Bit more info on the first one:
http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/09/meet_aurorus_another_evolution_in_pokemon_x_and_y

Quite liking the Trex evo! Even more inclined to use it on my team now.

metalhand September 19th, 2013 4:25 AM

Now I know for sure that I will revive Tyrant!

Hikamaru September 19th, 2013 4:29 AM

I have to say these look like the best-designed fossil evos to date. I'm loving Aurorus especially because it looks so majestic and beautiful, but Tyrantum is pretty badass too. Still might be going with the icy dino on my first playthrough though.

«Chuckles» September 19th, 2013 4:31 AM

OMG these are the best looking fossil pokemon (well Tyrant anyways I will name the other blue one something like stegosaurus or something)

We get a cool T-Rex

classiccartoonsftw September 19th, 2013 4:58 AM

Both of these are very interesting IMO. I hope Tyrantrum gets better bulk and/or Speed than Rampardos, so that it can actually be usable. Also, Aurorus should get a relatively high Special Attack stat, so that it can use Freeze Dry to its fullest potential.

Decimosoma September 19th, 2013 5:10 AM

I'm actually disappointed with Tyrunt. That's what I get for putting hopes up to high.
Aurorus looks doable and pretty nice designed overall. Still, Anorith/Armaldo are still my favorite fossil Pokémon, maybe next game they will finally make a fossil Pokémon that I'll prefer over Armaldo, who knows?

Superjub September 19th, 2013 5:49 AM

Looking at the evolution of Tyrunt... its face especially bears a striking resemblance to Groudon. xD I love Amaura's evolution of course. :)

Synerjee September 19th, 2013 6:00 AM

Both of them look really great! Aurorus is beautiful whereas Tyrantum is fierce - a great fossil Pokemon combo. Aurorus appeals to me much more than Tyrantum though. A huge possibility it might actually make my future X/Y team. Oh no now that I have too many Pokemon shortlisted for my team I won't know which one actually deserves to be on it...

Boilurn September 19th, 2013 6:10 AM

Aurorus looks just beautifully bright and sexy, whereas Tyrantum scares the hell out of me. I sure hope the latter has the intimidate ability, and that the former has Serene Grace.

JayTheKing September 19th, 2013 6:11 AM

Aurorus has Saphires while Tyrantum has a ruby crown.REMAKES CONFIRMED

Aurorus for me!I love it!Majestic and cute.Rare combination like Milotic!

As secondary/Dream World abilities, right?

Anyway, I really like Tyrantrum. Its big, burly appearance just screams out badass. The crown is a nice touch too. Aurorus, on the other hand, looks just as graceful as Amaura.

Iceshadow3317 September 19th, 2013 6:39 AM

O....M.....G.. I will most definitely be getting Tyrunt in my first run. They did a great job with him. I like the other as well, but not as much.

blue September 19th, 2013 6:43 AM

Right now this changes my team plans yet again, I love how both of these have turned out and now I'm torn between the both of them!

Treecko September 19th, 2013 6:45 AM

Tyrantrum is what I expected a T-Rex Pokemon to look like. ITS JUST. SO BEASTLY. I'm definitely picking Tyrunt as my fossil Pokemon. And Aurorus is freaking majestic. I like Tyrantrum more than Aurorus , though they're both amazing looking.

Guy September 19th, 2013 6:46 AM

The fossil evolutions are better than I expected! And I really love that they can both appeal to different kinds of players; the intimidating and ferocious one, and the majestic and beautiful one. I'm almost definitely going to go with Tyrunt though. I've always wanted a Pokémon based off of the T-Rex.

Palkia September 19th, 2013 6:47 AM

Looks like the evolutions to these pokémon have changed my decision to use them. While I dislike Amaura, It's evolution is really quite good and a welcome improvement.

The Tyrunt evo looks like a pile of spikes and random scales trying to convey a T-Rex. It doesn't look formidable, it just looks goofy.

I can't believe it, but Amaura is my choice out of the two, plus it's Rock/Ice typing is quite intriguing even though it has 2 4x weaknesses. (plus it's new move Freeze dry which super-effective's Water types, looks like a killer move)

pokerex September 19th, 2013 6:51 AM

Tyrantum looks so huge and powerfull. I will definately get one on my team.

Also that move freeze dry will be super effective to water-types. i don't see how that works.

