Wonder Trading

Wonder Trading! It's a new feature in Generation VI which lets you trade any Pokémon you'd like for a random Pokémon that someone else is offering. You could trade a Bidoof for a Palkia or a shiny Arceus for a Weedle - the possibilities are endless. Personally I love this new feature and I've found it to be really fun and a great way to get new IDs on my Pokémon collection, but what do you guys think of it? Do you use it often? What's the best thing you've received from a Wonder Trade? Do you tend to offer valuable Pokémon, or just put up rubbish filler Pokémon in hopes of getting a good return on them?

Kumo163 November 3rd, 2013 6:53 PM

I love wonder trade, I got a level 1 charmander the other day through it!
I really, really dislike the people who flood it with weedles though. I try to be a nice person with wonder trade. Normally, I trade out level 40+ pokemon =)

Absol November 3rd, 2013 10:17 PM

Oh my gosh Wonder Trade. I both hate it and love it. I've spent hours trading Eevees I've bred that I didn't want to keep and I've ended up with lots of neat stuff. I've gotten Pokemon with good egg moves and 3 or 4 31s in their IVs, different forms of Vivillions, version exclusives, etc. In my opinion, it's one of the best new features in this generation. :D

Melinda November 3rd, 2013 10:23 PM

Wonder Trade is great some times. Everyone pretty much spams it with their breeding spitbacks, which isn't too bad since other people can get decently IV'd mons they may not have. I'm afraid of it now though because of the bad egg situation I heard about. I won't be using it for a while until there's some kind of solution for it. :/

ShinyGlaceon November 4th, 2013 3:03 PM

When I first got Pokemon Y, I didn't know what the heck it was. I deposited my level 56 Gengar and got a level 1 Honedge.

ChaosCrystal November 4th, 2013 3:22 PM

Despite the flooding of useless pokemon i like wonder trade since i have gotten some pretty good pokes including some 31 IV's in 1, 2 or 3 stats and some rare or version exclusive pokes

Ohad1th November 6th, 2013 4:20 PM

Is it really glitched ? I have like 4 full boxes of 2-3 perfect IV gible,Froakie,Scyther,Honedge,Larvesta, etc.
I didnt' wonder trade for a few days I heard it's bugged and I might get hacked pokemon\bad egg

Cordelia November 6th, 2013 4:34 PM

I really hope no one trades me a Shiny Arceus! Because that means they hacked it ;; hahaha.

I love wonder trading omg <3 It's how I get rid of extra stuff I have and sometimes it's worth it.

I've not heard of any glitching like this, but it is possible there are still some kinks to be ironed out... I think it's more likely you're just getting incredibly lucky with the trades but who knows XD

Personally I love Wonder Trading, it's such an exciting thing to do. I usually try to be nice by offering some interesting Pokémon, but if I get traded something like a Bidoof or Pidgey then I'll instantly put that up for trade next until it returns as something more interesting. I don't like people spamming junk but I'm also not keen to accept junk so I'll trade them back if I get any. My coolest trade so far has been my shiny Weedle for a shiny Dugtrio - the chances of two shinies coming together like that were tiny but it was a very epic moment paha.

Melinda November 9th, 2013 12:05 AM

It's not glitches that give the bad eggs. Apparently it's from people that are editing Pokemon and then trading them over wonder trade. I still haven't done wonder trading again. Too scared.

TGmaerZXZ November 10th, 2013 2:10 AM

Wonder trade is awesome. I tend to give out Pokemon that I have hatched and that have pokerus.

RingoH November 10th, 2013 1:45 PM

I am loving WonderTrafe!

I throw out random Pokemon I have caught... I.e not evety loudy Bidoof I find, but a new Pokemon I meat every route. I am playing in German and hoping that people just appreciate the cool foreign language names.

I have gotten in return mostly level 1 egg hatched Pokemon which I am appreciative of. But the best grab was a nicknamed Gyrados, merely for its nickname being so creative... "Ragin Abe". Just for its name it has stayed in my party since.

