The Pair Challenge!

The Pair Challenge
http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/088/6/9/minun_and_plusle_render_by_maviswendy-d5zr7dc.png

Rules:

There are 3 different modes you can play; Normal, Hard, Insane.

In Normal Mode: The rules are simple. You may use 2 members of your choice to beat the game. It's basically a Solo Run with Two Pokemon instead of 1. You have an unlimited amount of faints or deaths or anything.

In Hard Mode: You may pick your two Pokemon by choice at the beginning. However, if one faints then you must replace that Pokemon with a different one ASAP. However, if they both faint, then you must choose a Pokemon to repalce. Here's the catch. If a Pokemon was not replaced the last time, then it must be replaced the next time.

For Example, let's say you had a Wingull and Torchic and you lost to Roxanne. If you choose to replace Wingull the first time you lose, the second time, it has to be Torchic.

In Insane Mode: It's basically like a Wedlocke, only with one pair. Look at the last number of your Player card. 1-3 is Grass. 4-6 is Water. 7-0 is Fire. You pick your starter based off of that. Then, you must catch the first Pokemon you see on the first route that you go to AFTER you receive Pokeballs. If you black out, it's game over. However, if just one Pokemon faints, then you can find a new Pokemon on the closest route to you.

-You must Nickname all your Pokemon. Try and get creative to have them relate to one and other.
-You must try and keep your Pokemon relatively close in level. Please don't just over level one Pokemon and then complete the game with just that Pokemon.
-You may hack in Pokemon for Hard and Normal mode if you wish, but they must be at a low level early in the game.
-You are definitely allowed to use as many HM slaves as you wish, however, they can not enter battle unless it is a triple battle, then it's allowed, but they must only use supporting moves.

This Challenge is Completed once you:
Kanto - Defeat Champion Blue (your rival) at the Indigo Plateau
Johto - Defeat Red at Mt. Silver
Hoenn - Defeat Steven (Ruby/Sapphire) or Wallace (Emerald) at Ever Grande City
Sinnoh - Defeat Cynthia in the Pokémon League
Unova - Defeat Ghetsis in N's Castle (Black/White), or Defeat Iris in the Pokémon League (Black 2/White 2).
Kalos - Battle AZ at the end of the game.
Hacks - Determined by player (usually, this is the Champion of the hack)

P.S. The Pair can be any two Pokemon. They don't need to have any relation towards each other whatsoever.

Adding you now.

I'll also do a quick update on my run.

I just defeated Roxanne with ease.

Current team: Level 16 Combusken.
Level 13 Wingull. I'll do a real update later on as I progress more. I'm leaving soon anyways.

Update #1
Twinleaf to Oreburgh
Normal Mode

Went through the intro and then choose Piplup as my starter
Did the first battle then a while later battled Barry.
After that I went to Sandgem town, got the pokedex and went through Lucas' tour, then bought a few pokeballs and went home to tell my mom.
Next I went through Lucas' walkthrough of catching a pokémon
I continued then caught myself a female Shinx that I named Artemis.
I trained Artemis up from Level 3 to 8 then went through other battles to get to Canalave city.
Went to trainers school, gave Barry the parcel and got a town map, then left and got myself the poketch.
Left Canalave city and battled Barry, beat him easily and continued on.
Lost to a battle with a trainers Kricketot because I wasn't paying attention, but won the next time around.
Continued through Oreburgh gate and travelled to the gym, then went to the route above Oreburgh, and saved there.

Small update for my Insane Ruby Randomized Challenge!

Spoiler:

-Got Horsea as a Starter (never used the Horsea line in a playthrough before!)
-First encounter of first route is... Charmander! So two "Dragons" will make up my team.

-Went through the routes leading to Rustboro

ROXANNE (Badge #1)
Horsea learns Bubble right off the bat, and that was all I needed to beat Roxy. Next.

-Went to Dewford, gave letter to Steven, grinded for Brawly

BRAWLY (Badge #2)
I had to use both of my Pokemon here in order to finish Makuhita. I was able to attack it while it was spamming Bulk Up.

No deaths here. Slateport, then went under Cycling Road en route to Mauville. May stood before me.

One of few times I'll include the May fights is now. I almost lost as Marshtomp stored energy with Bide, but I fainted it before any attack was launched. Bomb defused!

WATTSON (Badge #3)
With Horsea weak to Electric, I was extra careful here. I only had Horsea beat the first Magnemite, which used Thunder Wave. I sent in Charmeleon, and with some luck, I brought down Wattson. Being a veteran of Emerald, it was a relief that Wattson doesn't have Manectric in Ruby.

That's it, that's all. About to reach Fallarbor currently. No deaths to my surprise.

I've noticed on most threads, your pictures haven't been uploading for me, Gucci. You should use Imgur to upload your pictures!

