Brendan and May What role will Wally play? I pretty sure he'll be in the same role as RS What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan would be the 8th gym leader, Steven would be Champion and Wallace would be Contest Champion. Will there be any other League-related changes? Not sure Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? I don't think Scott will make a return. only if there is a emerald remake. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? I don't think there will be a bi role for Rayquaza. Sorry mate. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Groudon: Ground|Fire/Drought/a strong water type move/ Kyogre: Water|Dragon/Drizzle/a strong ground type move/ — their roles in the games will be? I think their roles will be the same as the roles they had in RS — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? I think the megastones will be something else cause the Red/Blue orbs only controls their actions. Not change their form. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Only some: Ruby: Spoiler:
Sapphire: Spoiler:

Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May, depending on gender. The opposing gender you've picked will be your rival in the game(s). What role will Wally play? A sickly Pokemon Trainer with huge dreams, just like in the originals. However, he will be much more powerful in the remakes with possibly a Mega Gardevoir in his team later on. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Wallace will be the gym leader of Sootopolis City, Juan will be a master pokemon coordinator and Steven will be the champion of Hoenn. Will there be any other League-related changes? Possibly different TMs will be given out (such as Scald instead of Water Pulse), and different gym designs/E4 room designs. Besides that, not much difference besides graphics. Rematches, however, are expected. E4 members should have a full team of 6. Steven will have a mega evolution in his team. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Probably, since the remakes of the Pokemon series tend to take some gameplay plots from the enhanced versions (in this case, Emerald). He will probably be similar to what he did in Emerald, and in the end bringing you to the Battle Frontier. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? Not much, just like the original Ruby/Sapphire. You will simply head over to catch it after defeating the Pokemon League. However, I guess more NPCs will mention or talk about Rayquaza as compared to Ruby/Sapphire. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Mega Groudon Type: Ground/Fire Ability: Drought Signature Move: Thousand Waves (90 Power, Physical, Ground) Mega Kyogre Type: Water/Psychic Ability: Drizzle Signature Move: Tidal Waves (90 Power, Special, Water) - Probably a special water-type Thousand Waves. — their roles in the games will be? Much like in the originals, they will be awakened by Team Magma/Aqua. However, unlike the originals, Team Magma/Aqua will be able to control them in the seafloor cavern and use them to battle you in their Mega form. Once they lost, Groudon/Kyogre will be in a rampage and leave the seafloor cavern, causing destruction to the weather. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Mega evolved via the Groudonite/Kyogreite. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Similar to the originals, I assume. Plusle/Minun, Solrock/Lunatone, Latias/Latios and of course Groudon/Kyogre. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Yes. Probably post game in swarms or in a new place (Sevii Islands could return). What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Latias/Latios, Groudon/Kyogre, Swampert, Sceptile, Plusle, Minun, Dusknoir. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Devon Co. might be the one giving you the Mega Ring and Latias/Latios will probably be given by Devon Co. after capturing, starter mega stones by Prof. Birch. Groudon/Kyogre will hold the mega stone. The Anistar City-like sundial that allows you to find mega stones can be located at Mt. Pyre. Other Mega stones can be bought in the Lilycove department store or won with BP. New areas to be introduced? Sevii Islands could make a comeback with Hoenn. Together with event islands not introduced in R/S but in Emerald. Ideas for post-game content? Sevii Islands, Battle Frontier, Gym/Elite Four/rival rematches, Mega stone hunt, CONTESTS, events. |
Who will be the protagonists?
May and Brendan but you can customize their outfits. They will have more summery themed clothing since Hoenn is a summery type of region. They could even have different colours of their original outfits! What role will Wally play? What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Steven will be champion, Wallace will be the 8th gym leader and Juan will be the champion of contests. Will there be any other League-related changes? I think they'll keep the same league members but their teams will change. Megas will probably be apart of their teams. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? I think Rayquaza will be in the story as the big legendary to beat at the climax of the story. Kyogre and Groudon will combine together to make Rayquaza super powerful and the player will have to defeat it. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? — their roles in the games will be? — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? New areas to be introduced? Ideas for post-game content?
I'll work on this later. |
Who will be the protagonists?
I think the characters will kinda look like May and Brendan, but again I think it's possible to alter the characters just like it was in X and Y (different clothes and hair colours etc.). What role will Wally play? I think Wally may still be a great rival/friend in-game, and think he might make a return in these games but some changes to his character are possible. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan - I'm not entirely sure if Juan would appear again, since he only had a small role in Emerald… Wallace - Very likely he returns as the Gym Leader from Sootopolis Gym Steven - I think there is a good chance Steven will be busy with the Mega Stones and all that, since he seemed to focus on stones in the original series. It would be a logical choice imo. Would be nice to see him back as the Champion of the Elite Four too. Will there be any other League-related changes? I think the Elite Four Pokemon might change, because there are a lot more Pokemon known by now. Think of Gen.4 to Gen.6, a lot has changed since the original R/S/E games came out, I think these will be put to good use. Maybe even some more Mega Evolutions added in these battles, who knows? Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? I kinda do hope Scott, or someone equal to this character, returns because I think the Battle Frontier in Emerald was a great addition and should definitely make a comeback in ORAS. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? I think the same in a way that Rayquaza maintains the balance between Groudon and Kyogre, meaning also, the balance between earth/land and sea/ocean ('cause known environments are in fact; Sky, Oceans and Land). But, I think there will be some great addition to this, some new discovery or so we have to find out in ORAS. Maybe there is much more behind this story. And maybe, Rayquaza also gets another forme or even a Mega Evolution like Kyogre and Groudon seem to have (notice their forme is different now from the original R/S/E games, so they might have another forme imo). Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? I definitely think Groudon should be Fire/Ground finally, because I always seem to feel that Groudon should be at least a Fire-type. He just looks like one to begin with, and he seems to be some sort of "Volcano creature" meaning Ground/Fire fits him perfectly. As for Kyogre, Water/Dragon suits him well because he is in fact a large "Sea creature", and dragons are often used in mythology as very large beings that rule certain areas/environments of the world, therefore I think adding the Dragon-type is a great addition. — their roles in the games will be? I think it might be the same like it was back in R/S/E, meaning keeping the land and sea in order but there is also a possibility it could be entirely different this time. Maybe the leaders of Team Aqua and Magma retired for several years and made a comeback, trying to mess with the formes of Kyogre and Groudon and it got way out of hand this time… But I do think for sure land and sea again make a great re-appearance in the story. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? I definitely think the Red and Blue orbs should maintain this purpose. We also still have the Adamant Orb (Dialga) and Lustrous Orb (Palkia) for example, return in Gen.6. These Items remained untouched, so I do think they should leave these Items like they were back in the original games. However, I don't think the Red and Blue Orb should serve as the possible "Mega Stone". They should stay with the concept of specific Mega Stone names, and the Blue and Red Orb would be used to summon/ get access to the lair of these legendaries. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Ofcourse, Groudon for OR and Kyogre for AS. Then, it would be nice if they returned the version exclusive legendaries Latios (for OR) and Latias (for AS) into the game as the opposite colours, I really liked that idea (Latias is red for the 'blue' AS and Latios is blue for the 'red' OR). And lastly, I think it's very possible that they add several more region Pokemon into the wild as version exclusives too (Gen.1 to Gen.6). Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? I think in the beginning there will be some Gen.5 and Gen.6 Pokemon available into the wild, and after completing the National Dex some more Pokemon will become available. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Could be totally random, but for example; Gen.5 - including: Lillipup, Patrat, Purrlion, Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Pidove, Blitzle (… and so on, those very common Pokemon) Gen.6 - including: Scatterbug, Fletchling, Bunnelby, Espurr, Skiddo, Inkay… (same as above) What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? I hope they will do something with Swampert and Sceptile now too, since it's a great opportunity and Blaziken already has a Mega Evolution so it would be only natural imo. Next, Groudon and Kyogre maybe, if they don't have an alternate forme. Same with Rayqyaza. I think Latios and Latias will have a Mega Evolution and hopefully some other Pokemon too like Salamence, Sharpedo, Flygon, Milotic… Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Some possible locations (depending on the chosen Pokemon ofcourse) would be: - Meteor Falls - the location where you could catch Bagon using Sweet Scent (Salamence) - Mt. Pyre - Some place where you could use Dive (Milotic) - Petalburg Woods - Abandoned Ship (Sharpedo) - Mirage Tower in the Desert (Flygon) New areas to be introduced? I hope the Safari Zone still exists in ORAS as well as the Mt. Pyre concept. It would be nice to add some new areas like some more Diving areas (discovering new training grounds or exclusive areas for finding wild Pokemon), some changes to Mirage Island (some more wild Pokemon and other things to do). I do hope Secret Bases make a comeback and maybe on some more different locations too. Ideas for post-game content? I truly hope there will be a large Battle Frontier concept post-game. Next, it would be nice to have some other challenges with old trainers from the original R/S/E games who will make a comeback post-game. Maybe there are some new mysteries around some existing Pokemon that could be solved post-game and catching some more Legendary Pokemon would be a nice challenge. Also, I do like the idea that you can travel to some new region-like-area or some additional Islands like it was in FireRed/LeafGreen or Platinum. The concept of Gen.5 was also nice, to add a battle area in the shape of a "maze like thing" where in the end, you have to battle a champion and you can pick a starter Pokemon. For example, I would love to re-challenge all Gym leaders and Pokemon League with new Pokemon and way better stats and higher levels. |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May. What role will Wally play? Still a rival but maybe become the champion or become a member of Magma/Aqua What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Wallace might be the 8th gym leader with Juan being a person to give advice or battle you to test you for Wallace. Steven could become the champion or have a bigger role and help you defeat team M/A Will there be any other League-related changes? Elite four pokemon may change. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Maybe, if he does he might be the one to introduce an island or give the national dex to you. And look for that awesome trainer for battle frontier. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? He will come over and save the world from Groudon/Kyogre going insane in the wild. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Fire Ground for Groudon and Water Dragon for Kyogre and custom signature moves for the two — their roles in the games will be? the same Team Aqua and Magma tries to capture them (Groudon escaping Aqua/Kyogre escaping Magma) and getting enraged and making the weather insane. One team catching the opposite to get rid of them to complete their goal of expansion. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Red and Blue Orbs, they control them so why not control their strength and make them more powerful? What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? The respective legendaries Groudon for Ruby and Kyogre for Sapphire and pssibly other legends like Latios and Latias as well, and maybe others like usual. Mawile/Sableye. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Yes, but I say maybe a select few in the wild before national dex. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? magikarp should be rare. Dedenne should be an early getter. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Sceptile and Swampert to complete the trio possibly Latios/Latias, and also Seviper/Zangoose should get Mega Evo's as well Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Well maybe the Red/Blue orb will be in the cave of origin, maybe get one from Mt. Pyre lady. Also have tge starters in places like Mt. Chimney Blaziken (after 6 badges), Route 119 Sceptile from Winona, and shoal cave Swampert. New areas to be introduced? Extended Battle frontier, travel to space, rhe islands that neighbors BF. And also Rayquaza being om an island farther away from Sootopolis and flying on his back to Sootopolis. Ideas for post-game content? epic sky battle with Winona and some new bicycle mechanics. Maybe have all Gen VI post game (version exclusive except XY mascots.) Also put in island adventure fun or fun quests throughout Hoenn. |
Who will be the protagonists?
May and Brendan, with the same and maybe slightly better customation mechanic as X/Y What role will Wally play? He will start as that noob with the Ralts, and end up as the champion with a Mega-Gardevoir What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan: A small roll Wallace: Gymleader of Sootopolis Steven: Perhaps some sort of relative who would introduce you to Mega-Stones and would help you in your adventure Will there be any other League-related changes? Maybe like the newer gen that you can choose in which order to battle them. And a Mega for each of the elite 4, ofcourse. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? He would seek for ''the'' trainer to become a battle brain of the Battle Frontier What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? He would stop Groudon and Rayquaza from fighting, just like in the original games. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? My guess is since they are mascots of the game their new types would be the same. My guess would be that they both get a second type Dragon. Their abilities would remain the same since it's a signature of them. The signature of Groudon would be Earth Power and that of Kyogre would be Water Spout. — their roles in the games will be? In Omega Ruby you would follow Team Magma and Groudon, just like in the original and in Alpha Sapphire you would follow Team Aqua and Kyogre. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Steven would have something to do with them. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? The version exclusives of Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Heartgold, Pokémon Black (2) and Pokémon X will all be in Omega Ruby. The version exclusives of Pokémon Pearl, Pokémon Soulsilver, Pokémon White (2) and Pokémon Y will all be in Alpha Sapphire. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? I think that they will include a minor amount of Pokémon of Gen IV and V and after you beat the Pokémon League you could catch the remaining. Ofcourse with version exclusives like Zangoose and Seviper — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? The Hoenn starters to balance it out. Shiftry Slaking Exploud Camerupt Flygon Metagross Salamence Crawdaunt Deoxys(all forms) The Regi's and the Lati Duo Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? In the various caves. New areas to be introduced? Ideas for post-game content? |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan + May NEW CLOTHES THOUGH What role will Wally play? Champion. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Steven explains Mega Stones. Wallace does the Weather Story Arc. Juan is just a Boss Battle. Will there be any other League-related changes? There will be a new Champion. (Maybe Wally) Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? NO. No. No. No. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? Same as Ruby/Saphire (ie. you don't catch him first.) Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Kyogre -Water - Adaptability - Waterspout Groudon - Ground - Solid Rock - Roll Out — their roles in the games will be? Same as R/S — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? The Red Orb will be a Key Item during the Plot, AFTER that it will be revealed to be a Mega Stone and be a normal item. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Same as R/S Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Not till post game (evolutions like Roselia will be available) — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Kalos mons excluded What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Hoenn Starters. Lati Twins. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? From Professor. Lati Stone found on an Island. Old Mega Stones (ones from XY) can be found during a certain time of day. New areas to be introduced? New Diving Spots, secrets to be found there in. Ideas for post-game content? Battle Frontier with brand new facilities returning facilities. 4th Gen Legend Pokemon available for capture. Specifically Heatran. |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May wil be the main protagonists - or at least the main base-style. As-in: there will be customisation options such as skin tone, and different clothes. What role will Wally play? I believe Wally will be appearing much more often, probably in every major town (or route near a town). He may also give the player a run for their money in game progression, he is likely to beat the player to every location and gym. He will probably appear as much as the friends in X/Y. I dont think he will be an aggressive rival (nor will May/Brendan for that matter), and i dont think he will have such a depressing and emotional storyline (as in, he never beats the player and really wants to)... He will still be ambitious and driven to do well though. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan: Will not appear as the 8th gym leader, but you are likely to see him in contests - almost like a gym leader of each contest hall. If he does not appear at all, Wallace is still likely to mention him, saying he owes his skill and progress in his life to him. Wallace: Will be the leader of the 8th gym, and involved in the groudon/kyogre plot once it reaches sootopolis. He will be more of a force of protection of people than actively fighting the pokemon threat. Steven: Will take his place as he was in R/S, and remain as the champion - but also as the players friend. He will also be closely tied to mega stones, either unlocking the player's potential for mega evolution or being a cornerstone for finding, selling and using megastones. He is likely to have a mega metagross, and the beldum he leaves you will be holding a metagrossite. Will there be any other League-related changes? No other league related changes - apart from maybe afew pokemon swaps if other gen pokemon are introduced. They are likely to get stronger after beating them a certain amount of times too. say, every 10 battles raises their pokemon's levels by 2-3. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? I think he will make a return, but with a more mysterious and serious demeanor. An interesting thought is him having ties to the other professors of other regions, and possibly your Dad. With this in mind , it would be exciting to battle Red-like teams that are owned by trainers that you find in the battle frontier , with each trainer having pokeomon specific to a certain region. As-in, you can battle Red (or someone like him, who has powerful kanto pokemon), or Lyra/Gold witht the same idea for their team. He will still be the recruiter for the battle frontier, but maybe you have to battle him to earn a place this time? What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? I dont believe rayquaza's role will be prominent, and if he does appear in the story, he will probably only do so to fight/stop the particular legendary. Although, if this path is followed, he would probably use a mega evolution to fight the legend. He will be found in sky pillar as usual, pst E4. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think - Groudon - Type: Fire/Ground - Or Maybe Ground/Steel (to do with the core/mantle of the earth containing metal) Ability: Intense Drought - Increases fire and ground moves power by one stage / Weakens water type pokemon's defense Signature Move: Terra Force / Ground / Physical / 5pp / 130 power / Sweeps the battlefield, forcing earth to erupt around the opponent Role: Legendary of Om.Ruby, will be sleeping underground and sought to be exploited by team magma Megastone: The Red orb will not be the megastone in its current form - i think after the awakening of Groudon, it will somehow modify to be a Groudonite (maybe split open to reveal it?). - Kyogre - Type: Water/Electric Ability: Intense Storm - Increases electric and water move power by one stage / weakens ground type defense Signature Move: Wave Force / Water /Special / 5pp / 130 power / Batters all opponents on the field wish intense and powerful waves Role: As above but opposite Megastone: As above but opposite What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Same as R/S but with some lower gen pokemon possibly. Common game exclusives like magby, houndour,Jynx, sneasel, slowpoke could fit in OR, and elekid, growlithe, mr mime, larvitar, seel in AS. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Most likely, but not too many. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? They will probably stick with some of the same game exclusives that were in D/P and B/W so: Purugly,Combee, buizel, lopunny, skorupi, scraggy, shelmet, rufflet in OR Stunky, burmy, shellos, bronzong, croagunk, dwebble, karrablast , vullaby in AS - of course these could be totally the wrong way around or mixed around or whatever... What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Ohh now this gets exciting, there are so many pokemon worthy of a mega evolution in hoenn, lets start: Swampert and Sceptile - Goes without saying knowing that we have Blaziken already Sceptile should also gain a secondary type with this, im thinking dark. Kyogre and Groudon (it seems they have new forms... which then leads to...) Rayquaza - I think this guy is OP anyway, but him getting a mega-evo will probably be part of the story Huntail + Gorebyss : These should be version exclusive mega stones Electrode: Although not hoenn, he needs powering up - his pal magnemite already has Magnezone!! Relicanth: Good guy, but not noticeable enough to have in my team - this ancient fish deserves a mega!! Swellow: The lack of uncommon /interesting flying types grinds my gears, so lets spice the starting birds up abit shall we? Torkoal: Again, has much potential but just not good enough. Fire types should be attackers. Cacturne: Awesome looking and already a decent mon, maybe a grass type that can finally stand out. Metagross: Courtesy of Steven. Spinda: That thing is just a freak. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Sceptileite + Swampertite: One given through story progression, and Birch will give you one more after the E4, the other being available through a vendor, maybe stephen stone. Huntailite + Gorebite: Abandoned ship (with this area being vastly expanded into an interesting new dungeon) Kyogre,Groudon and Rayquaza should all come with their mega stones, or be in the area where you battle them Electrodite: New Mauville - assuming this is also a bigger dungeon Relicanthite: In an underwater cave that is only accessible through dive Swellite: An early addition to your items, maybe given on your first meeting with the devon president Torkalite: Given by an old lady in the hot springs once you have healed a number of times in there Cacturnite: If the desert is slightly expanded (which i hope it is) an area of cactuses protected by a hoard of cacturne would be a nice feature Metagrossite: the beldum given to you by steven is holding it Spindite: It is the prize posession of the soot man, and is only given given once you have had one of every other item he offers - as he cant make any more items for you, but is still grateful for all the ash you have collected! A huff puff! New areas to be introduced? An expansion to the route directly above Rustboro city, maybe an island to house a legendary pokemon, or just where rare pokemon appear. A cave that is blocked until after the E4, that is where the battle tower is in Emerald, and this would house a currently-event exclusive like Keldeo (I really want one!!) A sub section to rusturf tunnel, an expanded area in general would be nice. Expanded and in depth area in the Abandoned Ship. Secret area in Mt.Chimney which opens up post E4, allowing the capture of a Legendary. Visiting the islands that appear so abundant on the map - it would be a nice post game exploration, possibly with non-3rd gen pokemon there. Speaking of islands: Faraway Island, Birth Island and Southern Island - Hopefully not ALL events, i dont mind working hard in the game just to get to these places - as events can be quite hit and miss... And SPACE!! Haha this rumour was so exciting to me when I was a kid - I hope we can go into space (or a successful rocket launch triggers an event) where I can catch a Jirachi of my own :) Ideas for post-game content? Apart from what already exists, and what has been mentioned above: Some missions given to you by the professor to aid his research Tracking down the remnants of Team Aqua/Magma Roaming rare pokemon hoards like in B/W |
Who will be the protagonists?