Hikamaru November 11th, 2013 5:13 PM

I've heard all about the Wonder Trade craze on Tumblr lately, and the posts tend to get funny at times. When I get X and Y I might want to try this feature out for myself and see what all the rage is about. It seems like you can get almost anything out of this so no wonder it's being talked a lot.

Professor Adam November 17th, 2013 5:02 PM

I received a lv.5 blubasaur ,and a shiny bidoof the other day!

Lemmy66 November 19th, 2013 6:47 AM

Love it! Always trying to trade away Pokemons from the Friend safari, or level 40+ ones I already have!
Managed to trade my level 60 Venosaur for a level 75 Steelix, first "high level" trade I did and got a higher one back<3

Snoochey November 19th, 2013 7:07 AM

I love wonder trade! I traded off about 150 Charmanders and got easily 30+ added to my pokédex.

Chaos_Angel November 25th, 2013 10:08 AM

I LOVE wonder trading!!! I have taken it upon myself to clean it up though. Whenever I get low-leveled Pokemon or un-evolved one I always train them up before I send them back out into the world or I keep them to increase my odds for the Lotto. I also put out whatever I happen to be breeding. It's so cool when I send out a level 1 Charmander and get back an Arcanine.

Aeroblast November 25th, 2013 5:09 PM

I use it to get rid of the bottom of the barrel breeding rejects. I haven't gotten anything good from it so far, and since I learned how to use GTS "properly," I haven't done any wonder trading since.

Feunard November 25th, 2013 5:19 PM

I love Wonder Trade but it's annoying getting fletching, charmanders and froakies every other time I trade. At first with charmander and froakie I was excited. I didn't pick the water starter so it felt great to have it but then I started getting boxes of them and just got annoyed. Right now I'm sending out 3-5 perfect IV'd vulpix. Some of them have drought. They're my breeding rejects.

Mp3beast November 25th, 2013 5:25 PM

I usually send out Gravelers, because the back when I first started using wondertrade, I got a Pumpkinbo(?) and it evolved. I was so happy, I wanted to send out a bunch of evolve-trade Pokemon too, so yay for good trades! (P.S. They're always at least level 40, we all hate those Fletchling/Bidoof/whatever people)

PKMNtrainer X November 30th, 2013 2:10 AM

I love wonder trade, got a lot of charmanders and fennekins. All lv1. completed the game and trained them to lv36, fully evolved. Gonna be wondertrading a few charizards away in a few minutes, so if anyone wants one ;)

Juno November 30th, 2013 2:42 AM

I'm currently trading out Gibles (and soon Axews), mostly gotten back other bred Pokemon. I did get a female Flareon earlier today, which was nice. :) I also like getting foreign Pokemon.

acrilycz December 7th, 2013 12:50 PM

I really like the wonder trade feature, it can really help new players to the game (like me lol). I came across a bagon and traded some guy an abra for it. in my opinion this is an awesome feature in the new generation :D

Llaemari December 7th, 2013 8:30 PM

I have been really enjoying Wonder Trade. I've gotten a lot of the typical Pokemon that no one really wants... But I've also traded for some really nice Pokemon.

I remember being really excited when I first started and someone traded a level 58 Druddigon. Wonder Trade was also how I got my first Ditto (It was a Japanese one, so I almost wet myself with excitement!).

Now, I always try to put in something at least a little fun. Lately, I've been working on a Shiny Goomy, so I do put a lot of my breeding rejects through Wonder Trade. I try to make sure they have Pokerus first.

WonderfulWhiscash December 8th, 2013 1:19 PM

I have 50 tyrunts from masuda method, but I'm a crazy hoarder!

ReginaNoctis December 10th, 2013 6:27 AM

I love Wonder Trade! Makes up for the lack of a Game Corner. :)

I tend to start with trading a starter or the like, usually with PokéRus, but if I receive rubbish in return I'll pass that on and keep doing so until I either get something neat, or just get tired of it.

iTeruri December 10th, 2013 6:41 AM

The correct way to Wonder Trade, imo, is to put breeding rejects on it, keep all things you can use yourself, put things you don't need but someone else might onto the Wonder Trade (for example a 3IV Pokémon you already have) and release all worthless Pokémon (level 3 Fletchling with Big Pecks).

