Such a dull transfer window, and an uneventful deadline day. Every deal seems off.

Chelsea has done some decent business but still seem oblivious to the fact that their problem is the forwards. Fulham's signing of Mitroglou has to be of the best deals in my opinion.

Eruption January 31st, 2014 12:31 PM

I can see Mitroglou being like Ba at West Ham or Remy at QPR, he'll probably play well as Fulham go down then move to another PL club (In Ba and Remy's case it was Newcastle so maybe them again).

The persistent rumour that reappears every transfer window of Swansea taking Emnes off us appears to finally be happening. We're supposedly getting Danny Graham in on loan which is a good deal for us in my opinion.

Ruddy
Martin/Bennett/Bassong/Olsson
Snodgrass/Johnson/Tettey/Gutierrez
Elmander
Hooper

Norwich have officially put out the least creative team in Premier League history. This match should be terrible.

Banz February 1st, 2014 6:41 AM

Newcastle Utd 0 - 3 Sunderland
Another derby win. Sunderland are now 12th, but there's just a 2 point gap between Swansea (11th) and Stoke (18th). West Ham are out of the bottom 3 for now.

And yet they're winning. :P

Hopefully no horses will be harmed on the journey home from the Newcastle fans.

Danny Graham and Lee Tomlin were our deadline day acquisitions, very positive moves in my opinion.

Oh boy, Manchester United loses again. Moyes really has to go.

I was about to post that at half time. :p But I waited till the match was over.

No way. He needs to stay for a few more seasons.

You're a 'pool fan I can tell. lol (or City). I should've just watched Bundesliga instead but Bayern didn't play today.

First 20 mins Cardiff were so awful Norwich actually looked good, they sort themselves out by bringing on Zaha in the 36th minute. Norwich go behind after a crazy 70 seconds but fail to change anything until the 75th minute. After the changes were made Norwich were all over them but heroic keeping and defending from two ex-Norwich players got them their win. Obviously used all their luck up getting the undeserved midweek draw with Newcastle.

Next up Man City. lol.

In other news, FC Barcelona loses at home in the league for the first time since April 2012.

Banz February 2nd, 2014 7:05 AM

What was Toure trying to do there?

In other news, a team not called FC Barcelona leads the league alone for the first time in 60 weeks.

I cried twice during today's match. Every time we scored, people didn't scream gol, instead they started chanting "¡Luis Aragonés, Luis Aragonés, Luis Aragonés, Luis Aragonéees!". It was beautiful.

And then Ronaldo picked up a straight red a couple hours later and the weekend ented the most perfect way possible.

We CAN win this.

City lose 0-1 at home against chelsea, first time they lost at home in the league since Norwich last day of last season.

Banz February 3rd, 2014 6:13 PM

I never expected that result. The title race might go to the last day.

Can't wait to take 3 points from Citeh on Saturday.

You have my wishes to win it anyway, anything is better than Barcelona winning to me. That's a very nice tribute to Luis Aragonés too by the sounds of it.

Wow as I post, I read Laudrup sacked. What a shocker from Swansea. This might mean they'll send Emnes back. :'(

Weeaboo Name February 4th, 2014 12:43 PM

So the team with 24 points from 24 games this season sack their manager.

Although da swanz will stay up. They are still in the FA Cup and Yurop. Oh and they play a brand of football in which scoring goals is the aim.

Bit of a gamble.

Aeroblast February 4th, 2014 5:40 PM

Swansea are 12th but only two points off of relegation zone. Relegation battle in PL this season will be one heck of a drama.

Banz February 5th, 2014 5:49 AM

Yeah. Everyone in the bottom half of the league has a real chance of being relegated. Except Sunderland. Sunderland will survive quite comfortably.

I'd put my money on Fulham, Cardiff and Crystal Palace.

Weeaboo Name February 8th, 2014 4:36 AM

Just put some money on Norwich beating Manchester City. A sound investment.

Aeroblast February 8th, 2014 9:04 AM

Norwich 0-0 Man City, Norwich even nearly scored at the end as well.

Weeaboo Name February 8th, 2014 9:45 AM

Good containing performance, pretty much reverted back to the tactics we used last year. Played exactly like you should against Man City, I'll give Hughton credit for that.

If Norwich can back it up with a win at West Ham that will really be a great week, if not it'll still be really grim.

Banz February 8th, 2014 11:31 AM

Went to watch the Liverpool vs Arsenal match screening at Zouk. Actually got into a bit of trouble reaching there, but it is probably the best 350 Rs I've ever spent.

Weeaboo Name February 9th, 2014 2:35 PM

lol

Banz February 10th, 2014 8:36 AM

Man City take on Sunderland at home. I have a feeling this will end up 0-1.
