Crap, I just realized I left money in my swimming trunks and went in the pool. D:

That GIF to me is the simple mind on drugs, which, I have to say, is a hell of a lot better than the simple mind off drugs, or worse… kiddy drugs like pain killers. Ew.

:E

Crux May 29th, 2014 2:36 PM

Ah, pain killers, just add alcohol for a ♥♥♥♥♥ing time.

No, seriously though, rock will never die.

Steven May 29th, 2014 3:04 PM

I hate powerful painkillers. Vicodin makes me black out. Percoset makes me make very bad decisions. The list goes on..

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 3:06 PM

I can't remember the last time I was ever on painkillers, if ever at all. :x Probably when I had my wisdom teeth removed, but that was it.

If rock ever died, I'd probably just completely boycott the music industry.

Sir Codin May 29th, 2014 3:12 PM

I think I've been on Vicodin once while getting my wisdom teeth pulled out. I awoke completely dazed and feeling incredibly trippy. It was awesome.

Crux May 29th, 2014 3:20 PM

I don't think rock ever truly could die, to be honest. It's made too much of a difference in the world, and still does. I mean, it's possible, I suppose, but I really doubt it.

Completely off topic, but would any of you wear this?

Not trying to be spamy or anything, just need some opinions. c:

Nick May 29th, 2014 3:31 PM

I wouldn't wear that, but I would wear this:

http://skreened.com/render-product/q/u/d/qudusqyiokpasgirfgzs/i-cant-keep-calm-because-i-have-anxiety-baseball-tee.american-apparel-unisex-baseball-tee.white-black.w760h760.jpg

☆Rei☆ May 29th, 2014 3:33 PM

I would wear that shirt, I don't really see anything wrong with it.

Pinkie-Dawn May 29th, 2014 3:39 PM

I would buy a shirt like that if it wasn't white, black, nor gray (I own too many of those colored shirts, and I buy shirts of different colors to add variety in my closet).

Judge Mandolore Shepard May 29th, 2014 4:00 PM

Only shirts I tend to buy now are polo shirts. I mainly wear them on the days I work. Course one clothing item that I prefer buying happens to be hats. I got quite a collection of them.

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 4:05 PM

I'm a t-shirt guy. You'll know the occasion is special if you don't see me wearing a t-shirt at all.

Treecko May 29th, 2014 4:11 PM

I need this shirt in my life. And this one.

I'm a big fan of raglans (baseball tee) so that style would be good for me too. Oh and I like a lot of striped shirts too.

Hahahah! I love that shirt. I would wear it.

Hikamaru May 29th, 2014 4:38 PM

I really need one of these! I suffer from anxiety a lot.

Sonata May 29th, 2014 4:43 PM

I don't feel all these long sleeves. But I could de-sleeve them and make them into a tank top and be sexy.

Crux May 29th, 2014 4:44 PM

Thanks much for the feedback, guys. c: Now just to hope I sell ten!

I'm definitely a T-Shirt person! I will however often wear button-up shirts, as well, though.
Ugh, guys, Raglans are gross!

J.M.S, I too, am a lover of hats.

Oryx May 29th, 2014 4:52 PM

What in the world is a raglan?

I think true rock split into metal and alternative and pop (which have their own spawn as well), which all have their distinctions. They and the genres inbetween seem to be satisfactory for tunes, eh?

That's my shirt. My SO's schizophrenic (and has mentioned it before here I think) and I think it'd be funny to wear. Her condition's not something we're ashamed of and we work on it together as a couple; I see no taboo in a tee like that. It's cute :3

Another word for the baseball tee. Or the quarter sleeve shirts Arago and I posted. Or more info.

Raglans are best when the sleeves are tight around the arms. Otherwise they become lose and floppy and awkward.

Bidoof FTW May 29th, 2014 5:03 PM

I would totally wear the schizophrenic shirt! It's white and black (very easy to match imo) and even though i'm not schizophrenic it looks nice, and comfy to wear. just like shorts ;D. Those will sell, maybe not fast, but they'll sell.

Nick May 29th, 2014 5:04 PM

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that I don't really know what a schizophrenic is.

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which you see things in your own eyes that people do not see (watch TF2's Meet the Pyro trailer to get the idea of the disorder).

