Mega Evolutions: The battle of beauty!

I didn't see a thread about our most beautiful looking mega evolutions so why not start one? Which one out of these beautiful looking mega evolutions do you find to be the most beautiful looking out of all the five of them and why?

1. Mega Ampharos

I can't decide. I like all of their designs a lot. I'll think about it more.

Nah January 4th, 2014 6:08 AM

This one's easy for me: Mega Gardevoir.

JeremyGray35 January 4th, 2014 8:12 AM

Absol. A great pokemon with a great evolution.

Flushed January 4th, 2014 9:18 AM

Gardevoir's mega has such an elegant shiny, despite it reminding like a funeral dress.

Kikaito plush January 4th, 2014 9:56 AM

Mega Absol for this one please.

Mega Absol for the win! Its wings and everything are just...FAB! <3

Hiatus January 4th, 2014 2:58 PM

Mega Absol looks pretty beautiful, in my opinion. The way that its hair cover one of its eyes make it look quite epic. Mega Gardevoir has a nice-looking design as well, and so does Mega Ampharos. (:

Also, just so you know, I'm moving your thread over to Pokémon Voting Polls.

Moved.

Brendino January 4th, 2014 3:01 PM

I'll have to vote for Mega Gardevoir here. Mega Absol and Mega Mawile definitely have both a beautiful and evil look to them, which make for really great designs as well.

Sniper January 4th, 2014 3:08 PM

All of there designs are beautiful indeed. Mega Gardevoir & Mega Absol as well. But I think Mega Absol is more better. As said from above, that wings <3

Ranx January 5th, 2014 3:25 AM

Well those pokemon aren't ''beautiful'' they are ''cool.'' :D

Not sure beautiful is how I would describe Mega Mawile, but it is the mega design that appeals most to me out of the ones listed. Mega Absol is probably the most beautiful per se though. From being like a grim reaper or bad luck omen, it gains wings and becomes something of a dark angel. Just the concept alone is beautiful :3

Starry Windy January 6th, 2014 5:15 AM

I like Mega Absol the most, even though I like Mega Ampharos as well.

Chocolate™ January 6th, 2014 5:50 AM

Well here's what i think of each of them:

1. Mega Ampharos: This thing looks like a clueless princess with red berries on her tail.

2. Mega Absol: I like the design a lot. It looks so mysterious and cool. I voted for this one.

3. Mega Medicham: Too weird, please.

4. Mega Mawile: Once again like Absol. Creepy and cool. Second place by a cool margin.

5. Mega Gardevoir: I like it a lot a but I don't like the elegant bit too much. By far, my third favorite in this list.

WishCookie January 7th, 2014 6:07 AM

How could anyone hate on Medicham tho? Its a beautiful Indian prince/princess! :D

KorpiklaaniVodka January 8th, 2014 11:37 PM

The most beautiful is actually Mega Heracross.

Out of this poll I'll go with Mega Absol

Hikamaru January 12th, 2014 3:51 AM

I voted for Mawile, I just love the pink accents it gains in its Mega form, and I just love those dual jaws that make it menacing yet pretty cool. Gardevoir and Ampharos comes close with their big dress and the hair respectively. No wonder I liked using them from time to time.

Palkia January 12th, 2014 4:30 AM

Mega Mawile is the only one who actually has a good design, looking like a natural progression from Mawile. All the other ones look ugly.

Golden Warrior January 12th, 2014 5:23 AM

MegaGardevoir takes the cake here. Amphoros and Absol are close but I see them as more of a "FABULOUS!" thing. XD

Entermaid January 13th, 2014 5:45 PM

Well, Gardevoir and Absol are definitely the most beautiful.

The fallen angel wings elevated absol's aesthetic appeal, however, the shortfall is the alterations of the head design. It is not awful, rather, it is unnecessary and detracts a bit of the beauty granted by the wings. The original scythe on the head was sleek and elegant; if that part of the design remained unchanged, or less changed, the mega evolution could have been far more regal.

Gardevoir's original designs involves modern dance. The asemetrical hair and simple flowing dress are abosolutely beautiful. However, the mega evolution elevates her beauty with a classical Victorian design. Essentially, the transformation would be the equivelent of a background ballerina being designated the prima ballerina, or principal dancer of a production-the star of the show.

I have to go with Gardevoir on this one.

fenyx4 January 14th, 2014 7:33 PM

At least I can vote properly in this poll! (too many conflicting choices in the other thread :P) My vote goes to Mega Absol, as it looks the most elegant and fierce, yet doesn't mess with the original design too much. I thought regular Absol's design was just fine during the initial Mega Evolution craze, but nowadays, it just seem so...bare/naked/skinny? compared to Mega Absol. XD

Mega Mawile looks more menacing than beautiful to me... Mega Ampharos is only "beautiful" IMO because of its fabulous hair; it doesn't really strike me otherwise as it's the rather plain "Ampharos with a wig".. XD Mega Gardevoir is just "there" IMO, but at least it doesn't mess with the original design too much. All of these Mega Evolutions are pleasant IMO.

Now for Mega Medicham...the cap thing is sort of cool, but the "midriff" and legs are just...wha..? (I envision Medicham more as male, and I'm more accustomed to female Indian belly dancers, so the design clashes somewhat for me... Although in terms of Indian princes/princesses, I guess the design could work for either gender of Medicham). Medicham's not exactly beautiful, but...radiates exotic strength, I would say? It's hard to describe properly. :x Medicham's design looks a bit ugly yet rather cool at the same time... >_>

Boilurn January 14th, 2014 7:54 PM

Mega Absol by a long shot. Some of the others were considered ugly (especially Mawile and Medicham) but Absol's design looks more original that any other. The black wings, larger spikes and the saw-like tail look cool.

PlatinumDude January 14th, 2014 7:55 PM

Going with Mega Gardevoir, though I was originally going to say Ampharos. But then again, I'm kind of biased towards Gardevoir, since it served me well in Sapphire and Emerald.

Ghost Lunis January 17th, 2014 11:18 AM

I chose gardevoire simply based on her shiny mega form. That thing is nuts.