I'm handing out L10 beedrills that know x-scissor... is that ok?

AuraKnight95 December 10th, 2013 11:47 PM

I've been really enjoying Wonder Trade! I've used it so many times at this point. xD I always trade any extra Pokemon I have from breeding, and it's always great when you get good Pokemon in return such as ones with 3/4 IVs or version exclusives! Once I'm done with a Wonder Trade session, I go around and check out all the Pokemon I got, deleting all the useless Pokemon or ones that I plain out don't need. :)

KaTomic★12 December 23rd, 2013 10:38 AM

Wonder tradings the best xD , all except when you get a bad poke back @[email protected] I never give out "worthless" pokes though :< at least i don't think their worthless.

Bidoof FTW December 23rd, 2013 5:30 PM

Wonder trading is so much fun! I love getting version exclusives and i was trading 3-4 IV breeding rejects on that stupid Zubat Swarm Day with Dookieshed, ughhh. I ended up with like 40 1-2 IV zubats.

Fastblade December 23rd, 2013 5:52 PM

I've received 3 Protean Froakies, one with perfect IVs and two with bred moves. Also got a Magician Fennekin, 5 Bulbasaurs, Speed Boost Whirlipede, and two Golems. I make it a daily activity to Wonder Trade.

bewbs December 24th, 2013 3:07 PM

I am so addicted to Wondertrade. But I've found it such a useful resource for dex filling and finding hidden ability pokemon and pokemon to breed.

ccnnmusic January 31st, 2014 4:03 PM

i love it it is like playing the slots

super addicting slots, like super super addicting

where you can put in a pokemon of lesser value and then boom youve got a xerneas

TakeshiKun February 1st, 2014 8:45 AM

Most of the time I wondertrade bankmons such as starters. The best thing I got was probably a 5 iv honedge. I haven't gotten anything too crazy from WT yet. The IDs are very useful and it fills the dex.

Stlcardinal50 February 2nd, 2014 9:45 AM

I've received a Shiny Slowpoke & 2x Perfect 5 IV (Jolly) Japanese Gible's of each gender. Not bad!

I wonder trade about 2 boxes filled with breeding leftovers on occasion then check the Pokemon for good IV's, Abilities & Egg Moves that I receive.

Mikazuki February 2nd, 2014 9:48 AM

I like WT! I swear the first one I ever did I got someone's Moltres. Since then nothing too spectacular all though I do often get high IV mons. I got a 5iv larvesta and a 5iv scyther back to back the other day!

Plumpyfoof February 25th, 2014 12:00 AM

So right now I'm sending out my Iron Fist Chimchar rejects. I just got a Drapion, but nothing else noteworthy.

Christopher February 25th, 2014 10:24 PM

Sent out 3 or so boxes of 4-5 IV Adamant Tech Scythers. Nothing real interesting at first catepies,fletchlings...the usual. Then in the last box I got a Nidoran female in a Safari ball (I like rare balls...giggity), a 5 IV Feebas with Egg moves in a Dive Ball. A ralts holding a pearl string, and a Shiny level 1 pidgey nicknamed "Devil bird" with Egg moves from Unova. So all in all not a bad set.

Master Kavar April 23rd, 2014 11:49 PM

hey that's an interesting question, glad you said that because i like that you get pokemiles with all the trading using online my most favorite is the wonder trade.wonder trade is awesome because you can get pokemiles and get unknown pokemon like a lv.5 squirtle or lv 10 fletchling ANYTHING, but u'd have to be lucky to something good for a weak pokemon so yeah i think thumbs up for wonder trade :-)

Chasetheflame May 9th, 2014 5:46 AM

I like Wonder Trade! Yesterday I got a shiny Ho-Oh from it.

