Pretty sure the old one had well over 200 pages |
174
Double posting doesn't seem to be that big of a problem any more, though. Even if that is because we've all stopped using quick reply. |
175
Maybe I should delete an anime/manga series every time someone Double-posts |
|
177. I still use quick reply

Woah, didn't know anyone else used Dawn of Champions. Glad to see I'm not the only one. |

I spent some time a while back looking through themes, and I kind of just stuck with it. It's pretty sleek. The logo kind of detracts from it though. I find it strange why none of the themes have :active selectors. It would make my PC experience so much better. Spoiler:
|
185. you'd have to get the .xml from an admin lol
but idk what you're talking about re: active selectors???? |
186.
Ew XML. You know, CSS selectors? .class:hover .class:active |
187. meh, too fancy
anyway, naptime maybe soon idk |
188
Those are a lot of tabs you have open, synchroman. Meanwhile, I'm working on Flannery's gym. Now to throw Flannery herself in there somewhere. |
189
Was totally expecting a hotsprings scene. |
190
Those are hotsprings though. |

if Flannery ain't wearing her ORAS clothes I'm not interested |
193. I like new Roxanne. She looks so much younger than RSE's Roxanne.
|
194
It's the eyes. The eyes really do a lot for the character designs. Not really for better or for worse, but they do give them a different feel. I just hope Brawly turns into the Legendary Super Saiyan in this one. |

I don't like how Brock just keeps changing in the games but not in the anime. It's just... weird. Quote:

Oh, those. Iirc most people call them styles. T'is a confusing place, this. :P I've never made one, and I haven't worked with website design for two years, so not only am I rusty with CSS, I wouldn't know where to start I'm afraid. |
200.
Hm. I wonder whom to ask. I have the knowledge, but I don't have a place to start lol |
|
Making forum themes and tinkering with websites alike are both really enjoyable. But being a perfectionist in conjunction with that is very not fun.
202 |
203.
I can definitely agree with that. *shudders* |
204
Is it just me, or does Flannery look insane in ORAS? Same with Sidney |
205
Quote:
Pretty much same for Sidney, he's this hot-headed sort-of sinister gambler type. As is a common theme with dark-type trainers. Pokémon characters suddenly have expression. Finally, I'd say. :P |
206
At least this will re-ignite the r34 of Flannery, of which I support fully |
207
This will reignite r34 for all the characters. Every last one of them. Every. One. |
208
R34 Steven Stone? .... *nosebleed* |
208
Especially Roxanne, I'd wager. Though I imagine Flannery, Steven, Brawly and Phoebe are receiving massive r34 boosts as well. |
209
I'm expecting a lot for the now kawaii as s**t Team Magma and Aqua members. And I wouldn't have it any other way. |
210
Found an interesting piece with May and Mega-Sceptile WELL THEN |
202
TPP Showed me the greatness of Wattson. I look forward to beating that huge smile off his face soon enough. |
203
But Wattson will probably enjoy it. |

Twilight, the thought just occurred to me... ...Are you ever going to change your avatar? How long have you had that thing? |

I've only had this for a month or so
Makes me wish we could save avatars to our own selection menu for quick selection rather then going through the process up manually uploading a new one 221 Might swap back to Red at some point |
222.
I just made Netto change his avatar and signature yesterday. Which is like a big deal apparently. |
Quote:
Which I love...totally. Was planning on changing my theme into this a month ago. If you see my Facebook and MAL profiles it was kinda obvious. But Been too lazy to do so. |
230
Now I've just got Torkoal left. Spoiler:
I hope y'all know what she's holding and why. |
231
Great art as usual, Pokey. In no way can that Torkoal be taken as r34. |
232
It'd be easy work for a professional. Like Twilight. |
233
Freedom. Or maybe I've been recaptured, ensnared by your charming wit, never to escape. |
234
Holy s***! Jesus mother******** Christ What the ****!? ...Huh. Who let the gate open? I thought we had a Weeaboo lock installed. |
235.
That's your hotsprings scene, Netto. Enjoy. Aaaand Laptrap is back. |
236.
I wish I was as good as you, Pokestick! I'm absolutely terrible when it comes to drawing. |
237
^ I hope you draw, though! Draw without even caring if it looks good or not! Draw because it's fun and trust me, you'll start getting noticeably better sooner or later. Quote:

As a guy who wants to be a game developer, I really want to learn to draw. But it's like my skills have stagnated over the years <_< |
240.
You'll be making games solo? |
241
If I go into it as a career, probably not (though currently that's the case), but even then it has its uses. But I'd like to be able to see characters as I envision them in my head, draw out scenes as they will play out, and make sprites and character portraits. If I could draw, I'd probably be more motivated to proactively work on the ideas I already have. But as time goes on, it feels like I shouldn't be able to draw because I have ideas. It would just be too perfect if I could do both. I keep trying, though. |
242
It's always annoying when your ideas are way above your drawing skills level-wise. Gotta spec that stuff evenly. :P Saying tadaima is too mainstream for Lapmon. But we know he means it and we all love him for it. |
243
I plan on going to collage to study game design. Because OCD told me too... |

I have no idea what that means. |
247
I learnt some basic game design in high school. Will probably encounter even more in the future. Guess it helps even more being involved in a couple of productions, though. :P Collage instead of college. Capital I in idea for no discernible reason. Now you're triggering my OCD. |
248.
All I do is server stuff now. :( |
249
That sounds boring, hope you find a way out of there. :/ I almost signed up for a university program which would basically have made me a server stuff person. Really glad I realised that and changed it to something interesting. Personally I wouldn't work with computers at all (aside from drawing digitally) if I could choose. |
250
I haven't done anything in game design specifically (except for a game I "made" for a Senior Project in High School), but lately I noticed that it's a lot easier for me to point out things like where the game tries to teach a player something through level design (and where they fail to do so), how well level spikes are handled, whether or not bosses are too hard and if reason dictates that they should be, etc. In that sense, I'm pretty confident. It's actually stuff like that that makes picking games apart so fun :q Plus it makes for some good education. |
251
That sounds like a great skill to have. Balancing is such a big part of game development. |
252.

My heart cannot take all these "feels." Also almost done with the Bravely Default prequel. Fairly standard storyline. |

Doesn't sound OCD to me. |
257
Aaaaaaaaaaaand what exactly are you referring to? |
Quote:
Though I'm not sure it's canonically related to Bravely Default, given that it's a Spiritual Prequel. |
259
I don't really have obsessive-compulsive disorder, to be fair. Though nowadays saying you have OCD is pretty much just synonymous with saying you like everything to be neat and notice pattern mistakes easily, and that I'm definitely guilty of. As for Netto's RPG, it appears to have similar monster design, so it might take place in the same universe or one much like it. I guess the Bravely Default multiverse makes pretty much anything possible. |
260
Self-diagnosis of things like OCD needs to stop. Insomnia too. |
261
I just have really bad sleeping habits. Diagnoses should be left to the professionals. Oh I know it's a spiritual prequel. Not saying its the actual prequel. Even the bosses are the same from the Norede Map. |
262
I love it when anime get West-Savvy Spoiler:
|
263
It's always a thing to talk about whether the studios should start incorporating western cultural stuff or keep obsessing about Sengoku rance plots. |
264
I want to draw a story set in a war-torn 16-17th century fantasy world. |
265
Titanic was pretty huge worldwide, things like that will always get referenced. Of course the odd studio like Trigger will push the western references even further because they are going after that market. I seem to remember references ranging from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Pulp Fiction to Little Black Sambo in Kill la Kill. |

After learning a lot about one of the worst and longest religious wars in history off an alt history book I do want to see this. Even today I'm still surprised at how complex and somewhat culturally modern society back then was. |

Look how fun FE10 made it. |
269
Myself I don't know that much about the societal structures and wars of that age (aside from what went on in my own country, but we were fairly behind), so I'd love to know more. I just picked the era for design reasons, to be perfectly honest. :P Like, the firearms were gorgeous. And melee weapons were still viable in combat, so it makes for all kinds of fantasy fun. Going to bed, though. Night all. |

Minami-ke and K-On! both did the bow scene. I always though there was a pretty big Western influence on their media. |
272
Sweden was at the height of its empire building during the 17th century. You really should read that book series lol. Speaking of history |
273
Oh, there definitely is; Japan's a very Westernized nation. I just didn't expect a reference like that in 2014 (well, 2013). Though it was more its usage and execution that struck me than the source. But yeah, overall, Mitsudomoe was pretty fun. Wish I hadn't marathoned it, though <_< |
274
Certainly a more interesting reference than the obvious bow one. Yup, Mitsudomoe was very enjoyable. First series was airing just as I started watching new shows every season. |
275. I'll probably get around to Mitsudomoe in 3 or 4 years at my current pace.