May and Brendan. What role will Wally play? He will be the rival. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan will be a Gym Leader, Wallace the Champion, and Steven the legendary wandering trainer. Will there be any other League-related changes? Their Pokemon, obviously. Along with their levels, moves and items. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Yes, he will. As the owner of Battle Frontier, or whatever it's gonna be called. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? Stoping the fight betweem Kyogre and Groudon. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Same types, Drought and Drizzle abilities and some powerful earth/water signature move. — their roles in the games will be? Being seeked for by the criminal organizations and causing natural disasters. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? They will probably be Kyogrenite and Groudonite. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Groudon, Kyogre, Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Kabutops, Electrike, Manectric, Houndour, Houndoom, Lileep, Cradily, Anorith, Armaldo, Thror, Sawk, Latias, Latios and many others. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? In various places, just like in X&Y. New areas to be introduced? Yes. I'd guess some new islands. Ideas for post-game content? Battle Frontier, championships, legendary hunting, beating the ultimate trainer, exploring new places, obtaining new items. |

-New kids, moved in from the Unova Region, 10+ years have passed since events of original Gen I/III What role will Wally play? -Wally serves as an early Fairy-type gym leader in Fallarbor Town, wanting to help inspire young trainers to take the plunge and explore the world as he once did What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? -Steven stands as the head of Devon Corp. after his father's retirement, offering the player the latest in pokenav technology early on in the game. -Wallace is a regular high-end opponent in the returning pokemon contests, but also serves as a member of the elite four. -Juan is similiarly a regular in contests, but retains his role as leader of Sootopolis Will there be any other League-related changes? -Rustboro city has boomed in the past years with the recent success of Devon Corporation. Cranes transporting heavy loads operate over the sprawling city night and day. Ferries and shipping vessels fill the city's port. People move from building to building going about their busy days. Tailows deliver messages between windows. With the city's rise in stature, the Trainer's School has become a University, with Roxanne residing as Dean on top of her Gym duties -Brawley, following the surfer's way, has become much more zen-like in the past 10 years. Not enough to stop specializing in Pokemon who punch as a main strategy, however. Little has changed in his sleepy town far away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland -Watson has aged only in beard length and still his jolly self. His gym now stands on the revamped grounds of the old Game Corner and Mauville City is a menagerie of lights, bikes, ramps and technology. -Wally, able to overcome his disease at the end of the Gen III games, sets up his gym in the small, quiet Fallarbor town. Inspired by the strength his partners had lent him so many years ago, he had chosen this town so close to the Mt. Chimney ash fields to build his gym so that he might be reminded every day what Pokemon had done for him. -Lavaridge Town, semi-secluded at the base of the volcano, has found a stable balance between the growth seen in the cities and outlier towns such as Dewford and Fallarbor. The town has increased the the use of its natural hot springs and a small-time Spa Resort run by Flannery's grandfather can be found on the grounds of the once-gym. He and his team of Masquarian, Quagsire, and Emboar can be fought after receiving the 6th Badge for the TM Scald. -Norman shows some signs of aging, but is otherwise unchanged; he still does his best to encourage young trainers to go to and see the world. A simpler Pokemon Trainer school can be found here as well as many more residential buildings than the Gen III titles -Winowa has matured and still maintains her role as a strong gym leader. Her city is relatively unchanged and emphasizes the balance of people and pokemon living together in nature despite Hoenn's rapid expansion -Tate and Liza, now young adults, serve as a foil of peace, tranquility, and stability to the rapid growth and innovation happening on the other side of their island at the Space Center -Sidney, the showman, is still a member of the E4, but also doubles as the host of Pokemon Contests in his spare time -Pheobe once again fights as a member of the E4, she is met previously in the game on Mt.Pyre, assisting the player in reaching her grandmother, one of the Orb keepers -Flannery, after finding confidence in her own skill, followed in her grandfather's footsteps and became a member of the Elite Four -Glacia continues to serve as an Elite Four Member, but competes in Contests where she can -Drake stands now as the Champion of the Elite Four, a vanguard protecting the simple love and appreciation for one's own Pokemon against the single-minded masses looking only toward progress. He recognizes that his way of thinking that straight battles, a raw clashes of opposing wills, being better than the pageantry of contests or the trappings of Frontier-style battles, is old-fashioned. But he knows now, more than ever in Hoenn's history, he cannot stand by and allow the values of old fall to the wayside. That is why he, alongside the partners who saved his life, chose years ago to take up the mantle as Champion until such a day he knew the next generation could be trusted. Having explained all this to the player, he challenges them, but not before a big reveal... Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? -Scott, thanks to the explosive popularity of his Battle Frontier, is even more fantastically wealthy. He celebrates this by continuing dress like a sloppy tourist. He has revamped his park in the past few years, turning it into a massive, ocean-locked Vegas parallel. He has heeded the beliefs of Drake, whom he respects, however, and has ensured that the Frontier will never lose sight of what is important What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? -Rayquaza senses the disruption in the balance brought on by Kyogre/Groudon's mega evolution and rushes in to confront and quell the upset in nature. However, unaided against the Mega-evolved Legendary, Rayquaza is overwhelmed and struck down, a testament to the strength and unstoppability of the rampaging legend. -Upon challenging Drake, it is revealed that he had gone to Rayquaza's aid after it being struck down and, like Drake's Pokemon had once done for him, rescued Rayquaza from certain death. Before the battle with the Champion commences, Rayquaza soars into the room, coming Drake's side. After Drake's five main Pokemon are defeated, Rayquaza enters the battle and, aided by Drake, enters its Mega Evolved form. After being defeated, Rayquaza acknowledges the player and returns to Spear Pillar. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? -Kyogre: Type-Water/Dragon / Ability-Deluge: Permanent Rain (Like Drizzle used to be) / Sig Move-Undertow: Water, Special, Base 75, Acc 100, Trapping Move that does 20 water damage and holds a Pokemon for 4 turns -Groudon: Type-Ground/Fire / Ability-Solar Flare: Permanent Sun / Sig Move-Mantle Rage: Ground, Physical, Base 120, Acc 100, Ground attack that also does Fire Damage — their roles in the games will be? -After the disbanding of Teams Aqua and Magma, Team Geotic was formed of ex-members of the two teams agreeing to put aside their differences so they might defend the natural state of the planet. Geotic members are pushy, but they strive to prevent pollution and damage to the environment, and over the years they have gained the reluctant acceptance of the people. However, the recent boom in industry and tourism to Hoenn has caused an influx in the introduction of invasive species and rapid changing of the environment, sometimes too quickly for some Pokemon to keep up. Team Geotic attempted to warn the people of Hoenn of the terrible potential such rapid growth could create, but the glee of progress was too addicting and Geotic was scorned for their efforts. Suddenly, hands tied and without public support, Geotic began to loathe the greedy people of Hoenn and sought out the Red/Blue Orb as a last-ditch extreme movement. Geotic alone might not be able to slow the march of progress, but with the enhanced power of the one of the Pokemon of legend, they would have the strength to eradicate it completely: to wash the slate clean, return the land of Hoenn to Alpha, and let life begin anew, or to bring it to finality, to Omega, smite the region of life, and allow what survives to prosper. Either way, only Pokemon could be able to adapt to such an assault on the land, ensuring that humans would never again tread on the natural lives of Pokemon with their lust for progress. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? -The Megastones will probably be some sort of manipulation of the Orbs. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? -The same as the Gen III differences Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? -Yes — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? -The included Pokemon would be primarily those who can survive in average, temperate climates and transition foreseeably easily: Pokemon such as Dedene, Drilbur, Paras, Binacle, and (yes) Trubbish. These Pokemon could parallel the idea of the spread of invasive species. Most of these out-of-region Pokemon would crop up around big-time cities such as Rustboro, Slateport, or Lilycove, cities that would be getting a lot of sea trade and/or tourism from other regions in the Pokemon world. These big port cities would also be host to "traveling" NPC trainers looking to trade their region's exclusives for something unique to Hoenn, say a Baltoy or Spinda for a Scyther or Phantump. -Of course, noticeably big Pokemon would therefore not join the roster; somebody would take notice if a herd of Tauros or pack of Pangoro just hopped off a ship. "Ancient" Pokemon such as Golurk and Sigilyph would seem out of place just cropping up after so many years as well. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? -Mega Legendaries of course, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza. Swampert and Sceptile deserve one each if Blaziken's got one. Mega Seviper/Zangoose would be nice additions, and Metagross is begging for a Mega Evolution. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? -In very Easter-eggy type places: one at the bottom of a sea trench, one is a gift from a traveling salesman who always seems to be overcharging the player just noticeably enough for rare items. New areas to be introduced? -The sky. Get a chance to explore Rayquaza's realm. -Space. In the 10+ year gap between Emerald and X/Y, the world has gone from launching shuttles to collecting energy from space and beaming it down to the planet. At the very least Scott could stand to blow some cash on a Battle Satellite. Ideas for post-game content? -Fresh new Battle Frontier. Recycle many of the old facilities, but give them a fresh, flashy 3D coat of paint. The Pyramid and Dojo should make a return, but do them up to look like they're on the strip in Vegas. The Seviper building of course needs to come back, but who's to say it's not a Mega Seviper this time around? Give it 9+ Frontier Brains in the end, bring back the classics and add a couple new favorites. -Contests. Make them awesome, as if we'd actually want to do them. Imagine how great it would be to try to put on a performance in the same way the characters on the show had to. I'd come back for that. It's a great chance to cameo characters too. Mirror B would make the best Pokemon Coordinator. |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May What role will Wally play? Rival; maybe have a bit more of a role than before--in other words, you encounter him more often and get to battle him more than you did in RSE. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Steven as Champion, Wallace as eighth Gym Leader, and Juan as a rival coordinator (i.e., you go up against him in certain contests). Will there be any other League-related changes? Nope. Still Sydney w/ Dark, Phoebe w/ Ghost, Glacia w/ Ice, Drake w/ Dragon, and Steven w/ Steel. They will still have the same Pokemon at the same levels for the first battle, but afterward they will have different Pokemon at higher levels. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Yes; he will have the same role as last time, where he's looking for good Trainers who have the potential to take on the Battle Frontier. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? To stop Kyogre and Groudon from feuding. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Groudon and Kyogre will keep their types and Abilities and have no signature moves. — their roles in the games will be? Maxie gains control of Mega Groudon while Archie gains control of Mega Kyogre; both fight you with them. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Their Mega Stones will be different from the orbs since the orbs just summon them. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? OR: Seedot line, Mawile, Zangoose, and Solrock. AS: Lotad line, Sableye, Seviper, and Lunatone. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Yes; however, they may only be found post-game. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Most, if not all the Pokemon not available in XY will be available, and the legendary beasts will be roamers. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Megas Sceptile, Swampert, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Plusle, Minun, Sableye, and Jynx. (And, if you want to count them, Megas Latios and Latias, though that's a given.) Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? In various caves and towns throughout Hoenn. New areas to be introduced? Friend Safari and the Emerald Battle Frontier. Can also see Southern Island become a permanent place; perhaps it could work similar to the Nature Sanctuary in BW2 where you need to see all the Pokemon in the Hoenn dex? Ideas for post-game content? Again, the Emerald Battle Frontier will make a reappearance. As I also stated previously, Gens. IV-VI Pokemon, as well as Pokemon not initially found in the Hoenn dex, can be found post-game, possibly in the Safari Zone or Friend Safari. Lastly, you'll be able to catch certain legendaries not available before post-game, such as the legendary beasts, the Latis, and Groudon/Kyogre and Rayquaza. |
Here are my predictions:
Who will be the protagonists? Brendan and May or Two kids who now live in Brendan and Mays’ old houses. What role will Wally play? A stronger trainer than in R&S; more in-game appearances. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Um..same as in Emerald I think; 8th GL, current champion and retired champion, respectively. Steven may also be a mentor to the protagonist. Will there be any other League-related changes? No. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Yes. He will work for the Battle Frontier same as in Emerald. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? To break up Groudon and Kyogre. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Groudon: Ground/Fire / Draught / Earth Power or Fire Blast Kyogre: Water/Ice / Drizzle / Aqua Tail or Hydro Pump — their roles in the games will be? Same as in R&S. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Yes but Rayquaza will play a huge role in how the orbs are first activated. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Exactly the same as in R&S Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Yes, perhaps in a new part of the region or just integrated into the existing regional locations. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Almost all of them (not including: legendaries, starters) What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Sceptile, Swampert, Lunatone, Solrock, Zangoose, Seviper, Salamence, Metagross, Tropius, Cacturne, Latias, Latios, Cradily, Armaldo, Skarmory, Claydol, Regi Trio. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Abandoned Ship, Mt. Chimney, Mt. Pyre, Sky Pillar, Meteor Falls, Route 111 Desert, Magma Hideout, Aqua Hideout, Regi Caves, Underwater Labyrinth, Terra/Marine cave. New areas to be introduced? New islands of the coast of Hoenn, area for Jirachi, Terra/Marine Cave. Ideas for post-game content? Expanded Battle area (Battle Frontier), Catch other game mascot (Kyogre in OR, Groudon in AS), Expanded region (see above), Birth Island , Area dedicated to Jirachi, Rematch with Gym Leaders and Elite 4 |
Who will be the protagonists?
