, as it was only a prototype challenge, I left a certain amount of freedom for me, in case I ran into trouble. In order, to beat it, I allowed myself to use X items, as they weren't banned in the first place. That way I beat Cheren fairly easily, by using a couple X Speed and I also had to resort to a couple X items during one of the E4. Outside of that, while it was still fairly doable, the point, where I went all out was Ghentsis himself, as the differense in power was so hugh, that I couldn't even touch him at all, while he took out every mon I had, without any issue.

As a final resort, I abused one of Ghetsis' biggest weaknesses: the Cofagrigus who he sends out first, can't touch Excadrill at all. So while he desperately tried to KO my Excadrill with Shadow Ball, I used the situation to pump it full of everything, which allowed me to sweep Ghetsis' whole team.

So, pretty much: it's possible to beat the game with a team of level 45 mons, but you're so underpowered, that you need the extra power that X items provide, especially when using terrible mons that still lack power even on higher levels. Combined with the fact, that most of the good and powerfull TMs are only available postgame, I can certainly agree, that Black and White are one of the hardest games to do such a challenge.

Pokemon Blaze Black 2
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/a/a0/Nate_Xtransceiver.png

Intro
So I decided to start again on Black 2 since it has been such a long time since I last played through any of the Unova games. Not only that but it has been some time since I've played any Pokemon game, so I felt this would be a great way to get back into the swing of things! I'm actually doing this run on Blaze Black 2, an enhanced version of Black 2 with many changes to the gameplay. This time I haven't decided what Pokemon I'm going to use before playing since I'm unaware of what Pokemon are available from each area, instead I'm going to let my team come together as I go.

Part One
This first part will be relivatly short, it's all the same when it comes to starting out. You meet the Professor, receive your starter and complete the first set of instructed errands. After picking up Snivy as my starter and defeating Hugh, I headed out onto Route 19 to be greeted by Bianca who was going to show me how to capture Pokemon. After speaking to Bianca, I started training up my starter Pokemon and managed to capture my next team member, Purrloin!

Moving onto Floccesy Town, I met up with Alder who was willing to offer his assistance, but not before I delivered the Town Map to my rival! Heading out onto Route 20 and other than capturing a couple of new Pokemon and battling some trainers, it was pretty much what you'd expect. Upon reaching Floccesy Ranch, I ran into Hugh who challenged me to a battle, again. It was a pretty straight forward battle considering he only had two Pokemon, and by this point I had trained my team up to a good level. After searching around the Ranch and capturing Mareep as my next team member, I healed up my Pokemon and saved the game.

Jasper's Black 2 Dark monotype diary

I have always had a fascination with dark type pokemon. There is something so mysterious and graceful about them. So of course when mum asked if I wanted a Pokemon I jumped at the chance. I head out and meet up with Edward and explain that I was heading off to find the Professor's assistant to get a pokemon. He tagged along and of course I headed to the viewing point which had the best view. I saw her and walked over explaining that I was Jasper after she mistook who I was. I decided to pick Oshawott even though I knew it would only be until I caught my first team member which I knew would be a Purrloin which was on Route 19. I grabbed my pokedex and headed to leave when Edward challenges me to a battle. I nod and took on his Snivy... And won. Anyway, Bianca showed me around the pokemon centre and showed me how to catch a pokemon. I smile as she left. I'm finally becoming what I want to be... The best Dark Type Trainer that I can be. Bring it on! On my first solo encounter I meet a female Purrloin. I get it to below half health and throw a ball. It breaks out and I sigh, I don't want to risk knocking it out so I throw another one and catch it! I already had a name in mind, just to remind me of home, I call her Esme after my mother. I'll train her tomorrow seeing as it is late. As I head to Floccesy Town I am stopped by a guy called Alder... Wait... He was the Champion of Unova two years back. He agrees to train me, I tell him that I was going to rest in the pokemon centre for the night and agreed to train with him tomorrow. I box Oshawott and cuddle with Esme as I fall asleep.

Also Esme evolved and is such an amazingly fast pokemon. I'm currently on my way to Driftviel city to take on Clay. Not much left to say, I'm just grinding at the moment and hoping to evolve Moonlight and BlackGlass soon. Wait scrap that Moonlight just evolved into a handsome Umbreon.

I've been slowly working on completing all the movies in PokeStar Studios with a strange ending, and finally did so today, ending with the Full Metal Cop series n_n

Miau February 27th, 2016 11:17 AM

So I found this old save file that I haven't touched since August 2014, and I decided to maybe finish it at some point. Hopefully it won't take another year and a half until I actually get to the end.

Ouranie is a young girl who is passionate about the stars. She has her heart set on climbing the Victory Road and reach the highest spot in Unova for the ultimate stargazing experience! But in order to this, she must collect all eight badges and challenge the Unova League!

@ Icirrus City
Mistralton City
Thanks to the elevated walkways on Route 7, we were able to avoid the tall grass and get back to Mistralton City in no time. The team is ready for some Gym action, especially newly-evolved Dioscures the Vanillish; it's hard to think that just yesterday he was no bigger than a cone of Castelia soft-serve, and now he's going to be the MVP of this Gym challenge!

vs Carolina
A Flying-type master, Carolina quickly takes the battle up into the air; but while her strategy keeps her Pokemon out of reach from claws and fangs, her Swoobat and Unfezant prove to be mere training targets for Dioscures' well-aimed Ice Beam. However, her last resort, Swanna, by far more resistant to our icy attacks, is proudly leading the battle from inside a healing Aqua Ring. With a strong beat of the wing, she sends a critical Air Slash that nearly topples Dioscures. One last Ice Beam is all we need... and we get it! The freezing beam penetrates through the protective water membrane, knocking Swanna out of the air and into a spiral dive. We've earned the Jet Badge!

Outside the Gym, we find N, still convinced that it is his duty to liberate Pokemon from the clutches of abusive Trainers. And while he's aware that there are Trainers out there who care about their Pokemon (like you, Ouranie, he says), he is determined to go through with his plan, which, turns out, involves an artifact of great power, said to resurrect one of the legendary Dragons. N, what are getting yourself into?

Twist Mountain
Over the walkways we go, and we've reached Twist Mountain! The caverns are filled with Hikers in search of adventure, and Workers, who, aided by their Boldore, are excavating through the thick walls. With their help, both Ganymède and Chiron reach their final evolutionary stages, as a Samurott and Sawsbuck. And after many twists and turns -- this is Twist Mountain after all --, by nightfall we finally make it to the other side, in Icirrus City!

Icirrus City
Though summer, there still seems to be a faint chill in the air; the city is after all, at a higher altitude. Going out of the The Pokemon Center early in the morning, we're greeted with a spectacular view of the wetlands, large patches of water frozen in winter, now home to a bunch of water-loving Palpitoad. Out of the blue, we encounter Prof. Keteleeria Sr., ever in search of adventure -- they say he used to be a Backpacker in his youth! He is on his way to Dragonspiral Tower, the oldest building in Unova, cradle of legends and source of the dual Dragons' myth. I remember N and his plans; I wonder if he'll be there as well? I make a mental note to visit the Tower, but not before we challenge the Gym!

vs Zhu
Ganymède the Samurott is the first to face Zhu's team. His opponent is Vanillish, employing a defensive strategy, but whose Acid Armor proves to be inefficient against Ganymède's strong Surf attack. Zhu proves to be less intimidating than I expected, so I decide to counter Ice with Ice, by sending in Dioscures against Beartic. But Dioscures falls to Beartic's Swagger; he becomes enraged and, in his confusion, his Mirror Shots miss and he ends up hurting himself. A strong Slash from Beartic provides a sure KO. What to do now? I send in Chiron; while at a type-disadvantage as a Sawsbuck, I'm betting on his Speed to keep him alive. Sure enough, Chiron springs into the air right away and delivers a Jump Kick right into Beartic's freezing beard. Out of nowhere, he evades the incoming Icicle Crash and another strong Jump Kick takes Beartic out of the fight. Zhu sends in his last Pokemon, Cryogonal, who immediately launches an Aurora Beam. Though evidently affected, Chiron shakes the powdered snow out of the green foliage adorning his antlers, and gets physical with a final Jump Kick, which nearly shatters his opponent. With such an evident display of force, the Freeze Badge is ours!