Foamy96 May 9th, 2014 6:42 AM

I got a Jirachi through wonder trading, i only sent a lvl 1 Pidgey lol

Dreaches May 10th, 2014 10:01 AM

I got a Docile Simisage with Shadow Claw, Leech Seed, Vine Whip, and Power up Punch at level 50. Used it to solo the second half of the game and is now lv 70.

Caw May 12th, 2014 7:11 PM

Like the thread thought i'd add my two scents, Love the wonder trade, I'm working on my dex so anything to help me fill the blanks I have is dope. I've gotten alot of cool pokemon through it, started off by trading my charmander breeder rejects now I'm just cycling cool pokemon through it that ive gotten through it. Been on it for an hour and a half as of now (currently wt'ing) filled 20 p'dex slots.

NoraHarmonia May 15th, 2014 11:29 PM

Wonder Trade is evil! I got a frickin' Magikarp named "Haha!" For my Bible! Its what happens to all the Masudamethod rejects! I do NOT use WonderTrade anymore!

rawrie01 May 21st, 2014 10:28 AM

I was sending away 3 I.V. squitles the other day oddly enough 3 of them and I remember I was given a shiny haunter which I didn't notice till after the trades, a bulbasaur which was okayish and a weepingbell. The haunter evolved to gengar and has no perfect I.V. but it was worth while.

Mason69 May 22nd, 2014 4:02 PM

Haven't tried it yet, I keep thinking that I will probably get garbage or if it is something good it is a hack

DarkPoke001 May 22nd, 2014 4:05 PM

i've had a Porygon once, and nearly all my.starters came from Wondertrade, i have even sent off a Zekrom and a Moltres in wondertrade! (only to get Scatterbug in return >_<) although ONCE i ACTUALLY got a Bunnelby!!

Antmagic1 May 28th, 2014 11:38 PM

I love it! I feel bad though about it, because once I traded a level 3 pidgey (that I got from another wonder trade) for a level 66 shiny krookodile. Right now I am in the process of breeding ALOT of charmanders and trading them until I get a Chikorita.

ReeDim May 31st, 2014 9:04 AM

I love Wonder Trade. I tried to breed a shiny Zorua through the Masuda Method, but after about 500 hatched eggs with no luck, I got bored. I had boxes and boxes of Zorua, and I often Wonder Trade those away. I've got a few cool things back in the past.

Mason69 May 31st, 2014 9:17 AM

Yeah, I've been trying to get a shiny through masuda too and decided to wonder trade some surplus and got a lot of hidden abilities and egg moves!! Wonderful!!!

shayminskyforme88 June 2nd, 2014 2:09 AM

I usually trade my breeding leftovers. Sometimes, I do get good stuff from there. I once got a Squirtle with Egg Moves. Also got a HA Treecko.

Belldandy June 19th, 2014 5:31 PM

Currently WT'ing 5IV+4EM Pokemon (most in Rare Balls and with HAs). Also WT'ing females in Rare Balls without IVs and EMs. Getting junk in return of curse lol I usually get one decent Pokemon (Egg Moves) per 30 WT'd.

Cyclone June 21st, 2014 7:59 AM

Strange that we have two active Wonder Trading threads on different forums...

Anyway, I got a Charmander yesterday. It knows four Egg Moves, is female (well boo that, can't share the moves now unless I get another male with them), and arrived at Lv.23. Definitely a unique specimen. I for one bow to our Japanese PokéLords who come up with some of this stuff.

I thought as of gen 6, the mother can pass on egg moves too? There is a section about it on serebii and I'm pretty sure I have done it.

Apparently I missed the memo. Females just became even more valuable, I guess!

Ghost Lunis June 24th, 2014 9:22 AM

Indeed they did. It seems like GF tried to make breeding a whole lot easier in gen 6 so as to make so much hacking rather pointless and pathetic. Lol go GF!

I for one detest our Gamefreak PokéLords for making existing hacks suddenly valid. I mean, let us recognize hacks, darnit!

Well, I guess anything from Gen. V or earlier will still be recognized as the hack it is. La meh.