same as gen 3 games What role will Wally play? well maybe he might be the tutorial for the new gen 6 mechanics or something... I really don't know What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? I think the cnampion may be chosen at random at the beginning of the save file Will there be any other League-related changes? I sincerely doubt that. no other remakes had those. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? a random item giver? appears once per gym and gives out first a pokeball, then a great ball, then a nest ball... and finally a master ball if talked to all 8 gyms. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? er... calming kyogre & groudon Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? types will me groudon fire/ground kyogre water/ice abilities groudon solar boost (I think...) kyogre hydration — their roles in the games will be? —hmn... try the same thing (it's a remake dangit) of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? honestly, I don't know. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? bidoof, spirotomb, riolu, aipom, kricketot parat, sewaddle (don't know much about gen V) bunnelby, honedge, treevant, scatterbug, spritzee/armotzee — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? hopefully porygon-z/blissey. I can make MEvos for those if needed. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? hmn... they could be anywhere. New areas to be introduced? area to catch gen 4-6 pokemon Ideas for post-game content? said area post-game only not the best... but I tried :) |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May, of course. What role will Wally play? More or less the same. He might show up a couple more times to fight you, but his role will be the same. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Steven is the champion. Wallace will be the Sootopolis Gym leader. Juan's history as the prior leader of said gym will be referenced, but he will currently be a talented recurring Coordinator in Master-rank contests. Wallace and Juan will somehow share the Cave of Origin role. Will there be any other League-related changes? Just an aftergame rematch with different and stronger Pokemon. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? He will keep more or less the same role. He will have more forced encounters throughout the game. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? See below. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Both will retain their original types. The two will have abilities that in addition to permanently changing the weather, will also nullify the others' type. As long as Mega Kyogre is on the field, everything will be immune from Ground-type moves. Likewise for Mega Groudon and Water moves. Kyogre's signature attack will deal Water and Ice damage, and, similarly, Groudon's will do Fire and Ground damage. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? They are their Mega Stones, but they have been damaged. Rather than simply affecting them enough to Mega Evolve them, and only doing so with a Mega Ring, simply being in close proximity will Mega Evolve them and send their powers massively out of control. — their roles in the games will be? After Mega Groudon (or Mega Kyogre) have been released, with their powers out of control, the player will need to track down the Jade Orb and Rayquaza, which will stabilize the damaged Red (or Blue) orb. Then, by taking the Orb to the rampaging legendary, it will be calmed enough to be caught or defeated, ending the calamity. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Same as before. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Just Probopass and Magnezone. New Mauville will be the place to evolve them. While Eevee is not available until the post-game, the Moss Rock and Ice Rock will also be in Hoenn. The Ice Rock will be in the bottom chamber of Shoal Cave (where Snorunt is found), and the Moss Rock will be in the Petalburg woods. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Mega Latios and Latias are a given. We're also assuming Mega Kyogre and Groudon. Other than that, Mega Sceptile and Swampert, and Mega Rayquaza. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? The Red / Blue / Jade Orbs have already been discussed. The Eon duos Mega Stones will be found on Southern Island. For the starters, only the Stone for the starter you actually chose will be available, just like XY's Kanto starters. You will receive them from Prof. Birch's Kid after the battle in Lilycove. New areas to be introduced? More of the islands in the Southern half of Hoenn's sea will be visitable. Ideas for post-game content? Battle Frontier, featuring a combination of facilities from Emerald's and Gen IV's Battle Frontiers. [This is framed from Alpha Sapphire's perspective. Omega Ruby's would be much the same, but with some details reversed.] After Team Aqua and Team Magma's dissolution, the old admins from Team Magma get together, and rationalize Team Aqua's failure (ostensibly because of the damage to the Blue Orb) to be due to Aqua's flawed ideals, meaning they, Team Magma, must be right. The gather a small group of Grunts still loyal to them and start to make trouble as they search for Groudon. However, their own lack of resources mean that, before they can start seriously looking, they have to resort to petty theft. The player stops them before their search can even get off the Ground, with Archie and Maxie both returning to appeal to the Admins of Neo Team Magma to stop all this. |
Who are the protagonists?
The Protagonists are going to be the same as the originals. What role does Wally Play? Wally will be the strongest trainer at the Battle Frontier. What roles will Juan, Wallace and Steven fill? Their roles will be Juan will be the eighth gym leader, Steven will help you at certain points and Wallace will be the Champ. Will there be any other league changes? The leagues will be the same as X and Y's but they will have fairy type to make the dragon trainer not as hard to fight. Will Scott make a return? Yes and he will tell you what type the gyms are and what types the elite four are. What role will Raquaza play? I think he will be caught after gym eight. If Grondon and Kyoger get mega evolutions the types will be ground/psychic for Grondon and water/fairy for Kyoger the abilities might be new ones like extreme heat (burns all non ground or fire types) and trenching (which slowly drowns all non water or flying types). The roles might be the same as Emerald the mega stones might be unique for each game. I think there will be no version exclusives except for Grondon and Kyoger. will there be gen 4 to gen 6 Pokémon in the wild? yes and they might let you get every starter on a special island. The included ones could be any common natives to every region. Mega evolutions are Swampert and Sceptile. all starters might hold their mega stones. New areas might be travelling to Kanto and Sevie islands. Team Magma and Aqua will not end because they will get revenge on you right after you enter the hall of fame and you have to fight them before the game's credits start. |
Who will be the protagonists?
i'd say by default Brendan and May however the option of customisation will still be there (in the same way Serena and Calem are the protags of X/Y but you can customise them) What role will Wally play? The second and superior rival same as R/S/E What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Since its R/S i think Juan will either not be in it or else possibly a side character as wallace's mentor, wallace will be sootopolis gym leader and steven the champion Will there be any other League-related changes? i doubt it Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? if they include a battle frontier akin to emerald then yes simply as "That Guy" who appears sometimes and says stuff then introduces you to the battle frontier, otherwise no. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? Stop Kyogre and Groudon fighting akin to Emerald Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Ground/Fire and Pure Water, Drought and Drizzle, i dont think they will get any new moves on top of what they have. — their roles in the games will be? Version exclusive legendary to catch with the other being available post game with rayquaza, being pursued by aqua and magma. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Nah they will keep with "Gyaradosite" and whatnot with "Kyogreite" and "Groudonite" What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Same as R/S so basically Seedot Line, Lotad line, lunatone and solrock etc Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Postgame certainly but otherwise no i think it will just be the standard hoenn dex — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Lati twins are allready confirmed through hackers groudon/kyogre are possibilites and Sceptile/Swampert will likely get ones considering blaziken already has one Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Groudon/Kyogre likely within their chambers and the starters will probably be what it was in X/Y in that you are given one at a point in the story corresponding to your starter and the others can be purchased or found somewhere. New areas to be introduced? A Battle Frontier would be nice, other than that nothing is wrong with hoenn. Ideas for post-game content? again, BRING BACK THE BATTLE FRONTIER though perhaps different pokemon however maintaining any signature pokemon that they may have had (Cant have brandon without his regis) and introduce perhaps a new area akin to the battle zone in D/P/Pt with other region pokemon and rare items maybe even a Stark Mountain esque dungeon with a legendary inside. |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brandon, and may, with slightly new looks, probably a more upgraded emerald one and maybe some customization to them as well. What role will Wally play? He will play your true rival but have an updated team, maybe a mega gardevoir also, and have more moments in the story. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Wallace will be the eight gym leader but post game you can fight him and juan in a double battle daily. Steven will be the champion and your mentor in mega evolution. Will there be any other League-related changes? All members will stay the same but have megas and updated levels. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Yes, he will take you to the new and improved battle frontier and maybe if we beat the battle frontier he will let us battle him. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? Rayquazza will either be summoned to stop the main legend by mega evolving or he will just be there post game with a little story to it. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. Type for groudon: fire and ground. Ability is eternal drought, where it stays sunny until he is defeated. Kyroge: Water and psychic. Ability will be eternal drizzle, where same as groudon he has to faint for the rain to end. We will also find out the orbs are actually mega stones. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Same as the original, but may have newer gen pokemon to, like shelmet and karrablast or pumpkaboo and phantump. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Yes, all of X and y's dex pokemon will show up with hoenn pokemon and a few other non available pokemon in kalos like shellos east and west. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? All of the trademarked pokemon at the moment, and megas for the jhoto starters, the regis, metagross, kyroge, groudon, rayquazza, maractus, masquerin, slaking, warlein, flygon, honchkrow, mismagius, and ursaling. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? in key areas to the storyline such as the space center, birch's lab, gyms, etc. Also some new areas post game can have them. New areas to be introduced? Yes, like heart gold and soul silver we will see several new areas, most will be minor additions though, except for a few which may hold legends. Ideas for post-game content? Add the battle frontier, a new training facility like the battle tower in black 2, pokestar studios, master contests to compete in for doing well in others, and the second region hinted in x and y to make up for no postgame and add more to both game's plots, plus give new mega stone locations and maybe some never before seen pokemon. |
Who will be the protagonists?