I find Tcheren and Bianca just outside the Gym, both facing an existential dilemma or two. As we're talking about what to do next, Zhu bolts out of the Gym. It seems there's trouble at Dragonspiral Tower! N, what have you done? We all hurry north; by the time I reach the Tower, Zhu and Tcheren are nowhere to be seen; but there's Prof. Keteleeria Sr.! As he was looking around, he says, Team Plasma showed up, shattered the Tower's outer wall and have gone inside. Zhu and "the young lad" have gone after them. Even the Professor seems worried; Bianca offers to act as his bodyguard, while I go up to investigate.

Dragonspiral Tower
A pool of clear water and green marble flooring; the Tower must have been gorgeous back in the day. As I go up the stairs, there's a rumble and loud crashing sounds. Earthquake? I press forward, trying to find my way through the fallen columns. This is too dangerous, what's going on? Ouranie! It's Tcheren, up above on a suspended platform. With Zhu at his side, they're confronting a large group of Plasma grunts. It's a full on war! Zhu's Beartic is summoning an Icicle Crash atop a group of Plasma Liepard, Tcheren's own Liepard is cornering a pair of crazed Watchog. I'm making my way through the crowd, with Chiron alone acting as an entire stampede, pushing everyone aside with his strong, thorny antlers. As I get closer to the top floor, I can hear the rampage above. Am I too late? There's N, enraptured by the fearsome creature in front of him: shining red eyes, massive pitch black body, a flashing blue surge of electricity crackling in the mist. It's Zekrom, the legendary Dragon! N's plans are unfolding, he is becoming Zekrom's hero and he'll be taking on the Pokemon League. Will I be the one to stand between him and his ideal world, he asks. The only way to do so is to awaken Zekrom's counterpart, the white Dragon, and I am the only one destined for it, he says. More than anything, he seems to be looking forward to it, almost as if he is trying to find the truth that will put his ideals to the test. And while he is flying away atop his Dragon partner's back, and the mist is clearing away, and the others are quickly climbing up the stairs, I look up at the clear night sky, and wonder: when did it all get so complicated?

Eh, why not.

So I decided to replay through White to refresh my knowledge of the game's plot. I didn't want to do a Nuzlocke run, since I'm keeping that for Black. Instead, I figured why not do a Normal monotype run and use Pokemon that I like but have never trained before.

Already I've played past the first two gyms, which weren't that difficult to get through. Lillipup/Herdier are amazing Pokemon, and mine is becoming a great asset to the team.

Made it through Pinwheel Forest to chase down Plasma and get back the dragon skull without problem. Now I'm heading around, exploring all of Castelia City.

I beat Black 2 a while back, which means I can access challenge mode in White 2 now! So I am starting a new file on that setting.

At the moment, I just managed to defeat Hugh's Oshawott with my newly-picked starter, Brandon the Tepig.

Trainer name: Mosie (Trainer ID=21246)

Current Party:

Brandon the Tepig (Adamant male, Lv. 7)

I've started replaying White and just beat Elesa. My current team is:
Servine, Lv. 31
Scolipede, Lv.30
Tirtouga, Lv. 29
Solosis, Lv. 28

I've also got a Roggenrola and Tympole sitting in the Day Care collecting exp.

Astinus May 24th, 2016 7:10 PM

I went back to look at my old post, and my team has changed so much. It's kind of cute seeing how far they've come.

