Haven't seen old mecha shows for a while. Those used to be quite fun to watch as a kid.

Pokestick, good times. April 11th, 2014 6:35 AM

Now, the eternal question.

Should I continue watching Nisekoi?

Netto Azure April 11th, 2014 6:53 AM

Haven't picked it up so IDK.

Although after such a long time TWGOK is ending. Such a great series but alas it does leave some threads unanswered. Though Chichiro route confirmed omg.

Weeaboo Name April 11th, 2014 7:02 AM

Nisekoi is ok. Do it if you don't have anything better to watch.

Pokestick, good times. April 11th, 2014 7:11 AM

I'll watch the recent episodes and see if I like the new girl, I guess.

Oh right, gotta catch up on TWGOK. Haven't read that stuff since June last year.

So, I just finished the painting episode (ep 9). I can see why Lappy dropped it after this.

I do hope it doesn't go the way I think it might go in the next few episodes.

Phazon Elemental April 11th, 2014 8:02 AM

I haven't seen Nisekoi, but it didn't look interesting. Actually, prior to this season, the last season that I watched anything during was... Summer 2013. I had to actually go check my MAL to be sure of that.

Can you even give a good synopsis of Gintama?

I'm planning on watching most of the 80s mecha and of course every single Tomino crap, because his ♥♥♥♥ is glorious, especially his comedy. So I had my eye on Vifam.

I can be kinda slow when it comes to watching anime, as my time management is horrible. I've been dragging Samurai Flamenco and Dororon Enma-Kun MeraMera for a while now. Enma-kun is f-in gold. One of the few shows that did Go Nagai justice. But sadly, only old school watchers can get the most out of it. Even Wacky Races made it. The only show I'm regularly watching is Sailor Moon. At least two or three episodes a day. And maybe a bit of Pretty Cure here and there.

Weeaboo Name April 11th, 2014 9:03 AM

Nisekoi is every harem♥♥♥♥ cliché rolled into one show. Has some pretty good girls though and the main character isn't awful, SHAFT being in charge of production also can't hurt. A very middling show but one I haven't dropped.

Enma-kun was a fun weekly watch.

Seki April 11th, 2014 9:09 AM

#team onodera cos why not?

derozio April 11th, 2014 9:12 AM

A show that does this? Naah, I don't think anyone can give an accurate/good synopsis of it other than say 'It has a universe where anything can happen. Is a comedy anime with few dramatic shounen arcs here and there'. A synopsis of the 'plot' is...idk, is it even possible to think of one that does this anime justice?

Weeaboo Name April 11th, 2014 9:16 AM

Nah, not for this show. I like them all.

Was a part of the green army back in the colour wars days and my national pride kicked in for this one.

My synopsis for Gintama would be.... Depressed Samurai dick around.

Can i ask what episode is that? Cos I don't remember seeing it... Could it be I actually unintentionally skipped an episode??

derozio April 11th, 2014 11:16 AM

Great synopsis, lappy. :D

and it was 150 iirc. The end of season 3.

Weeaboo Name April 11th, 2014 11:28 AM

The jokes are just a mask or coping mechanism for a country that just lost it's independence. Not to mention Gintoki's traumatic past.

Sorry I am dumb what show are you talking about?

I really like Nisekoi ;; It is cute. And it is pretty generic but I actually like the characters and animation style so I guess that's why I find it interesting.

derozio April 11th, 2014 7:31 PM

@lappy - seems legit.
@Altairis - Sakurasou no pet na kanojo. :p I have ep 10 downloaded. Will watch it now.

You deserve a trophy. #teamonodera for very not obvious reasons.

I'm sad KamiNomi's ending but it had to happen sometimes...

It's fairly different from manga... but it's SHAFT.

Pokestick, good times. April 12th, 2014 2:38 AM

It is SHAFT. And it's a very pretty SHAFT. I like pretty SHAFTs.

I wouldn't say it's pretty SHAFT... it's pretty but not pretty SHAFT...
Pretty SHAFT must be one Power Point slide.

Pokestick, good times. April 12th, 2014 3:08 AM

Yes, it's not pretty SHAFT, it's a pretty SHAFT.

Shaft reminds me. Did anyone watch mekaku yet? Anyone participating in the stream?

Just downloaded it. Will watch after the football finishes. Or maybe when I get my ATX Kenzen Robo I'll have a little marathon of airing shows.
