RU team ver. 2.0
I revamped my RU team, but it still focuses on Gallade.
http://pldh.net/media/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite_animated_front/475.gif Gallade: -Bulk Up -Drain Punch -Night Slash -Substitute Nature: Careful EVs: 240 HP/212 SDef/56 Spe Item: Leftovers Ability: Justified Like in my last team, this one isn't to be replaced, though other set suggestions are still welcome. http://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/black-white/anim/normal/rotom-mow.gif Mow Rotom: -Volt Switch -Leaf Storm -Hidden Power (Fire) -Thunder Wave Nature: Timid EVs: 48 HP/252 Atk/208 Spe Item: Leftovers This time, Mow Rotom serves as paralysis support. Its role of countering other bulky Water Pokemon stays the same. http://pldh.net/media/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite_animated_front/139.gif Omastar: -Stealth Rock -Spikes -Scald -Ice Beam Nature: Bold EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef Item: Leftovers Ability: Shell Armor Omastar sets up entry hazards to aid in KOing opponents and deals with Fire Pokemon like opposing Entei. http://pldh.net/media/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite_animated_front/244.gif Entei: -Flare Blitz -ExtremeSpeed -Stone Edge -Sleep Talk Nature: Adamant EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe Item: Flame Plate Entei allows me to hit Escavalier and Grass Pokemon hard. I went with Flame Plate because I wanted Entei to have freedom switching between its moves. http://pldh.net/media/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite_animated_front/615.gif Cryogonal: -Ice Beam -Hidden Power (Fire) -Rapid Spin -Recover Nature: Timid EVs: 64 HP/252 SAtk/192 Spe Item: Icicle Plate Even though Cryogonal is weak to Stealth Rock, it still can use Rapid Spin to clear away opposing hazards. I'm using the offensive set to catch opponents off-guard. http://pldh.net/media/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite_animated_front/442.gif Spiritomb: -Sucker Punch -Pursuit -Shadow Sneak -Will-o-Wisp Nature: Adamant EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 SDef Item: BlackGlasses Ability: Pressure Spiritomb is the team's spinblocker and check/counter to Ghosts and Psychics, as well as frail Pokemon in general. While testing the team, I found that it had problems with Water Pokemon if Mow Rotom got taken out. Considerations: -Choice Band and/or Hidden Power (Grass) on Entei -Defensive Spiritomb/Cryogonal |
I'd put HP Grass on Entei and not the Choice Band since you want the freedom of changing moves, putting a Choice Band on it would not be a bad idea since it is more physical than special but if you want the freedom of choosing moves then definitely go for the HP Grass instead as it will also give you a check against weaknesses, and putting a Defensive set on Spiritomb would also be a good idea as it is more defensive than offensive and your using it as a spin blocker.
P.S Why make a new thread instead of edit the old one? |

The reason why Entei has Sleep Talk is so that it can function even if it's put to sleep by Amoonguss' Spore. HP Grass wouldn't be a bad idea for dealing with Water and Rock Pokemon without relying on Mow Rotom, though. Defensive Spiritomb is worth a try. The reason why I had it at offensive was to have it deal more damage to frail Pokemon and Ghosts/Psychics, but I realized it had a tendency to take more damage than I would've liked it to. |
