First off might i say great game so far. Just beat the water gym, which glitched afterwards dont know if its been shared, and so far loving this hack. One of the best I have played. On that note I will be looking forward to more updates. Have found a bunch of wall/flooring glitches and i believe there is also an instance when i stepped ontop of a pc....love the job system and look forward to replaying trying multiple options. Always wanted to be a baddie. Was also wondering if there was a reason the master ball was given so early even though Avara says that they will be in shops? Im guessing that after beating the champion the pokeball shop may sell them in a later update? But anyways one last thing, and i dont know if this has been mentioned but i believe it would be nice to have a way to see who your references are would be helpful to know how many i had but that may be personal opinion. But anyways keep up the great work.

As stated earlier in the thread, Azradon is ???-type and intentionally does not get STAB. Its base stats are apparently quite high in order to compensate for that.

@avaramoon: That should probably be put in the FAQ, given how many times it's been asked :/

I'm having a problem with the Lord Grey's Manor. Instead of the reddish look that my friend has (he's a Seeker) I'm only seeing mist. I can't see anything at all but the mist, and I am a Criminal if that matters at all. Any help would be great.

Maybe its career specific? Mine was also mist as I'm a criminal as well.

Yeah, I know that. I just wish it did >_< I guess it's just mine is an impish nature (+defense, -special attack) so my embers and stuff are doing less than usual :/

The tripoke challenge is really handy for grinding. ^o^ The +5 rare candies is a really great idea, especially with the level jumps. Also, the evolution idea for azoradon is really neat, as well, although it's a little late in he game :) Btw, is aerodactyl in the game? I tried looking in that fossil cave by cyan sea for about 30 minutes, and couldn't find one. Aries mentioned an amber to solomon? Sorry if this is a retarded question..xD

Yes Aerodactyl is in the game. I managed to catch him at first time at cave level 35 so keep trying :)

Were the shiny encounter rates tweaked in this game? Just caught a shiny oddish and bellsprout in the span of 10 minutes!!!

You could just use the vs seeker, you can keep battling the trainers on routes for ever since there is no wait time for a trainer to be available again to battle you.

with this i level'd up my team from the 20's to the 30's really quick.

zizibu June 26th, 2014 12:44 AM

I just got to the Clearwater pond event, and wow, I have to say I'm impressed!

I want to say a few things bellow, like bugs, ideas, things i really like about the game etc

WARNING DO NOT OPEN THE SPOILERS TAB IF YOU HAVEN'T REACHED THE CLEARWATER POND EVENT YET IT MAY CONTAIN PLOT INFO

Spoiler:
First off I will like to say I love the concept of this game, it's so original it doesn't even feel like a Pokemon game XD.

Here are a few suggestions first:

You could add a bit more diversity of Pokemon at the start of the game (you probably are already implementing that in version 3 but I just wanted to get it out there) there are currently very few Pokemon to choose from, so its hard to complete the task of a researcher and to have a balanced team etc

If you want you could add some starters as a side quest. for example, you could make a separate event for whatever career you choose. If you are a seeker, then you are ordered to find the starters which are rare Pokemon. And if you are a criminal, you can be ordered to steal the starters from their owners.

WE NEED A MAP!

Bugs (and other things) i have found:

There are many invisible tiles which block you from entering different areas.
It says i need a strong flying Pokemon but i have a Lv41 Swellow (shouldn't that be counted as a Pokemon that can use fly?).
There are many signs, and people that say nothing (again you probably know this and you are currently/later on, fixing this).

Questions (if anyone could answer i would be grateful)

Where can you find a good rod or a super rod? i need one to capture a water Pokemon for surf.

Is Porygon considered a legend in this game? If i loose with it will it be taken away?

My opinion on this hack:

The story is intense and so entertaining i can't stop playing! i love the diversity of the charterers, they are realistic and some are even relatable (and for the first time the rival actually is a real, pardon my french, as*hole!), for example i love how some authorities treat people rudely as if the were "scum" and how some are corrupt and alcoholic :p and how there is a tight envy/love situation between Tristan and (sorry cant remember her name but you know who...). Also its interesting to see how the seekers (STS) are supposedly the good guys but they are also considered a threat to some Pokemon and some leaders show a sign of greed.

Overall i give the game a current 8/10! (due to in-completion) but when its finished it will definitely be a 10/10! This is by far the most original, creative and innovative Pokemon hack i have seen, i recommend this to anyone, and when its finished it will definitely become better than well known Pokemon hacks like light platinum, liquid crystal and flora sky. i wish you good luck @avaramoon and i will be checking for updates very often!

Current Pokemon team on this game:

AZRADON Lv39
ZWEILOUS Lv43
SWELLOW Lv41
HOUNDOOM Lv36
SCYTHER Lv23
PORYGON Lv19

I'm a fellow seeker and researcher!

Yes, I did that eventually. :) In the clearwater pond, at that point in the game. I'm always under leveled in any hack or main series game, because I have a habit of having a complete team before the third/fourth badge (I love all sorts of pokemon ^o^) As a seeker, I took down the boss of the evil team, who had lvl 47-9 pokes, with my own lvl 35 pokes ;_; Directly after that battle, I grinded at the tripoke challenge for about 20-30 minutes and brought my whole team up to 45.

I am having a bit of a struggle deciding on the build-up events leading to it, so thought I'd see what you guys think should happen!

Without spoiling too much, here was my basic idea. There are three places you will be allowed to access when you become a Master Trainer. One of these places is extremely important to the storyline.

I don't know whether to have the player complete the events in the area of importance before the Tournament or after. Or, maybe I should put the areas of lesser importance before the Tournament and save the important place for after?

Let me know what you all think would be the best thing to do =)

I was looking at old posts and was thinking that instead of 8 straight matches let us heal in between. I think it would
d be more real. I think it would be more interesting if the opponets had different types of pokemon rather than 1 strong type. To make up for healing maybe make the battles tougher?

U dont have to do any of this I was just coming up with ideas for u. I really like the game and I hope u finish it soon

This might sound really silly, but in Tain's Gym, the shadow one, how on earth do I get through it? I've been stuck there for two hours!

Loving the hack!

Shortest way possible: Walk into the gym, go directly left. Follow that path to the next platform. Go to the top right corner of that platform, there's an exit. On the next platform (it has a trainer), battle him. Go to the top left corner, go to the platform on the left. Top right corner, the path that leads to gym leader. Hope that helped! :)