Just FINISHED my Insane Ruby Pair Challenge with Kingdra and Charizard! I had the Elite Four theme stuck in my head today, so I figured I get this Challenge done.

Spoiler:

After finding wild Mewtwos near the Fiery Path, I was able to grind and keep my Pokemon ahead of the Level Curve for the entirety of the game.

FLANNERY (Badge #4)
With Charizard and Kingdra recently evolved, this one was in the bag. Kingdra's Water Gun (lol) swept her.

NORMAN (Badge #5)
More of the same here. For the two pesky Slakings, I had Charizard used Overheat. Fighting 50 Mewtwos added a lot of Special Attack EVs to my Pokemon!

-More classic Gen III backtracking and Team Magma fights

WINONA (Badge #6)
I had just taught Kingdra Ice Beam, which helped me drop her Altaria, and the rest of her Flying types.

-TentacoolWingull, Trumpets, Water, Surfing, and TentacoolWingull (I HATE this part of the game!)

TATE&LIZA (Badge #7)
So apparently Ruby only gave them Lunatone and Solrock, no Xatus or anything like their Emerald team. I was disappointed. Kingdra's Surf finisehed them up in a hurry.

-More Water, except I bought Repels this time!!!

WALLACE (Badge #8)
My vote for hardest 8th Gym Leader in Pokemon, with Volkner and Clair as their runner ups. Even with a Kingdra, this Gym was not easy. Thankfully, some lucky critical hits and flinches from Kingdra's Twister sealed the deal.

-Victory Road grinding, SQUASHED WALLY. His Gardevoir was cheap though. I hate Double Team.

Without further ado, let's go to Pokemon League! No deaths for the record.

SIDNEY
Charizard pulled us through with Wing Attack and Flamethrower. Sharpedo in RS is much stronger than the Crawdaunt that replaces it in Emerald. Almost got messy there.

PHOEBE
Wicked easy. And I have no idea why. The Dusclops didn't Protect once.

GLACIA
Beating Glacia meant this game was a wrap. When times got tough, I had Kingdra use Hydro Pump. It bailed me out opfor Walrein and the two Sealeos.

DRAKE
As soon as I got Kingdra, I knew I'd defeat Drake without any problem. Ice Beam all, game set and match.

STEVEN
For reference, I chose Ruby rather than Emerald because I wanted to fight Steven rather than Wallace. I like his Steel types.

Anyway, Charizard played an important role with Flamethrower/Overheat. Skarmory went down with Flamethrower, Claydol to Surf, Aggron to Earthquake, Cradily to Ice Beam, Armaldo to Flamethrower...

And one last Overheat to Metagross to take us home. Fun challenge.

Update #2
Coal Badge
Normal Mode

Also noticed I haven't been added to the Normal Challengers yet, just to note.

Ran around Route 206 before realising Ponyta was only there in Pokemon Platinum
Talked to Barry then went into the mine to find Roark.
Battled a bit and levelled Artemis up, to my surprise she evolved.
Found Roark then went to the Pokémon centre to heal before taking on the gym.
Beating it was easier than expected, thanks to Bites flinch effect and critical hits that helped me take down Cranidos in 2 hits.

Added you to the list!
Good luck!
I guess you can hack in a Vaporeon and Jolteon since you wouldn't be able to get the stones until you could actually get an Eevee.

Yeah, that's what I planned on doing. :3
I also plan on doing it on the PC, so it'll be a lot easier to hack in wild eevee encounters~

Just got my white version back, now I need a challenge for it :]

Username: Tek
Game: White
Mode: Normal
Team: Shaymin and Pichu

Obviously I'll need hax to obtain them, that's cool, right? And I will probably make Pichu the spiky-eared one so I won't have to evolution cancel all the time.

First update:
Spoiler:

Okay so I grabbed a Tepig and made my way to Striaton's Restaurant/Gym thing. After winning, I created a lv 10 Shaymin named Grace and a lv 10 Spiky-eared Pichu named Mischief, both with my OT and ID, and sent them over via GTS. I used a pair of dice (one 20-sided and one ten-sided, adding 1 to the combined total of each roll) to determine their IVs. Mischief got a 29 in both Sp.A and Spe, which is simply marvelous. I put Grace in a Love Ball and Mischief in a Luxury Ball, just for kicks.

Unfortunately though, Mischief reverted to a regular Pichu. I guess I'll have to catch a Roggenrola or two to get an Everstone. I taught cut to the Pansage I received in that forested area. And so the journey has begun!

Here's the team as of now:

Grace the Shaymin
Bashful Lv 12
Growth/Magical Leaf/-/-

Mischief the Pichu
Naïve Female Lv 11
Charm/Tail Whip/Thunder Wave/Thundershock
