I support United, really happy with the signings we've made and the first few results of the season. The transfer market is turning ridiculous though, Bolasie for £30 million? Pogba for £89 million? Higuain for £75 million, the list goes on...

Should be interesting to face Hull this weekend, considering they hardly have a squad they've done pretty well so far.

If Ibrahimovic stays injury free and United spam crosses all season they'll probably win the league tbh.

Eruption August 26th, 2016 3:43 PM

It should be a good battle between the Manchester clubs for the title this year.

Wenger has finally bowed to the pressure and panic bought some players. Lucas Perez seems like the kind of player who will flop hard, a bit like how I expect Janssen for Tottenham to do likewise.

KorpiklaaniVodka August 27th, 2016 5:11 AM

West Ham - Astra 0-1.

Oops, we did it again.

Lipstick Vogue August 30th, 2016 9:03 AM

Not going to lie, I'm a little bit jealous of all of these Chinese millions going into Villa right now.

On the bright side Oliveira is okay and we're a day or so away from keeping hold of Klose and Brady.

Lipstick Vogue September 1st, 2016 12:41 PM

We missed out on everyone!

But it now looks as if we could be getting Marouane Chamakh on a Bosman. Don't know where he is as a player nowadays but I'm happy we'll be able to bring back 'Moroccan all over the world'. For our Boro fan, another line in that chant was 'Youssef's better than Juninho'. Showing it's age a bit there.

Grinny55 September 8th, 2016 4:00 AM

Manchester City is my fav fc. I'm going to make some bets on the next match through online sportsbooks. I read a lot of interesting info about best bookmakers and also I always check sports review by independent experts to make the right bets. Hope I'll win some cash.

Lipstick Vogue September 10th, 2016 9:18 AM

Well we made that more exciting than it aught to have been 2 - 0 at 85 mins and 3 - 2 at full time. Josh and Jacob Mupphy really making a mark this season.

Eruption September 10th, 2016 5:45 PM

Nice to see you thought of one of our little club's players for that chant back in the day. That was around the ol' Darren Huckerby era. I feel old.

Good to hear that the Murphys are realising their potential as well.

Disappointing performance and result this weekend, but it happens doesn't it. Tough run of games coming up.

OKARINxMAYUSHII September 11th, 2016 5:03 AM

The UCL is starting again this Tuesday, I'm super excited. What matches are you looking forward to? I hope PSV will be able to take revenge for last against Atleti. Unfortunately, it won't be possible to watch that and PSG - Arsenal at the same time...

Lipstick Vogue September 11th, 2016 5:23 AM

I still vividly remember Huckerby joining but that doesn't really make me feel old. Seeing the young striker we brought in along side him on the other hand.

Eruption September 12th, 2016 12:11 PM

Interesting how they went for the same poorly styled hair, maybe it was a 2004 thing.

It'll be good to have the UCL back, I suppose Leicester will be the main team of interest for me.

Banz September 17th, 2016 7:40 AM

Quite a goalfest this matchday.

Fritz September 18th, 2016 12:18 PM

I was at St James Park yesterday to watch Newcastle vs Wolves (I'm a Wolves fan). I thought we would've been lucky to come away with anything away to the team that are the favourites for promotion this season, but we went and won 2-0! They won 6-0 away to QPR in midweek, at the same time we lost 4-0 at home to Barnsley, so that made the result even stranger. We play them again on Tuesday in a cup match, and I'll be going there again. Hopefully another 2-0 win.

Lipstick Vogue September 18th, 2016 12:39 PM

A cliche but that really is the Championship for you.

Newcastle is a decent away day if you enjoy climbing stairs.

We won away at Forest, probably our first genuinely 'good' performance since the opening day. Lots of players getting back to fitness too, things are looking decent.

Eruption September 18th, 2016 2:07 PM

It definitely is typical of the Championship, I'm reminded of Bristol City doing the double over us last season.

Terrible weekend for us and the first signs that we're in for a long season.

Lipstick Vogue September 19th, 2016 8:39 AM

We'll be getting smashed by Everton B tomorrow. Obviously won't mind is it'll allow us to focus on the most important thing, the Checkatrade Trophy.

Xherdan September 20th, 2016 7:56 PM

Here's me thinking Arsenal were going to be a total letdown and be dominated by a small team with a great striker. I saw Perez being announced and asked myself "What is Wenger up to?" He was up to a damn good idea, this kid is brilliant.

Borussia Dortmund has made another victim. They can't stop. And i can see an easy 4 or 5-0 against Freiburg next game.

I'm not sure of what next jersey i should get. I'll probably pick Arsenal, but i'll consider other choices, since my newfound respect for Manchester City.

Lipstick Vogue September 21st, 2016 2:58 AM

So we didn't get smashed by Everton's B team. They couldn't find a final ball and we had the Murphy that's been on the bench most of the season. https://twitter.com/sportlobster/status/778527359653871616

Fritz September 21st, 2016 7:58 AM

This time we were the ones who lost 2-0. Not too bad of a defeat considering we were playing our B team and they had plenty of 1st team players. Now we can focus on the league.

Lipstick Vogue September 22nd, 2016 8:35 AM

Must be pretty exciting times at Wolves right now.

We have Jez Moxey. Not really exciting times at Norwich.

Fritz September 22nd, 2016 11:56 AM

Probably the worst mistake Norwich have made in a long time, appointing Moxey, we suffered 16 years of having him in charge of our club. I'm glad he's finally gone.

Lipstick Vogue September 23rd, 2016 1:50 PM

For better or for worse I don't think much will change, our owners are dead set on running the club in a certain way. From the outside there appears to be a fair bit of overlap between how we're being run and how Wolves were pre takeover. Living within means, lots of focus on facilities and attempting to utilise youth development in order to make up for the financial gap with other teams. Whilst he doesn't seem a particularly likeable character it does make sense.

Fritz September 24th, 2016 8:16 AM

We won 3-1 at home to Brentford today, all 3 goals came from new signings. Puts us 8th in the table, decent start to the season.

Don't know what the hell is happening to Derby at the moment, they should be in the top half at least with the squad they have, but now they're in the bottom 3.
