Summer Paradise '13
Daily Chit-Chat

Blazing sun? Check.

Hot Australian surfer? Check

Spoiler:

Summer Paradise by Simple Plan on repeat? Check

And last on the list... new Daily Chit-Chat that shall be the best one ever? Check check and check!

Welcome to summer paradise, ladies and gentleman, also known as the summer 2013 DCC! Here, we frolic and talk about whatever comes to our minds, but mostly about how cute that surfer dude looks, or about how I've never gone surfing in my life. What? It's not summer where you live? Well then, scroll back up and take another look at the surfer. Eh? EHH? ;D

Haha, all jokes aside, give the new DCC a warm welcome. Make this DCC the best one PC has ever had. Just be sure to follow the rules in the process. A friendly reminder as to what those rules are:
  • Stick with the current topic! If you don't like the current topic, or don't know anything about it, and wish to talk about something else, you have a multitude of options, none of which are "blatantly post something off topic". You can either wait one hour after the last post has been made***, and bring forward a new topic. If time is something you don't like to wait for, post something related to the current topic and slyly put what you want to talk about there. Or simply try your best with the topic at hand. Anything other than that will be considered off topic.
  • Try to keep up! So you want to talk about the current topic but don't know what it's about. Instead of asking what the current topic is, read a few posts and find out for yourself. It's not that difficult, and would only take a minute or two.
  • Converse. Don't just make a post saying "Hi DCC, what's up?!" and leave it at that. Posts of that nature will be considered off topic.
  • The dreaded 25 characters/4 words rule. Like it or not, this one must be followed.
  • No trolling/flaming/hating. This thread is meant to be a light hearted one, but if Andy or I notice things are going out of hand, we wont hesitate to butt in. Light hearted as it may be, it still follows PC's rules.
  • Have fun. Must I really explain this one?

And that's that! SO START POSTING AND HAVING FUN, YOU CRAZY PEOPLE. I'mma go catch some waves. Meaning I'm gonna go comb my hair. Cause it's wavy? No? Okay.

EDIT: We've removed the one hour rule!

Shiny Celebi June 20th, 2013 8:33 PM

Right now? Not much x) Ive been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Cute game, though havent done much yet in the game.

Honest June 20th, 2013 8:34 PM

Going to a picnic! At Central Park, none-the-less. It's a school thing, so I can't wait to have some fun. I should probably get some sleep, though. Surviving on 8 hours for the last 3 days. D;

Guys, let's make this the best DCC ever, kk? =D

Treecko June 20th, 2013 8:38 PM

Woo new DCC! And I got on the first page! Also Dipu's made his first DCC haha.

But anyway I'm rather bored right now.I should be sleeping too cause I'm just really tired lol.

Shiny Celebi June 20th, 2013 8:39 PM

Sounds, fun,Bloodex, wishI could do something like that, I'll just be doing my regular volunteering but maybe I'll finally go swimming tomorrow.

Kanzler June 20th, 2013 8:40 PM

I'm going to a concert with this girl and several other friends of mine. I went out with her for her birthday :P I had no idea it was summer solstice though, I thought that happened in the middle of summer XD.

Now that you say it, I wonder if we're gonna go for drinks after :P

Astinus June 20th, 2013 8:41 PM

Haha, I've been wanting to find out how great the DCC is for myself, and this is a great opportunity!

I nearly forgot that it's the first day of summer. The weather's going to be really nice where I am, so I'm going to spend the day outside bike riding, walking the dog, playing basketball, and just having fun. I might do some shopping too.

Aw, the night's just beginning for me! Even though it's midnight, I stay up really late and sleep during the day. That's the way it's always been.

And we'll try to make this best DCC ever. I'm already finding it fun!

Honest June 20th, 2013 8:42 PM

TF, what the hell is that...?

And what concert exactly... Jake, was it? D;

Edit: ohai Astinus. :3

Treecko June 20th, 2013 8:45 PM

Summer DCC is always best DCC, that's how it is.

Though I have no plans for this summer. I'll be coped up in my house again. :( Though I did join the summer reading club at the library yesterday so I'll be doing lots of reading. Mainly so I can win the laptop and baseball tickets.

ANARCHit3cht June 20th, 2013 8:46 PM

It has been hot as hell these past few weeks, but now that Summer has officially begun, we are getting chances of "rare" summer rains. And just the other day, there was this massive thunderstorm! It's not anywhere close to summer, I tell you!