Think of it like Scald which has the ability to burn. Logically speaking, water has a weakness to frozen temperatures, so having an Ice type move that has the side effect of actually doing effective damage against water types is pretty neat!

If this is what the rumor about double type moves was, certain type moves being super effective against types they normally have average to little effect on, then it's not as bad as I imagined it would be.

Sabrewulf238 September 19th, 2013 7:13 AM

Aurorus looks amazing, I think I'll definitely be picking Amaura. Tyrantrum looks cool too, there's something for everyone.

Aurorus looks a little awkward in game though, it'll probably look better in motion.

Annataz September 19th, 2013 7:17 AM

I like them both quite a lot. This might be the first generation since Kanto where I'll actually use a fossil Pokemon. I don't know which one I'll choose yet (I'll need to see stats and movesets), but I'm leaning toward Amaura despite the x4 weaknesses.

Iceshadow3317 September 19th, 2013 7:19 AM

I don't see how it will work either. Why would only 1 Ice attack be effective against water? I was never really a fan of dual type moves, because that is just too much stuff to take into account in battling.

Tyrantrum also has a 4x weakness, although to ice instead. :S I guess Ice isn't as popular as fighting, but still. xD

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire September 19th, 2013 7:37 AM

Look at that beauty, and that tyrant. These fossil Pokemon look as good as ever :)

I still don't know which to pick...

Aurorus is said to have a move called Freeze dry which can freeze Pokemon...oh and is super effective against Water types...

MarinoKadame September 19th, 2013 9:38 AM

Theres still hope for a Standalone 3rd fossil pokemon.

Tyrantrum doesn't have a x4 weakness. Its weak to Fighting, Dragon, Ground, Fairy, Ice, and Steel. All of which are x2. Rock and Dragon have no common weaknesses.

For some reason I think Rock was weak to Ice, my apologies. xD

I guess I need to brush up on my type match-ups. :p

EDIT: Seems I was thinking of ground, a bit of a school-boy error on my part. xD

OmegaTL September 19th, 2013 10:24 AM

Oh wow, these look awesome! I love fossil Pokémon.
I certainly want an Aurorus.

SnowpointQuincy September 19th, 2013 10:31 AM

I DO NOT want to see pics to the Fossil Evolutions! I don't like evolved forms being spoiled! It should be a Surprise every time something evolves!

However, the info on them is Amazing! Tyrantrum... Awesome name!

I'm pretty sure that new move might be one of those double type moves mentioned in the rumours. If they work like this then I am all for them. My favourite has to be Tyrantrum, the name is amazing, and it has a great design, not to say the other one is bad though, that one is great to. Anyway Tyrantrum, 10/10, would train.

BubbleBeams September 19th, 2013 11:00 AM

I saw Aurorus and instantly decided I'm reserving a spot on one of my teams for it. It's so beautiful. Tyrantrum is pretty cool as well! I think I have a new favorite pair of fossil Pokemon! ^^

BeefTaco September 19th, 2013 11:02 AM

I hope GF gave Tyrantrum the stats it deserves. Seriously just look at it, it looks like a Pseudo Legend.

Oshamaru September 19th, 2013 12:44 PM

I am going to pick Amaura, so it's good news that its evolution looks like that.
Tyrunt's evo looks pretty cool, too. I'll use it on my second run.

To be honest I wanted to be amazed and surprised about their evos when X and Y were released...But knowing them right now is not bad.:)

Archeops is the Non legendary/psuedo legendary with highest base stat(but with annoying ability), so I think tyrantrum will have a good stats(I exept at least very stong attack stat and good speed).

blue September 19th, 2013 12:56 PM

In terms of stats I think these Fossil Pokémon judging from their appearances will have a similar BST to Archeops if not a little lower, anywhere between the 520 - 560 range would be fitting.

Meganium September 19th, 2013 12:57 PM

Aurorus is a beauty. It is a must have on my team, especially since it has a somewhat interesting move. It shall be quite useful for my team. :D

Keiran September 19th, 2013 1:01 PM

I love Tyrantrum. Im going to name mine Jawesome. *rimshot*

Sirfetch’d September 19th, 2013 1:02 PM

I have never been more in love with fossil Pokemon than I am with these. GF designed these to perfection and I cannot wait to use them both on my team and I will be trading with someone to get the other because I simply cannot choose. 10/10 GF!

