Pokestick, good times. March 7th, 2015 7:58 AM

I've gotten through one puzzle in VLR so far.

Then life sort of got in the way. And whenever I feel like playing games I just casually gravitate towards Guild Wars 2.

I am a different kind of Dark Lord

The reason I haven't played Danganronpa is 1: I don't own a Vita and 2: It is so hard to talk my mom into letting me play anything that's rated "M" for somehow.

"Don't drop your drinks, I'm not buying you new ones"

Guess what happens when I walk on the icy ground not ten seconds later...

It was hilarious

Lucky for me, he bought me another round

To the first one, Playstation TVs tend to get pretty cheap. Sometime ago they dropped to $35 for a short while, which is a fantastic price.

As for the second, that's understandable- it hadn't occurred to me that some parents might be pretty adamant about what their children play which, again, is completely understandable.

Decided it was time to apply some CSS to my anime list.

It now looks horrendous because it's mid-process and but I've now started employing the tags as a sort of review system (which took a lot of work, since they're not made for that... or for multiple lines, for that matter).

I can't understand how MAL's CSS works.

>plebs

lel

Pokestick, good times. March 7th, 2015 5:38 PM

It's not easy, that's for sure.

I have to reverse-engineer their goddamn website to know what I'm working with. I'm too rusty at HTML to be doing this.

Akiba March 7th, 2015 6:25 PM

315.

I remember having to deal with MAL's CSS. I found out that the submit form strips out all the !important directives from the CSS, so basically what I did was upload my CSS somewhere else and do an @import to it. Pretty simple fix, and I could override all of MAL's CSS without problem.

You'll have to teach me this junk some day.

Meanwhile, late night spontaneous international purchases. Truly, I have become a young adult.

machomuu March 7th, 2015 7:35 PM

Indeed, I know the feel all too well.

317

Also, this is pretty late, but I just need to throw this out there: RIP Origa. If you don't know who she was, she was a Russian singer that did work in various works, most prominently Ghost in the Shell. I personally haven't watched the shows (only the first movie), but a song I know of hers well, and also just a rather interesting (and great) intro in general, Rise, was indirectly responsible for a lot of good-yet-unhealthy changes in my life, and I have a lot to thank her for.

So that's why so many people have all their CSS files offsite.

Maybe I'll dive full bore into that eventually. Been meaning to rebuild my CSS knowledge for a few years now.

Are these borderline irresponsible late night spontaneous international purchases?

Twilight-kun March 7th, 2015 10:09 PM

This is why I don't watch a lot of anime

donavannj March 7th, 2015 10:19 PM

320. I'd do more CSS if I could remember more of it since I have opportunities to use it now.

Just because I interpret something differently with Five Nights at Freddy's, people bite my head off

Despite the fact my theory goes off of facts found through out the game itself and I'm not trying to say mine is the correct one

*sighs*

This fandom just proves to me that the newer generation isn't as imaginative as ours

machomuu March 8th, 2015 2:22 PM

326

Can we not do that here please?

FNAF3 is already the splash for the Video Games section, REALLY close up, and as much as I respect FNAF, it's bad for my health. For reasons. But I may die from it one of these days, no joke. Or at least go insane, and once the hallucinations start for me, it's all over.

Twilight-kun March 8th, 2015 2:32 PM

327

Oh, it's not that bad

Sorry for spooking you

Pokestick, good times. March 8th, 2015 3:08 PM

328

Quaint.

machomuu March 8th, 2015 3:12 PM

Oh, it's no problem.

328

It's just that I'm an overthinker to the max, and after something of an incident when I was younger, I stayed away from everything horror for 8 years, and when I finally decided to get back into it casually, I chose Five Nights as the first Horror thing to deal with. It was a really bad idea, still recovering.

Now I have to avoid FNAF, which is a shame. I originally experienced it through Markiplier's playthroughs of 1 and 2 (in marathon format), and I really enjoy the design choices and the story, but it has mad adverse effects on me. So I haven't really experienced much of 3 save for the stills that are in the VG section and hearsay, but I know the premise.

Twilight-kun March 8th, 2015 3:41 PM

329

The games are fine; I'd even go so far as to say amazing
The idea, the design, the atmosphere, is spot-on

The fandom, however....

Well, you know what they say

"Can't think of anything nice, don't say anything at all"

I have my theory, but I don't go around shoving it down everyone's throats in ALL CAPS

HEY GUYS, MY IDEA IS THE BEST, WANNA HEAR IT?

To each their own; be civil about it
