As far as Maddox being 2edgy4u, isn't that only justifiable if Maddox use red and black color schemes for his appearance of choice and being angst about his dark past?

No, I'm usually not up late or have much interest in TV in general, so I probably just miss it often.

Also, Maddox absolutely abhors people who dress in red and black color and act angsty about their "dark past" and for good reason; it's stupid Hot Topic BS.

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 7:11 PM

Wow, I wasn't aware that The Cleveland Show was cancelled at all.. but I guess that goes to show you how much I care about that show in general.

Not much of an [as] watcher. I used to watch King of the Hill every now and then on [as], but I've just lost interest.

Alexander Nicholi May 29th, 2014 7:12 PM

The Cleveland Show was meh. IDC whether it got cancelled. :/

Family Guy does have a sort of humor I like, with how they portray the characters with different personas. It is a little immature, but that doesn't mean I can't like it. :p

That is a kind of edgy, but it's also edgy to just insult everyone and everything and act like you're the best thing to happen to the world, to the point of insulting taboo things (like drawings of children in his case). Both edgy, both in different ways.

Oh, man "I am better than your kids"

Classic.

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 7:24 PM

I don't understand why my mother hates Family Guy, tbh. My brother thinks it's hilarious, and I've seen bits and pieces of the show and thought the same.

I always like shows with a bit of satire anyways.

Oryx May 29th, 2014 7:27 PM

I only like watching plots with Brian really. Too much of it falls under "I'm dumb, look at me!" for my humor interests - although I do like the breakaway skits in the shows.

Raine May 29th, 2014 7:31 PM

Brian and Quagmire are the most entertaining characters from Family Guy, in my opinion. Oh, and Stewie!

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 7:34 PM

I love it how Brian, of all characters, is literally the most intelligent.

Kanzler May 29th, 2014 7:35 PM

I love Stewie!!! And Quagmire. And Brian. They are soo loveable :')

Sonata May 29th, 2014 7:35 PM

I like Meg. I hope you get mad.

LOL. There's nothing particularly wrong with Meg, but she seems sort of plain, like the majority of the characters in the show \:

Kanzler May 29th, 2014 7:39 PM

I like Meg because Mila Kunis.

Treecko May 29th, 2014 7:40 PM

Family Guy has it's good and bad moments, but I still prefer The Simpsons (yes even the newer seasons which everyone loves to hate despite them still being decently funny imo).

That's mainly because he's become Seth's mouthpiece on everything he sees wrong in society.

Tsutarja May 29th, 2014 7:49 PM

The thing I love about Family Guy though is that when they're making fun of a person (most of the time), they actually get the person they're making fun of to provide the voice to convey the extra humor.

Not quite, if you listened to Quagmire's rant about him, you learn how much of a horrid character Brian is.

I take Family Guy very seriously because of the subjects they satirize, because comedic satires are suppose to teach us how to make our lives better.

Kanzler May 29th, 2014 7:54 PM

There is no such thing as extra humour. There is never enough humour.

Wow. I never made that connection. I am an idiot.

Pinkie-Dawn May 29th, 2014 8:02 PM

While on the subject of Family Guy, is anyone planning to watch A Million Ways to Die in the West tomorrow? It's suppose to be a pure original movie, meaning it's not a remake/reboot/sequel nor an adaption of a pre-existing source material, yet it has a much worse percentage on Rotten Tomatoes than Maleficient, a retelling of Sleeping Beauty, which it too is getting a low percentage at Rotten Tomatoes, but I kind of expected it due to being a live-action Disney movie made by some of the guys responsible for Tim Burton's mediocre Alice in Wonderland film.

The Simpsons does that too you know. One of my favorites will always be Michael Jackson's appearance but one of my favorites from the more recent episodes was Lady Gaga's because she took every opportunity she could to make fun of her quirkiness and her over-the-top outfits.

In the episode she had 18 outfit changes which made it even more hilarious. XD http://www.ibtimes.com/lady-gaga-and-her-18-costumes-simpsons-season-23-finale-photos-700543

What's it about? Is it a comedy? I've been looking for a lighthearted movie to go to with my mom because she wants some movie popcorn.

Yes, it's a comedy from the same guys behind Family Guy and Ted. It's about people constantly getting killed in the wild west in various ways, just like the show from Spike TV 1000 Ways to Die, and Seth McFarlane's character is forced into a gunfight with a ruthless killer, and he must either stand and fight, with a high chance of dying in the process, or run and hide, which can still kill him if he's not careful. Also, expect dozens of toilet humor just like their previous projects and a Back to the Future reference.

Sir Codin May 29th, 2014 8:36 PM

It has Liam Neeson in it.

That's the only reason I'm seeing it. I expect it to be a load of cat feces overall, but hey...Liam Neeson.

Crux May 29th, 2014 9:02 PM

Eh, I've not seen it, and doubt I will.
I'm more eager to see Seven Psychopaths, to be honest. Because Christopher Walken, FTW.