I must have an Aurorus. It's just too damn gorgeous ;)

Sukiyomi September 19th, 2013 1:31 PM

This is unbelievable! I cant believe Im saying this... This is going to be the first EVER that I use a fossil pokemon on my main team. The best part about it is that I dont care which one it is because they can both find a home with me! Hmmm Id prefer not to pick Tyrantrum like everyone else but hes just so freakin cool. However, the other one has the freeze dry move... that dual type move would be sooo useful later on since Im starting with fennekin...only time will tell though

Hopefully Freeze Dry has good attack power. It should be 75-80 so it doesn't outshine Ice Beam, kinda like Surf and Scald (althought most people use Scald now).

Nakuzami September 19th, 2013 1:34 PM

ermergerd, I love them! And the idea behind Freeze-Dry is just GREAT. AAAAAAGH, there's so many pokémon I need to try out on my main team. I'll have to replay it, like, five times in the first week! Hopefully I do end up getting both games, as I had originally planned.

Auroras is very elegant and Tyrantrum is just epic! Similar to the contrast between Xerneas and Yveltal. I love it!

Snowdrop September 19th, 2013 2:14 PM

Lovelovelove Tyrantrum.

Not so big on Amaurus or whatever its name is. It looks poorly designed to me. That big mfing T-Rex looks awesome though, it's the best fossil since Aerodactyl!

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire September 19th, 2013 2:17 PM

I love the contrast between the looks, one is graceful looking, and other looks fierce. Just like how Sinnoh's had one who was defensive and the other being offensive.

xseed September 19th, 2013 2:28 PM

I just simply LOVE amarus or whatevs. Tyramutur or whatevs looks great too but the ice dino has a amore unique look.

Pinkie-Dawn September 19th, 2013 2:55 PM

Auroras' design has only made me more confused on which species of sauropod it's based off of, because I really don't remember any with frills on their long necks. I know one dinosaur that does, whose name I keep forgetting, but I don't think that counts as a sauropod. I knew Tyrunt would have a good-looking evolution; I just hope its base stats don't disappoint, or else I'll use Noiverne like I originally planned as my Dragon type.

The ruby crown's a nice touch as Ruby was/is seen as the stone was seen as the King of gem stones in India and other parts of southeast Asia and the T-Rex is seen as the King of Dinosaurs in popular culture :)

Atomic Pirate September 19th, 2013 4:19 PM

That brontosaurus is hideous, but so was the first evolution, so not surprising. It honestly looks like a Fakemon (especially so due to the terrible official art) Tyrantrum, though, kicks a certain amount of ass. With so many new Pokemon being shrouded in painfully clashing colors, it's nice to see something that looks good. Plus, it's a king T-Rex.

Xander Olivieri September 19th, 2013 4:28 PM

I don't see a Ruby crown on Tyrantum. I see a goldish set of spikes protruding from his head.

http://www.serebii.net/xy/tyrantrum.png

I think too many attempts to associate any vague hope for Remakes are starting to make people see what they want again. I think the gemstones are to represent Ice for its type while the Tyrannosaurus has scales to represent the dragon type. I don't think the adornments have that much more to it than their type representations.

Lol so true, but if it did have a ruby crown it'll be a nice touch as it was the king of the gemstones :3

I think it also has to do with their positions in the ancient world they used to inhabit...after all isn't Tyrunt called the Royal Pokemon?

Shrew September 19th, 2013 5:14 PM

I love the contrast between soft versus fierce, graceful versus tantrum, blue vs red. I love it when version exclusives, or in this case just fossil brethren, are very different from each other. I liked Cranidos and Shieldon for being sword vs shield, Archen and Tirtouga for being sky vs sea. These fossils take the cake for having the greatest contrast between fossils. :)

Aurora Beam is my favorite ice type move. I've always wanted ice-type pokemon that used the idea of Auroras in them. I liked Lapras, so maybe I'll use Amaura.

Arise September 19th, 2013 5:19 PM

Tyrantrum doesn't appeal to me - I'm definitely not liking the "beard." Aurorus, on the other hand, is beautiful, which surprises me since I wasn't sure about Amaura. Tyrantrum looks like a king, and even Aurorus has a queenly air about it. Aurorus reminds me of Suicune and Dragonair, and a bit of Glaceon and Articuno (because of the diamond pattern). Its fins(?) look a bit like butterfly wings to me. So pretty. In fact, this is the first Ice type to really appeal to me. If only I liked Meganium as much (hopefully its mega will be awesome ^-^).

darkpokeball September 19th, 2013 5:24 PM

Before I saw the evos, I was like
"AMAURA FTW! WEWT!"

