Fortunately/Unfortunately

This story can be about anything, except you have to alternate between fortunate and unfortunate events :3

Poster 1: Fortunately, Bruce's parents were rich.
Poster 2: Unfortunately, they were killed.
Poster 3: Fortunately, Bruce became Batman.
Poster 4: Unfortunately, he was killed by a clown.

Or whatever crazy things you can think of. Got it? Good.

Fortunately, Gary won the lottery.

Akiba May 26th, 2014 6:52 PM

Unfortunately, he won a $5 lottery. No use getting excited.

Also, I think we'd have to reset the story often, due to The Law of Exponential Growth.

The Void May 26th, 2014 7:37 PM

Fortunately, his friend sold video games for $5.

Maybe. Let's see how it goes first :D

Hyzenthlay May 26th, 2014 7:46 PM

Unfortunately, the video game was Superman 64. D:

Yay 3rd post. :P

Akiba May 26th, 2014 8:55 PM

Fortunately, a prospective buyer on eBay offered $300 for it.

The Void May 26th, 2014 9:24 PM

Unfortunately, the buyer was a fraud.

acatfrommars May 26th, 2014 9:40 PM

Fortunately, another buyer was interested in it.

Akiba May 26th, 2014 9:42 PM

Unfortunately, that buyer was also a fraud.

Oldest trick in the book

acatfrommars May 26th, 2014 9:46 PM

Fortunately, before the guy was about to throw it away a rich man named Giovanni saw him and bought the game for $3000.

Akiba May 26th, 2014 9:51 PM

Unfortunately, Bruce challenged Giovanni a battle. And he lost, paying $3000 as the winner's prize.

The Void May 26th, 2014 11:32 PM

Fortunately, Bruce was a millionaire anyway.

classiccartoonsftw May 27th, 2014 11:00 AM

Unfortunately, a criminal clown known as the Joker wanted the wealth for himself.

Cordelia May 27th, 2014 11:17 AM

Fortunately, Captain America swooped in and saved the day!

classiccartoonsftw May 27th, 2014 11:50 AM

Unfortunately, the Joker forged an alliance with the Red Skull and Baron Zemo, to get their revenge on Captain America.

Akiba May 27th, 2014 12:19 PM

Fortunately, American cartoons don't exist in real life.

Poki May 27th, 2014 1:01 PM

Unfortunately, nor does anime.

Akiba May 27th, 2014 1:11 PM

Fortunately, the curses from thousands of Otaku were censored just now.

The Void May 27th, 2014 4:11 PM

Unfortunately, millions of Otaku attempted to migrate to Japan, causing a huge flight traffic network.

acatfrommars May 27th, 2014 5:29 PM

Fortunately, Japanese robots were created to make new planes at a faster rate than ever before.

Akiba May 27th, 2014 5:41 PM

Unfortunately, Fukushima Daiichi happened.

The Void May 27th, 2014 8:30 PM

Fortunately that was three years ago.

Akiba May 27th, 2014 9:06 PM

Unfortunately, this story also happens three years in the past.

The Void May 27th, 2014 11:16 PM

Fortunately Gary has a time machine and travels to the time of the dinosaurs.

classiccartoonsftw May 28th, 2014 12:10 AM

Unfortunately, the dinosaurs use the time machine themselves.

The Void May 28th, 2014 1:06 AM

Fortunately they only go so far as one second later.