Logically Brendan and May, maybe changed up a little What role will Wally play? Same role he did in Gen 3 i think. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan will still be Gym Leader, Steven is the champion and Wallace will probably be in the pokemon league elite four Will there be any other League-related changes? I don't really think so Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? I do think so. Same as before, he'll introduce the trainer to the Battle Frontier. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? The same as in Gen 3, but well now you'll also have something aobut Mega Rayquaza Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Groudon--> Will probably be Ground and Steel or Fire maybe Kyogre--> Kyogre will be water and maybe Ice or Ground or something like that. — their roles in the games will be? Same as before. Token legendaries of Hoenn. Slightly angrier this time in their Mega forms. - of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? I think the Red and Blue orbs will have much more creative names rather than just Red and Blue, maybe somthing related to their names, or like Omega Stone and Alpha Stone. :P What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Probably you'll get more legendaries from other generations or something, like Entei in ruby and Suicune in saphire Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Yeah, probably, or maybe only after you complete the Pokedex or something What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? All of the starters, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza and maybe like Wailord and Tropius. Probably Glalie too. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? I myself think the same as in Gen 3 New areas to be introduced? Maybe an extra little area sort of like Sevii Islands Ideas for post-game content? Battle Frontier and maybe this extra area (eg. Sevii Islands) |
Who will be the protagonists?
May and Brendan will likely reprise their roles, just as the previous remakes. What role will Wally play? Wally will probably be like Blue in the original versions, but less of a jerk. He might become Champion, but I think that might be saved for post-game events. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan and Wallace will be the Sootopoli Gym Leader and Hoenn Champion, respectively, and Steven will probably drop hints on how to make the story progress, as well as introduce the player to Battle Tower or, more likely, the Battle Frontier. Will there be any other League-related changes? I don't think there will be any other changes to the League. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Scott might be a boss trainer in a Frontier facility. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? Rayquaza will be the mediator, again, between to Groudon and Kyogre. But due the antagonist team, they may try to splice Rayquaza with the opposite Legendary. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Mega Kyogre might be Water/Flying, with Hydration. Signature move might be Monsoon, which is the Water version of Hurricane, with base power of 120, 85% accuracy and gains an extra 30 power in the rain, as well as 100% accuracy. Mega Groudon might be Ground/Fire, with Sheer Force. Signature Move might be Lava Stream. Move is similar to Hyper Beam and Flame Thrower, with base power of 140 and 90% accuracy. — their roles in the games will be? Mega Kyogre will flood the whole region, putting every city underwater. Mega Groudon must be used by the player in order to reverse or prevent that. It works well reversed. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? The Megastones will fragments of the orbs, with the Blue Fragment being the Mega Stone of Groudon and the Red Fragment being the Mega Stone of Kyogre. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? It will be similar to the original, with Volbeat becoming exclusive to Alpha Sapphire and Illumise becoming exclusive to Omega Ruby. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Generation IV-VI Pokemon will not be available until after the main story is completed. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Some Pokemon might include Pidove, Bidoof, Drilbur, and Croagunk. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Mega Tropius, Mega Slaking, Mega Hariyama, Mega Mylotic, Mega Relicanth. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? The stones will be hidden around the area in which the Pokemon or it's previous evolution are found. They will be hidden in areas that are only accessible with Dive and Waterfall. New areas to be introduced? New underwater areas to search for Mega Stones. Ideas for post-game content? Battle Frontier will make a reappearance in the games. |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May. Chances are though, it'll be three choices like in X and Y. Name's the same. What role will Wally play? The semi-rival role like back at RSE. I think something like a post-game battle with him might happen. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan: 8th Gym Leader Wallace: Champion Steven: All-powerful final boss Judging by PWT obviously. WHY IS WALLACE IN THE CHAMPIONS THERE? D: Will there be any other League-related changes? Aside from roster change, how the Elite four system will appear like. As in, it won't be the traditional way since we have seen a system where we choose our own order since the past two generations. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? If the Battle Frontier exists, he will return as that random dude that created the Battle Frontier, mcuh like Emerald. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? It will wait quietly and stop the big fight when we ask it. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Their types will stay the same. Their abilities will stay the same. Their signature move will be something that utilizes the weather. seriously, Mega Evolutions doesn't always equals getting a new typing — their roles in the games will be? They have a big battle, but by the time Rayquaza appears the other leaves while our version exclusive wrecks havoc around Sootopolis. Don't think they'll even be able to Mega-evolve, but if they're able to, it'll be while they were under their respective team's controls. this is probably the only scenario I can think of, mixing the two storylines — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? It'll be something their respective team made up from the Blue/Red Orbs. But considering that we can return the orbs to Mt. Pyre, it'll probably be something made up by Team Aqua/Magma. Either way, Team Aqua/Magma has some sort of connection to them. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Obviously what was version-exclusive back at RS, as well as several post-game Pokemon. But I won't say Kyogre/Groudon as I believe they'll situate it like how they did in Emerald. Plus, HGSS placed in both Ho-Oh and Lugia, so I think they'll do the same too. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? They'll be post-game content. But they'll be available anyway. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Pre-post-game: Pre-evolutions and evolutions of Hoenn-natives. Post-game: I... don't know. But I believe in Desert Underpass and the other fossils to be available there. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Swampert, Sceptile, Sableye (That poor thing), Kyogre, Groudon, Milotic, Metagross... Meh, I got nothing else. Also, Jynx. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Maybe like in XY, hidden all across the region or just given to you. But they're all only available post-game anyway. Metagross' Mega stone will be from the Beldum you got from Steven. Milotic's Mega stone will be given to you after finding Wallace wandering around Hoenn. New areas to be introduced? Hmm... I'm not sure, but there are quite a lot of islands at the south of Hoenn. I'd at least expect some to open up as post-game content. Ideas for post-game content? Battle frontier, those random islands at the south... ...Meh, I got nothing. |
Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May, but their appearances will be customizable this time. What role will Wally play? The same as in the originals - teaching how to catch Pokemon, then two battles. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan won't appear in the game, but will be mentioned a few times. Wallace will be the Sootopolis Gym Leader and Steven will be the champion who is encountered when giving him the letter early on and at the Mossdeep Space Center. He'll still give the player a Beldum post-game, too. Will there be any other League-related changes? Aside from aesthetics and gym redesigns, no. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Yes, in the same capacity as Emerald. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? He will descend upon Sootopolis a la Emerald and will be catchable after defeating the champion. The boxart legendaries will only be obtainable in the games they are on the cover in, though. Groudon in Sapphire and Kyogre and Ruby will return to their respective caverns, while the other will retreat into the Cave of Origin. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Groudon will be Ground/Fire and will keep Drought. Kyogre will be Water/Ice and will keep Drizzle. Neither will have a signature move. — their roles in the games will be? None. The Mega Evolutions won't be available until postgame. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? The Mega Stones will be born from the orbs. See below. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? The same as in the originals, plus a few additional ones such as which Fossil Pokemon are available in the Ruin Maniac Tunnel, Finneon/Frillish, Buneary/Glameow, and Yamask/Elgyem. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Yes. They will only be available post-game in areas such as the Safari Zone extension. Included Pokemon will include Frillish, Kricketot, Cherubi, Darumaka, and all others not obtainable in X and Y except for starters and legendaries. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Sceptile, Swampert, Latios and Latias, Salamence, Milotic, Claydol, Slaking, Kyogre, Groudon Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Professor Birch will give you the one corresponding to your starter for beating the champion. Groudon and Kyogre's will be hidden in the Cave of Origin post-game when you take their orb to where you fought them, and whichever Lati is roaming will be holding theirs by default. The rest will be available at the Battle Frontier. New areas to be introduced? None, although I expect parts of the sea routes to be redesigned so it's not too easy to get lost amongst Tentacool. Ideas for post-game content? Battle Frontier once again. Roaming [email protected] once again. Mega Evolutions will only be available post-game. Mega Stones, excluding those listed in the above question, can be bought at the Battle Frontier with BP. You will be able to fight your rival (Brendan/May) daily at the Battle Frontier. You can get a free Johto starter for completing the National Pokedex, as well as the Shiny Charm. |
Who will be the protagonists? Brendan and May.