As for all you party people, good luck and have fun! My birthday is in 4 days, but it sounds like you all will be having a lot more fun!

Captain Gizmo June 20th, 2013 8:46 PM

Summer Paradise Chit-Chat!

new DCC, yay! Summer time means hanging outside at night and enjoying the summer breeze and staying up late watching movies! How about you guys? :-)

Honest June 20th, 2013 8:49 PM

Summer breezes feel amazing, don't they? Probably one of the best things about the summer time. =D

Well. That, and the beaches. ;D

Kanzler June 20th, 2013 8:50 PM

Hey, pretty close! It's John.

I love the beaches but I don't have anybody to go with :(

Shiny Celebi June 20th, 2013 8:55 PM

I wish I could go to the beach :l I really dont get to go often.

Treecko June 20th, 2013 9:09 PM

I've never been to a real beach cause we don't have any really near here.Only rivers and lakes. :/

Her June 20th, 2013 9:14 PM

i'm only posting here to get on the first page

AND I LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO A BEACH!!! I CAN SEE IT RIGHT NOW!!!! My town is named Beachlands because we're surrounded by beaches, lol.

Kanzler June 20th, 2013 9:20 PM

A short interruption:

Okay, my first step in wild grass after activating the legendary dogs and...

RAIKOUUUU

okay you may continue.

I live close to these:

http://www.boldts.net/photos/Bluffers1.jpeg

Pretty eh?

Belldandy June 20th, 2013 9:22 PM

I live in a cottage country on Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. I go to the beach everyday because it's about a 3min walk away + great way to burn calories while having fun lol

ANARCHit3cht June 20th, 2013 9:32 PM

You people next to beaches are all are some lucky people, then. I live in California and I don't even live next to a beach. Not a good one anyway... My favorite beach actually was in Oregon. I went camping at this place a few summer agos, and we rode our bikes along the beach to the this town that was practically ALL candy/icecream shops or some kind tourist trap store that sells you all these cool little things that you don't really need...

I live next to a lake, that is so clear they felt they needed to call it "Clearlake" If you google it, you get pictures like this.

But really, it looks like this:

So clearly, I am NEVER getting in that.

Kanzler June 20th, 2013 9:36 PM

That's what he said =D

When I was in cadets and we were in camp, there was a lake that everybody called "Goose**** Lake". But we swam in it anyways, disregarding the goose****. There's actually such a lake two kilometres north from where I live. I think it's a great date site :P

ZOMG ENTEI!!!

By the Lady's bladed teats, you live in Cali? So do I!

My summer here in Monterey has been cold. Monterey's usually cold thanks to the coastal weather. No joke, it almost never gets above 80 F around here.

BlueEon June 20th, 2013 11:11 PM

I... Umm... Don't have much planned. This is pretty much what I'd do in the summer:
Go to some restaurants, play video games, go on a sleepover, internet, movies.

Yeah like I said, I don't have much planned. :/

Captain Gizmo June 20th, 2013 11:30 PM

Summer Paradise Chit-Chat!

I don't really plan my summer. Actually, I never plan any of my days :-P
I just go with the flow and depends what my friends or my girlfriend wants to do :-)

Purple Materia June 21st, 2013 2:14 AM

I got my schedule for Fall planned out and it is AMAZING. 8D

Pascal programming, Pre-calculus, English, and Japanese. :3

I'd only have classes on three days, and on the third day I get to leave at noon! :D

Tsutarja June 21st, 2013 2:56 AM

I still need to register my classes for this fall :3c I just hope that I can have an early enough schedule where my classes aren't too late though Dx

Purple Materia June 21st, 2013 2:58 AM

Have you planned the schedule out yet, at least?

That's what I do every semester as soon as the schedules are released. Just so I can plan it out and make changes if something becomes full.

Tsutarja June 21st, 2013 3:13 AM

Nope, not just yet D: but I really need to because as you say, time is running out.. all I have now is an academic advising guide for the area I choose to study in, and that has a list of classes I need to take and how many credit hours those classes are

Also, before I even register, I need to check up on any financial aid for my school so I dont make the mistake of having to pay everything out of my pocket. -_-

Kura June 21st, 2013 4:10 AM

Yeah checking out about financial aid is really important @[email protected] There are a lot of people who don't read the "rules" entirely and they don't end up getting the support! It is bad!

