The coolest Legendary in my Eyes is Dialga:-

Definatley Dialga. Diamond was the first genIV game I played and my friend had Pearl. He once said "Why did you get Diamond? You know Palkia's better than Dialga right?" So I said "Ok then, we'll battle 1 on 1." His Spacial Rend does less than half my Dialga's HP while I hit him with a Roar of Time and he goes down immediatley. Neither of us actually knew much about either legendary back then sice the games were brand new, so we didn't know each others type or special moves or anything so he thought his Spacial Rend would be super effective.

Probably Giratina because of its downside world and type. Also its design.
Giratina.
For one, Ghost/Dragon. Amazing typing to me, it's innovative. Spooky scales ftw. Its design's new, being some creepy centipede thingy with wings and horns and such, with Origin forme has a more serpentine body, with the wings becoming claw thingies. |
Giratina. Seriously, I really like its design.
For Some reason My Favourite Legendary of 4th Gen is Lugia!
Girantina (Origin Form)because it looks
awesome |
I like Darkrai and Cresselia.
I also like Raikou and Suicune. |

Any particular reason why you like this bunch? Is it because of their appearance, battle capability, move pool etc? |
Design-wise i love how Dialga looks, since its not your standart dragon look. Idea-wise i love both Giratina since he is a GHOST Dragon that reign over the dark world, and darkrai, who embodies nightmares.

The best designed Legendary Pokemon from Generation 4 is Giratina Origin Forme. Don't get me wrong, the Altered Forme still looks great, but I like the Origin Forme better. It looks like a darker Pokemon, which is what I like about it. It also has some nice color selections going on, and the model of it looks great. The second best designed Legendary from Generation 4 is Cresselia. It looks magnificent and very majestic. I can't tell what it looks like, but it's pretty darn cute.
In battles, Arceus is one of my favorites to use. It's stats are so balanced and they are not bad stats either. The moves that it learns could be better, but when you teach it some TMs, it will be your best friend. It can learn a lot of TMs so that makes up for it not learning a lot of moves from levelling up. The Multitype ability can be pretty handy as well, since you can change its type when you make it hold a certain plate. Judgement, a move Arceus can learn, also changes type depending on the plate it holds which means it gets STAB. |
Palkia and Dialga are my favourites <3 I love their designs and I love their typings aswell :3
My favorite Gen 4 legendary is Palkia. I like the design, its cry in the anime is amazingly cool and it's very good in battles too.
Darkrai because it has an badass design and has an cool ability
When it comes the Legendary Pokemon that were introduced in the fourth gen, these ones are my favorites:
Dialga - It has the power to control time which is awesome Giratina - I like the fact that it has more than one forme Darkrai - The fact it can create nightmares can make it useful for dealing with enemies Regigigas - It is the trio master of the Regis, so it is awesome |
To be honest... I do like the 4th gen Trio mascots (Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina) and Arceus. I really can't decide on which one I want to choose but I guess I'll go with Arceus.
I'm gunna be going with Manaphy for this one. Its so adorable! <33
I really like Cresselia the best. Shaymin is adorable too. I'm not a huge fan of Sinnoh legendaries though.
Drakei His Design, is really Awesome!
In HGSS, my favorite is Raikou, without a doubt. One of the best designed legends, in my opinion! Now, in DPPT, I really like Darkrai the most. It has a cool, sinister design fitting a Dark type/boogieman-looking Pokemon, and it's incredibly powerful and fast. And Dark Void is one of the coolest sounding attacks too, haha.
I'd say Giratina's Origin forme if this is limited to just the actual Sinnoh games. It's just kinda got this gothic feel to it that sets it apart from a lot of other legendary Pokemon. Plus it has an amazing shiny pallet!
Dunno if it had to do with me starting 4th gen with Platinum, but I liked Giratina from the start, especially the origin forme. I rarely use legendaries on my team, but I liked it enough to catch it and do just that. I always name it "Juice". Being a legendary, it was naturally pretty good in battle, and I liked its signature move because, while it was two-turn, it worked well against protect-spammers with the right amount of prediction. I still have a "Juice" on X and usually use it if ubers/legends are allowed.
Giratina and Lugia. Lugia will always be in my top 5 and who doesn't think Giratina is awesome?
Gotta be Azelf. Dialga was the main reason I chose Diamond over Pearl, but only because I preferred it to Palkia, not because I necessarily liked it. The only one of the legendary I made an effort to catch was Azelf, and I never regretted it. A brief run in OU, and for good reason; Azelf as an extremely efficient utility Pokemon.

It's wide variety of moves and high special attack gives it a great advantage :D |