What role will Wally play? Still a rival. His Ralts can be male or female and if male, will evolve into Gallade and Gallade will gain a Mega Evolution. He will at least use Mega Evolution for his Gardevoir. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Same as Emerald. Maybe some more encounters with them. Steven collects stones and gives you Mega Stones. Will there be any other League-related changes? No. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? Of course. He'll have the same job/gimmick as in Emerald. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? Telling Groudon and Kyogre to calm the eff down. Aka, same as in Emerald. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? — their roles in the games will be? — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Signature types: Ground/Fire for Groudon, Water for Kyogre. Signature abilities: Permanent respective weather patterns. What Drizzle and Drought once were. Signature moves: Mega Groudon would get a move which would dry out water (like a ground/fire type Freeze Dry, something like Evaporation), Kyogre would probably have a water/life themed attack. Roles?: Beating the crap out of each other, or try to. Mega stones: Yep, Red/Blue orbs. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Groudon and Kyogre will no longer be exclusive, but one will be catchable sooner than the other. There will probably be more fire/ground types in OmegaRuby and water types in AlphaSapphire. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Only in the new areas they include. — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? There would be some added Fairy stuff. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Groudon, Kyogre, Gallade. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Red/Blue orbs for Groudon and Kyogre, Wally/Steven gives you the Mega Stones for Gallade/Gardevoir. Or Wally gives you the Mega Stone for the Kirlia evolution he doesn't have. New areas to be introduced? More islands. More shipwrecks. More underwater areas. Ideas for post-game content?Islands, shipwrecks, buried treasure hunts, Battle Frontier. |
Who will be the protagonists? - Clearly, Brendan and May
What role will Wally play? - I believe he will play the role he always has; however, I believe he will become the champ after beating the Elite Four the first time. What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? - I believe Juan, Wallace, and Steven will play the roles they have already; however, I believe Steven to have something to do with the Space Station in his city of Mossdeep. <3 Will there be any other League-related changes? - Other than a beautiful graphical rework, and post-game buffing, I don't believe so. Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? - I feel as if he'll allow "submissions" to record battles or movies to be made available for download through some in-game network. What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? - a moderator between Groudon and Kyogre, of course. Need to keep those two in line. Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think — their types / abilities / signature moves will be? - Kyogre = Water/Psychic, an advanced form of Heavy Rain, and something that changes the arena to a complete water-biased place Groudon = Ground/fire, and opposite of Kyogre's abilities. — their roles in the games will be? - They get awoken, and the respective evil teams expose them to the stones to try and amplify their effects. — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? - Now, I think they'd be engineered by the Team Magma/Aqua scientists in anticipation for the awakening. What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? - Skarmory, Tropius, Absol, Baltoy, and Solrock/Lunatone, and Cacnea. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Of course, just post-game. Method similar to the Hoenn/Sinnoh sounds in HGSS — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Starters will be excluded from the wild; however, most of the fan favorites will be included in the wild, including Honedge line. <3 What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? - Hopefully, the starters + the legendaries. I also believe that the Regis will receive a mega evolution, as well as Salamance and Milotic. Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? - the Space Station will have something to do with the distribution, as they discover them occasionally with their satellites. They'll send you on randomized expeditions for various stones, once a week. New areas to be introduced? Of course, THE MOON. Ideas for post-game content? Visiting the moon, something to do with that dreadful white rock. Also, the battle tower should have something integrated with multiplayer support, maybe conquer the tower with a buddy, or have player sanctioned tournaments. That'd be rad. The Regis could make for a REALLY sweet post-game story, if done properly, also something to expand on Mirage island with; that'd be super cool. Maybe some caverns giving us the origins of the Wynauts, I mean, because why not? |
Who will be the protagonists?
= You would think that it would be May and Brendan. But No! It should be May's Kid and Brendan's Kid! You should be able to change their appearance just like in X and Y! What role will Wally play? = I think it would be cool if he ended up being the Champion! What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? = Either some of the Elite Four, or the Gym Leaders. Will there be any other League-related changes? = Someone will be the new Champion. Right? Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? = Oh Yeah! I've always wonder what this guys potential could be! He could be the Champion as well! Or the leader of a new Crime Agency! Or even a Strong Rival! What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? = Perhaps his role will be guiding the protagonist in part of the story. (Because Rayquaza would have been owned by the protagonists father/mother. Right?) Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think? = They would look so cool! I can't wait to see their sprites!!! - their types / abilities / signature moves will be? = type: Water/Fairy for Kyogre and Ground/Fire for Groudon = abilities: Kyogre: Something that makes his defence raise in rain! Groudon: Something that makes his attack raise in the sun! = signature moves: Kyogre: Sparkle Pump! Groudon: Sullen Beam! - their roles in the games will be? = The Protagonists Legendary Pokemon! - of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? = The red and blue orbs would be cool! But are those Mega Stones? What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? = Most likely Groudon-Omega Ruby and Kyogre-Alpha Sapphire. Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? = Oh totally! Look at the new version of Johto! - If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? = Well since it IS coming out after Pokemon X and Y you would think the All the Gen 6 Pokemon will be there. What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? = I think: Spinda, Mightyena, Linoone, Swellow, Pelipper, Breloom, Hariyama, Delcatty, Sableye, Sharpedo, Torkoal, Skarmory, Altaria, Zangoose, Lunatone, Solrock, Milotic, Castform, Kecleon, Tropius, Wobbuffet, Relicanth, and Corsola deserve a mega evolution :). Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? = I think you should have to collect mega stone shards and bring them to someone to put them back together. For a fee of course. New areas to be introduced? = This would be so cool! Like being able to travel to Johto! And some new islands which represent: Fukuoka, Oita, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima. Ideas for post-game content? Meeting the protagonist from Johto and battling him and Meeting professor Elm (I feel he was forgotten). Maybe a new battle style? |