Also going back to "summer" part of the new SUMMER DCC.. it is Summer for about 3 days a month in England ;_; *looks outside to the bleak dreariness..*

I'm taking the summer to work on a new cosplay though!

Honest June 21st, 2013 5:25 AM

Dude, I just OUT of school. Kinda don't want to even think about going back. D;

And I live next to Coney Island Beach. Aka Trash Beach.

Sableye~ June 21st, 2013 7:21 AM

I generally don't plan stuff like that. I intend to SR for a shiny Rayquaza...does that count? My only accomplishments yet this summer are catching a Kyogre with decent IVs and a shiny Chikorita...
The only thing I know of is that a friend I haven't seen since last year invited some people (including me) to their family's beach house in another state. I was there before, and apparently they were drudging waaay out in the ocean, and it was causing stuff to wash up. Like small starfish.

I remember Coney Island from playing this bad-ass game called The Warriors which was based off the movie of the same name. It seemed pretty legit then, but then again it was a video game and supposed to be like the 1970s.... I'm wondering though, why do you call it that??

As for summer plans... Where I live, it is extremely, extremely boring. What little there is to do, has been the same thing to do all my life, so as you can imagine, it has gotten quite boring. I think this summer I really should get a job, but for some reason I just haven't been into it. I'll probably get around to soon, though, because I REALLY need some cash. It's hard though, to find a job, because I'm not 18 and can't be as available as adults, which is the one redeeming quality around here I guess. Other than that... despite what I want, I'm just going to hanging out with friends all summer... every day... doing the same boring thing, in the same boring place.... ohdearsomeonesaveme._.

Oh, and @Slenderman: When I went to Science Camp way back in the 6th grade, we went out to the Tidepools and saw some amazing things. Sea Urchins, Starfish, there was even a Squid/Octopus thing, I don't really remember... but it was cool!

Paladin June 21st, 2013 10:00 AM

Wow, I haven't been online in a while. (aside from trying to be. . .)
New thread eh?

My summer plans? Nil.
I'm not really in school anymore, so I guess that killed part of the allure of it. Besides, autumn is my favorite. :I

That is me too! I love the fall *_*!
THOUGH what's nice about summer is that it's not freaking DARK when leaving work like it is i winter. I like having daylight until 9 *_*!!! <3

Gabri June 21st, 2013 11:00 AM

Oh look, yet another dcc.
My summer plans? One week in the Algarve somewhere in August. Will be good to let loose all the stress from so many exams and Uni work.

Nathan June 21st, 2013 11:17 AM

My summer plans are work out and learn some coding languages if I'm not too lazy. My objectives are : sleep, eat, play, drink and be a lazy ass :)
Also exams just finished today so summer begins!

Sableye~ June 21st, 2013 11:31 AM

Every season has upsides and downsides. Wouldn't it be obnoxious for it to always be hot or always be cold? I don't particularly like heat, but without it, cold weather wouldn't be enjoyable.

I suspect the less-than-two-weeks of summer that remain will be wasted just kind of existing.

Kanzler June 21st, 2013 11:38 AM

Don't you just hate it when that happens? I've been trying to start up pokemon again, except I've played each generation to death that I get bored easily.

@JNathan Working out is a good idea. I feel really stiff this morning, and I don't know why but I'm more inflexible than usual.

ANARCHit3cht June 21st, 2013 11:55 AM

Do you actually work out? If you do, do you perform dynamic or static stretches? If it is the latter, then you should stop immediately... It is bad to do static stretches, or stretches without movement. To warm up/cool down, you should get into something dynamic like jumping jacks or leg lifts. Static stretches actually make performance worse... and if you think about it, it kind of makes sense. If you have a rubber band that you are shooting paper wasps with, it is going to loser power when it gets stretched out. So your muscles are like that, I'd imagine.

Working out is amazing though, I can't deny the benefits of it. I don't really work out, but when I do, I like to do it in the early morning when I wake up. All I need is a banana and a little bit of a protein shake or something and I'm good to do my morning routine. Of course, I follow it up with a good breakfast afterwards. But that is a lot of work, haha, so I don't do it very often as you might imagine, because I'm lazy.

I heard the opposite. When you get out of bed you should slowly stretch the muscles first, and then gradually do static stretches with resistance (plank, horse stance/ squats, etc.)
At least that's what my podiatrist told me. It's good to stretch but not overstretch. Holding a stretch for 20-30 seconds is good, but don't "bounce" on it to try and stretch further.

