I complete forgot about fire/dragon type :(
I'd absolutely love to see more fire/dragon ...two of my fave types together <33

Fernbutter January 11th, 2014 12:14 AM

What type would you like to see paired with Fire-type?

Dragon, I don't know it's just really cool, and would really like to see more of that.
Second would be Ghost, not much of that I believe.

Wicked3DS January 11th, 2014 6:52 AM

All this Dragon talk makes me think that Megazard X wasn't enough to satisfy those calling for Fire/Dragon :P

Chandelure is the only Ghost/Fire-type out there. I'd like to see another one someday.

Avishka January 11th, 2014 7:09 AM

nope Mega Charizard X is not enough....i want to see more fire/dragon. :p

another fire/ghost would be nice.

BadPokemon January 11th, 2014 7:21 AM

I agree, fire/ghost is another cool typing. It could look like a horse. It's counterpart could be fire/fairy in a different game. (Kind of like Sawk and Throh, but different typing). It could look like a unicorn.

Wicked3DS January 11th, 2014 8:04 AM

I don't know about a horse. We already have Ponyta and Rapidash so it would basically just be a Ghost version of them.

Venitardus January 11th, 2014 9:00 AM

We have reshiram as fire/dragon too. Even though I love charizard X, I wouldn't mind seeing another non-legend (and non-mega) fire/dragon.

And also seeing another ghost/fire would be nice. I don't know about a horse, but deffinetlu another ghost/fire would be nice in the future.

Kikaito plush January 11th, 2014 9:10 AM

Two Dragon/fire pokemon is enough if you ask me as we don't want it to become OTT which this typing. yes a another fire/ghost would be awesome as we only have 1.

Hikamaru January 11th, 2014 12:28 PM

What type would you like to see paired with Fire-type?

I'd like to see Fire paired with Fairy. We've had the other two starter types paired with Fairy (Azumarill for Water, and Whimsicott for Grass) so yeah I'd like to see how they'd pull off a fiery fairy and given the Fairy-types we have so far it shows they have some good potential for one design-wise.

Dragon_Trainer_ January 11th, 2014 8:38 PM

Well Fire/Dragon is a very great combination and is usually exhibited by many Pokemon even though they don't show the type.......... Many Pokemon like Charizard can use the moves Dragon pulse, Dragon rage, etc. but they aren't Dragon types.......

Fire/Ghost types are cool too............. Anyone else being reminded of Ghost Rider by that?

I wasn't thinking of ghost rider what so ever until you mentioned that. Haha.

Wow. They should make a Ghost/Fire Pokémon that's like a fiery skeleton or something like that. That could turn out pretty cool.

Are we talking about fossils coming back to life now? OMG help! A fossil is running and it is on fire! type thing? xD

Avishka January 12th, 2014 2:32 AM

lol but a dinosaur like ghost/fire pokemon will be awesome xD

Wicked3DS January 12th, 2014 6:21 AM

Running from fiery fossils, eh? That would make for an interesting plot twist. But a dinosaur skeleton is definitely an interesting proposal for sure.

BadPokemon January 12th, 2014 7:35 AM

That is what I was thinking...a horse skeleton with flames. I almost mentioned ghost rider. A dinosaur with flames? Cool stuff. What kind of dinosaur?

Dragon_Trainer_ January 13th, 2014 3:37 AM

Well I don't know........... It could be any type........... I'd like it to transform like it did in Ghost Rider or in Digimion, from Agumon to Skull Greymon..............

How about we go into a multitype with Fire/Electric ad Fire/Fairy........... Do any pokemon under both of these categories exist? O.o

Avishka January 13th, 2014 6:47 AM

how about T-rex or some other huge dinosaur?
I want it to be huge and badass scary :p

Kikaito plush January 13th, 2014 7:22 AM

That's a pretty fantastic idea. A lot of things you could do with that.

Aslan January 13th, 2014 11:33 PM

Name: Aslan

Pick two Fire-type Partner Pokémon: Arcanine and Houndoom

Reason(s) for liking Fire types:

Fire types are arguably one of the best types out there. With flashy moves, high attack, not much defense and good designs. Plus consider this. Which one would you rather use? Fire-breathing dragon or a rock with fists? I've always enjoyed playing with fire, even outside of Pokemon. (*cough* Annie and Tibbers *cough*) But that's off topic so yeah, let's move on shall we? D;

What type would you like to see paired with Fire-type?

I'd love to see fire/water. If complete opposites such as water/electric can be created why not fire/water? I mean the only thing I can imagine right now is a steaming kettle that shoots fireballs but it'd be fascinating at the very least. I'm also surprised fire/dragon hasn't been created yet. In mythology, most dragons breathe fire. And 6 generations later, we've had hydras, cute postman dragons, slimy ones, all sorts. But no fire breathing ones. C'mon Gamefreak, give us something great. Other than the fire/dragon duo, I'd say fire/poison as well. It'd be an interesting combo combining two deadly things, don't you think?

I agree that's a great combination but would it actually exist? They are two contrasting types and the existence would be quite rare................

Love you man! Just love you! The Fire/Dragon combination is most anticipated one in the history of Game freak! I'd love to own a 20 foot tall fire breather! Even if it was a villain! Welcome to the club and great thinking bro!

Fernbutter January 14th, 2014 3:17 AM

Hmm there seems to be a lot of feed back from Fire/Ghost, but seriously there really is only one. C'mon Gamefreak! Step it up!

I find it hard though to think of one, I mean, Fire/Ghost sounds positively amazing, and I would love to see more of that, but I guess it is kinda hard for them to just think something up like that -^-

How about you guys, if you were going to make a Fire/Ghost, what would it look like?

So since we're still on the topic of what do we want to see paired with fire, I found a few pics. The one above is obviously fan made.