So in a month's time, I played through a big part of the game's storyline. I just got my eighth badge, and now we're on the way to Victory Road. A Normal mono run is actually pretty fun, because it's interesting seeing what TMs the Pokemon can use, and trying to figure out how to handle each situation.

So in Black version, I finally sashayed into Route 15 and fought some trainers and caught a wild Fearow, Kangaskhan, and Tyranitar in the grass. Next I visited the the Poke Transfer Lab and transferred over Pokemon from Platinum version. I flew to Opelucid City afterwards and dashed east towards Route 11 again and fought a few trainers. I Surfed down a waterfall and caught a wild Bisharp, then I found the Overheat TM when I climbed up another waterfall. Next I ran to Village Bridge and healed my darlings inside one of the homes and then I explored the bridge a little bit. I talked to several NPCs and caught a wild Carvanha and Sharpedo via fishing, then I got a Lum Berry at the outdoor cafe there and then I saved.

Having spent nearly 5 years traveling Unova in Pokemon Black, I, and all my pokemon, are officially packing up and moving to Kalos as of today. After that's done, I'll be replaying the game as a nuzzlocke.

My Final Team
Serpierior: Level 84
Reshiram: Level 100
Kyurem: Level 100
Tornadus: Level 64
Sawk: Level 90
Venosaur: Level 98

That's sad when you think about it. I guess that's why some people move their Pokémon over quicker, don't wanna be attached to it :( although since you've been playing from the start - don't restart if you have any of the promotional C Gear skins (those playing from the start are most likely to have them)! That's pretty much the only reason I'm not restarting mine. Good luck on your journey for both you and your team. Don't forget them over in Kalos. :)

Decided to start playing Black 2 today, and am doing a Nuzlocke run through it. It's not part of my official challenge, so updates will be posted here.

My starter choice was Tepig. Made it through Routes 19 and 20 without issue, catching a Purrloin and a Pidove. At Floccesy Ranch, a Lillipup joined the team. There, I trained the team up to level 12 to take on Cheren at the first Gym. And lost Marazzoli the Lillipup to Cheren's own Lillipup. Still got my badge though!

(I thought it would be a good idea to put all the contents in a SPOILER as the post was getting too large)

So, after a long break from Unova , i have finally decided to play Blaze Black 2.
Why Blaze Black 2?
Black 2, in my experience is too easy. Blaze Black 2 makes it a lot more challenging. Being able to evolve and catch all of the Pokemon is another thing i love about it.

Spoiler:
As always, named myself and my rival & continued. After getting the Mystery Keys from a guy, i switched the difficulty to Hard mode, since i want some real challenge (no, i won't be doing a Nuzlocke challenge).
The last time iirc, my starter was Tepig, so this time I decided to go with (Modest) Oshawott. Defeated Hugh with just 1HP left, he kept on using Leer when Oshawott was at 1Hp :D Obtained the Town Map, the Bicycle & 30x Pokeballs (from Bianca). Caught a Wurmple, Starly, Bidoof. I wanted to add Starly to the team but it was Relaxed nature. So i searched for another Starly and guess what? I got another RELAXED nature Starly. Then I caught a (Timid) Caterpie. Since Butterfree's stat has been boosted in this game, i decided to go with the Butterfly Pokemon. Trained it a little and it evolved into Metapod and then into Butterfree at Lv10. Got the Exp. Share from Hugh and gave it to Oshawott, as it was just at Level 8. Found the Lilipup. Returned to Aspertia city after doing all the events. Took on Cheren and won easily. Remember that Dewott is a Fighting-type in this game.
Reached Virbank city. Searched a lot for (Modest) Magnemite, but no luck. After searching for about half-an hour, i choosed a (Docile) Magnemite. Teached Dewott Low Sweep using TM47 i found at Virbank Complex. Saved there.

