A lot of people plan never to drink when they're your age. I know I did!

Possibly, I don't really have a list of life experiences I do and don't want to have.

Oryx May 30th, 2014 5:38 AM

Why wouldn't you want to ever try alcohol anyway? It never made any sense to me, except for the obvious "My ____ was an alcoholic" - having a couple drinks will not shorten your lifespan by any appreciable amount, you can do it in the safety of your own room if you're afraid of loss of control (and if you're that afraid of loss of control, you might need professional help), and it's legal.

Vodka can be made from potatoes. Some people consider me as a potato (I don't know why). Therefore cannibalism.

Hugs, not drugs.

Both tbh. 8)

I'm surprised there are 17 year olds who don't want to drink, honestly. Here it's like... everyone does unless there are religious reasons or whatever behind it. I kinda think you're missing out if you don't try it at least once just to see what it's like, even if you end up hating it. It's an experience. Life's made to experience things. 8)

Shining Raichu May 30th, 2014 5:47 AM

Then maybe drink bourbon?

Tsutarja May 30th, 2014 5:51 AM

I can remember for the longest of time not wanting to drink alcohol but I guess getting older just changed that in me.

Also, ♥♥♥♥ the USA and the drinking age of being 21.

Okay, this may be my favorite reason not to drink ever.

I don't follow any religion, but I guess it's more like I'm just too lazy to try.

Again, too lazy to try.

And for those of you who don't know I'm usually the laziest person around, I usually sit next to a screen and do whatever possible there. I only leave when I absolutely have to.

Kanzler May 30th, 2014 5:55 AM

He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to. Besides, it's a long way to go from drinking to drunk. And ♥♥♥♥ the drinking age being 21. As a Canadian, coming over the border and not being able to drink, that's embarrassing >:(

Shining Raichu May 30th, 2014 5:57 AM

Blah, you suck, Kanzler.

HE WILL DO AS I SAY BECAUSE

No, really? We thought our words were physically forcing alcohol down his throat. Don't I have egg on my face!

Seriously though, saying drunkenness, barring addiction problems, should be something that people experience once in their life is no more strange than saying people should experience living without a roommate or taking public transportation on their own or leaving the country. You can live life without it, easily, but it's an experience that gives you a bit more insight into certain parts of life - in this case, why people drink and interaction while drunk. I know I got a lot more sympathetic towards drunk posting when I started drinking, because my brain wants to socialize when I'm drunk.

☆Rei☆ May 30th, 2014 6:01 AM

No worries, I don't feel forced to anything here, I mean what's the worst you could do if I didn't? Say I suck?

Shining Raichu May 30th, 2014 6:03 AM

That's exactly what we could do. Begin a slow and subtle chipping away at your self esteem until drinking seems like the only option to escape. :P

Oryx May 30th, 2014 6:04 AM

Man I have so much self-esteem when I'm drunk. I know it's stereotypical but I always end up feeling really damn good about my life choices.

Oooooorrrrr I could just close my browser and ignore it.

Oryx May 30th, 2014 6:11 AM

He's joking with you, dude.

☆Rei☆ May 30th, 2014 6:12 AM

I know, but I tend to give out logical solutions to any problem.

Alexander Nicholi May 30th, 2014 7:30 AM

Alcohol seems nice, but I'm not really keen on jumping on it as soon as possible. I'd rather wait, really ;)

Oryx May 30th, 2014 7:39 AM

I waited too, tbh. I didn't drink until about sophomore year of college, because none of my friends did. It actually does make sense to me to put it off until ____, but just not to make a pact to never even try drinking.

I've got some killer 'drinks that don't taste like alcohol' recipes too.

Sir Codin May 30th, 2014 7:41 AM

I had to call in sick for work. I must have come into contact with something because I've got uncontrollable itching in...places.

Kanzler May 30th, 2014 7:44 AM

Ball rash cream. Or baby powder.

Sir Codin May 30th, 2014 7:52 AM

Calamine Lotion seems to be working.

As long as I don't irritate it (or not irritate it as the case may be) things should clear up. Benedryl is also helping.