I go to the gym twice a week on average (mostly I will go 2 times but sometimes I go 3 or only 1) but I'm thinking I might bump that up to 3 times a week mostly.

But it doesn’t end there. Power is a measure of a muscle’s ability to produce for during contractions, and muscle power generally falls by about 2% after static stretching. Explosive muscular power – like bursting into a full sprint – was reduced by 2.8%.
While reducing output by a few percentage points doesn’t sound like a big deal, every pound or nanosecond counts – especially in the world of competitive sports. When races are won by hundredths of a second, reducing power by 2% is a game changer.

That is the article that I read on it. But from what I understand, doing a stretch with resistance would be dynamic. I don't know about planking or horse stretches, but squatting would be dynamic as it encourages the movement of the muscles that you use to actually squat. But doing something like say... a flamingo, is bad, because you are just holding the muscle in that outstretched position. And while might provide a greater range of flexibility, it also comes with a power loss that ensures you won't have the proper strength to fully accommodate for it. It's like saying that high octane gasoline is better for your car, in most cases it is, but if you care is say... a Diesel that doesn't run on such a high-compression engine, then having the "better" fuel won't do you any good, it'll probably actually cause harm. While it is better, you just don't have the right type of engine to process it.

Shiny Celebi June 21st, 2013 1:06 PM

Ive been extremely lazy with exercise lately. I dont really work out and have little motivation to exercise, Ive been meaning to swim, but every day it just dosent happen :l

Kura June 21st, 2013 1:22 PM

ANARCHit3cht, that's really interesting to note. I guess that's the main difference between yoga and pilates. I always thought that it is good to do still-stretches of muscles that are too tight, but then resistant training/stretches (which you are saying are dynamic stretches) for muscles that just need regular maintenance.
I wonder what type of stretches competitive dancers (or pole dancers especially) or contortionists would need.. because they have BOTH crazy strength and flexibility.

Honest June 21st, 2013 3:13 PM

Well, one of my friends... well, kinda a friend (my friend tried to set me up with her, long story) is a dancer, and I know a little bit of what she does to get ready, and it's both yoga and Pilates, though it appears she does the latter more. It's really incredible when you stop to think about how jacked dancers really are. D=

Also, I called it Trash Beach cause it's literally covered with trash at times, and it's always really filled. Not nice, really.

Morkula June 21st, 2013 7:58 PM

I've never done yoga - the head of the department at my college tried to get all the music majors to do it but it never went anywhere.

I really do need to work out more though. Once I get my own place I'm either going to join a gym or buy some equipment.

Astinus June 21st, 2013 8:54 PM

Beaches in New England tend to be on the gross side. I wouldn't swim in the water at all on Connecticut's shoreline, though I did swim at Cape Cod a few years ago on vacation. My arms were so sore that weekend! I haven't been to the beach recently because I like to go with the dogs, and beaches don't allow dogs during the summertime.

Really, I do a lot of my working out at work. Running around a grocery store for six hours gets the heart rate going, and I've lost fat but gained muscle so I can't say that I lost weight. I just look more fit. Outside of work, I mostly walk, ride a bike, or play basketball for exercise. I've been meaning to start building strength in my body so I can learn breakdancing, or bboying as that's the proper term.

Quote:

I'll admit that I used to dance for years, and my legs were so strong in those days. I miss being that flexible.

Honest June 22nd, 2013 10:02 AM

Dancing itself seems extremely difficult, even with the strength factor down. There needs to be synchronization with the beats, the melody, and a whole lot of other stuff.

Treecko June 22nd, 2013 10:08 AM

Ugh I can't dance to save my life. I used to do theatre and even though I usually got chorus , there was still lots of dances in the shows obviosuly cause that's how musicals are. I had such a hard time keeping up with the chreography and I'm sure I've flobbed up several times during final performances.

droomph June 22nd, 2013 11:25 AM

asdfdancing. I never got it. Who was the first person to go "here let me shake my legs" and then it caught on.

also speaking of things I don't get, I also don't understand why people.

Honest June 22nd, 2013 11:42 AM

Dancing's fun though! :O

My friends and I played Just Dance all day the other day at my house, and it was amazing. =D None of us were any good! ...well, okay, a few were pretty good. Not me though.

Treecko June 22nd, 2013 11:46 AM

I guess, when it's not coordinated. I'm alright at freestyle.