After I saw the evos, I was like:
"AURORUS FTW! WEWT!"

So...yeah, I'm reviving Amaura.

You know the beard it has reminds me a bit of Drayden's...part Dragon type Pokémon with the beard of a Dragon gym leader...

Hiatus September 19th, 2013 6:13 PM

I love the beauty and elegance of Auroras, and the blue-colored gems that are on its body are a really nice touch. Tyrantum seems to be quite dangerous. With those sharp-looking fangs, it should be able to take down any Pokémon that gets in its path. Auroras has a huge body size, so it must have some good defensive stats due to that. When it comes to battling, I'm expecting it to be used as some sort of a wall. As for Tyrantum, it could be used as an attacker. Maybe as a physical attacker.

Aeroblast September 19th, 2013 8:58 PM

I'll probably get Tyrantum. It looks pretty cool and Rock/dragon sounds really cool.

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire September 19th, 2013 9:06 PM

Tyrantum's weaknesses are Fairy, Ground, Dragon, and Fighting...two of those are common and another one seems like it'll be common in this region...

Anyone notice how Unova Pokémon seem to be ignored? Thus far none have been retcon as Fairy plus they have yet to show any Megas of them...

countryemo September 19th, 2013 9:34 PM

Ok the rock/ice ones evolution defiantly makes me like that one a bit more. The T-rex still looks like a digimon.

Hikamaru September 19th, 2013 9:58 PM

Maybe the reason no Unova Pokemon have been shown with new Fairy typing or Mega Evolutions so far is probably because maybe they want to keep them a surprise when the games get released. Game Freak sometimes tends to keep some things under wraps until release to try and surprise players or have the players discover them themselves.

Elaitenstile September 19th, 2013 11:03 PM

I don't really specifically like any per se, but I have to admit the design comes off as quite interesting. Aurorus has that elegant dino look and that Tyrantum looks nice, but not as fierce as I expected. But still, maybe it's just the perspective view or something.

Queen September 20th, 2013 1:44 AM

Tyrantum looks absolutely awesome. Finally we have a T-rex based Pokemon.

Gfx September 20th, 2013 2:31 AM

Tyrynt and them remind me of Rampardos.
The rock and ice one is sexy though. Will probably use that. The combo is also nice, because it will make grass ground and fighting the only
Super effective attacks.

Livewire September 20th, 2013 7:35 AM

http://www.serebii.net/xy/tyrantrum.png

This thing is the best Pokemon ever designed in the history of the world. All of Kalos will quake in fear at the sight of the tyrant lizard king. Its amazing. <3

Kind of indifferent to Amaura/Auraurus though.

metalhand September 20th, 2013 8:45 AM

"It reigned over 100 million years ago as king"
-The description of Tyrantrum

Now tell me that pokemon not awesome! not only he look like a boss, he actually was the boss!

blue September 20th, 2013 9:07 AM

It's an actual Dinosaur Pokémon! It's been far too long and now we finally have a T-Rex Pokémon.

MarinoKadame September 20th, 2013 10:22 AM

Hope gen 7 will have a Mammal fossil, maybe a Yeti or something else like a Sabretooth Tiger.

Entermaid September 20th, 2013 10:45 AM

These are by far my favorite pair of fossil pokemon introduced.

Granted, Aurorus's official cocept art doesn't do it justice (similarly to Quilladin), the actual screenshots are great. I love the diamonds, white crown, and the more subdued yellow frills. Tyrantrum is pretty the much the epitome of what a dinosaur pokemon should be. Like Pyroar, this one is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. The spiked gold head-plate and white spiky frills, as well as the red and gold color palette of the scales, it's just amazing.

I like both of them just about equally. This is the first time I really enjoy both of the fossil pokemon.

Gen 1 - 6.5/10
I never cared much for Omastar and Kabutops, nor did I dislike them
Gen 3 - 6.5/10
I loved Cradily, but the Armaldo-line didn't appeal to me at all
Gen 4 - 7/10
I loved me some Bastiodon, and Rampardos had so much potential, but something was lost in the red eyes and gauche color palette.
Gen 5 - 6/10
Archeops really could have been my favorite of the region, but that derpy-face detracted from the design a lot! And Carracosta was bulk and gauche.
Gen 6 - 9/10
Just about perfect.