It's much more than that too. They can feel, hear, taste, etc. Many find it impossible to distinguish between an episode and real life. I had a friend who's mom had an episode where she was murdered. She said she felt every stab. She was depressed for a long time after it too because in her episode she actually believed she died and went to heaven. IIRC this is a very severe episode though, most are not this bad.

Very horrible illness.

Crux May 29th, 2014 5:20 PM

Well, I won't tell you to buy one, but there's a link on my blog if any of you are interested. :3

Okay, I'm gonna stop now before I sound like I'm advertising, though. I swear, I'm not! D:

Thankfully Khilia's is nowhere near that severe. p_p AFAIK she only has acoustic hallucinations, and medication has worn the many voices down into one she calls Psyche, who seems to be a paranoid alter ego of hers.

Also whenever she goes to her sister's on holiday she's been getting drunk a lot, which is worrying me. It shows in our chat, and I always tell her to drink water before going to sleep. She still tells me she loves me, usually riddled with typos, so I ain't worried. :P

Sir Codin May 29th, 2014 5:45 PM

Here's a T-shirt I really want:

http://theworstpageintheuniverse.com/images/parent_web1.jpg

Raine May 29th, 2014 5:47 PM

Is that shirt supposed to imply that parents should be using physical means of disciplining their child...or am I missing the sarcasm?

Sir Codin May 29th, 2014 5:48 PM

You're missing the sarcasm.

Raine May 29th, 2014 5:51 PM

Okay, that's what I thought ;; It's hard to identify sarcasm online, or maybe it's just me again.

I have no idea what you're talking about and that link doesn't work. I'm curious now. You're advertising tactics are successful.

Whoops, sorry 'bout that.
I honestly am not trying to advertise, though. I'm only linking to it because some people here showed interest, and I was just giving them the option.

My blog is actually also linked in my sig, so I won't post that again. :p

Sorry, that other shirt is not one I could wear. Sarcasm doesn't work well on Tees, either. . .

Oryx May 29th, 2014 6:20 PM

Swimming alone is the best thing though! Then you can swim wherever you want and people won't bother you. When I swam for exercise the worst time to swim was when there were people because then I would have to share a lane.

Wait, what? I thought Alex was referring to the channel, not actual swimming XD

Sir Codin May 29th, 2014 6:34 PM

Adult Swim usually is a ghost town. So far I've seen nothing but King of the Hill, Family Guy, and it's terrible spin-off starring Cleveland.

He's 35. Since when was 35 "old"? Only when he hits 50 will I consider him too old for his schtick and even then he'll probably shift gears and go a new direction just like George Carlin did when he got old.

As for me, I still enjoy his works and his new stuff. I think The Best Show In The Universe is the best thing on Youtube.

You're free to! My intense dislike of him should not stop anyone from enjoying what they like.

He's far too old for the 17-year-old "everything sucks you are terrible your children are terrible I am amazing but the rest of the world is full of idiots worship me" crap. 35 isn't too old for some things - but it is too old for things he should have grown out of. Once you get above 25 or so I start questioning your ability to be funny if you're still writing to teenagers, and once you hit 30+ and start balding I just feel sad. It's all he's got I guess.

Yeah, I guess I can understand that. Jonathan Davis of Korn is 43 and he seriously needs to cut out the stupid "the whole world is against me because some woman raped me when I was 12" crap and disingenuous angsty lyrics that got boring after the first album that have been copied by abortions like Linkin Park, Evanescence, and Limp Bizkit and stopped being popular since 2003, but no. He keeps doing it and I keep hoping he dies.

Weirdly enough though, I just realized that I don't judge people who do small kid's shows, like The Wiggles or whatever. Maybe it's because I assume one is just a job and the other is a true belief? Or maybe because I don't find the attitude espoused in little kid shows as annoying? Hm. I might be biased.

No, I'm usually not up late or have much interest in TV in general, so I probably just miss it often.

Also, Maddox absolutely abhors people who dress in red and black color and act angsty about their "dark past" and for good reason; it's stupid Hot Topic BS.

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 7:11 PM

Wow, I wasn't aware that The Cleveland Show was cancelled at all.. but I guess that goes to show you how much I care about that show in general.

Not much of an [as] watcher. I used to watch King of the Hill every now and then on [as], but I've just lost interest.