Powerserge June 22nd, 2013 12:08 PM

The only type of dancing I'm able to do is the hip-hop stuff like popping, locking, breaking, and grinding. I can't do anything classy, but I have always wanted to learn how to do stuff like waltz and tango.

I haven't played Just Dance. I used to be really big into DDR though years ago....but that's not as sophisticated, I don't think?

Honest June 22nd, 2013 12:13 PM

Never played DDR so I can't be sure. :c

I myself can't to much of the classy stuff either. I tried it at prom, didn't quite work. Most classy I got was hugging and spinning in a circle veryyyyyyyy slowlyyyyyyyy.

droomph June 22nd, 2013 12:17 PM

I remember being able to swing dance pretty well in 8th grade.

Though I didn't really dance with anyone because it's hard to get people to participate with you when they think you're fugly and annoying lol

Powerserge June 22nd, 2013 12:29 PM

Play DDR bruh! It's so addictive....

And in my experience, if you look like you know what you're doing and look like you're having a good time, chicks (or dudes? haha) will usually be impressed enough to let you grab 'em and dance with them. I've never had someone push me away at the club or something...that would be soooo embarrassing.

Honest June 22nd, 2013 12:32 PM

I'm a little too young to go to a club, haha. Always wondered what it was like to go clubbin'

Cordelia June 22nd, 2013 1:43 PM

Eh, I never enjoyed it. Went once or twice in college because I was dragged by girls... but it's boring, imo.

Powerserge June 22nd, 2013 1:55 PM

It's fun if you're outgoing, and like to dance and/or drink. I don't drink at all, so all the drunks can be a bit annoying if I go alone, but I enjoy it on occasion. Definitely not as much as I used to though. You've gotta choose a good club too, one with music and design that you actually like. Otherwise, what's the point?

And Bloodex, you mean to tell me that you are underage in NYC and don't have a fake ID? Hahaha

Cordelia June 22nd, 2013 1:58 PM

He couldn't get by with a fake ID, sadly. :(

Her June 22nd, 2013 2:07 PM

Dance Dance Revolution is my life and all my friends hate me 'cause whenever I see a DDR game in an arcade I have to play

Shiny Celebi June 22nd, 2013 2:08 PM

I haven't played DDR in years, and wasn't that great at it to begin with. Wouldn't even dream of attempting to play it in public either, lmao. Or dance in general, for that matter - not that DDR is really a good approximation of dancing.

Yes, exactly. I'd pay to see you play DDR though. xD

Blade_of_darkness June 22nd, 2013 4:30 PM

If I were to actually dance, I'd probably be tripping on my own feet constantly, & thus be down on the ground at least half of the time. Which is why you'll rarely see me in a party.

In other news, I got attacked by two small dogs, which are unleashed, unfenced, & otherwise unrestrained, while I was walking to work. If they were any bigger than they are now, I'd most likely be in the hospital now.

I'm really thinking about getting a conceal & carry gun license soon, so that if such a thing would happen again, I'll be able to put them down like the wild animals that they are.

droomph June 22nd, 2013 4:38 PM

y wud u du dat

day may-be goin like "hey dat man looks sad les go cherrimup"

Also just thinking about dancing is making me feel violated lol

I've never gotten into the dance "business" but I imagine I would be pretty good with it fairly quickly.

Hey also I read that if you're suuuuuper rich/insecure you can get chest hair implants lol.

I mean chest hair whatever every guy wants it but that seems like a giant waste of money :p

What about just moving to the music? I used to c-walk a little, and now I don't (well not everyday). But I still incorporate some of the footwork into my everyday boogieing. I like to get people who don't normally dance to dance. I think a lot of people feel self-conscious, but there's really not that much to be afraid about. And everybody has their own style, so it's really cool to see that shine through.

droomph June 22nd, 2013 4:54 PM

What's c-walk

I don't know really. I like music and I'll move a little, but dancing is for the social people or something.

Tsutarja June 22nd, 2013 4:57 PM

I'm not much of a dancer either, but I do find myself able to follow along with others easily, such as when I was with my girlfriend at homecoming and senior prom, and danced pretty good with her.

Kanzler June 22nd, 2013 5:06 PM

Looks like this. I wish I could do that one day. I like it a lot because everybody has a different style. Literally.

I think following along is a really good way for people to get into it, you past those inhibitions when you're among friends. And you can dance alone, like me! In the basement! But not upstairs because people are sleeping! Or only sometimes!