The Team:
Spoiler:

Dewott - Lv19 - Modest
- Razor Shell
- Low Sweep
- Water Gun
- Focus Energy
Butterfree - Lv17 - Timid
- Struggle Bug
- Air Cutter
- Confusion
- Sleep Powder
Magnemite - Lv11 - Docile
Item: Exp. Share
- Tackle
- Supersonic
- SonicBoom
- Thundershock

16 Sep, 2016

Spoiler:

I took on the 3 workers in Virbank Complex and got TM94 Rock Smash from their leader. In the Rustling grass, i caught a Porygon, but i am not going to use it. Grinded a little to challenge Roxie. After grinding, i head towards the Gym & challenged Roxie. His Bug/Poison types were so easy to defeat. But, Holy Shit, he had 6 Pokemons, and his Whirlipede was too much for my team. Hopefully, Dewott was able to defeat it after Lowering it's defense with Razor Shell. Obtained the Toxic Badge & TM09 Venushock. After that, i went to the most borrrrriing part of the game, The Film Star Studios. After that, defeated the Grunts and Obtained HM01 from Roxie. Took the Ship & reached Castelia City.
As soon as I reached Castelia, i took the Ship to go to Liberty Garden. I caught the Victory Pokemon, Victini there. Now healed my Pokemon & saved right rhere in the Pokemon center at Castelia city.

17 Sep, 2016

Spoiler:

Well today i was not feeling well, so i kept on playing Blaze Black continuosly for about 4-5hours. I've got all the 6 Pokemon i want in the team & most of them have evolved. And since i've progressed too much today, i won't be able to write everything that i did.
Castelia City
I loaded my save file, which was in the Pokemon center of Castelia City. The first place I went to was The Gym to challenge Burgh. But wait..... He is not in the Gym, said the Guy who take cares of the Gym and Iris has to show up. She went & i followed her up. In Castelia Sewers, i teamed up with Hugh & defeated two Team Plasma Grunts. Obtained the HM04 Strength from Hugh. He went from the Sewers & i went to explore the Sewer. Found some items i can't remeber of. Caught an Eevee & other Pokemons in the Upper Part of Sewers. Escaped from that damn place & Healed my Pokemons. Now I thought of exploring the City. I visited every Building to make sure i don't miss any crucial item. In a building, a guy was ready to give me one of the 4starters, depending on the season. So, i immediately changed the Date to June 17, so it's summer. Obtained a Bulbasaur. Let him hold the Exp. Share, so it will evolve soon. Went to Castelia Sewer again as i wanted to catch Larvitar from Relic Castle. Caught 2 Larvitar, Boldore, Diglett & other ground types i could find. My Bulbasaur had already evolved into Ivysaur in the Castle. Picked up the TM24 Smack Down. Went to the Pokemon center & opened the PC to see if i found the Nature i wanted to have with Larvitar or not. Argh! A Hasty & a Naughty Nature. I wanted a Adamant, Jolly, Impish or Careful nature. But no problem, i went with Hasty one, since Tyranitar will have Dragon Dance & it gets benefit from a +Speed Nature. Next up, i found that another guy was giving one more starter based on the Season. This time i thought to go with Turtwig by relacing Ivysaur as Poison type have no use in this game. Got a Careful Turtwig & removed Ivysaur. Sorry Ivysaur, but you gotta go :( Gave the Exp. Share to Turtwig & grinded for some time inorder to take on Burgh. My Turtwig evolved while battling with the trainer's of the gym. Went to the gym and challenged him. You know what? I am in love with my little Butterfree. She is awesomely strong. She defeated 5 Pokemons of Burgh. He started out with Accelgor while I sent out Butterfree. Foolish Burgh let it use Rain Dance & Butterfree OHKOed it with a Critical Air Cutter. He then sent out Masquerain. Butterfree used Sleep Powder. Yay, Compound eyes won't let it miss. Air cutter once again Crit. & OHKOed it. He then sent out Scyther. I knew it's faster than Butterfree so i switched to Larvitar. Scyther used Swords Dance and I countered with Rock Slide and it's a OH..... Wait, what the? What happened. It didn't killed it in one shot. Oh yeah, i got it. It's holding Eviolite. Burgh used a Hyper Potion while i continued with Rock Slide. Oh god! It still survived that with about 20% HP and then OHKO'ed Larvitar with X-Scissor. I sent out Victini & used Quick Attack. It still survived that & Did like 95% damage to Victini. Another Quick Attack knocked it out. My goodness. He sent out Leavenny while I switched back to Butterfree. Leavenny hang on the Crit. Air cutter with a Focus sash but not for much. His Last Pokemon, Vespiquen was too countered by Butteefree's Sleep Powder + Crit. Air Cutter. What? are you surprised? So many crit. hits? How could that be? Okay, i'll tell you... It was holding a Scope Lens. Alright Burgh, give me your badge and your TM. Now lets heal the Pokemon and head to Route 4. Colress wants to battle me & i accepted it like it's nothing. Easily defeated his Magnemite, Klink, and Metang. But that Speed Boost Rotom-F was a pain. Dark Pulse flinch was a non-sense as in the previous turn, neither Paralyses nor Flinch happened to that thing even though it was paralyzed. But I was able to defeat him somehow. His Porygon was just too much. Damn, Eviolite+Recover just killed me off. I challenged him again & was able to defeat him this time. He ran off. I explored the Desert Resort and then Reached Nimbasa City.

