How many times have you played them?
So, how many times have you played each of your fourth-generation games? Me--I've played Diamond twice, Pearl once, and Platinum about three to four times. Not sure why I decided to play it this much, but... I guess I was just bored and had nothing better to do, haha. Oh, and I also wanted to get my hands on all starters, so before creating a new save file, I'd always transfer them to some other game (mostly though, it was HeartGold) for safekeeping. :P
|
I've owned Diamond 3 times, the first 2 times I traded it away after finishing them.
I have Diamond, Pearl and Platinum now, all finished except for the Dex, which I'm working on by finishing my Gen III games! |
I only remember myself playing and finishing Platinum twice. I started Diamond but stopped halfway through, same with Soul Silver.
|
I have played Diamond 3 times as of now. Then I gave it to a friend that never had any of the Sinnoh games. I only played Pearl 2 times, and I regret it. I lost a lot of good Pokemon from my first journey on the game. I sold that game. I can't say that I regret anything because I prefer Platinum more. I played Platinum 2 times as well. My first save was glitched. Whenever I went upstairs in the Pokemon Center, I went through the wall for some reason. My current copy is starting to wear out so I might buy a new copy of it because I just love the game so much. I have played Soul Silver only 1 time. I never restarted it, I actually sold it. Worst decision of my life. That's when I ended up buying Heart Gold a year later. I played through it 2 times. I still have the game right now, and I still didn't finish my 2nd run.
That's quite a long post I have there. |
Played SoulSilver two times. Played Platinum on an emulator two times, and two times with the cartridge.
|
I've played 'em far too many times. Pearl is my most played Pokemon game of all time, but I'm still on my original save file... I don't want to get rid of that one. I've played through Diamond a couple of times but Platinum I've played countless times. If I had to guess, right now I'd say I was on my seventh play through.
|
I've played Diamond around 4-5 times since I've owned multiple copies and helped my cousin beat his version, Pearl about 6 times, mostly for challenges and one to help a friend beat the Elite Four, and as for Platinum, I'm not too sure. I've played it a bunch of times. A lot more than Diamond and Pearl, and I'm on my 3rd cart of the game since those DS cards are so easy to lose.
I currently only own Platinum and only play it for the use of challenges because of how slow Gen 4 feels for me (with the exception of HG/SS because Johto nostalgia), but I have the cases for all three games. The Pearl case I got from my friend since he knew I had Diamond and Platinum, but no Pearl case since I never owned my own copy of Pearl until I bought one from Gamestop. It's a bit weird, but I'm weird when it comes to what I like collecting :P |
I have played diamond 5 times and soul silver 3 or 4 times. Though now i have to play them both again because i deleted my latest saves and then bank came out :o
|
Got Platinum for my bday a few weeks after it first came out, and I loved it. Unfortunately, I lost that cartridge years ago, so I recently got a new one, and loved it. Then I found my old one, but it was glitched or something, as it froze whenever i started a battle. So I've played it twice, and I intend to play it again some time in the future!
|
I only played some of them more than, I played Pt and SoulS twice. And left the others ones.
|
I played Pearl once and Soulsivler twice
|
Since Pearl bored me out of my wits, I've only played it to completetion once. I've beaten and restarted HeartGold upwards of ten times though. ^_^
|
I think I've played Diamond a good two to three times! It was my first Pokemon game right after Pokemon Gold, so as you can imagine, the graphics, gameplay and the like were out of this world in comparison.
|
I've only ever played my Pokemon Ruby more than once (about three times although I don't think the second time was to completion) since I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to save files.
I'm planning on restarting Soul Silver soon since I've migrated and traded pokemon that I wanted to keep. I have a bunch of eggs on platinum I'm going to trade over to soul silver when I restart it. |
I finished Diamond once and Platinum once- working on finishing it for second time now ^^ These games take a long time to be finished but they are sure worth playing!
|
I've played Diamond twice, Pearl one time, Platinum one time and Soul Silver twice.
|
All of them 3 times.
This generation I played the fewest! |
Diamond two or three times and Platinum once, maybe twice... and that's all. Haven't replayed the fourth gen much at all (similar to fifth).
Am dying to replay Platinum though but I don't have the card anymore so will probably need to buy a new one. sobbss it's still fairly expensive! |
I completed Diamond once and Platinum three times.
