___ reached level 100!

What was the first Pokemon that you levelled to 100? How long did it take you? How did you feel when you levelled your first Pokemon to 100?

The First Pokemon I leveled up to Lv100 was Charizard along with a Raichu, it took me one week. the only reason was curiousity for new Moves.. and when they reached Lv100 my reaction was "oww Sh*t now I won't get new moves!" it explains all Eh? ^_^

Fist ever whas Blastoise In pokemon Blue.
I got him lv 100 In the first week I got the game lol.
No Idea how manny Our's I have Put in the game

Hiatus March 19th, 2014 5:52 PM

I think it was Blastoise in Pokémon Blue, if I remember correctly. I was a terrible player back then, so it was quite a difficult task for me. xD" Second would be Charizard, with Venusaur being third.

My first level 100 Pokemon was Blastoise in Red. I can't remember how long it took me to get him there. It felt like a long time, but since I soloed the game with Blastoise, I doubt it actually took all that long. I recall some other kids I knew telling me that Pokemon would die upon reaching level 100, so I was really worried about getting my Blastoise there. Needless to say, I decided to test out the level up at the Elite Four, planning to reset the game if my Blastoise died. Apparently, I didn't know about the game's autosave after beating the Elite Four, so if reaching level 100 really had killed my Blastoise, I would have been in trouble. Obviously, reaching level 100 didn't actually cause any harm, and made me one of the first people I knew to have a level 100 Pokemon, so in the end, I was quite proud of the accomplishment.

Metapod

Nah. It was probably Venusaur. I think it took me about a week or so.

My first level 100 Pokemon was my Typhlosion, Thomas, in Gold version. I trained him up to 99 and I remember using a spare Rare Candy on him while in Mt. Silver. For a very long time, he was my only self-raised level 100. I don't count the Pokemon raised with glitched/cheated Rare Candy like from the Missingno glitch.

This year, I got my second level 100 Pokemon ever, my Talonflame, Terry, in Y version.

Notably, they're both named after family members. Thomas is my twin brother, and Terry was my uncle.

It's hard to remember what it was exactly. I'm sure I've gotten a few 100s in Red/Yellow, but can't remember 100 percent. (Not a pun). The first 100 I do remember , though , was a Meganium in Gold. Great times. :3

My first Pokemon to get that high was my shiny female Mienfoo (then evolved to Mienshao) in White 2 (actually caught her in Black2 but transfered her over to my White 2, today she is now in my Y team). It took me almost a month. Two months later in the same game (White 2) I got my 2nd level 100, male Watchog (took me almost 3 months)

I'm such an awful trainer lol, I've never had a Pokemon reach Lv 100 apart from an event Arceus that came at Lv 100 anyway lol. :( My team on White is all in the 70s but the highest level I've grown a Pokemon to is Rhyperior in Diamond which is around Lv 82 iirc. I just lack the motivation/dedication/time to grow my Pokemon to Lv 100 :(

Brendino March 20th, 2014 11:41 PM

The first two Pokemon that I managed to get up to level 100 weren't mine to begin with, and they were a Charizard and Blastoise, both in FireRed. I got both of them in their final evolutions, so I don't really consider them the first Pokemon I got there.

Of the Pokemon I trained myself, the first that I got to level 100 was my Butterfree in HeartGold. It's still one of my favorite Pokemon to use, and it'll probably be the first Pokemon I transfer over to Y when I finally get around to it.

Kikaito plush March 21st, 2014 3:23 AM

my first was my Pikachu on Pokemon Yellow it took about 5 weeks to raise it to 100.

Snubbull March 21st, 2014 5:38 AM

My first level 100 was the Lapras you get in Red. I was struggling so hard to pick a water pokemon, and who could be better? It took a long while...I kept beating the elite four over and over to help boost it

Germaniac March 29th, 2014 5:15 AM

My Typhlosion in Pokemon Crystal, it only took a day (non-stop) back then in 2008, it was played in VBA since I never had Gameboy so don't be surprised xD

Meksal March 29th, 2014 8:03 AM

My first was a Volcarona, which is now gone because I washed him in a washing machine. He was level 70, took me about 2 days of elite 4 farming.

Schizii March 29th, 2014 8:19 AM

Hmmm...
My first was probably actually a ninetails named Vanilla in my Gold version. vuv
I loved her. <3

Megan March 29th, 2014 8:36 AM

My Blastoise in Blue, followed closely by Mewtwo. That was at the time when I only used one Pokemon to play through the games. I think I managed to beat the game with it being somewhere in the 70s, the reason why it actually reached Lv. 100 was that I trained a lot of Pokemon afterwards.

Pendraflare March 29th, 2014 7:05 PM

I don't remember what my first was that wasn't cheated with the Rare Candy glitch. It might have been something in Gen III, but I do remember my Infernape in Pearl being one of the first I got without using that.

I've since obtained plenty in my White 2 thanks to Join Avenue services.

Pillodox April 6th, 2014 4:37 AM

Gyrados: Obtained from Platinum as Level 90 Magikarp. Traded afterwards
Hydreigon: Obtained from White as Level 38 Deino. Currently on Y.

Fenris April 6th, 2014 7:42 PM

My first level 100 was a Wailord a friend cheat coded for me so I could complete the Regi puzzle in Pokemon Ruby. It was my first game and I didn't know what I was doing.

I think my first legit one was my Empoleon in Pearl though. That penguin took more hours of my life training than I care to admit, haha.

Elaitenstile April 6th, 2014 7:45 PM

Kadabra, in my first Ruby game. I tried level him up countlessly in the hope that he will evolve. I first saw Pokémon in the anime and I never really understood that we have to trade him to evolve. I've lost that save file unfortunately.

Platina Berlitz April 6th, 2014 7:56 PM

My first level 100 was my Persian in blue. I grinded so much in the Elite Four to get it that far. It was pretty tedious, but well worth it

Fernbutter April 6th, 2014 8:38 PM

It was actually my Charizard and Jolteon at the same time, in FireRed. During the elite four.
It felt pretty satisfying, I mean using Thunder Shock and Flamthrower on everything isn't exactly what I would call strategy, but in the end, it was definitely something, so yeah.

Cilicica April 6th, 2014 9:51 PM

I don't think I've ever trained a pokemon to level 100. The farthest I got was somewhere in the 80's because back then it was such a pain to train. But I'm currently leveling up some of my event legendaries so they're almost there (they're lvl 80 and up right now).

Sheep April 10th, 2014 11:24 AM

iirc, Banette in Sapphire. It didn't take long since I think Banette was really easy to level in the third generation and I loved it so much that I trained another one, this time male, to 100 too. 8D It served me really well but I'm.. not really sure if I still have it, sadly.