Terribly hacked pokemon are still easy to spot. But without the aid of pokecheck, hack checking has become increasingly difficult. Fortunately, generation 6 hacks are scarce. Powersaves aren't as common as AR and access to pokegen was in previous generations.

Ghost Lunis June 24th, 2014 3:03 PM

Plus it wasn't game freaks fault for pokecheck going down. Plus I've been drinking so what do you mean the hacks are suddenly valid? They did their best in tournament play with only Pokemon with the pentagon legal. That's helps make a lot if hacks invalid:)

Cyclone June 24th, 2014 7:13 PM

All right, I don't do the competitive thing, so I'll give you that as far as that goes.

Just wait until Power Saves gets more circulation. I'm getting one, in fact (it's shipped), but not to hack for competitive or anything else; the only purpose will be for cloning once I figure it out. And maybe getting some exact IVs instead of "This Pokémon has fantastic stats". If there's a code for that. Even with the Action Replay for the DS, to this day I have not created any Pokémon from scratch (like Mewtwo's creation in the anime, if you will).

Ghost Lunis June 25th, 2014 12:39 AM

I would like a powersaves just for those reasons as well but I've heard of a few bad things about file corruption and blocking access to the bank and stuff like that so I am iffy on one:/

Well, remember the Bad Eggs on Wonder Trade? I'm worried if what you said is just rumours to keep would-be cheaters from using it. I'll have to properly research this. I don't think usage of a device would actually save to the card, or it would be designed to not save that fact, but who knows? I've also seen reports of game cartridges being ruined, so who knows WHAT to believe.

Wonder Trade would surely block out hacks, but blocking you from Bank completely should not happen. You're paying for the service.

You have a link to that? I can't imagine the system saying, "You used illegal hardware; you no longer get service you pay for!" I mean, that is opening themselves up to a class-action lawsuit. Just continue to block anything that is a clear hack, including something created in Gen. VI, from the Bank. If they cut you off after having a hack on your system, that could happen from RECEIVING a hack and not from using the hardware itself. Nintendo's just opening itself up to trouble by doing that.

It was several pages worth in one of the trade corner chit chat threads. He was trying to clone with the system and something went screwy and blocked his access to pokebank and he lost I think maybe two events. I'm sure most of us trade corner regulars remember it as we were all trying to help him figure it out to no avail. Sorry I don't remember which ppages it was in:/

I contacted him to ask. I'm guessing it was something stupid and not simply the fact that he used it. People use save data backups to clone all the time from my understanding. Kinda like system restore.

Now it's tempting to create another box of something holding an evolution item and cloning them.

Back on Wonder Trade, I an helping someone with graphing data. Hilarious thing I did not plan on: we've blotted 719 pieces of data. Figure that out.

Oh XD that makes perfect since now after seeing that. I am way too tired and distracted by work today.

That's impressive to have traded 719 pokemon.

Give him the kudos. 546 at the time I reformatted the information into another format. Took a while to jot down the numbers.

I actually lost one piece of data (no idea how, I had groups of six, must have pasted over one in error), so I had 143 among the number.

Hiatus June 28th, 2014 5:47 PM

I haven't done any wonder-trading at all this month, since my wi-fi isn't working, unfortunately. Last time I had done it, though I think I wound up receiving some Talonflame. Its IVs aren't that great, and nor does it have good nature, so I'm going to put it back into the system later on. Before that, I believe I managed to get a Pidgey, while trading Caterpie away. I've yet to look into this Pokémon, so I have no idea what moves it knows, what its EVs and IVs are, etc.

Most surprising thing that I have ever gotten from here would probably have to be Breloom. So, why was it surprising? It had a competitive moveset, all ready to be put into your team. I'm not exactly sure why anyone would be willing to give that away, unless, of course, it's a clone, haha. Clones are not bad at all, though.

Cyclone June 30th, 2014 3:03 PM

So I was just innocently Wonder Trading all of the Sneasel I don't need (three boxes or so). The final trade of the session turned out to be a foreign female Espurr.

It's a 6IV Espurr.

