Questions game.

So when you're meeting someone new and you decide you get to want to know more about them, and they want to get to know more about you, usually you ask each other questions. I've heard this called by a lot of people I know around my area as the questions game, but I think that can be confusing to some since that's actually a real game.

What are some good questions you ask that help you get to know someone a little better? Please list as many as possible to help people out! I'm kind of making this thread because I want to get to know one of my friends better and ask her some questions, but I can't think of any! In the past, this is usually what I do when I meet new people, but my mind's gone blank this time, and I want to ask her some good ones! (:

Oooo. So I recently met my girlfriend, through craigslist believe it or not.

We played the question game a whole two weeks before meeting. And we're going on six months now, hell, we're hoping to move in together.

There are the basics, but the important questions are the ones that are unique and make you laugh and might even start light hearted conversation. Some I remember:

"If your life was a cheesy 90's sitcom, what would it be called?"
"What would your life's theme song be?"
"What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?"
"If you can choose an actor to play who, who would you choose?"
"If you could be stuck in any TV show for the rest of time, which one?"

You get what I'm saying? Not super personal, but still, you'll learn things about the person, trust me.

Do you embrace the Darkness?
What is your opinion on blood sacrifice?
Masochist or sadist?

usually the first question I ask is "what kind of music are you into?" because I'm a freaking nerd.

after that I just go with the flow.

start with generic, what music, whats your favourite movie etc.etc.

If they have ♥♥♥♥ taste consider ditching at this point

Then move on to questions about their personal life past/present if they follow suit then it's all good, if not consider bail. get more and more personal eg. "most embarassing moment of your life", "grossesst/worst thing you ever did / made someone else do" until A) you realise they are uncomfortable and you know you've hit the line, or B) you eventually reach sexual questions

If I feel like I can't be myself right away with this person I'll probably start with two or three generic boring questions that I actually don't care what the answers will be and then go straight into sexual questions. I rather find out all the sexual things about you first and then see if you're interesting enough to find out other things. yeah idk I'm ♥♥♥♥ed.

"How are you?"
"What's your name?"
"How many relationships have you been in?"
"How many times have you had sex?"
"How much do you weigh?"
"What bands do you like?"
"What is your favorite food?"
"Do you want to date me?"

I only really try to talk to girls.

I feel like generic questions are becoming obsolete \: Or maybe that's just me because whenever I meet people nowadays, I never ask them those generic type of questions in the beginning or once we've developed a sense of friendship; I have no idea what my close friends' favourite colours are even after knowing them for like 5+ years.

I ask whatever comes to mind, no matter how stupid it sounds. :P

That's me! :P I've never really been the one to play the questions game, but if I have, they're pretty much questions that pop into my head that.