Nimbasa City
Battled with the Battle Subway Bosses with Rosa. Defeated them easily. *Grinding Grinding Grinding* *Larvitar evolved* *Grotle Evolved* I guess i am ready to take on Elesa. It OHKO'ed my Dewot -.- Sent Pupitar that just evolved & used Rock Slide. Her Emolga used Light screen. Another Rock Slide did the Job. Defeated her Zebstrika, Electabuzz easily. Her Ampharos was too much for my team, specially with the Hax it was doing with me. It kept on using Confuse ray on my Torterra and I couldn't do anything except of watching it in pain. What's more? It used Focus Blast 5 times and it HIT ALL THE 5 TIMES. 2 of which were critical's. But I kept on using Super Potion and the Leftovers+Leech Seed helped a lot to recover. Galvantula was easily defeated by Torterra & Victini. Got the Bolt Badge & TM Volt Switch. Now omw to:

Driftviel City
As soon as I reached the city, a Team Plasma Grunt was trying to manipulate a Ex-Team Plasma member. Hugh showed up & ran off the Team Plasma Grunt.
The Ex-Team Plasma Grunt told me something blah blah blah. And asked to come to the Upper Part near the Gym. I Healed my Pokemons and purchased some Red, Blue, Green, Yellow Shards as well as some Heartscale. I went to the Move relearner and Teached my:
Victini - Thunderpunch
Butterfree - Signal Beam
then I obtained the Expert Belt and gave it to Victini. I thought it would be better if I train my Pokemons. Clay isn't going to be a easy one. So I kept on Battling with the Breeder in Route 6 until all my Pokemons were at least Level 35. Then I went to the Gym and Challenged Clay. He started with Hippowdon. I defeated it with Samurott. Next up was Seismitoad, which was a easy shot for Butterfree. Then he sent Nidoking. Well this thing was overpowered. It could OHKO any of my Pokemons with BoltBeam EarthWave combo. I sent Magneton against it and used Mirror Shot, hoping for a Accuracy Drop until it breaks Magneton's sturdy. Yep! It's Accuracy was lowered. It's Attack missed while i continued to hit with Mirror Shot. Next turn, Thunderbolt hits, Magneton fainted. Then I sent Butterfree, and Nidoking again OHKOED it with Tbolt. My sweetie -_- Then i sent Samurott and used Aqua Jet. It survived that and used Thunderbolt again. Hurray, it missed and I used another Aqua Jet and finally killed that thing. Next up was Krookodile, which was easily defeated by Torterra. Then he sent his last Pokemon, Excadrill. I sent Samurott and used Aqua Jet, just to pop-up it's Air Balloon. He One-shoted me with Earthquake. Then I sent my Full HP Torterra. I was surprised that he had X-Scissor which, did UpTo 90% damage. But my Earthquake OHKO Excadrill, making me the winner of that battle. Finally got the Earth Badge and TM26 Earthquake. He invited me to PWT. I went there, Teached my:
Victini: Fusion Bolt, V-create
Samurott: Water Pledge, Megahorn
After that I did the PWT event. After that, Hugh ran after a Plasma Grunt which was followed by Cheren and me. There we entered the Ship & fought some Team Plasma Grunts. Then Came the Shadow Triad and kicked us out of the Ship. Holy shit. I was ready to kick some more Plasma Grunts. Why did you do that Shadow Triad? Whatever. I continued to Route 6 battling with the Trainers. Entered the Chargestone cave. Nothing special was here. I will just skip this part.