Not that it's anything special for battle overall, but for Shiny hunting, this will be a leader.

Esoj July 1st, 2014 1:04 PM

I did WT yesterday to release some breeding leftovers and someone released out the Tower of Mastery Lucario, but the date it was met is 10/2/2011....strange and funny XD

Belldandy July 7th, 2014 6:32 PM

Just WT'd five boxes of Pokemon. Took me a good three hours :(

A full box of 4-5IV 4EM Fennekin with/without HA.

And everything else, 4IV breedjects with 4EMS, a lot of Rare Balls i.e. Safari Ball Zangoose, Dream Ball HA Poochyena, etc.

I got maybe three Pokemon out of the 150 I WT'd that actually might assist me later. Sad.

Released a box of 5 perfect iv defog Scyther as well as 7 legendaries (trophy). Got nothing of note :(

A full box of 4-5IV 4EM Fennekin with/without HA.

I'd look closer at Kiloude. You might find some 5IVs among them. I have a good amount of the Dex now, so I agree, there's not much coming through that I actually need or couldn't breed, but I tend to keep stuff with Egg Moves or Hidden Abilities and finally started deleting some of the most common ones today. I still have a line of international Froakie with different setups, however, but 4/5 Bunnelby have been let go.

Also, what's the info on the Fennekin? If I don't have the setup, I might be interested.

Wonder trade is the best because it gave me a shiny foongus, treecko, and other sweet pokemon for my team and I repay people by breeding pokemon and trading pokemon that evolve through trading, that gift that keeps on giving.

I don't care about IVs lol if there are no EMs, B2W2 Move Tutor Sets (male-only), Special Ball, or Shiny, they get released. IVs are a 30min job.

That said,

I have twenty-four flawless 5IV4EM (Dream Ball) HA/non-HA Buneary and five 6IVs looking for my shiny. None yet, but I'm WT'ing four boxes of flawed 5IV4EMs of various genders and abilities. Hopefully someone likes 'em :P

Takes so long to WT, though.

I have a different opinion. If I can get a different OT, or especially a foreign, with 5IVs, it's more valuable to me than any 5IV I already have. If it's foreign, breeding that 5IV (male, let's say) with ANY compatible mate at 5IVs gives great breeding chances. If it's a female and something I want a Shiny of, same idea.

Yeah, maybe lol I just don't want to bother with the box space.

I already have eight 6IV Dittos and the Oval/Shiny Charm. I get eggs a lot with just the "they get along" thing, so it's really not a big deal if I'm breeding and I have, say, Froakie and a male Froakie 5IV from someone else. I get enough eggs without that scenario.

To each their own, though :P I release 98% of what I get in return on WT, since re-WT'ing is against my "minimum 4IV4EM, or Rare Ball female" code.

I have released a lot more today than in the past, and think it's time to start going through the 20 boxes or so I've set aside in my Bank for "maybes". I still have three miscellaneous boxes I haven't gone through. I put my Fly Pikachu in there; I better not lose that one (though I can clone another from Gen. V).

MiamiDolphins July 26th, 2014 3:44 PM

I got a Cobalion the other day!

AzureSparkz July 26th, 2014 3:59 PM

Honestly wonder trading is really irritating (common beginning pokemon all the time although I did score a Ho-Oh in one. Recently I've been taking all the stupid caterpies and weedles and evolving them and giving them decent tm and sending then back out.(Hopeing people just starting the game get them)

jokerslayer July 27th, 2014 5:57 PM

If not for people spamming crap on WT, it is a really fun system.
Then again, the people who sent out bellsprouts may be kids, and not knowing anything about breeding and such

Sharpshooting August 8th, 2014 5:08 AM

Had no clue what it was at first and I deposited my 53 Lucario and got a WEEDLE!! It's all good after awhile I learned to love it. I got 2 different types of Rotom and a Phione.

