Two New Evolutions: Slurpuff and Aromatisse

From serebii.net.

A new pamphlet has come out featuring two brand new Pokémon. These Pokémon are evolutions of Swirlix and Spritzee and are known in Japanese as Peroriimu and Furefuran respectively. Like their pre-evolutions, they are pure Fairy-type. This is not 100% confirmed at this time, but is almost certainly real. We'll bring more information as it comes

I think if he's been confident enough to post these, they're likely legit.

Killjoy October 2nd, 2013 6:34 AM

I like the one on the right! I guess it's the third form?

Murkrow October 2nd, 2013 6:35 AM

disappointed...especially for spiritzee was hoping it would be more plaguedoctor-ish but oh well

blue October 2nd, 2013 6:36 AM

I had Serebii open from about 20 minutes ago and I didn't see this, refreshed and BAM! there it is.
Obviously they're evolutions to Swirlix & Spitzee respectively, not much change aesthetically but they still look darn cute! Although it does look like they're still in for yet another evolution, idk?

Hikamaru October 2nd, 2013 6:38 AM

I have to admit these evolutions don't look that much different from Swirlix and Spritzee themselves. Spritzee's definitely disappointed those who were hoping for more emphasis of a plague doctor look though. Can't wait to see what English names they will have and given they look official I'm hoping they'll get revealed internationally in a few days.

BeefTaco October 2nd, 2013 6:39 AM

I know what they where going for theme wise but I just don't find these appealing.

Treecko October 2nd, 2013 6:45 AM

Oh darn I was hoping Spirtzee's would be a bit more plague doctor like. :( It's a bit odd, just an okay evolution. Swilix's is not what I expected either but it's still sort of cute. Perhaps these are only their first evolutions though, maybe there will be second ones that are better.

Yeah I do have to agree they don't look as good as some hoped. Especially Spritzee's.

I know there was a rumor floating around that Swirlix and Spritzee evolved with a Moon Stone, but I'm hoping that's not the case since these evos still won't have really impressive stats. I'm hoping they might pull another evolution and have 3 stage lines.

billyjoseph October 2nd, 2013 7:08 AM

The Spritzee evo is the best looking Fairy i've seen yet, besides Xerneas.

<3! I knew Y would be the right choice. More power to Team Fem(me), or whatever I'll call my lineup.

What's weird is that it's the first Pokemon I've ever really noticed since Generation 3. I mean, yeah I've looked at others but I never really saw them if you know what I mean. I'm really starting to think basing this game off of France was a good idea.

I feel a bit bad that I can't understand anyone else's disappointment, but then again, I'm apparently special. Ignoring all but the Pokemon-amie, the potential fashion/accesory thing and a Pokedex leak makes you that much more receptive of things as they come with no expections/setups/dreams being crushed. I either remain indifferent or I get pleasant surprises like this one. It's sort of a shallow approach, but you're never disappointed with what's new.

On the other hand, it's very much an in one ear, out the other way of taking in info.

Words cannot express my dismay for Swirlix's evo. Please have TWO evolutions!

I am hoping he has the same issue that Quilladin did, and looks better in the 3D model, but...it's a stretch.

However, I do like the spritzee evo. She's like a fluffly little owl.

Actor October 2nd, 2013 7:35 AM

They both look awful and look like they were designed by a toddler, but I never really liked either of them so no loss except for hope towards the fairy-type.

The spritzee evo looks like something out of boohbah. O_o

I remember that many wanted the Spritzee evo to look more like a flamingo or plague doctor but I guess their hopes got crushed. But still, I'm loving the pink and purple mix, I always love those two colors going together.

The Swirlix evo I may have to agree doesn't look very different from Swirlix itself, but I'm still hoping these two might get one more cool evo.

Tsutarja October 2nd, 2013 7:41 AM

I honestly don't mind the looks of these new evos at all.. after all, I can at least tell the resemblance they have to both Swirlix and Spritzee..

Colress Machine October 2nd, 2013 9:08 AM

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is disappointed by Spritzee's evolution. I was hoping for plague doctor as well. Regardless, I still like how he looks and I still really love Spritzee! I'm hoping he has another evolution that will look more plague doctor, though it's unlikely. Still plan on using him on my team too.
As for Swirlix, I never really got into him since I was blinded by my love for Spritzee. But, looking at the evo I think it's... weird. It looks pretty derpy in my opinion to be honest. Definitely not crazy about it.

Eevee October 2nd, 2013 9:11 AM

I definitely like Swirlix's evolution better but even then...I don't really like it too much. I suppose it'll grow on me overtime :P

lol at the Boohbah joke there. My childhood has been remembered.

But yeah, I do admit Swirlix's evo looks less appealing than Spritzee's. Spritzee's one definitely has more noticeable design changes than Swirlix's. Guess that confirms I may not use Swirlix as my Fairy-type and I might settle for Sylveon instead unless another new Fairy-type is revealed.

Bluerang1 October 2nd, 2013 9:45 AM

I like then, more Swirlix's though. Don't like the feminine look and Angelina Jolie leg of Spritzee's.

Perriechu October 2nd, 2013 10:40 AM

Swirlix's evo is an actual cupcake. People aren't excited by a cuPCAKE POKEMON????

It's so cute and I want it now. o3o

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire October 2nd, 2013 10:48 AM

Ah so there was a thread about them...phew. I thought everyone was ignoring them :(

Well I like Spritzee's evoluton...the Sweelix becoming a cupcake...not so much...

Triforce October 2nd, 2013 10:57 AM

I'm getting more excited about this game by the day and I'm not even keeping close attention to the new updates. Those Pokemon do look pretty cool but I'm still struggling to see myself taking much of an interest in Fairy type Pokemon.

Jigglymilk October 2nd, 2013 11:05 AM

OMG, I'm so glad these have been revealed!! I was leaning more towards X at first, but that Spritzee evo is perfection! I love how this gen has more feminine pokemon like her. By far my favorite fairy yet!

Oshamaru October 2nd, 2013 11:56 AM

Uhh...
I hope this is not it. I hope they have a third evo. Especially Swirlix. Well, Swirlix's isn't that bad, but Spritzee's looks weird to me. What do you think those evolutions are based on anyways?

Treecko October 2nd, 2013 11:59 AM

Now that some people mentioned Swirlix's evolution looking like a cupcake, I'm liking it more. Like if it really is based on a cupcake (somehow how cotton candy turns into a cupcake) then that's amusing. It's also pretty cute. Some are saying Spritzee's is based on a cabaret dancer, which goes with the French theme.

TreeKangaroo October 2nd, 2013 12:48 PM

At least the changes aren't THAT drastic compared to like remoraid and octillery.