Mistralton City
As soon as I reached here, I entered the PokéCenter to heal my Team. I meet Prof. Junifer here. She handed me the Ultimate Ball of all, the Master Ball ^_^ Then i meet with The Gym Leader of this city, Skyla. Went to challenge her, and she SWEPT me with just three Pokemons as it was a Triples Battle. Trained a little and then Challenged again. Holy shit, she beat me again. No that's not going to happen again. I grinded grinded and grinded. My Pupitar Evolved <3 Challenged her again. and guess what? She defeated ME AGAIN. Wtf? I forgot to teach my Tyranitar Ice Punch and Gliscor just defeated me. Teached Tyranitar Ice Punch & challenged her again. This time I beat her easily. Thank you Tyranitar. I just played through Black, and have been playing through Black 2. I've played White and White 2 once each (at launch), but I'd never played Black or Black 2.

Spoiler:
12/13/2016

I beat Burgh and have been going through Route 4. Last night, I was going to add a Zubat to my team in Castelia Sewers, but then I remembered that Eevee is available in Castelia Garden, and I don't generally like to get catch two Pokemon for my team really close together.

I'd recently used an Umbreon in Moon, so I ended up getting an Espeon. I ran around Castelia last night to get it's happiness up, then I went to sleep, and raised it one level to evolve it into an Espeon.

I started with Tepig, so Burgh's gym was really easy.

Boarbeque (Pignite) - level 23
Quackers (Psyduck) - level 21
Fe3O4 (Magnemite) - level 22
Two Forks (Espeon) - level 21

Fe3O4 is the chemical formula for magnetite. Also, the font in Gen V doesn't easily distinguish between an "O" and a "0". Combined with the lack of subscripts, which unfortunately leaves Magnemite's nickname looking like Fe304. Oh well.

Spoiler:

After getting to Nimbasa City, I decided to add a Roselia to my party before taking on Elesa. I actually had a lot of trouble with Elesa, mainly because she is the luckiest person in the world. Every time I would try to set up at the beginning of the fight, then she'd get a Critical Hit and the battle would go South from there. It took about five tries to manage to not get taken out by a well-timed critical hit.

After going to Driftveil City, and then immediately to the route afterwards, I found a Shiny Stone. After verifying that my Roselia didn't learn any more moves by level up I had any interest in, I evolved it, giving me my second fully evolved Pokemon. When I noticed that I had access to Chargestone Cave, I decided to go ahead and fully evolve my Magmemite. I only had to level up once to get a Magneton; one more time got me a Magnezone. Psyduck was also really close to evolving, so I decided to take the time to evolve it as well, leaving Pignite as the only member of my team not fully evolved.

Boarbeque (Pignite) - level 30
Quackers (Psyduck) - level 33
Fe3O4 (Magnemite) - level 31
Two Forks (Espeon) - level 30
Thorn (Roserade) - level 30

I don't plan on getting a sixth team member, so my team should be complete (save moves) in a few levels when Pignite evolves.