SkyRyder September 20th, 2013 11:50 AM

These have to be the best set of fossils I've ever seen in Pokemon. Then again, I've never been much of a fan with fossil Pokemon, other than Aerodactyl.

I'm definitely going to have Tyrantrum on my team. I've never used a fossil Pokemon on my team, and hopefully I'll be able to revive myself a Tyrunt some time in the game where I don't have to grind it up a whole lot to be on par with the rest of my team.

Aurorus is the interesting one of two. It has a unique ability, turning all of its normal-type attacks into ice-type attacks, which is amazing. Freeze Dry being able to do super effective damage to water-types will also be a metagame changer, depending on its base power and how available this move will be to other Pokemon. I can see this being like the new Scald/Surf for ice-type attacks.

22 more days until X and Y. :]

Altair September 20th, 2013 11:51 AM

These fossil Pokemon are incredible! I'm definitely using them on my team!
The Tyrunt and it's evolution's design is just so intimidating, the other Pokemon's abilities are interesting and having a move that can counter it's weakness and get a STAB off it is pretty useful.

tnfsf11 September 20th, 2013 12:08 PM

I actually like both a lot, kinda equally, would it be too possessive if I traded in the fossil that I won't choose in-game & thus have both Pokémon?

Nah, everybody does that...

iTeruri September 20th, 2013 12:18 PM

It bothers me that the title mention that the evolutions were leaked, but in actuality they were just revealed.

As long as it's not revealed in CoroCoro, Smash or the official website, it's a leak.
Or at least that's what I understood...

TreeKangaroo September 20th, 2013 4:23 PM

Spino had the best reaction to the T-rex ever. Anyways, I think I'll try one on my first playthrough and the other one for the second. The T-rex better have good speed and attack, because I think T-rexes were fast but I'm very impressed with these 2.

Murkrow September 20th, 2013 6:07 PM

well they were not officially unveiled in the beginning so it was put as a leak...

Leaking refers to the unauthorized revealing of information (e.g. taking pictures of CoroCoro when it's not officially out and putting them online). The sites that revealed these evolution were meant to reveal them; as they were authorized, they didn't leak, they revealed.

I love both of them. Tyrantrum is a complete badass and Aurorus (such a beatuiful name) is gorgeous. I'll use one in my X team and the other in my Y team.

^ Found those pictures on Serebii. Just look at that thing. One of the most badass Pokemon I have ever laid eyes on. Soooo cool. It also learns Head Smash, so imagine STAB Head Smash + STAB Outrage. I just hope that Attack stat is there to back it up.

It has been said that it used to be the king of pokemons 100 million years ago, so I exept its stat to be very high. It would be cool if it would have a psuedo-legendary stats.

Cerberus87 September 21st, 2013 9:40 AM

It will be hard to choose... Both are awesome. Knowing me, I'll probably go with Tyrantrum, but Aurorus looks pretty good as well.

MarinoKadame September 21st, 2013 9:41 AM

I find him quite small I could see him having a longer body.

François September 21st, 2013 10:51 AM

I don't really think much of Tyrantrum. He's not as fearsome as he's probably designed to be. I think I'd be more worried about encountering a Haxorus. Aurorus is really stunning though, really hoping to use her in game. Just hope she's not ruined by being a wall with that typing.

Ajin September 21st, 2013 12:25 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if Tyrantum was Kalos' pseudo-legend dragon. I mean, it's part dragon and probably have ridiculously high stats, to compensate the ridiculously high evolution level / ridiculously hard evolution method if probably has.

SkyRyder September 21st, 2013 12:46 PM

It's hard to tell if Tyrantrum will have awesome stats overall or not. The majority of fossil Pokemon are limited to having a BST of 495(with only Aerodactyl(515) and Archeops(567) as exceptions). Tyrantrum could still be a threat with this limitation, just invest it all in attack and speed and call it a deal from there.

I just doubt it will be a pseudo-legend though, because why give one fossil Pokemon such amazing stats plus a decent ability, have Archeops just sit there with an awful ability as a handicap, and have the rest watch it prevail. It would be nice, since I like Tyrantrum a lot, but chances are it's not going to happen.