Akira Ichikawa August 8th, 2014 12:33 PM

WT can be pretty great. I've had good days and bad days. Like yesterday I received a shiny Lickitung. I've also gotten a shiny Poliwag(lvl.1) and many high IV Pokemon. I'm not a competitive battler, but they're nice to have and fun to train. ^__^

It's always better to send out Pokemon that have good egg moves or high IVs though. I've even sent out a few shinies myself, although it makes me a little sad whenever the person I just sent it to's message says they want to trade something for the Pokemon I just WT'd them. Oh well. I sent it off, so I can't complain really. As long as someone is happy with what they receive, that's all that matters.

Sydian August 8th, 2014 8:30 PM

I love WT. Sometimes I just sit and trade on it for hours just because it's fun. One of my best Wonder Trades was an Yveltal (I already had one) that I used to net some legendaries for Dex entries back when we didn't have Bank in America. My other good one was a shiny Corsola I got on the great shiny escapade of February 6th lol. I got six shinies that day and Corsola was the only one I got that wasn't legendary. Lady luck was on my side.

Ghost Lunis August 9th, 2014 4:50 PM

Wonder trading off some extra shiny legendaries as I type this

GregTheSloth August 9th, 2014 11:43 PM

So far I got a French Mewtwo(I traded my Yamask leftovers and now I have 2 Mewtwo's), Korean Cresselia(For a Luvdisc, I know, forgive me ._.), Japanese Phione(For Eevee leftovers), and a Shiny Plusle(I had it way early when I got my game lastmonth, but I just realized it was shiny a few days ago lol). The rest of the trades were mostly charmander leftovers... so many charmanders....

Mikhowl September 2nd, 2014 5:17 AM

It would be soo nice if you could wonder trade off more than one pokemon at a time.

MarcEddy September 14th, 2014 1:36 PM

I like sending out Gravlers and Kadabras

Kyora September 16th, 2014 9:24 AM

I just got a LOT of good Pokémon, Wonder Trading my Riolu Breedjects. Including almost exactly what I just asked for from someone on here, A Female 5IV Impish Moon Ball Ralts! I AM SO HAPPY.
Also a perfect Buneary, 5IV Female Gastly, a 4IV HA Aerodactyl in a Nest Ball, a near-perfect Vullaby, and a Scatterbug(Not shiny) named 2nd Shiny. xD

destinedjagold September 18th, 2014 8:59 PM

while WT loveball Mareep leftovers from my breeding project earlier today, i got two shinies in a row: a shiny Jap. Latios and a shiny Marril. o.o

w00t!

Ancientforest September 19th, 2014 5:02 AM

Past 3-4 days have been terrible wonder trading. Traded 4 boxes of 4-5 iv pokes, the best I got was a 5 iv pokabu and a 5 iv shellder, and there was a hacked giratina in there somewhere.

Maybe things will turn around over the weekend

Arcius September 28th, 2014 4:38 AM

It's so entertaining, imo. Like, I toss in a random pokemon(Torchic, charamander, froakie, things like that), or something I've caught, and I end up in a cycle of trading until I find something that I haven't seen and like the stats of, really.
I remember when I first started using wonder trade, I kept getting like charamander, bulbasour, and other little starters and was like "HOLY MOTHER OF ****, what is this even, i am in love with you, amg" xD

I've gotten a few of my current pokemon I use in my team from it, and they have to be my favourite, such as my Dieno(who has since evolved,), Abomasnow(who is spanish lel), Houndoom and Carracosta(Tortuga before hand, but I worked my butt off to evolve the frigger).

I love it, and generally try my best to throw something nice in, as much as I can, seeing as I do a lot of breeding of starters, mostly in search of a shiny xD

DrimerDS September 28th, 2014 1:57 PM

i only get pokémon like Magicarp an Bidoof in Wonder Trade :(

HollyYoshi September 28th, 2014 3:48 PM

I think Wonder Trading is really cool. Yes you get a lot of 'meh' Pokemon (like those two Magikarp I got today. >_>), but sometimes you get some real gems.

Now if only I could get a Growlithe ...

Edit: Nevermind~ I got the Growlithe I wanted! As long with an Eevee. So that's pretty cool.
