3DS not finding my Wi-Fi's access point
If this is more appropriate in Video Games please move it.
I've had no problems with my 3DS connecting to my Wi-Fi since I've bought it , but now it has been having problem connecting. I've reseted the router and deleted the connection on my 3DS multiple times and even after all that, I still can't find my wi-fi's access point. Any idea what's going on or how to fix it? I have Charter Internet by the way in case that's important. |

Did you try doing a manual set up? Make sure all of the fields are filled in correctly. You need the SSID, the security key, and possibly the MAC address of the router. If you don't know how to find those, there should be instructions on Google. Make sure you have IP and DNS set up to be configured automatically (unless you want to try screwing with your DNS settings, in which case use 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary and 4.2.2.{1-6} tertiary if needed).
Make sure other wireless devices are able to connect. Also, make sure you're actually in range. |