Alexander Nicholi May 29th, 2014 7:12 PM

The Cleveland Show was meh. IDC whether it got cancelled. :/

Family Guy does have a sort of humor I like, with how they portray the characters with different personas. It is a little immature, but that doesn't mean I can't like it. :p

That is a kind of edgy, but it's also edgy to just insult everyone and everything and act like you're the best thing to happen to the world, to the point of insulting taboo things (like drawings of children in his case). Both edgy, both in different ways.

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 7:24 PM

I don't understand why my mother hates Family Guy, tbh. My brother thinks it's hilarious, and I've seen bits and pieces of the show and thought the same.

I always like shows with a bit of satire anyways.

Oryx May 29th, 2014 7:27 PM

I only like watching plots with Brian really. Too much of it falls under "I'm dumb, look at me!" for my humor interests - although I do like the breakaway skits in the shows.

Raine May 29th, 2014 7:31 PM

Brian and Quagmire are the most entertaining characters from Family Guy, in my opinion. Oh, and Stewie!

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 7:34 PM

I love it how Brian, of all characters, is literally the most intelligent.

The thing I love about Family Guy though is that when they're making fun of a person (most of the time), they actually get the person they're making fun of to provide the voice to convey the extra humor.

Not quite, if you listened to Quagmire's rant about him, you learn how much of a horrid character Brian is.

I take Family Guy very seriously because of the subjects they satirize, because comedic satires are suppose to teach us how to make our lives better.

While on the subject of Family Guy, is anyone planning to watch A Million Ways to Die in the West tomorrow? It's suppose to be a pure original movie, meaning it's not a remake/reboot/sequel nor an adaption of a pre-existing source material, yet it has a much worse percentage on Rotten Tomatoes than Maleficient, a retelling of Sleeping Beauty, which it too is getting a low percentage at Rotten Tomatoes, but I kind of expected it due to being a live-action Disney movie made by some of the guys responsible for Tim Burton's mediocre Alice in Wonderland film.

The Simpsons does that too you know. One of my favorites will always be Michael Jackson's appearance but one of my favorites from the more recent episodes was Lady Gaga's because she took every opportunity she could to make fun of her quirkiness and her over-the-top outfits.

Yes, it's a comedy from the same guys behind Family Guy and Ted. It's about people constantly getting killed in the wild west in various ways, just like the show from Spike TV 1000 Ways to Die, and Seth McFarlane's character is forced into a gunfight with a ruthless killer, and he must either stand and fight, with a high chance of dying in the process, or run and hide, which can still kill him if he's not careful. Also, expect dozens of toilet humor just like their previous projects and a Back to the Future reference.

Sir Codin May 29th, 2014 8:36 PM

It has Liam Neeson in it.

That's the only reason I'm seeing it. I expect it to be a load of cat feces overall, but hey...Liam Neeson.

Eh, I've not seen it, and doubt I will.
I'm more eager to see Seven Psychopaths, to be honest. Because Christopher Walken, FTW.

Sir Codin May 29th, 2014 9:17 PM

He's drunk, not tired.

I'd get drunk with him, but I got work tomorrow.

Crux May 29th, 2014 9:39 PM

Ah, nighttime when the drunks come out.

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 9:39 PM

I'd get drunk if I felt like getting drunk, but sadly I don't.

I don't work Fridays at all thank gosh. So I'm up late instead :D

I work from home, so I guess I could get drunk, but nah.

I'll save the whole filthy drunkard artist lifestyle for when I don't have to worry about living with other people, who would be up and loud in the morning.
Noise? Meet Hangover! I get the feeling that you two won't be friends.

Nick May 29th, 2014 9:43 PM

Aeroblast May 29th, 2014 10:29 PM

When I'm drunk, I still try to type properly, but sometimes get too lazy to fix punctuations and capitalizations.

Shining Raichu May 30th, 2014 1:04 AM

Phantom May 30th, 2014 2:56 AM

Oryx May 30th, 2014 4:52 AM

I'm too much of a lightweight to get to the misspelling drunk stage - I start puking before then. :( I considered drinking last night but decided against it.

☆Rei☆ May 30th, 2014 4:52 AM

I don't drink so I wouldn't know what being drunk is like.

Shining Raichu May 30th, 2014 4:58 AM

That's good, you're 17. Hugs, not drugs, man.

Hugs, not drugs.

17 years old, 5 months, and 24 days to be exact. But yeah some things in life I plan to never do.

Shining Raichu May 30th, 2014 5:31 AM

You'll wanna get drunk at least once, if only to cross it off the list of life experiences.
