Pokemon Amie
Do you think Pokemon Amie will be the "bottom screen" function of ORAS? Would you like Amie to return or do you want something else, like the Poketch or the HGSS menu on the bottom screen instead? Or ability to switch? Etc? Since there is no bottom screen in RSE games it really could be anything.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Amie was on the bottom screen. I wouldn't mind it, I liked Pokemon-Amie :D |
I hope the PokeNav is on the bottom screen! I hated Pokemon Amie and all that Super Training stuff. Super useful, but a real drag whence it served its purpose. It also just felt like a bunch of extra fluff to me. I love extra features and maybe I'm being critical, but... it's something ORAS could do without, ya know?

Pokemon Amie was one of my fave, if not the absolute fave, new features in X and Y so I do hope they can retain it for this game. I really want to pet some of my old Hoenn faves like my beloved Mudkip! Even if the PokeNav comes back, I'd rather it be a Key Item or something, or if it does go on the bottom screen, at least switch between it and Amie.

I think that'd be great if Pokémon-Amie will return in Omega Ruby and Aqua Sapphire, and just like Hikari said, I'd like if Pokémon-Amie can be switched along with PokéNav if it will become the part of bottom screen.
|
I'd like to be able to switch between Amie, Super Training, and PSS and that. Maybe have the bottom screen be the combined PokéNav/menu screen with tabs for everything? idk. I'd really only like Amie to make a comeback if 1) contests are as well and 2) it can have features applicable to contest stuff. Like grooming. :D

Also, I think the Sinnoh-based games had an application where you could keep track of Berries? Even though I usually just go to the Berry Master's house to utilize his Berry plots (which really needs a Fly access point, by the way >_>) to plant Berries, such an application would be nice to see! |
I want the PokeNav to be down there if you know what I mean. It makes sense, to be honest. However, I'd like to have super training, too! It was very useful for those who are fond of tailoring their Pokemon's stats, like me.

I hope they have Pokemon aime and the rest of the stuff added in XY as well as the Pokenav from the originals at the bottom.
|
I really do hope they keep pokemon amie in ORAS...or else I will be really sad. ;-;
It was one of my most looked forward to features of X and Y, and I wasted a LOT of time just petting and feeding pokemon. It really helped me get attached to certain ones, and even made me like some of them that I didn't like before. I kinda hope it will be a feature forever but I also kind of doubt they will keep doing it. But I do hope for the next game, it will still be there. I wouldn't mind if they added more slides to the bottom screen though. They could add more but still keep amie. |
Pokémon-Amie is a funny feature but I didn't like it past feeding my Pokémon a few candies and playing with them five times since the games are too few. I wouldn't mind if they scrapped it. I played through most of X and Y without even touching it.
Hope there's Super Training, though. |
I think that Amie will be included in OR/AS because it's necessary to evolve Eevee into Sylveon.

I really hope Pokemon Amie comes back, I think it's really fun! I like the touch screen system in X and Y where Amie, Super Training and the PSS are on the bottom along with the start menu option so hopefully they just bring that back and add the PokeNav with it. |

I'd say the only thing I'd want to return in OR/AS is Super Training. Reset bags are probably the best items in the entire game.
|
I feel like maybe Pokemon Amie will be accessed in the PokeNav and used to augment Contests in some way.
|
I liked how HG/SS was setup so that you could access every single menu from the touch screen. I think they could do something like that and still include Pokémon Amie and all of the other features. I think they will retain Pokémon Amie because of how well it did. I never used Super Training (did anyone else? I've heard nothing about it). The main thing is they could keep all of this stuff without it taking up all of the screen.

Pokémon Amie was so much meh. I didn't really see the point of it, other than getting some ribbon wizard of an Eeveelution. But down there is the PokéNav hands down. Obviously, they would add the Dowsing Machine and the features that are staple in the devices so far, and Amie could be one of the applications of it, but I don't really see more than that.
|
I dont know but Amie was a great feature in XY so I wouldnt mind having it in ORAS
|
I hope they place Pokemon Amie into the PokeNav, personally. I really do hope to see it make a comeback. Being able to play with my Pokemon in my Secret Base while sitting on a pink chair watching shows on a Skitty-shaped TV sounds like the most amazing thing in the world, to me.

Pokémon Amie was a big fan favourite. In X&Y, it was one of the most enjoyed features by players. Nintendo tend to hold onto things that do well, and assuming that we have a game in the same full 3D style as X&Y; it won't be too much bother for them to bring Amie into the new games. I imagine that if these games are set further on in the timeline than the original Ruby/Sapphire games, then we might see a new version of the PokéNav with some of the new features from the more recent games.
