Flip side for me. I prefer walking around my neighborhood than walking on a treadmill. The air is usually cooler and you get some nice sightseeing

@Zach It's always going to be easier on a treadmill, you don't have that kind of concrete impact hitting your foot every step and so it'll make you less tired and pained. Personally I don't know what to think of it - is it helping you burn more calories by allowing you to run further or does it even out because there's no impact? I think a treadmill is a very good place to start, but it's always fun and more challenging to take it out on the sidewalks after you've reached a certain level on the machine. |

I hate everyone with good metabolisms.
I run about 1-2 miles every morning and I just about maintain weight. The annoying thing is, I want to put weight on but running is such a part of my routine that I can't get up without going for a run in the morning. 'just eat more' doesn't really work too, I have a pathetic appetite. Quote:
