Ok. How about this..
Breed a pokemon, of your choice, in a love ball. You also have a choice of breeding a pokemon that is either has or can have, but not limited to; cute charm ability; attract in moveset (either learned through leveling, by breeding, or by tm); a fairy type. |

I have bred over 40 Horsea in a love ball so far in an attempt to breed up some perfects. If I get my perfect, I'll take a picture of her :) |
As I breed my horsea in love balls, I realize that none of them have Outrage, which I worked rather hard to get on the original mother using a hydreigon father. Now my IV spread on the mother is 31.31.31.30.31.31 and outrage is gone. Worse yet, the original mother who knew it, apparently cannot be retaught it at the move relearner. *head desk* I knew there was a reason I wasn't bothering with egg moves before. I totally forgot to keep tabs on the mother's moves.
Those of you who work with egg moves, I'm curious, as I don't see the horsea family anywhere on its own egg move list, can I even pass outrage down from one horsea to another? At this point, rather than moving backwards in my breeding, I think I'll just trade the final parent to my son who is only 2 BP away from affording outrage. Not gonna bother though if one horsea cannot pass outrage down to the others? |

As for my breeding....I haven't been able to start yet....partially because I just bought Bravely Default....and partially because I'm a math major. |
i haven't started breeding my love ball feebas yet. Just dug out my b2 and realized i haven't beaten the game yet... need to do that before I can get anything in a love ball to my AS game.

I would like to breed a Togekiss. Does it need to know attrack and cute charm? It cant learn cute charm. Can B2 pass down pokeballs or is that only X/Y/OR/AS?

Hey guys! I'm new to the forum and haven't joined any clubs yet and this one looked promising! I love breeding. It's the one thing I look forward too in these games so I figured I'd give this a shot c:
Name: Nekochen Partner Pokemon: My 6iv Sableye (Fray), and my 6iv Audino (Maria). It was really hard to choose though. I have so many pokemon I have bred and grown attached to. What would you like to breed for February's project?: I think I would like to attempt something in a love ball! I haven't attempted getting anything in the apricorn balls before. I think it's something I would like to try. I bet Audino would be the cutest in a love ball! |
Quote:
We know how it is about just picking 2 when there are so many we got attached to.. I had a problem choosing too. |
So how's the breeding coming along?
|
Thanks for the welcome! 8D I'm pretty excited. I'm still breeding actually. I was working on the last of the two teams I'm building but I'm still trying to decide what I might want to breed in a love ball. I was debating cleffa because I wouldn't mind having a clefable. I been wanting to use one again anyway c:

I haven't joined any clubs yet so I think I'll give this one a shot.
Name: Stormerbuzz35 Partner pokemon: Weavile (Frost) and 5IV Garchomp (Drace) Current topic: What would you like to breed for February's project? : I'm going to breed a Cleffa to evolve into Clefable for my competitive team. I've never bothered even training one so this should be fun. |

After hatching very many eggs today, I eventualy hatched my goal pokemon to use for my team. A surprizing shiny Cleffa with 5IVs I've named Venus. I'm going to try post a pic as soon as I can.
Sorry for double post, but noones posted here in a few days. |

I totally forgot that subscribing was a thing. Whoops!
Congrats though Stormer 8D I need to finish my breeding as well. I probably won't try for a shiny cleffa though. Normal Cleffa will do fine for me. I actually managed to get a shiny cleffa in wonder trade oddly enough. |
As promised, my shiny Cleffa. It took a while to remember to bring the pic with me to the library lol.

Congrats again for the Cleffa.
|
Congratulations! That's pretty amazing. =)
I hatched yet another 6IV jolly female limber Buneary yesterday so I'm now using that one and a 6IV Japanese Ditto to breed for a shiny Buneary. Third time's the charm.. hopefully it won't end up being male this time. ~_~ |
Alright ladies and gents, while you guys are finishing up February's project, I think it is time for another topic.
What would you like to breed for spring 2015? |

Partner Pokemon: I have a lot, but I'll list my Rotom-Wash and Metagross.
I really want to breed a Clefable and a Mold Breaker Excadrill. |
*grassdragon used return* :p
Sorry I haven't been on in so long. I got caught up breeding another Shiny Charmander for a friend......and it's taking forever!!!! If I can get this Shiny for my friend, I want to breed a Castform. |
Name: Oblox
Partner Pokemon: Charizard (6IV Mega X), Charizard (Mega Y - coming soon) Answer the current topic. For Spring I'll mostly be breeding my Shiny Charizard-Y. I think I'm at about 400 ish eggs and no joy but i'm perservering. I got lucky breeding my Charizard-X and got a 6IVer and then a Shiny 5IVer in the same batch of 5 eggs but sadly the shiny is jolly natured so I need a better one (and hopefully female). Ive also just bred a nice new 5IV Venusaur for my team. |

