Hello there!
Hello, how are you?
i love playing Pokemon since the first Generation. But in the last Generation, with that much Pokemon, and even a new Type i figured it is really hard to memorize all the Pokemon types, and how to counter them. i also figured it could be hard for someone, who is new to the Pokemon world. so i asked a friend of mine, if he wants to develop an easy to use reference Android App with me. he agreed, and this week we finished the first publishable version. https://lh3.ggpht.com/5tttVP-6HCfOlNmkopfvBDGwJWbCAJRZIKfwMRj4TH4LdpTuYTNXemVn7aLhyurt8Q=h450-rw and i hope i have a good time on this forum - it looks really nice greez Xaw4 (PS: i couldnt find a section where i could post this information to - if there is one, i will edit this post, and put it there ;) ) |
Welcome to the forum! I am doing well and I hope you are too. I think it's really cool that you are working on an Android App, It will definitely help many newcomers (and probably me as well since my last game I played was Emerald). Hope you enjoy your time on the forums, see ya around.

thank you, if you want to try it out its called "PokeCounter" and available on the Play Store - feedback is very much appreciated ;)

Welcome to the forums, buddy! That app is a great idea, nice work! Will definitely check it out.
Have a nice time here, hope to catch you around! |
Hi, I'm good, thanks! I hope you're doing well yourself! Hm, yeah, I do agree that pokemon has even more stuff to learn with all these new pokemon, and the fairy type to boot, but hey, I think it's fun learning about all these new things, and come up with new strategies for pokemon!
I don't have an android, but, kudos and really nice job on creating an App! I hope it wasn't too tough. :3 Anyways, I'm very sure you'll have a really fun time during your stay in this forum! I'm always open to talk with you if you want, and I can help you out if you need it too! Have an amazing day, and hope to see you around! |
the 2 hardest things were getting the sprites for X and Y, and implementing the different versions/generations of pokemon
|
That sounds pretty amazing; congrats on completing it. I'm sure it'd help a lot of people out. :) I'm still forgetting about the changes made to the steel type so I need to catch up and learn all of these new things myself aha. Welcome to the forum and all that, yes!
So you've been playing since the first generation; that's pretty great, a good chunk of us here have played for that long as well. I myself started with Red and Blue back in 1998 and Pokemon's been an addiction ever since. X and Y have really made the franchise much stronger, though, and I'm hoping future games turn out to be just as good. There are still some things that could be improved in these games so there certainly is a lot to hope for and look forward to. Cheers and have an amazing time here, Xaw! |
