I pretty much take a nap every morning/afternoon when I'm riding the bus I go to school/back home with...
No accidents yet ^.^

Hiatus March 29th, 2014 4:27 PM

I take naps every day in the evening. Honestly can't live without them, haha.

Dear god, I hate that sensation. That's happened tome once or twice. Hopefully nothing unfortunate happened while you were driving?

Whoa. That's some freaky stuff right there.

Y'know what I think the most annoying monster in Dragon Quest is? Metal Slimes. They just dodge almost all of your attacks and take practically no damage, the little buggers. When you FINALLY kill one, dear lord does it ever pay off.

Haha, nope :P My friend was there to keep me awake. I suggested he nap since he was tired too, but he wanted to make sure my hands will be on the wheel the whole way home XD

GarlandDaHero March 29th, 2014 4:38 PM

I'm not sure if this is on-topic or not, but occasionally my left foot "falls asleep". Like, it goes numb for a minute or so.

You owe your friend some baked goods some time for that feat (;

You're most likely just overstimulating it. Usually when a body part is put under to much stimulation, like having your hand in an awkward position, it will go numb or limp on you. It just means that the sensors on your feet are working too hard, it's actually perfectly normal.

I hate how in cities like Colorado Springs the public transportation system is a filthy, unkempt, wretched privatized mess, causing people to take their cars instead of the bus. It's just sad for a number of reasons: (1) Using the bus saves on our carbon footprint, (2) there would be a hell of a lot less vehicles on the road, which brings us to (3) our roads wouldn't have to be anywhere near as big, since we'd be holding maybe 6 or 7 buses as opposed to fifty cars at a red light.

Are you sure that may be the reason why people might not be taking the bus? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cleanliness as much as the next guy, but I don't know if having a dirty bus would altogether stop a person from getting to work on time.

Then again, I've never been to Colorado Springs so I can't honestly give a good comparison to the ones of Boston.

Tsutarja March 29th, 2014 5:19 PM

Bleh public transportation. The only form of that is the aera regional transit system here for city buses, and those don't even cover the whole county, or the trolley between downtown and the historic district.

GarlandDaHero March 29th, 2014 5:23 PM

I've only ever ridden school buses, if those count as "public transportation", so I can't really add my two cents, Zach.

Tsutarja March 29th, 2014 6:59 PM

I've ridden the city buses in New York City, but that's about it. I just know the routes and whatnot around my area for public transportation. I've ridden in a school bus as well, by the way.. all 13 years of schooling for me too.

Pendraflare March 29th, 2014 7:41 PM

I sometimes like to take the shuttle at college on the weekends, but I don't take taxis or such often when i'm in big areas. I remember when I was in NYC in November and couldn't figure out how to get where the bus was, I was being misled direction-wise by someone who was trying to offer me a ride in his taxi-like bike thingy (sorry if that doesn't sound right).

After my freshman year of high school I just rode my bike to school. I was allowed to listen to music and didn't have to listen to a bunch of degenerates talking about stupid ♥♥♥♥ for forty-five minutes twice a day. I had the whole road to myself at five in the morning, too… it was peaceful. :)

Tsutarja March 29th, 2014 8:20 PM

Hmm, I dunno about you, but I was able to ride on my school bus in peace all four years of high school, and I always listened to my iPod to and from school with no disruptions. Of course there were times when I conversed with others, but that's different than disruptions because I was active in the conversation.

Sir Codin March 29th, 2014 8:24 PM

I was so happy when I could finally drive on my own.

No more crappy school bus antics. Haven't dealt with them since I was 16.

Aeroblast March 29th, 2014 8:24 PM

By the time I became a senior in high school, I had friends that can drive so I stopped riding the school bus. Didn't get my license until right at the end of first semester in college, though.

Tsutarja March 29th, 2014 8:51 PM

I got my license two days after I received my high school diploma. I didn't really know anyone from high school closely to take me into school, and down here, everyone literally asks for gas money in such instances.

Alexander Nicholi March 29th, 2014 10:54 PM

My mother says that either when she gets a new car or decides to take me to get my license (when I'm 17), whichever came first will be followed by the other (if she gets a new car then I get my license, and vice versa).

When I take possession of our car, the first thing I'm doing is getting a new sound system within the car that handles bass really well. And right now the driver side speaker is blown which means we have no radio at all, so I do have some leverage. :P

Meganium March 29th, 2014 11:50 PM

I got my license shortly before moving to San Diego. I was glad, because had I not gotten my license, I'd struggle going to school on public transportation, but it turned out that I used my car far less because riding the trolley was so fun! xD

TY March 30th, 2014 12:02 AM

I need to wait 2 more months and 20 days before I can start getting my drivers license ;;
Though I do not think I want to drive anytime soon haha.

Legendary Silke March 30th, 2014 12:03 AM

I think I haven't driven for so long... I don't even find a need to drive yet.

moon March 30th, 2014 12:04 AM

I drove a properly modern car a few days ago. So smooth! My own 20 year old wreck was a storm in comparison to that new breeze, haha.

Legendary Silke March 30th, 2014 2:22 AM

Something tells me I might be better off without a car.

Nathan March 30th, 2014 2:42 AM

There's some kinda license for minors, with parental consent. I'm gonna ask my dad so hopefully I can apply for that in the next months :3