Didn't like Diamond much, but Platinum fixed most of the problems that the former had so I'm satisfied with my experience. |
Diamond: Twice
Pearl: Once Platinum: Once but never finished it. (However I hope that changes once GoGo finishes his hack :D (if you count that)) |
-scratches head- It's been forever since I touched any of my DPPt games. They're pretty ancient as they can get because they still have active wondercards from events from 2008, yikes!
Pearl: Once. I got it the day it came out in America in 2007 and I never restarted the file. Diamond: Several times. I wanted to replay it a few times using different starters and a different team. My bro was its original owner, but I made sure to send over his Pokemon to Pearl. Platinum: I wanna say once. I don't think I have ever restarted it. HeartGold: I restarted this one a couple of times, but my various save files were backed up beforehand. |
I have not finished my Pearl game, I'm at Victory Road - I haven't continued since XY came out. I have not yet played Diamond or Platinum at all.
For the 2nd gen. remakes - I haven't finished Soul Silver I just need 1 more badge, but like Pearl - since I played XY I haven't continued my journey, and have not played HeartGold. |
For HG/SS I've beat them like 5 times, DPPt however, I have only played twice. I just don't like the map or the pokemon, I just really can't get into the game as a whole.
|
Diamond: 2 times
Pearl: 2 times Platinum: 20-30 times I did a lot of nuzlocke runs in Platinum, and uh... I FAILED ALL OF THEM. |
I replayed both Diamond and Platinum around 3 to 4 times. Why? So I could try out all the starters, and remodel my team after each restart. I started with Chimchar on Diamond, and Turtwig on Platinum, and after I cleared the main story and played in the aftergame a bit, I usually cleared my save file and started with a new starter Pokemon.
|
Only played through Platinum twice, but I'm already planning my team for a third playthrough. Same goes for HG once I have a means of transferring the stuff off of it.
|
Off the top of my head, I've played:
Diamond once, Pearl once, Platinum five thousand seven hundred and eighty two times, Heartgold three times and Soulsilver two. I need a life to be honest but argh 4th gen. :< *sinks into fort of 4th gen games* |
Hm, not as much as SoulSilver. I refuse to restart my Pokemon Diamond because I have caught so many Pokemon over the years and have trained a lot of them. I believe that is the game where I have bred, and received so many shinies via trade that it would be a waste to start a new adventure imo. For Pearl I've replayed that game twice. After exams, I will probably play through Pearl again fr fun, or maybe even do a challenge with Pearl.
|
I've played Diamond once, Platinum twice, and SoulSilver twice. I think that's an all-time-low for me in terms of replaying Pokemon games. I guess you could say generation IV is my least favorite, but the fact is I still really enjoyed all the games. Shows how much I love the Pokemon series! XD
|
I have played diamond and Pearl one time.
And platinum 6 times now i dont know about i should do it 7 times. |
Diamond - on my third playthrough.
Pearl - only once - it's the one my shinies and such are stored in. Platinum - on my fourth playthrough. |
I haven't played through fourth gen too many times, though I have (by my standards) a lot of hours on Diamond (450ish). I've played Diamond once (completed my Pokedex, etc.; I used to do a lot of trading and shiny/event collecting back on that game several years ago), and I've started one file each on Pearl and Platinum. The Platinum one is fairly far along (I recall finishing the Distortion World, at least; the rest is a blur), but the Pearl one is practically at the beginning of the game. I also have one file each on HG and SS, but I haven't played those nearly as much as I expected to (considering gen 2 was my favorite gen and I wanted remakes for years). I think my time became very limited after HG/SS came out, as I don't have too many hours in gen 5, either (though I've racked up quite a few in gen 6 by playing most nights before bed).
I've also played Diamond a couple of times for challenges, but still, I've only been through Sinnoh a few times total. I should really do it again sometime soon. For whatever reason, I think I've played RBY and GSC a lot more times than the other games (probably because it's really easy to start up those games on an emulator and accelerate through them, plus, I guess I've had those versions longer, and I also had a way to back up my physical gen 1/2 save files, so I could start new games without losing my old progress). |
I've played through Pearl at least twice and Platinum about three times.
I really enjoyed the lake trio aspect of the games, specifically in Platinum, so I'd play through again just to be able to see the storyline once more. It was also very exciting going to the Reverse World. <3 .. And shiny hunting was definitely something that kept me playing these games long after beating them, too. |