Black Ice June 22nd, 2013 5:41 PM

i don't know what it's called when you thrash around in a club and end up with a girl at the end of the night but i can do that

most of that anyway

from what I can gather that's supposed to be called being 21.

that or fake ID.

Kanzler June 22nd, 2013 8:22 PM

how do you end up with a girl at the end of the night? i can't imagine even starting a club conversation, with the whispering in the ears and whatnot. it's soo ... disillusioning for me.

Sir Codin June 22nd, 2013 9:27 PM

Step 1. Find a girl
Step 2. Buy her a drink
Step 3. Tell her she looks pretty. Does she smile b...

Wait, never mind, this isn't appropriate for PC.

Sothis June 23rd, 2013 1:16 AM

I can do that minus the end up with a girl.
But I'd probably look crazy because I have no coordination at all so not only can I not dance, I can't even run well.

Netto Azure June 23rd, 2013 4:38 AM

I don't think turning 21 gives you any extra licenses.

It gives you more responsibilities certainly.

I think the people need education. How are they ever going to pick up if you stop the instructions at Step 3?

Gabri June 23rd, 2013 12:42 PM

Yay for Europe for allowing such stuff at 18 years old!
Also, horrible dancer here. I have no idea on what to do with my arms.

Honest June 23rd, 2013 12:52 PM

"I throw my hands up in the air sometimes saying "Ayyy yo. Gotta let go"

Basically just throw 'em up and make sure you have deodorant.

And dance to that song while doing it?

Also that reminds me of these memes.

spongebob memes
please people i thought we left 2011 behind years ago

also thank god the one hour rule was finally removed

Honest June 23rd, 2013 3:41 PM

Yep, Andy confirmed that the rule was dumb. So I kicked it's hour long ass to the moon. Woohooooooooooooo~~~

And I hate memes. Pretty sure I've made that clear before, but just in case I didn't. I really hate memes. UNLESS they're actually witty.

Cordelia June 23rd, 2013 4:27 PM

Dipu, does this mean the off-topic thing is pointless now? Or can we never change the topic after an hour?!

mefinks this just means once you think the conversation's backed up in a corner, you can change the topic whether it's 1 minute, 8 weeks, etc.

Meganium June 23rd, 2013 6:59 PM

I thought memes are cool, but to be quite honest a lot of them are getting pointless to the fact that they aren't really funny anymore.

but i still appreciate lolcats so much.

also glad that one rule is gone too. <3

the rule of thumb is that once it's featured on national news, it's officially overused.

It means that we won't be so picky as to how the current topic changes. Droomph put it best really. Use your head, essentially.

in all honesty though you should "suggest" waiting one hour before changing the topic.

Hey cool, I used to cwalk too :-)

Also, I like memes.Only if they're good and the memes are used properly. If not, they're just horrible.

ANARCHit3cht June 23rd, 2013 8:24 PM

I remember that me and a couple of kids at school made our own meme about this other kid that we didn't like. In all honesty, it is some pretty stupid stuff, but if you actually know the kid, it's pretty funny. It's mostly just making fun of really stupid stuff he says or does....

I really didn't make any of these, they just invited me to be an admin of the page for some reason.

Her June 23rd, 2013 8:54 PM

lmao @ the first one
i would not get along with that person at all

there's no way i would have chosen to be gay tbh
but.............here i am!!!

Treecko June 23rd, 2013 9:14 PM

He sounds like a jerk and rather hypocritical. (And I though he was woman at first tbh.)

And memes (despite me using one in this thread. I'm sorry.) are cool, except when overexposed like droomph said. Like Grumpy Cat getting a book AND a movie based off him and this whole page. Yeah, that's when memes can get too annoying. There's some funny ones though.

Captain Gizmo June 23rd, 2013 9:48 PM

Summer Paradise Chit-Chat! (Rule removed, read first post!)

the worst thing I saw was when I saw the rage comic guys on the cover of a notebook in the dollar store. I think memes should stay on the internet.

Hikamaru June 23rd, 2013 9:52 PM

I love memes, they are the reason why I wanted to brighten the world with laughter. My faves always included the "Y U No" and rage comics. Especially the crazy ones on Pokememes, they make me never stop laughing.

The only meme I've ever liked was the Spiderman one. Uncontrollable laughter every time.

Exactly what I (and droopmh) said. When memes are brought to real life media, that's when it's too much.
