Welcome to Play Well - the LEGO Fanclub. This fanclub is for talking about everything Lego. Talk about the sets, the books, board and video games, the theme parks, fan creations, up and including The LEGO Movie. Now Lego was invented in 1932 in Billund, Denmark by Ole Kirk Christensen. For the current topic, my answer is yes. The first Lego set I got was #6445 Emergency Evac. It was one of the sets in the Res-Q subtheme of the Town theme. I got that set on April 19th 1998, my tenth birthday. |

How did you first find out about Lego: When my parents bought me a set when I was like 3 or something. Do you remember the first Lego set you got? If so which one was it? Nope. Since I can't answer this question, I'll go ahead and testify how evil legos are and how they send your feet to hell when you step on a block. |

Not to mention the Lego Movie was great too. Do you remember the first Lego set you got? If so which one was it? Since i was into Star Wars, it was Lego Star Wars my first set of pack :] |
Welcome Isaac. I recall the first Lego Star Wars set I got was #7128 Speeder Bikes. I have gotten a lot more sets in that theme over the years.

How did you first find out about Lego: I can't remember, it's been a while. Do you remember the first Lego set you got? If so which one was it? No idea either on that, maybe something Duplo? Also, what were you're opinions on the LEGO Movie? I watched it in theaters. Needless to say, immediately bought DVD as soon as possible. |
Welcome Mew, also that is a good idea for a topic. When it comes to The Lego Movie, I really enjoyed it. When it was in theaters, I saw it on the exact day it came into theaters. Course I forgot about buying it on DVD until this past weekend.