They will, actually. Every fossil pairs has one as a sweeper (Kabutops, Armaldo, Rampardos, and Archeops) and the other as a tank/wall (Omastar, Cradily, Bastiodon, and Carracosta). Tyrantium screams out "sweeper," while Aurorus screams out "tank." Like I said, Aurorus is going to be the worst of the two because of how it fails as a tank with that dual type that's meant for sweepers.

Ajin September 21st, 2013 12:53 PM

Eh, you never know. If Gen VI is the revamp GF claims to be I wouldn't put past it, especially because you can't really hope to compare a T-Rex to a Archeopteryx.

Insanium September 21st, 2013 2:51 PM

Can we talk about the potential of Aurorus having Giga Impact or Hyper Beam with the Refrigerate ability? Does that seem like a wise strategy for making the most out of that ability? What would you guys think about it having one of the most powerful ice type attacks?

I sure hope not. I'll actually like to see Aurorus be a sweeper too, a special sweeper as I don't believe we've had a fossil Pokémon as a special sweeper.

MarinoKadame September 21st, 2013 3:08 PM

Wonder if Aurorus will be able to learn Last Resort and Thrash.

Hiatus September 21st, 2013 4:18 PM

I imagine Tyrantrum to have kind of a low health and defensive stats, like Cranidos and Aerodactyl. Speed and Attack are most likely going to be its strong points, and probably its Sp. Attack stat as well. If this Pokémon is going to have a secondary type, then I'm guessing it'll be rock. Either that, or maybe it'll be dark. If it is dark, then I'm not exactly sure how many will use this Pokémon when it comes to battling, since it will be four-times weak to fairy-types. d: It'll be weak to fighting-types, too, which is one of the most Pokémon types in competive play.

Aurorus' second type could be fairy, since it does look a little fairy-like. If it's not fairy, then I think it'll be water. I'm expecting Aurorus to be a slow Pokémon like Swampert and Scizor, but I'll be happy as long as it has high defenses. (: If it has access to Wish, Heal Bell, or any other supporting moves, then it'll be even better!

Aurorus specializing mostly on SpA in terms of offense would only put its ability to waste, for there aren't that many Physical Ice moves, and turning normal moves like Return and Body Slam would just as useful as Ice Beam and Blizzard. Plus, there aren't that many Special Normal moves that can be as good as those Ice moves mentioned.

Um, their types are already confirmed. Tyrantium is Rock/Dragon, and Aurorus is Rock/Ice.

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire September 21st, 2013 5:54 PM

Good point...however it Aurorus doesn't strike me as a physical attacker...so Hyper Beam will proably be it's best gain...turning it into Ice version with it's ability. Hopefully Kalos will have more special normal moves...like a special version of Return...

I think Power Gem and Aurora Beam suits 'Nessie' more. :/

PokemonCollector-N September 21st, 2013 6:20 PM

I personally love both of them. I remember always liking "long neck" dinosaurs when I was younger, so the auroras are very appealing to me. The tyrants on the other hand, are pretty cool as well, and I think that GameFreak really did well with both of these, regardless of the number of people that compare Tyrantrum to a Digimon. Honestly though, I'm not seeing much that people some people don't seem to compare to Digimon in X and Y.

I'll be getting both games, but I'll probably pick Tyrunt for whichever one I end up playing through first. Simply for the fact that I adore dragon types.

I don't we've ever had a fossil specialize in Sp. Attack since Omastar, and Aurorus looks like a good candidate to be special-based attacker since most Ice-types tend to be in those roles. And I am hoping that this generation will introduce more special-based Normal-type attacks to take advantage of Refrigerate. I am hoping we get a special-based counterpart to Return, because while the move hits hard with max happiness, it's all but wasted potential on special attackers.

Fossil pokemon choice

With only less than a month away from its release, I have one question (team wise). Which fossil pokemon are you going to put on your team? Will you have the mighty Tyrunt, the majestic Amaura or both? Personally, I might go for Amaura since I might need a good ice type for my team (that and dragon's new weakness to fairy type moves).

Aeroblast September 21st, 2013 8:13 PM

Even with the fairy disadvantage I'll pick Tyrantium. I just can't bring myself to look past the awful Ice/Rock typing that Amaura has.

Hikamaru September 21st, 2013 8:19 PM

While Amaura's type combination has 2 nasty 4x weaknesses to Fighting and Steel, that won't stop me getting the Sail Fossil because I tend to love Ice-types slightly better. May not use it on my main team though but we'll wait and see.