So I've been thinking about the project and I have decided on what to do next. Rain Theme: Breed a pokemon that is either a water type or is weak to water! I have looked at the few suggestions that were given and I have seen ground and fire, which is weak to water, and I've seen a suggestion for a rain theme, with another being castform. So I thought maybe doing a rain theme isn't bad. It gives a lot of options. |

i.. have also returned! somehow. how long has it been since i posted in here?
honestly it's also because i haven't actually been breeding much at all lately ( ´ ▽ ` )ゞ playing a bunch of other games, haha. i may participate in the new breeding challenge though! as long as it's a water type, that counts? i could try my hand at Azumarill for once c: |
Quote:
|
Thanks for letting me in! I've been breeding for a while so I thought I'd get active with the community by joining this group.
I like the idea of a rain theme. It gives me more incentive to get to work on a Mold Breaker Drilbur. I'm probably going to breed another Marill to so I can have multiple Azumarill sets. |

I FINALLY DID IT!!! This is what I was breeding for the rain theme. Attachment 74724 3rd starter I ever got shiny.

Hey guys u have any advice for breeding shinies? Or finding shiny value?
Ps. Sorry Joey |
Quote:
As for the shiny values, you got me. |
Quote:
|
When you begin a Pokemon game, you are assigned a hidden number called your SID (Secret ID). When you receive an egg, a number is generated for that egg. If the SID number for your egg number matches your trainer SID, then the Pokemon within the egg will be shiny, hence the term Shiny Value. There is no way to determine what your SID is without using a hacking device or by uploading your Pokemon onto Pokecheck.org (which has been under maintenance since Gen VI began.)
|
So how's the breeding coming along everyone??
|
I was going to breed Castform but I decided to breed Slowpokes instead.
|
So I'm thinking of doing something a little different. How would you guys like to do a Question of the Week? type of thing??

Okay guys, there is going to be a new segment of this thread called Question of the Week. Pretty much it's any one person can post a question for the week, any and all members can answer the question at anytime. If there is two (2) questions asked within the first 5 days, it will be used for the following weeks QOTW.
Quote:
——————————————————————————————————————————————— I'll start. The QOTW is: What is your preferred method of hatching eggs? (i.e. With flame body, lumiose circle, going around region, ect.) |
My preferred method of hatching eggs is with flame body, hatching o-power and around the battle resort in oras.
In other news, I traded for a shiny 6IV japanese ditto today! |
Thank you!
My preferred method in XY is using Flame Body, with Hatching O-Power S (also with the 4000 3DS steps trick), and riding back and forth the path at the daycare on a bike. I usually get eggs within 30 seconds - 1 minute of cycling back and forth. |
Volcarona, Hatching O-power and riding round the beach in battle resort. I did originally setup my secret base in the tree near the mauville daycare but with needing the IV checker the battle resort is much handier.
Whats the 4000 3DS steps trick? |
Talonflame, Hatching O-power 3, riding around and around in the battle resort while only pressing the A button (this is possible due to the camera shifts)
|
As for me in X I use both lumiose center and the route the daycare is on with talonflame; for AS I use the battle resort as well as the bike area/travel around with the hatching power 3 and magcargo.

Partner Pokemon: Malamar and Chestnaught Current Topic: What is your favorite method of breeding: Mine is pretty standard, Everstone Ditto with the pokemon I am breeding for the nature, then I get the egg and use Flame Body Talonflame with Hatching O-Power 3 to speed up the process. I also have a question. If someone wouldn't mind trying to help me get up to speed a bit with this? |

Well I hope so. I want to be a part of this group. Because, like I imagine everyone here, I breed a lot. XD Most recently things I have bread was pokemon for a monotype ghost team. I started at about 1AM and then went to bed an hour later once I finished Chandelur. The next day I spend a few hours breeding and training up Frilish, Yamask, and Honedge
|
Quote:
Will resume shiny breeding after I've finished Y and fully kitted out my team with ribbons (Contests and Battle Maison + Kalos and Hoenn champ). Rotom Wash is still on my list to breed but otherwise I'll be having a look round for some new ideas. |

I'm not doing any big projects right now. I am just currently IV breeding a bunch of pokemon right now. So it is hard for me to say a specific one. Since IV breeding Sableye only took an hour this morning. XD But right now I am doing Zigzagoon.

Ive decided to try breeding a Heatmor after the discussion in the pyro club. An interesting Pokemon with access to some surprising moves, even if he's not that great stat wise. Need to research some natures etc and any egg moves that are worth breeding for.

Definitely going for special with Giga drain and seeing what else works well with it, belch sounds ok except for the berry requirement but may take a look.
|

Also, forgot to mention but in the time I last said I Breeded a Stockpile Snorlak, a Support Clawizer, and I am currently IV breeding an Ambipom |
There is an idea! Stockpile, Giga Drain, Heat WAve, Belch with PEteya/Salac
|
So how is everyone's breeding coming along.
|
Just IV breeding a Heliolisk, and a Bronzor for a friend of mine. And now I am about to start on the second version of the Bronzor for him and then I will likely start the Dragalge he wants too.
|
Just finished breeding a Kangaskhan. Currently, I'm Wonder Trading seven boxes full of breedjects to see what else I can breed.
